(dramatic rock music)

(whip smacking) - Come on you useless animal.

- Stay still Alvar.

(Alvar growls)

(whip cracks as cart wheels creak)

- Should we take them?

- [William] No, not yet.

We'll see what they're up to first.

- I'll go ahead and scout.

Come on Alvar.

(Alvar growls)

(hooves clop and whip smacks)

(leaves rustle)

(magical chime)

- Kalem.

- You're facing a new challenge William.

One that will be difficult for you.

- So what is it this time?

- It will be different from anything you have ever done.

- Well you gotta tell me more than that.

- Don't fail me William Tell.

- Kalem!

(Alvar growls)

- Shh, Alvar.

Stay here and don't make a noise.

(Alvar whines)

- Now, you all love the Lord Xax don't you?

- [Crowd] Yes.

- I must be going deaf!

I can't hear you!

Do you love the Lord Xax?

- [Crowd] Yes!

- Good.

'Cause every time you pass this statue,

you're gonna kneel down and tell him!

You, kneel down here.

- Me?

- Yeah you!

- Agh!

- Now,

see if you can remember this.

All praise to you Lord Xax.

Who guides us forward

and meets our every need.

I am proud to be your servant.

(smack) Go on!

- All praise to you Lord Xax.

Who guides us forward

and meet sour every need.

We are proud to be your servants.

- The image net my lord.

I dedicate it to you.

- Ah!

Ahh.

- Alvar, what is it?

(Alvar whines)

- Go on!

- All praise to you Lord Xax,

who guides us forward

and meets our every need.

I am proud to be your servant.

- Stay here boy.

- Finding the right type of quartz was the key.

Manipulating it to receive transmissions

was mere expertise.

- Excellent yes.

- With a statue of you in every village.

- My subjects

will be able to worship me every day.

- Or suffer the consequences.

(gentle pipe music)

- Ah!

- Good morning young miss.

- Good morning.

- Would you step this way?

What's your name?

- Lalia.

- Kneel.

- Why?

- To pay your respects to Xax,

your lord and master.

- I don't have a lord and master

and if I did it wouldn't be Xax.

- [Guard] That's treason!

- Ugh, get your hands off me!

Let me go!

- Now!

Repeat after me.

All praise to you, Lord Xax!

- Never.

Xax is a m*rder*r.

I don't care if you k*ll me.

I'll never bow down before Xax.

- You are under arrest, foolish woman.

- She'll go to the mines.

- No.

No I want her brought here.

I only want to show her that she's

completely wrong about me Kreel, that's all.

(birds chirping and water flowing)

- I wonder what's keeping them.

- Don't worry princess.

I'm sure they'll be fine.

- They should have come back by now.

Perhaps they've been caught by warriors.

(turkey gobbles) - Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh.

A Turkey.

(turkey gobbles)

It's over that way.

- Watch her.

(Drogo imitates Turkey Noises)

(dramatic string and horn music)

(Drogo imitates a turkey)

(leaves rustle)

- Shh.

(Lalia grunts)

- Oh what's the matter with you then eh?

Eh, eh,

ooh!

- Just leave me alone.

- Shut up!

- No, you shut up!

(loud punches)

- Ugh!

(punching)

- Ugh!

- [William] Are you alright?

- Of course.

Should we go?

- Right.

- Hello Xax, how's it going?

Huh?

No, no, I think you're ugly, yeah.

Huh.

So you think you're cool?

(Lord Xax grumbles) - Flynn!

- Huh!

- Come in, come inside!

Stop that!

- They can go to the mines.

- The William Tell?

- The same.

That's Alvar and this is my friend Drogo.

(Alvar barks)

What's your name?

- My name's Lalia.

- That's a pretty sounding name.

- I'll leave you here.

- Here?

- Yes, this is where I live.

- This is in the middle of nowhere.

- I like to be alone.

Goodbye Drogo.

Goodbye.

(Alvar whines)

(Drogo clears his throat)

- Right, come on.

(angelic vocal music)

(door creaks)

- Will!

- How's my princess today?

- Where've you been?

- Oh, here and there.

- [Princess Vara] What have you been doing?

- This and that.

- We rescued a woman from the warriors?

- Really?

- [Drogo] Will liked her.

- Did you?

- I don't even know her.

- [Princess Vara] So what's her name?

- I think it was Lalia or something.

- Are you gonna go and see her again?

- Enough, enough questions.

If you guys haven't got anything better to do,

why don't you go outside and help prepare supper?

Go on.

- Will.

The place is crawling with warriors.

- Yeah, we saw two put up a statue to Xax.

- They're everywhere,

we should move on.

- I think we should stick around for a few days,

see what he's up to.

- All praise to you Lord Xax.

- Who guides us nowhere!

- We are so glad

not to be your servants.

(guard clears throat) (dramatic percussion)

(Alvar pants)

(Alvar growls)

- Alvar?

What is it?

