[Peter]
The tale of Old Brown's New Roost.

[rabbits and squirrels hollering]

[Benjamin] Hurray!

Woo-hoo!

It's really great to have you here, Brian.

You're going to fit right in.

Hey, Lily, you like facts?

Whoo!

Did you know that Brian is
the first owl ever

to be welcomed into the squirrel camp?

Okay, so maybe it's because
he's not a real owl.

Maybe it's that he's made of wood.

-Maybe he's--
-An excuse for a party?

[all laughing]

Who needs an excuse?

Hey, what do you say
we move this party to the trampoline?

[squealing]

Felix. Little help, please.

[hollering]

Whee!

Whee!

Be careful. That scare-owl's made of pine.

It's kind of…

[yelling]

…fragile.

Whoops.

[distant cacophony]

Oh! I am never going to get to sleep
with this calamitous cacophony.

Enough is enough.

[growling]

[frantic noises]

Talk to me, Brian. Talk to me.

Uh, Nutkin. He couldn't talk before.

You know, he's made of wood.

Good point. Oh, well, easy come, easy go.

Wait. I can glue him back together.
Just in case pocket, just in case.

[owl hooting]

[Peter] Oh, no!

Peter, shush. Can't you see
Lily's concentrating?

But look! Old Brown!

-[Old Brown] Ha ha!
-[exclaims in fear]

[Old Brown chuckling]

Hello?

-[grunting]
-[bottles tinkling]

I've had it with your rollicking racket!

I'm moving. Goodbye forever.

And good riddance!

Did I hear that right?

Is Old Brown really leaving for good?

What? What's going on?

His hollow looks empty.
I can't see Old Brown anywhere.

He really is gone.

This day will go down in squirrel history,

the day the owl left for good.

There's only one way to mark
this most special of events.

Party!

[all laughing]

Yay!

[laughing]

Brian! We did it!

All this excitement has made me hungry.

How about we celebrate Old Brown leaving

with some nice fresh carrots?

-Mmm
-Let's hop to it.

It'll be nice not having to worry
about Old Brown anymore.

I suppose so. But, in a way,

-I'll kind of miss the grumpy old--
-Owl!

That's what I was going to say Benjamin,

No. Owl, over there, on the shed.

[gasping]

Oh, no.

That's not just any owl. It's Old Brown.

What's he doing here?

Well, this is bad. Very bad.

[startled gasp]

And that's not good, either.

I find a nice, quiet new roost,
and I'm woken up again

by you raucous rabbits!

Uh, hello, Old Brown.

but we still have a little problem.

-Owl? Cats?

We lost our juicy carrots.

Is that all?

Hey, what about your
emergency supply at home?

Oh, yeah. Everyone
to my place for carrots.

What a great idea of mine.

Yeah, great idea, Benjamin.

[Peter gasps] Wait a second.

[sniffing]

-What is it, Peter?
-Looks like Old Brown's found

another place to roost.

[Benjamin] Oh, no, That's my home.

What if he never leaves?

Never say never, Benjamin. I have a plan.

Just stay really, really quiet.

Ah! What a lovely, sunny day.

[gasping]

Perfect for inventing.

[muffled mumbling]

[shushing]

Oh! Oh, tail feathers.

Ah, this is rather serious.

If that owl stays where he is,

we may have to find a new burrow.

But I've always lived here. I like it.

It's cozy. We have emergency carrots.

Oh, we've run out.

Will our new place have carrots?

You don't have to move.

We can make Old Brown leave.
I know we can.

A good rabbit never gives up.

that could get rid of owls.

something that can help, Mr. Bouncer.

Old Brown doesn't like loud noises,
I know that for a fact.

It will make him leave again. Perfect.

Now, all we need is a way
to get it close enough.

But once you wake him up,
then he'll chase us again.

Not if he can't see us.

Mr. Bouncer, we're going to need to borrow
a few more of your inventions.

He'll never see us under here.

All set. Be careful, everyone.
