at one of our favorite stores!

- It has bouncy balls. - Remote controlled robots.

- Stuffed animals.

- What kind of store do you think it is?

A toy store! Yeah!

- Huh, I wonder what that noise is.

- Sounds like it's coming from over there.

- Whoa!

- I've never seen a machine like that before.

[toy squeaks] - Yay, my toy!

I love it so much!

- Gaskets! It just made a toy elephant

for that little girl.

- It must be a toy making machine.

- Come on, let's go check it out.

- Looks like all you have to do is push a button

for the toy you want and the machine makes it.

- Ooh, let's try pushing this button.

What kind of toy is that?

An airplane! Right!

[machine beeps and whirrs]

- Whoa! - It worked!

The machine made an airplane toy!

- That's amazing!

- Hey, I wonder what this red button does.

- Whoa, be careful, Watts.

This sign says we're not supposed

to push the red button.

- Phew! Sure glad I didn't do that.

[airplane whirrs]

- Hey airplane, wait for us!

[laughter]

[yelling]

- [groans]

- [laughs]

Ooh, check this out, Crusher.

It's some kind of toy making machine.

- Toy making machine?

[giggles]

Just look at all the toys this machine can make.

- Yup, it can make lots of toys.

Just make sure that whatever you do,

you never press the red button.

- Sorry, can't hear you,Pickle.

I'm too busy pressing this red button.

[machine whirrs] - Oh, boy.

[machine dings]

- [giggles] This is great!

The machine made me a toy train

and a toy dinosaur.

Even a toy octopus!

- Huh, maybe pressing that red button

doesn't make anything bad happen after all.

These are just cute little toys

that are growing bigger and bigger and bigger.

- Uh-oh.

I guess pushing the red button made giant toys!

[both yell, train whistle blows]

- Look out! - Let's get out of here!

[train whistle blows]

- Hubcaps! What's making all that noise?

- Oh, no! Look!

Giant toys!

- Who made them? How did they get so big?

- Someone must've pushed the red button

on the toy making machine,

and the only way to make them shrink small again

is to push the green buttons.

See?

There's a green button on top of all of the toys.

- Well then we've got to catch those giant toys

and shrink them down to size.

- Yeah! - Let's do it!

- Giant toys, here we come!

There goes the giant toy train.

We've got to hurry and press that green button,

so we can shrink it.

- Come on!

Hurry, the toy train went this--

So slippery!

- Hang on, Watts!

- Whoa! Whoo!

Thanks, Blaze.

- But what'll we do now?

That toy train spilled soapy water all over the road!

- Well, we can't drive through a slippery spill.

So to catch that train, we'll have to clean it up.

- Yeah, and we know the best way to clean up a spill.

We'll use absorption.

- Absorption is when something pulls in a liquid like water

and holds it inside.

Take a look.

Things that are good at absorption

have lots of spaces in them.

When you clean up a spill,

the water fills those spaces and stays inside.

- Hey, maybe there's something in one of these boxes

that can absorb the soapy water.

- Let's see.

These boxes have pencils and sponges.

Hmm, which do you think can absorb the water,

a pencil or a sponge?

Okay, let's try putting them in water and see.

- Hmm, the pencil's not doing anything to the water.

But look! The sponge is absorbing it.

- Yeah, all the water is going inside

and filling up those little holes.

- Come on, everyone, let's grab some sponges and get absorbing.

[both grunt]

Yeah! - We did it!

- We cleaned up all the soapy water!

[train whistle blows]

- And look, there's the giant toy train.

Uh-oh, but it just made another big spill.

And this time, it's super slippery orange juice.

- Hey, maybe something in here can absorb the orange juice.

- These boxes have frying pans and towels.

Which do you think can absorb the orange juice,

a frying pan or a towel?

Let's find out.

- Hmm, none of the orange juice is going into the frying pan.

- But lots is going into the towel!

It's absorbing!

- Come on, it's towel time!

- And look, we've almost caught up with the toy train.

- [gasps] Oh, no!

But to press that green button,

we're gonna have to get through one last spill--

a puddle of super slippery chocolate milk!

- Maybe one of these can absorb it.

We could use a wrench or napkins.