(Alvar whines)

(Alvar growls and barks)

- Shh.

(leaves rustle)

(crossbow clicks and net whirls)

(leaves rustle)

- Ugh!

Ngh!

- So,

what have we got here?

- You didn't have to do that!

- Oh it's you Drogo.

I thought it was a small furry animal.

- Let me out!

- Come on.

So why were you following me?

- I wanted to come with you.

- Maybe you should ask first,

sometimes I like to do things by myself.

- What are you doing?

- It's none of your business.

- [Village Father] Tilly!

Flynn!

- Tilly!

- They might be informers.

- No, I saw them at the statue yesterday.

They seem harmless.

- Excuse me sirs,

have you seen two children?

A boy and a girl.

- Drogo,

go tell Aruna and Leon I'll meet them back at the camp okay?

When was the last time you saw them?

- They went out to play early this morning

and they haven't been back for breakfast.

- It's not like Flynn, he likes his food.

- We thought it might have something to do with

the statue.

- They put up a

statue in the-- - Yeah I saw.

What makes you think there's a link?

Tilly and Flynn made faces at it.

If someone saw them,

it's the only thing we can think of.

(thumping)

- Here.

(Princess Vara sighs)

- Any sign?

- No.

I don't understand it.

- Well that makes three of us.

- Why would he just take off like that

without saying anything.

Without letting any of us know?

- Come on now, he must have his reasons.

Look if anyone can track him down, Drogo can.

(water trickles)

(gentle pipe music)

- I hope I haven't disturbed you.

- Disturbed me?

- So uh,

do you live near here?

Sorry uh, you want to be alone.

I'll go.

- I live here.

Welcome,

William Tell.

(soft acoustic music)

- It's beautiful.

- Thank you.

- So do you live here alone?

- I could barely live with anyone else.

- Why?

Ah sorry, I don't mean to pry.

- There was someone, once.

But he was taken away.

- Is this him?

- He was a gentle man.

A man of peace.

But he spoke out.

- Against Xax.

- I never saw him again.

His name was Brodam.

(birds chirping)

(unworldly ghost-like hums)

- Any news?

- Patience, patience.

- Something you never taught me Kreel.

- Something you refuse to learn.

Soon William Tell and his rabble

will have nowhere left to hide.

- So you left him near where this woman Lalia lives?

- Yeah.

- I'm gonna go find him.

- Aruna!

It's too dangerous to go out like that.

Your anger will bring your guard down.

- Why are you so angry?

- Because why should we have to sit around here

waiting for him,

when he goes off and...

- And what?

(Drogo sighs)

What?

- There may be perfectly sound explanation.

- Then tell me,

why is Will so anxious to stay here

when it's obvious to us all, we should move on?

(Alvar hums)

- We had a farm once, my parents and me.

Before Xax appeared.

- What happened?

- Well Xax

k*lled my parents and b*rned the farm.

- I'm so sorry.

- Nothing left but the hatred.

- That's so sad.

You should have love in your heart William Tell.

- Do you still?

- Yes.

Love is the most precious thing in life.

Have you no one special?

(William laughs)

Why is that so amusing?

- I don't know,

I just never really thought about it

at the time.

- There will be a time.

When Xax is defeated.

When you have defeated him.

- [William] So what's your solution?

Allow Lalia to be captured?

You're not thinking straight.

- What do you think's wrong with Will Drogo?

- I don't know, why don't you ask him?

- It's none of my business.

- Right.

- It's none of Aruna's either.

She's not keeping quiet about it.

(Alvar whines)

- Half the morning wasted while you hold hands

with a complete stranger.

- She was upset.

Look, can we just stop arguing about this and go?

- We wait around here for you,

and then you expect us to jump to it

when you snap your fingers?

- Well what do you suggest?

- Move on!

- Leave?

- Leon and I both agree.

- I see.

So what else have you two agreed

while my back's been turned?

- Will truthfully,

are we staying because of this woman?

- Of course not.

I agreed to help look for these children.

After that we'll go.

Drogo, you come with Leon and I.

- Well, what about Aruna and me?

- Aruna will explain.

You keep a good eye on the princess.

- What's going on?

- (Sighs) Men!

- What?

- William Tell, princess.

He has things on his mind.

- Nothing special about it.

Looks like a piece of stone.

- [Drogo] There's something strange about the eyes.

- Yeah, I want to get a closer look.

Here.

Leon can you give me a hand?

(magical vibrations)

- Got you.

- You're right Drogo,

we need to take a closer look,

but not here.

- Well,

there's only one thing for it.

Raugh!

- Hmm.

(statue crashes)

- Drogo, I want you to scout the area for Xax's men.

Meet us back at the shelter.

- What if they discover the seeing device Kreel?

- Well if that becomes known,

these statues will be useless for surveillance.

- Captain!

- My Lord.

- Assemble the Xaxian warriors.

We march immediately!

(axe loudly thunks)

- How is this going to help find the children?

