- Hey, check it out.

AJ and I are here with our friend, Officer Anna,

the police officer!

- Reporting for duty!

Police officers are always there to help

and keep everyone safe.

You know, you guys are good at helping people, too.

Maybe you should be police officers.

- I can handle that. Come on, AJ.

- All right!

Time to become...

together: Police officers!

[siren wails]

- Officer Blaze... - And Officer AJ...

together: Reporting for duty!

- All right, officers! Let's get a move on!

- Oh, yeah! Police officers--

These cookies I just baked smell delicious!

[chuckles]

Well, I'll just grab a few things from my bakery,

and--my cookies!

They're gone!

- Mm-mm! [chuckles]

I can hardly wait to take a bite of this chocolate bar!

Chocolate bar? Where'd you go?

- Oh, boy!

These lollipops look so yummy, and big, and--and yummy!

- Pickle, I've got an idea!

Let's close our eyes and take a big lick!

- What could go wrong?

both: Ahh--

- Crusher? - Uh-huh?

- Where'd our lollipops go?

- What do you mean, where'd our lollipops go?

They're right--[gasps] our lollipops, they're gone!

[both scream]

[siren wails]

- Crusher, Pickle, what's the matter?

- Officer Anna, something terrible's happened!

- Our lollipops, they've disappeared.

- Well, the same thing happened to my cookies.

- And my chocolate bar!

- Missing lollipops, cookies, and chocolate?

- What do you think happened to them, Officer Anna?

- Sounds to me like those desserts were taken by someone.

- Taken? - By who?

- By the most candy-loving bandit

in the whole, wide world: The Treat Thief.

- [laughs]

That's right, Axle City!

The Treat Thief's my name.

And taking your treats is the name of my game.

[laughs]

You'll never catch me, 'cause I'm sneaky and quick.

Now watch me escape you with this clever trick.

[laughs]

- Oh, my! - She's getting away!

- She's gonna eat all our treats!

- Oh no, she's not!

Because I'm gonna catch her

with help from my number one partners,

Blaze and AJ.

- You can count on us, Officer Anna.

- Come on, police officers!

Blaze, AJ, and Anna: Let's ride!

[revs and cheers] - Good luck, officers!

[sirens wailing]

[energetic music]

- Hmm, if we're gonna catch that Treat Thief,

we've gotta figure out where she's headed.

- Hey, I know how we could figure it out.

We'll use data!

- Data, yeah!

Data is information you collect to answer a question.

- Police computer, show us the data.

Check out the data on this map.

It shows us all the places the Treat Thief has been.

First, she took cookies from Clive at his bakery.

- Then, she took chocolate from Bump Bumperman

at the chocolate shop.

- And then she took lollipops from Crusher and Pickle

at the candy store.

- So according to our data,

the Treat Thief's been heading in this direction.

Where do you think the Treat Thief's going next?

To the playground or the carnival?

The carnival, yeah!

- Follow me, police officers. To the carnival!

♪ ♪

Ah-ha! Our data was right.

Looks like the Treat Thief was just here.

- Yeah, and she's still here. Look!

- Whoa!

It can't be, it can't! They found where I am.

[gasps] Time to take all these treats

and scram!

[laughs] Whoa!

- Hubcaps! She's getting away!

Police officers--

together: Let's ride!

[jaunty music]

♪ ♪

- ♪ Ooh, I can't let them catch me ♪

♪ I can't, not now ♪

♪ I have to escape-- ooh, and I think I see how ♪

[chuckles]

♪ Oh, yes, I'll knock over boxes ♪

♪ Ooh, and I'll bowl over bricks ♪

♪ I'll make walls out of pipes and I'll get away quick ♪

Yeah! Whoo!

[suspenseful music]

♪ ♪

- Gaskets!

The Treat Thief blocked the road so we can't follow her.

- Well, we can't let her get away.

We've gotta find some way to get past those boxes.

- I've got an idea. Look!

It's a ramp.

If we drive fast enough off a ramp,

we can jump over the boxes.

- Good thinking, Officer AJ.

Let's go for it.