Which do you think will absorb the chocolate milk,

a wrench or napkins?

Okay, let's do a test and see.

- The wrench isn't absorbing any chocolate milk.

- But the napkins are pulling it all inside!

- Napkins, do your thing!

- Yeah! - We did it!

- And there's the giant toy train!

- A.J., give me some speed.

Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

- We pressed the shrink button.

[low whistle]

- And look, the toy train is getting smaller and smaller.

[train whistle blows]

- Aww, now it's the perfect size to play with.

- Check it out, there were three giant toys,

but we just shrank the train.

How many giant toys are left?

Two! Yeah!

The dinosaur and the octopus!

- Come on, Monster Machines, let's find those toys.

- We've got to hurry and press that shrink button

to make it small again.

- Oh, no! It's a huge pile of junk!

- And if we're gonna stop that dinosaur,

we need to figure out a way to get past it.

- Looks like we need a landfill compactor.

- Yeah!

Landfill compactors push their way

through huge piles of junk.

They knock 'em down,

and then crush the junk with their big spiky wheels.

- Come on.

Let's build the parts to turn me into a landfill compactor.

First, I need a pusher blade.

That's the part that pushes the piles of junk over.

To make the pusher blade, say "pusher blade."

Pusher blade!

Next, I need a powerful diesel engine

to drive up on top of the big junk piles.

To build a diesel engine, say "diesel engine."

Diesel engine!

Last, I need spiky compactor wheels

to crush the junk as they roll over.

To make the compactor wheels, say "compactor wheels."

Compactor wheels!

Oh, yeah!

I'm a landfill compactor monster machine!

- Whoa!

- Looking good, Compactor Blaze!

- Now let's crush some junk!

[engine revvs]

- Whoo-hoo! - Oh, yeah!

- You did it, Blaze!

- You crushed all that junk!

- And look, there goes the giant toy dinosaur!

- Hurry, we can't let it get away!

Then I can crush the junk it knocks in our way.

Now there's just one giant toy left--

the water-squirting octopus.

- This way, everyone.

Let's go find that octopus.

- Yeah! - Whoo-hoo!

- Okay, Crusher, somewhere in this box

there's a pickle toy you are gonna love.

[gasps] Like this cuddly-wuddly...

- Pickle teddy bear? Yuck!

- Okay then, maybe you're in the mood

to play some beautiful music with a pickle xylophone!

[xylophone chimes] - [giggling]

- Yuck!

I don't want a pickle xylophone either.

Ooh, but this dump truck looks fun!

- You're right, Crusher, that dump truck is fun.

It can dump rocks, it can dump sand,

it can dump pickles...

- Dump pickles?

[yells]

Yuck.

[engines revving]

[tires squealing]

- Look, big puddles of water!

I bet that water-squirting octopus made these!

- Then it must be around here somewhere.

Help us look for it.

[birds chirping]

No. Let's look somewhere else.

Is the octopus at the bakery?

- [sniffs]

- Uh-uh. No octopus there.

Is the octopus at the carnival?

Yeah, it's over there on top of the tallest ride!

- And it looks like it's about to blast more water.

- Oh, look out!

- [yelling] - Let's get out of here!

- Whew, that water-blasting octopus is making a huge mess.

- We've got to find someway to get up there and shrink it!

Before we get hit by a giant waterdrop!

[both yell]

- I wish there was some way we could absorb

those giant waterdrops.

- Hey, I know what we can use.

A mop!

Mops can pull in lots of water.

That's why they're so good for cleanup.

[goofy music]

Watch this!

- Whoa! - It worked!

- The mop absorbed that giant waterdrop!

- Come on, Watts, grab a mop and let's get going!

- Oh, yeah!

- Careful, Monster Machines!

The giant octopus is about to blast out more water.

- Look, it blasted out one drop.

And here come two more!

Three! Yeah!

- It's absorption time!

The octopus is about to blast more water.

the octopus toy is about to blast even more this time.

- Yeah! - We did it!

- Now there's only one thing left to do.

Press that green button and shrink that octopus!

- But we better hurry!

It's getting ready to blast the most water yet!

- Come on, Watts, it's time to use blazing speed!

- Oh, yeah!
