- ♪ Hey, Calvin, what are we learning today? ♪

♪ Our pet pal Stuff is set to help and to play ♪

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff ♪ - ♪ Let's go to dog school ♪

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff ♪ - ♪ Let's go to dog school ♪

♪ When I say "ready," you say "ruff" ♪

[barks]

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff, Mutt & Stuff ♪

- ♪ Bark along and put your paws up ♪

♪ Pets can't seem to get enough of ♪

♪ Calvin and his pups ♪

♪ Mutt & Stuff ♪

- Skip-a-dee, ski-doo-doo-doo. [laughs]

Hey, Zippy, look at all these hats I found.

You wear them while you do all different kinds of jobs.

- [barks]

- Yeah, I wonder what job I'll do when I grow up.

Hmm. - [barks]

- Whoa, yeah, maybe I'll be a fireman!

They get to drive trucks and go whee-oo, whee-oo,

whee-oo, whee-oo! Honk, honk!

[laughs]

- [barks]

- Oh, yeah, or a construction worker!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, they get to use a jackhammer and go...

[exclaiming]

[laughs]

Whoo, ahh, these jobs are all paw-mazing,

but which one should I do?

- [barks] - Oh, yeah, good idea, Zippy.

Maybe Calvin can help.

Go get him, buddy!

- [barking] - [laughing]

- [barks]

- [yipping]

- [barks]

[alarm blaring]

[upbeat music]

♪ ♪

- Hi, I'm Calvin.

Welcome to Mutt & Stuff.

Hi, Stuff. Hi, Zippy.

- Calvin, I'm glad you're here.

Can you help me decide what to be when I grow up?

- Sure, I can, because today is doggy job day!

Calling all dogs!

Time to try some super fun jobs!

Come on! - [laughs]

Neat!

- Good morning, everyone.

Today we're gonna meet a lot of dogs with amazing jobs.

- Whoo-hoo!

[dogs barking]

- So let's meet our first dog of the day.

He's chilly, he's furry,

he pulls a sled in a hurry, he's--

- Hi, Calvin. - Annie the animal rescuer?

Hi, Annie. You're not a sled dog.

- Nope, but there's one sledding into school right now.

♪ ♪

- Aw!

♪ ♪

Wow, a real sled dog in our school!

That is so cool!

- Sled dogs like Whoosh are all about being cool.

Check out this video I made about them.

[beeps]

Sled dogs are super fast.

♪ ♪

Their job is to run in the snow and pull people across the ice.

♪ ♪

It's hard work, but they love it.

♪ ♪

- Aw, why, I wish I could be a sled dog.

I love playing in the snow.

- Well, then let's get ready to sleddy!

- That's right-- you all can try being sled dogs!

Come on!

♪ ♪

- Check it out, everyone!

I had the whole street closed for us to practice

being sled dogs.

- Whoa, it's like we're in the North Pole!

[giggles] Oh, brr.

- Now you guys can be sled dogs just like Whoosh.

♪ ♪

Everyone gets a passenger to pull in their sled...

- Ooh. - And then it's off

to the frozen forest, past Mount Icicle...

- Gosh. - And all the way

to Camp Snowflake!

- That's me! [laughs]

- [giggles]

- [laughs] - This is gonna be so cool.

- Yeah.

- Zippy, you're first up, pup.

♪ ♪

Zippy, you're gonna carry Pancake the polar bear.

Grr.

Have fun!

♪ ♪

- [laughs] - Oh, oh, oh!

Oh, yeah, nice one!

- Way to go, Zippy!

- And Zippy safely got Pancake the polar bear

to Camp Snowflake.

Cuddles, it's your turn to sled.

You've got Walter the whale.

Have a whale of a good time.

♪ ♪

- Go, Cuddles, go!

- Hey! - [laughs]

- Oh, yeah! [laughs]

- Another safe and successful ride.

Next up, it's Stuff.

- Oh, that's me, yes, yes!

- Stuff, you're sledding with Murray the walrus.

- [chuckles] - Tooth you very much.

- Great, all right, here comes Stuff the sled dog.

Mush, mash, mish-- what do they say?

- Mush, Stuff!

- Right, mu-ush.

Whoa, huh, didn't budge.

Oh, let me try that again.

Here we go, mush!

Why, what, how?

- That's okay, Stuff. Take your time.

In the meantime, Cowboy's gonna take his turn

while you figure things out.

- Okay, Calvin, it's time to sled!

[grunting]

- Cowboy, here comes Slippery the seal.

[mimics seal barking]

Have a safe trip.

♪ ♪

- Get along, little sled doggy!

[thud]

- Whoa, Cowboy's sled tipped! I gotta go help him!

[exclaims]

Uh, don't worry, little buddy.

I gotcha.

Ah. [chuckles]

Okay, Cowboy, don't feel bad about tipping your sled over,

Cowboy, 'cause I tip things over all the time, you know?

