"Because speckle and his friends
had gotten together to play,

"But soon they realized

"That none of them had brought
a game or a toy to play with.

"They wondered,
what were they going to do?

"Until speckle said they could
use their imaginations

"And make their own toys.

"That was a great idea!

"And off they went to see
what toys they could create.

"Reba was so inspired,

"She went right out
and gathered acorns

"Just the right size
for a game of jacks.

"Working together,
darnell and luna made

"An extra-long daisy chain
to use as a jump rope.

"Then ravi and speckle found
that a soft, plastic lid

"Was perfect
for throwing through the air

"Like a flying disc.

"Now the g*ng had
a brand-new question:

Which wonderful homemade toy
should they play with first?"

a story club!

Yeah! A story club!

It's a club where
we all get together

each other stories.

But we already

Flo's right.
We do.

That's not

A club has to have a name.

How about

are, uh--

Their names
are flo and zoe.

It's too loud!

other places, norville?!

Plenty! Don't worry
about a thing!

needs a roof.

from the playground

All: sprinklers!

Aah!

Norville,
do you know
of any other places?

You know, maybe we're
being just a little
too picky here.

It seems like one of
these places could work.

The first was too loud.

The second
was too windy.

And the last
was too wet.

They're right, norville.
We need a different place.

I got an idea.

There's that game room
down by the laundry.

I know that room.
It's very quiet.

And very dry.

And not
too windy.

And it has plenty
of space to store food.

[Licks lips]

It's perfect.

But that--that place
is no good.

I--i won't be able to--

Are you kidding?

The game room
sounds wonderful.

Zoe: great idea,
clifford.

But what about
the courtyard?

Well, we could try
by the birdbath.

We tried
the courtyard.

I think
the game room
would be better.

Agreed?

Well, then i--
I have to tell
you something.

I don't want
to be in your club.

Oh, he just
doesn't want
to be in the club

Because
he's not choosing
the clubhouse.

Hey, that's not fair.
I like clifford's idea.

So do i.

Me, too.

Hey, you know what?
That's just great.

I hope that you
have a lot of fun
in your silly club.

Norville!

Nor--
it's ok, clifford.

Let him go.

If he's only
going to be happy
if he gets his way,

Then we're
better off without him.

Oh...i guess so.

This is great,
clifford.

It's delicious.

[Gulps] arrgghh.

Now, who's going
to tell the first story?

Hmm...gee,

Norville's usually
the first one
to tell a story.

Yeah. He does know
a lot of them.

I wish he was
still in the club.

But norville said
he didn't want to be
in the club anymore.

I don't understand.

He sure acted
like he wanted
to be in the club...

Until we decided
to come down here.

Maybe he'll
change his mind if
we go talk to him about it.

Hmm. What do you think?

All: sure! Yeah!

Oh, it'll be great.

I mean, all
norville has to do

Is fly right in, and--

Oh--fly...right...
In...and...

Uh-oh.

That's the problem.

That's why norville
wouldn't join.

Why?

There's
no way for him
to fly in here.

Ohh! I had no idea.

Why didn't
he say something?

Oh, I think he tried.

But I don't think
