- Help us look for him.

- Heya, Darington!

We're so excited to see your stunt show today!

- You sure are brave to do those big loops

and jumps all by yourself.

- Ah! But that's just it.

For today's show, I won't be doing them alone.

We can help you rescue Darington.

Acceleration is when you go one speed,

and then you speed up to go faster.

- To jump over the traffic,

we need to accelerate to a speed of six.

We need to get away from those porcupines

before they pop our tires!

She's swinging on that vine to get over the mud puddle.

- Now the porcupines are trying.

There were seven porcupines chasing us,

but three of them landed in the mud.

- How are we gonna get away from the porcupines now?

Look! Now the porcupines are trying.

But some of them are spinning out of control.

There were four porcupines chasing us,

but three of them just fell.

- But this last porcupine's the prickliest one in the pack!

- How will we get away from him?

we're gonna have to speed up and go really fast.

I'm gonna do the stunt.

- Wow, Crusher!

I didn't know you were brave enough

to bounce off a trampoline

into a pool full of yogurt!

- It's Darington. Just up ahead!

The hot dog balloon's taking Darington out over the water.

- To catch up, we'll need something

that can take us across the water fast!

A hydroplane speed boat!

It's really light and has two powerful engines

so it can zoom on top of the water super fast.

- Come on. Let's build one!

First, let's make the planing hull.

It's really light so our boat can glide

on the top of the water.

Now let's build the propeller.

When the propeller spins, it pushes the boat forward.

Last, we need two powerful engines

so our boat goes really fast.

I'm a hydroplane speedboat Monster Machine!

- Hmm... that balloon is flying really high.

We've gotta find some way to get up there

so we can save him.

I think Stunt Kitty has an idea!

Stunt Kitty's using a parachute like a kite

to fly up into the air.

- Yeah! She's parasailing!

- Whoo-hoo!

- Stunt Kitty, you're here!

Stunt Kitty's trying to save Darington,

but she's not flying high enough to reach him.

I know how we can make her parachute go higher.

We just have to make our boat go faster.

When I speed up,

we've gotta speed up to go even faster.
