♪ Gimme, gimme, gimme some speed ♪

♪ Go, go ♪

♪ Yeah, let's blaze ♪

[rock music]

♪ ♪

- Electric charge!

- Zeg!

- Woo-hoo!

All right!

- Nice one, Blaze.

- Hang on, everyone. Look over there!

[distant applause] - Whoa.

- I wonder what it is!

- Come on, let's go over and check it out.

[rock music]

- Whoa. - Whoa.

- Wow. - So much building!

- I wonder what they're making.

- Ladies and gentle-trucks,

welcome to the biggest building competition in all the world.

I'm your host, Betty Blueprint.

And as you can see, these construction crews

are hard at work, making the biggest towers they can.

And whichever crew builds the tallest tower

will be our winner!

It's...

♪ The Construction Contest ♪

- Whoa!

I wish we could be in a Construction Contest.

- Ooh ooh! Same, too!

- Yeah, we love building things.

- Well, then...

Why don't we become a construction crew

and join the contest?

- Yeah!

You can transform into building machines

and make a tower of our very own.

- Ooh! Zeg want to be

dump truck!

Dump truck have big hopper to carry things--

for dumping!

To give Zeg hopper,

say "hopper"!

Hopper!

[laughs]

Zeg like.

- Oh, I know.

Let's make me a welding torch.

Welding torches melt pieces of metal,

so that they stick together.

To make a welding torch,

say "welding torch"!

Welding torch!

Oh, yeah.

- Now, it's my turn.

Let's make me a construction machine with

super lifting power.

I'll be...

a crane.

Cranes have long telescoping booms

to lift and move heavy things.

To make the telescoping boom,

say, "telescoping boom."

Telescoping boom!

- [laughs] All right!

We're the construction crew--

all: Monster Machines!

[upbeat music]

- Woo-hoo! - Yeah we are.

- Come on, construction crew.

Let's get to work and build that tower.

[engines roar]

- [strained groan]

- Okay, Crusher.

Here are the pieces we need to build our tower.

Crusher?

- [giggles] Over here, Pickle.

I'm gonna pick up those pieces with this magnet crane.

- Um, Crusher,

are you sure you know how to use a magnet crane?

- [scoffs] How hard can it be?

You just push this button.

Or... this one.

Maybe this one.

Uh...this one?

Nah, it's probably this one.

This one--no, wait.

This one.

- [screams]

[descending music]

[yells]

- Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.

- Where are we?

- I don't know, but it looks like

we're far away from the contest.

- Aw! But Zeg want to make tower.

- It's okay, big fella.

We may be far away,

but that doesn't mean we're giving up.

- Yeah, if we hurry, we can still

make it back to that contest.

- And build the biggest tower anyone's ever seen.

- All right. - Let's do it.

- Construction Contest, here we come.

[upbeat music]

♪ ♪

- ♪ We got the power ♪

♪ Give me some speed ♪

♪ We got that vroom, vroom, vroom ♪

♪ You know we can't be b*at ♪

♪ Zip, zoom, rev it up ♪

♪ Rolling in the monster truck ♪

♪ No one's stopping us ♪

♪ Oh, no, no, no ♪

♪ We got the power ♪

♪ Give me some speed ♪

♪ We got that vroom vroom vroom ♪

♪ You know we can't be b*at ♪

♪ We got the power ♪

♪ Power, ohh ♪

♪ Vroom, vroom, vroom ♪

♪ We got it, one, two, three ♪

♪ Let's go ♪

[engines rev]

[crowd cheering]

- ♪ Me and Crusher, working together ♪

♪ Building a tower ♪

- Whoa, whoa, stand back, Pickle.

I'm doing all the building around here.

- Oh, okay.

Well, then, maybe I can help by handing you your tools.

- Okay, sure.

Give me a hammer.

- One hammer, coming up.

Here's...

a toothbrush hammer.

- Toothbrush hammer?

Ew, Pickle, I can't use a toothbrush hammer.

Try a different one.

- You got it.

Here's...

a hot dog hammer!

- A hot dog hammer?

No, Pickle, I can't use that either.

Just give me a plain old hammer.

Like this one.

- Oh, good thinking, Crusher.

You can build lots of stuff with that banana hammer.

- Banana hammer?

Ooh, ah, ow!

Ugh.

- [snores]

[engines roar] - Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

- All right!