- To jump over those boxes,

we'll need to go a speed of six.

- Help me and Officer Anna speed up to six.

Count to six with us.

together: One, two, three, four, five,

together: Six!

[engines revving]

- Whoo-hoo! - [laughs] All right!

- We made it.

- But look up ahead!

There's a pile of bricks, and it's even bigger.

- We need to go even faster to get over the bricks.

We need to go a speed of .

- Count to with us. Start at six.

[engines revving]

together: Six, seven, eight, nine, ten,

together: !

♪ ♪

[cheers]

- Look, there's only one jump left!

- But to make it over those pipes,

we need to go the fastest speed yet,

a speed of !

- [musical car horn honking]

[cheers]

- We did it! - That's right!

Nothing's gonna stop us from catching that Treat Thief

and saving the day.

- Police officers--

- She's taken five cookies, two lollipops,

eight cotton candies, and four chocolate bars.

- Which treat has she taken the most?

Cotton candy, yeah!

Cotton candy must be her favorite type of treat.

- Then I bet I know where she's headed next.

To the cotton candy stand!

Police officers--

together: Let's ride!

[cheering]

♪ ♪

- Everyone, who wants some cotton candy?

- [roars] I do! - Zeg love cotton candy!

[dramatic music]

- ♪ Ooh, cotton candy, so fluffy and sweet ♪

♪ It's no wonder you're my favorite treat ♪

[giggles and slurps]

- Cotton candy?

- ♪ But they want it, too? ♪

♪ And I don't plan to share ♪

♪ So I'll just have to send them up in the air! ♪

[laughs]

♪ ♪

- What? - Huh?

- What? Whoa, whoa!

- [roars] - Zeg going up!

- [chuckles]

♪ So much cotton candy makes my treat pile grow ♪

[siren wails] Oh!

Officers Anna, Blaze, and AJ?

[gulps] Gotta go!

[shouting]

- Hang on, officers. Did you hear that?

- Zeg want get down! - Whoa!

- Look, up there!

[frightened shouting] - It's our friends!

- The Treat Thief must've floated them away

so she could have all the cotton candy.

- Don't you worry, Monster Machines.

We'll get you down!

- To save our friends,

we need a rescue vehicle that can fly us into the sky!

We need a police helicopter!

- Yeah, let's get building.

First, we need the rotor blades.

When the blades spin,

they push the air down so the helicopter goes up.

To make the rotor blades, say, "Rotor blades."

Rotor blades!

Next, we need the tail.

It helps the helicopter turn and stay steady when it flies.

To make the tail, say, "Tail."

Tail!

Last, we need skids for landing safely.

To make the skids, say, "Skids."

Skids!

♪ ♪

Yeah, I'm a police helicopter

Monster Machine!

[rotors whirring]

- Whoa! - Nice flying, Officer Blaze!

- Thanks!

Now it's time to get up there and rescue our friends!

- All right!

- Good luck, officers!

- Whoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

- [roars] Help!

- That sounds like Stripes!

- He must be somewhere in all these clouds.

Help us look for him.

When you see Stripes the tiger truck,

say, "Stripes."

- [frightened shouting]

- Stripes! - Whoa!

- I got you, Stripes!

- Oh, boy!Whoa!

Whoa![laughs]

[roars]Thanks!

- Way to go, Officer Blaze!

- Whoa! Help!

- That sounds like Watts. - Hang on, Watts, we're coming!

♪ ♪

Help us look for Watts.

She's the pink truck with electric tires.

When you see Watts, say, "Watts."

- [frightened shouting]

- Watts! - Whoa, whoa, whoa!

♪ ♪

Yeah! Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- All right! - You did it!

- Thanks, Helicopter Blaze!

- Now there's just one friend left to rescue.

- Zeg!

- Don't worry, Zeg, our police helicopter is on the way.

♪ ♪

- Help us look for Zeg, the dinosaur truck.

When you see Zeg, say, "Zeg."

Zeg! - That me!

[whimpers] And that bad!

Zeg!

- Helicopter Blaze to the rescue!

♪ ♪

- Yay! Getting rescued is fun!