Like my water bowl and my blocks, and, well,

even myself.

- [barks]

- Yeah, see I know you're gonna find a job you're great at

because you're great. - [barks]

- All right, there you go.

[sighs]

- Hey, Stuff. - Hmm?

- You helped Cowboy feel better.

That was really nice of you.

- Oh, it's no big doggy deal.

Cowboy's my friend, you know? I felt bad for him.

I just wish I was good at being a sled dog.

- Oh, Stuff, don't you worry.

You can always try a different doggy job.

- Mm. - Oh, wait till you see

the next cool dog that's coming to visit Mutt & Stuff.

He's a real hero. - Ooh.

♪ ♪

- Hey, Davenport.

Davenport! - [screams]

Oh, hey there, Zoe.

- Those dogs are working like real snow dogs

in the icy cold mountains.

- Snow way!

[wacky trombone]

[laughter]

- Whoa! - Whoa!

I'm okay. - Meow too.

[upbeat music]

- Okay, everyone, time to meet our next dog with a job.

- Ooh.

- Here he is-- Ronnie the rescue dog!

Hi, Ronnie, welcome to Mutt & Stuff.

- Wow, you mean Ronnie rescues people

the way Annie rescues animals?

- That's right, and this video shows how they save the day.

- Hmm. - Check it out!

- Wait till you see this.

[beeping]

- Oh.

- Rescue dogs are really smart.

They learn how to climb in, around, and over

almost anything.

They do all this training to help find people

who are lost or hurt.

- Oh, boy, I bet I could be a rescue dog, see?

'Cause I can run and jump

and find people. - [giggles]

- See, I just found Calvin. - [laughing]

- That's great, Stuff, but could you find him

if he was lost in a big city?

- Hmm. - Wait till you see this.

- Whoa, it's like a big city but littler,

right here in Mutt & Stuff.

Well, I don't know if I can rescue someone in this big city.

- Well, let's see if Ronnie can.

- Okay, I'm gonna go hide, and, Ronnie, you try to find me.

Now remember, no peeking.

♪ ♪

- Ooh.

[giggles]

- Help, I'm lost!

- Ooh! - Okay, Ronnie.

Time to find Calvin.

- [howls]

[dramatic music]

♪ ♪

- Ronnie, you saved me!

- [howls]

- Good job, Ronnie, you did it!

[dogs barking]

- Okay, guys, now it's your turn to be rescue dogs.

- I'll hide these stuffed animals

so you can go and find them.

- Now I want all of you outside so there will be no peeking.

♪ ♪

Come on.

[dogs barking]

- Right, no peeking. [laughs]

♪ ♪

- No peeking.

♪ ♪

- [giggles]

♪ ♪

Okay, Calvin, we're ready.

- Okay, dogs.

Get ready, set, rescue!

[dogs barking]

- [giggles] It's rescue time!

Whee!

♪ ♪

- [grunts]

Oh, hi there, Zippy.

I heard you're trying to rescue some stuffed animals.

- [barks]

- Well, maybe there's one at the other end of this rope.

But you've gotta pull it to find out.

[giggles]

♪ ♪

[laughs]

Good job, Zippy!

You just rescued a bunny and some confetti.

[laughs]

- Whoa, I found a stuffed animal mouse!

- What? Wait, Stuff, I'm not a stuffed--

Stuff, I'm not a stuffed animal! - Found you, first try!

Look at that. - Um, Stuff?

- Get ready to chew!

♪ ♪

- All right, great rescuing, everyone.

- Zippy found a furry little bunny.

♪ ♪

Rocket found a happy monkey.

♪ ♪

Sonny found a cute elephant.

- And I found a stuffed toy mouse.

I'm gonna name him Mousey Pinkadero.

- Stuff, it's me, Noodles.

- Wait, what? Oh!

[laughs] Ah, so it is.

You are you, Noodles.

Sorry about that.

- That's okay.

- And Grumbles found...

- [whines]

♪ ♪

Oh, Grumbles, you didn't find your stuffed animal.

That's okay.

- [whines]

- Uh-oh, it looks like Grumbles is sad.

Well, I better go help him.

- [whines]

- Oh, hey, Grumbles.

I know you didn't find your stuffed animal,

but it's okay.

That rescue course was really tough.

And besides, I know you're gonna find a job

that's perfect for you.

You know how I know?

Because you try really hard all the time.

- [barks]

- Oh, good, well, I'm glad you feel better.

- Hey, Stuff. - Ooh.

- I heard all the nice things you said to Grumbles.

You're a really good friend.

- Oh, thanks, Calvin.

I just hope I find a job soon so I can feel really good,

because, so far, I'm only good at messing up.

[groans]

♪ ♪

[upbeat jazzy music]

- Hey, Davenport.

Davenport! - [screams]

Oh, hey, Zoe.

- Have you ever saved someone in a city?

- Yes, in New York Kitty.