- [grunts]

[laughs]

- Zeg wonder what that sound.

- Eh, it's probably nothing.

- Baa!

- Or it's that giant bighorn!

- [grunts]

- Ooh!

- Oh!

[thrilling music]

- Whoa!

- Whew, that giant bighorn sure loves bumping.

- [laughs]

- If we're gonna get away,

we've gotta find some way to make him go back to sleep.

- Hey, I know.

What if we build him a giant bed?

- Yeah, and to make it the right size,

we just need to know three things.

His length, width and height.

- Check it out.

Length is how long something is.

Width is how wide something is, from side to side.

And height is how tall something is.

- Come on, let's measure.

- [laughs]

- First, let's measure the bighorn's length.

Count with me.

One,

two,

three,

four,

five!

- [laughs]

- Now, let's figure out

how wide the bighorn is from side to side.

- Yeah, let's measure his width.

Count with me.

One,

two,

three,

four.

- [happily grunts]

- Great!

Now we just need one more measurement.

Let's measure the bighorn's height.

- Count with me.

One,

two,

three,

four.

- Now we know.

We need a bed that can fit a bighorn with a

length of five,

a width of four,

and a height of four.

- Come on, crew.

Let's get building.

[rock music]

♪ ♪

- That's ready!

- [laughs]

- And here comes the bighorn.

- [grunts]

- Look, he's laying down.

- [yawns]

- [laughs] Bighorn yawning!

- He's going back to sleep!

- [snores]

- We did it,

our bed's a perfect fit.

- All right! - Whoo-hoo!

- Great job, construction crew.

- Now let's keep moving,

so we can get to that contest.

[engines revving]

- Nighty night, bighorn.

[upbeat music]

♪ ♪

- ♪ Length, width, height ♪

♪ Length, width, height ♪

♪ How long it is, from front to back ♪

♪ Width, how wide it is ♪

♪ From side to side ♪

♪ How tall it is ♪

♪ From top to bottom ♪

♪ Measured in inches ♪

♪ Now you got 'em ♪

♪ Length, width, height ♪

♪ Whoa, whoa, whoa, ♪

♪ Length, width, height ♪

♪ From the front on to the sides ♪

♪ You got to measure ♪

♪ Length, width, height length, width, height ♪

[engines rev]

[cheers and applause]

- Wow, these towers keep getting taller.

The only question is,

which group will build the tallest tower,

and be our construction contest champions?

- [laughs] That's totally gonna be us, Pickle.

Quick, give me a screwdriver.

- You got it, Crusher.

Here's...

a crayon screwdriver.

- A crayon screwdriver?

No!

Hand me another one.

- All righty then.

How about this...

spaghetti screwdriver.

- Spaghetti screwdriver?

Ew, Pickle, I just want a regular screwdriver.

- Oh, you mean like this?

- Finally, a screwdriver.

- Screwdriver?

- Oh, oops.

I thought you said shoe-driver.

- Shoe driver?

[playful music]

[engines revving]

- Hey, check it out.

A river.

- Ooh, water move fast.

- Yeah, and I bet if we ride that fast-moving water,

we can get back to the contest even quicker.

- Then come on, construction crew, let's build a boat.

[upbeat music]

♪ ♪

[group cheers]

Nice building, crew.

- Yeah. With this boat, we'll be back

at the contest extra fast.

[sudden tone]

- What was that?

- Uh-oh, water have big rocks.

- Hang on, everyone.

This ride's about to get funky.

[exciting music]

- Whoa! - Whoa!

[group yells]

- Whew.

- Oh no, look!

Those rocky rapids made three big holes in our boat.

And it's filling with water.

- Then, we gotta fix those holes,

before our boat sinks.

- [grunt]

- Hey, look!

It's a little beaver.

- He wants to help us.

- [chattering teeth]

- Ooh, what beaver doing?

- I think he's making pieces we can use to fix our boat.

- [grunt]

- Whoa!

- Thanks, little beaver!

- Now, we just have to figure out which piece we need.

- To fix the first hole in our boat,

we need a piece that looks like this.

- Which piece is the same shape?

The brown one, yeah!

[triumphant music]

- Yeah!

- Piece go in hole.

- Now, let's see if we can fix this next hole.

- Hey, beaver, can you help us again?

- Uh-huh!

[teeth chattering]

- All right, thanks beaver.

- To fix the hole,

we need a piece that looks like this.