Zeg!

- All right! - Hooray!

Thanks for rescuing us, Blaze!

- You're welcome, guys.

- Whoo!

Nice work, Officer Blaze!

- Thanks, Officer Anna!

Now come on, we better get moving.

We've got a Treat Thief to catch.

- Yeah!

Time for us to put a stop to her treat-taking

once and for all!

- Police officers--

together: Let's ride!

- [cheers] - Go get 'em!

- Bye, officers!

♪ ♪

[jaunty music]

[humming] ♪ Yum, yum ♪

♪ ♪

♪ Ooh, yes, I did it! I got them ♪

♪ Every last treat! ♪

♪ And now that I'm home, it's time to eat ♪

[laughs]

- [musical car horn honking] Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- ♪ Uh-oh. They want my treats? ♪

♪ [gasps] But I can't let them take 'em ♪

[huffs] Oh!

♪ Good thing this mountain has bears ♪

♪ I'll just wake 'em ♪

[plays trumpet shrilly] [giggles]

[yawning]

[growling]

♪ ♪

- The Treat Thief's house must be at the top of this mountain.

- We're finally gonna get all those desserts back

just so long as we don't run into any--

[bears growling] [yelps]

together: Bears?

[growling]

- This way, Officer Anna!

- Whoa, whoa, whoa!

[growling]

- Whoa-oa!

[energetic music]

- Oh, man.

The Treat Thief woke up all those bears.

- I just wish we knew how to make them fall asleep again.

- Hey, I know how we can figure it out.

Police computer, show us the data.

Check it out.

The data on this chart shows us all the things

that make bears sleepy.

- Let's look at the red bear's row.

There's only one check mark in his row.

The stuffed animal, yeah.

That means a stuffed animal

will make the red bear fall asleep.

[growling]

[growls and laughs]

- Good thing police officers always come prepared.

[grunts]

[peaceful music]

- Huh?

[yawns and snores]

- Yeah! - It worked!

- That stuffed animal made the red bear go back to sleep.

- This way, police officers.

[upbeat music]

- [growling] - Uh-oh!

- [roars] - It's the brown bear!

- [roars]

- Quick, let's look at the data

to see what makes this bear sleepy.

There's only one check mark in the brown bear's row.

Is it under the picture of a stuffed animal

The pillow, right!

That means the brown bear needs a pillow to fall asleep.

- [growls] - One pillow, coming up!

[peaceful music]

[gasps excitedly]

We're almost at the top of the mountain!

- Yup! We've just gotta get past--

- [growls] - The yellow bear.

- [laughs]

- [growls and chuckles]

- [humming]

- It's all on my plate, every last treat,

and now, finally, it's time to eat.

[cheers and giggles]

- [gasps] She's about to start eating!

- Then we've gotta get those treats back fast!

- Activating police car blazing speed!

[doors whir]

[rockets whoosh]

To give me and Officer Anna blazing speed,

say, "Let's Blaze!"

together: Let's blaze!

[energetic music]

♪ ♪

- Ahh!

- [musical car horn honking] Whoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

We did it! - Yee-haw!

- Great!

- Ahh--

Huh?

♪ My treats! Where'd they go? ♪

♪ Oh, no, no, no! ♪

Whoa!

[downbeat jaunty music]

[groans]

- Sorry, Treat Thief, but your dessert-stealing days are over!

- But without those sweets, what will I munch?

All those treats were going to be my l-l-lunch! [cries]

Anna, Blaze, and AJ: Your lunch?

- But Treat Thief, you shouldn't eat treats for lunch.

- Yeah, you'll get a big tummy ache.

- But you'll feel good if you eat something healthy,

like an apple!

- [chomps] Mm-mm!

[gasps] It's true, you were right,

and boy, was I wrong.

Eating healthy feels great!

I feel energized and strong!

- Hooray! - Good for you!

- That's the right way to eat.

- And from now on, I promise I won't take another treat.

- Now let's return what you've taken.

- Together, side-by-side.

- What do you say, Treat Thief?

- I say, police officers--

together: Let's ride!

[upbeat music]

[cheering]