[wacky trombone]

[laughter]

both: Ah!

- I'm okay. - Meow too.

[upbeat music]

- Okay, everyone, you guys were great sled dogs and rescue dogs.

Now let's meet our next doggy with a job.

♪ ♪

Sally the seeing eye dog.

- Wow, Sally gets to wear a cool harness.

- It's so she can guide people around who can't see,

like when I wear this blindfold. - Oh.

- Okay.

♪ ♪

- Oh.

♪ ♪

Wow, Sally's helping Calvin walk around the school

without bumping into anything.

- Seeing eye dogs can lead people to all kinds of places,

even to our next activity at the Woof Zone.

- [gasps]

- Great, Sally and I will meet you there.

Come on!

♪ ♪

- ♪ Here we come ♪

♪ Riding with my friends ♪

♪ It's a puppy peddle party where the fun never ends ♪

♪ Can I get a woof, woof? ♪

[dogs barking]

♪ Can I get a woof, woof? ♪

[dogs barking]

♪ We're wagging tails all day long ♪

♪ It's a puppy peddle party and the end of my song ♪

- [giggles] Whoo-hoo!

Yeah!

♪ ♪

[horn honks]

[coughs]

- Okay, everyone, we made it.

- Oh, whoa, the Woof Zone has so many things to bump into.

There's no way a seeing eye dog could make it around this place.

- Oh, yeah? Annie, show him what you got.

- Check this out. - Huh?

- Seeing eye dogs watch out for people who can't see.

They know how to cross the street

and keep their owners from stepping into danger.

Yikes!

They love to help people.

- Paw-some video, Annie.

Okay, guys, it's time for you to be seeing eye dogs.

- Oh, I hope I'm good at this job.

- You've all got to lead me around

without bumping into anything, and I'll wear this bandana

so I can't see.

- Okay, seeing eye dogs.

On your mark, get set, see!

♪ ♪

Time to see how well the dogs do this next job.

♪ ♪

Sonny makes his way around the balloon machine.

So far, so good.

Oh, Sonny stops short for Zippy.

Giggle and Wiggle have got this one in the bag.

Bean bag, that is.

♪ ♪

Zippy, how low can you go?

♪ ♪

How far back can you track?

And it's Stuff's turn to be a seeing eye dog.

He's been trying to find a job he's good at all day.

- Okay, Annie, follow me.

- Wow, Stuff is really showing his stuff.

I sure hope those balloons don't pop Stuff's attention.

- A balloon machine?

[laughs]

- Oh, no, stuff let go of Annie's hand!

- Ooh, yes, yes, I got a balloon!

- Stuff? Hello?

- [giggles]

- Stuff? Hello?

- Oh, no, and Annie's heading straight for the--

- [shrieks]

- Ball pit.

Oh, Annie, are you okay?

- I'm fine.

Just a little embarrassed.

But at least I'm having a ball.

[giggling]

- Oh, Annie, I'm so sorry.

I'm the worst seeing eye dog ever.

I'm the worst anything dog ever.

Bah! [sobbing]

- Wait, Stuff!

♪ ♪

Stuff?

Stuff? Where are you?

- I've looked everywhere, but I can't find him.

He must be really upset.

[whirring]

- [barks]

- Looks like Zippy found Stuff in the photo booth.

I think it's time for a nose to nose.

[soft music]

Hey, Stuff. - Hmm?

Oh, hey, Calvin.

- Don't worry about not being the best seeing eye dog.

We'll just find something else you can do.

- Yeah, but I wasn't any good at sledding or rescuing.

It's like I'm not good at any job.

- Hey, every dog is good at something.

And I just thought of the perfect thing you can do.

- Hmm? - Let's watch.

[beeping]

Some dogs help people feel better when they're sad.

They give lots of hugs, make people smile,

and love to make friends.

These dogs are called therapy dogs,

and they're awesome.

- Wow, therapy dog, yeah!

Now that sounds like a job I can do.

- And you're already doing it, Stuff!

When you helped Cowboy, Grumbles,

and Junior Shades feel better.

- I guess you're right.

Wow, Calvin, you made me feel better too.

You should be a therapy human.

- Come on, Stuff, let's go tell everyone about your new job.

- Yeah, whoo!

[laughter]

Whoo-hoo, hey, hey, everyone.

I finally found out what job I'm good at.

I'm a therapy dog.

[dogs barking]

- That's great, Stuff!

- Annie, I'm so sorry I let you fall into the ball pit.

- That really makes me feel better.

You really are a great therapy dog.

- Oh, well, here's the best therapy of all.

A big hug!

Yeah!

- That means there's only one job left to do.

Start off the job day doggy dance party!

Come on, wag it like you mean it!

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff, Mutt & Stuff ♪

- ♪ Hey, Calvin, what are we learning today? ♪

- And that makes him the perfect therapy dog.

Then we had an awesome job day doggy dance party.