Which piece is the same shape?

- The red one, right!

[triumphant music]

- [cheers] - It worked!

- Now, we just need to fix this last hole.

- We better hurry,

our boat can't take much more water.

- Okay, beaver. You know what to do.

[teeth chattering]

- To fix the last hole,

we need a piece that looks like this.

- Which piece is the same shape?

The orange one, yeah.

[triumphant music]

- [cheers]

- Our boat's fixed.

- Bye, bye little beaver.

- Thanks for your help.

- Bye!

[anthemic music]

- Wow, these construction crews are

really taking this competition to--

new heights. [laughs]

But, of course,

only the crew with the tallest tower can win.

- [laughs] I really want to make

the tallest tower.

Quick, Pickle,

hand me a wrench.

- You got it.

Here's...

a taco wrench.

- A taco wrench?

Yuck, I can't use that.

Give me a different wrench.

- Different wrench, coming up.

It's a peanut butter and jelly wrench!

- Peanut butter and jelly wrench? No!

Don't you have just a plain, ordinary wrench?

- You mean like this wrench?

- Yes, finally,

a wrench I can use.

- Oh yeah,

it's super easy to use a bubble gum wrench.

- A bubble gum wrench?

[defeated music]

[engines rev]

[cheers]

- Come on, crew.

This way to the construction contest--

- Uh oh.

- How are we supposed to get down this big snowy hill?

- I know.

We can build sleds to ride down the hill.

- Yeah, we just have to

make sleds that are long enough for us to fit.

Sleds with a length of

four meters.

- Hey Zeg, got any pieces that are four meters?

- Zeg think so.

- Great. Now come on, let's measure.

Which piece has a length of four meters?

- The blue one, yeah.

It goes to the number four on our ruler.

- Come on crew, let's build some sleds.

[rock music]

♪ ♪

- All right! It's sledding time.

- Whoo-hoo!

[cheers]

♪ ♪

[engines rev]

- Nice sledding, crew.

- Uh oh.

Now look what's up ahead.

Big prickly cactuses made out of ice.

- They're ice cactuses.

- Hmm.

We can't drive through prickly ice cactuses,

so let's build something to help us get over them.

- Yeah, we can make

stilts!

Stilts that are five meters tall.

- Dump truck save!

- Now let's measure.

Which piece has a height of five meters?

- The red one, right.

- Come on, crew.

Let's build some stilts.

[rock music]

♪ ♪

- It's working.

- We're going over the prickly ice cactuses.

♪ ♪

- We made it!

- And look, there it is,

the construction contest!

- Whoa! - We're so close.

- But there's no way for us to drive there.

- Well, then,

our only chance is to build wings,

and fly to the contest.

- Yeah, we just need wings with the width of

eight meters.

- Look carefully,

which piece has a width of eight meters?

The orange one, yeah!

[rock music]

♪ ♪

- Come on crew, let's fly.

[engines roar]

♪ ♪

- Dump truck fly!

- Construction contest,

here we come!

[cheers]

- Well, folks,

there's still no sign of Blaze and his construction crew.

I guess we'll just never know if--

- [horn honking] - Wait a second,

I don't believe it.

They're flying back to the contest.

[cheers and applause]

That's what I call making an entrance!

Now, all they have to do is build a tower,

before the contest ends, which is in--

seconds!

- [gasps] - Only seconds left?

- Uh-oh,

that not a lot.

- Don't worry, crew.

I've got an idea how we can build our tower super-fast.

We'll use Blazing Speed!

[engine roars]

- [laughs] - Yeah!

Let's do it.

- To give us Blazing Speed,

say "let's blaze!"

- Let's blaze!

[rock music]

♪ ♪

[cheers and applause]

- And time's up! [buzzer blares]

Now, let's see which construction crew

built the tallest tower.

- Ooh, those are tall.

And that one's even taller.

Hmm...this one's unusual.

It's also the tallest tower yet.

- [laughs] I knew it, Pickle.

We're gonna win.

- Yep, ours is the tallest tower.

Except for that one.

[triumphant music]

- We have a winner, folks.

The champions of the contest are

Blaze and his construction crew!

[cheers and applause]

- Congratulations, crew!

I knew we could do it.

- To celebrate,

why don't we build one last thing?

- Yeah.

- Hey, everybody.

What do you say we work together, and make--

a racetrack.

[cheers]

[rock music]