- It's all we have Vara.

- Ah.

What have we got here?

- It's just a rock.

- It's crystal quartz.

It's very rare.

- Those are the eyes?

So what if they can see us?

(mystical vocal music)

(Kreel laughs)

- Better safe that sorry eh?

- What if they can see us through the crystal?

- If they could,

they'd be able to control everything.

- We'd have nowhere left to hide.

- We're just guessing of course,

it could be nothing.

- Still it would explain what happened to the children.

I mean if Xax saw what they did.

Leon we're gonna have to find out more about this quartz.

- Florian the jeweler.

He may be able to tell us,

he lives half a day from here.

(magical flash)

(gentle string and pipe music)

- [Lalia] You should have love in your heart William Tell.

Love is the most precious thing in life.

(magical chime)

- William.

- Kalem, don't do that.

- I could have been a troop of warriors,

you were so far away.

- Rubbish.

- Do you understand your challenge yet?

- Well I understand it,

I just don't know what to do.

- And what is it?

- Well to stop Xax and his statues

and find the children.

Isn't it?

If that is what you choose then,

that is your challenge.

- I didn't choose any of this Kalem.

- Did anyone force you to be what you are?

- You did.

You told me that only the crystal arrow

can defeat the power of Shaytana's Eye.

And that it was my destiny to find it and save Kale.

- And you accepted.

- Are you telling me I could have refused?

- Do you wish you had?

- No.

- What is on your mind

that you have such doubts?

- Nothing.

- Are you sure?

- Yes.

Look, just tell me what it is I'm supposed to be doing.

- You will know when the moment comes.

- Kalem!

(magical humming)

- [Guard] Do you know the pledge peasant?

- Pledge?

- The loyalty pledge!

- On your knees!

- Now, say after me,

all praise to you Lord Xax

who guides us forward and meets our every need.

Say it!

- How does that go again?

- All praise to you Lord Xax.

- You all praise

Lord Xax.

- No!

- What's your name?

- Can't you even remember that?

- My name

is uh,

William Tell.

(guards laugh)

- Get out of here!

- Ya mad man, go on, on your way!

(guards laughs)

- William Tell,

if only eh?

(guards laugh)

- [Flynn] What is this place?

- None of the things you need to know.

You don't work, you don't eat.

And no one's ever escaped.

If you try,

you'll be thrown in the pit and left to rot.

(sl*ve screams and whip cracks)

Got some help for you.

You, hurry up!

Come on!

Remember what I said.

(laughs)

- Don't be afraid.

I'm a prisoner just like you.

Here,

you look hungry.

I always try to keep a bit back,

but you can have it.

- Thank you.

- Thanks.

- What are your names?

- I'm Flynn.

She's my sister Tilly.

Who are you?

- My name is Brodam.

- Yes, yes, yes, yes,

that will do fine.

Yes, good, good.

Uh yeah.

(sighs)

Oh uh,

William Tell?

What are you doing here?

Supposing someone saw you?

- Leon told me that you're a friend.

- Leon?

That was a long time ago.

I'm not a rebel, you must go!

- I will.

But first, what can you tell me about this?

(mystical whirring)

- I can't help you.

- Florian I risked my life to come here.

Now look at it.

Please.

We think that Xax may be able to spy on people with it.

- Spy on people?

Mmm,

ah.

What's in this for me?

(hooves clopping)

- [Guards] Hail noble Lord Xax.

- Hm.

Who's been past here today?

- Local people my lord.

And a few travelers.

- Did they all say the pledge?

- All of them!

Happily.

(Lord Xax chuckles)

Except for one foolish peasant

who couldn't learn it.

(guards laugh)

- Are you sure he wasn't pretending?

- He was mad my lord.

- He said his name was William Tell!

(Guards and Lord Xax laugh)

- And you let him go?

(Guards laugh)

Oh you fools!

- But he was crazy my lord.

- Ugh, search everything!

Turn everything upside down

and punish these two idiots!

- [Guard] Seize them!

(dramatic music and magical whirring)

- [William] But that's a fortune,

we don't have that amount of money.

- Thought this was important to you.

(knocking)

- [Guard] Open up in the name of Lord Xax!

- They followed you.

(drums b*ating)

Get out, get out!

- I am not going anywhere

until you tell me what you know about that.

- That's blackmail.

- Those warriors are out there

because people like you

have never lifted a finger to stop them.

- Please, they'll k*ll me.

- Exactly.

So start talking.

- Uh.

- [Guard] Open up in the name of Lord Xax!

- Uh.

Yeah I have seen this kind of quartz once before.

It has a very unstable structure

so it could accommodate many different kinds of signals.

Now please go!

- Could it be used to send images?

- Yes in theory,

but that would require great ingenuity or sorcery.

In any case,

these rocks have a finite potency.

So they would have to be replaced quite regularly.

- So if we destroy the source

then it can't continue.

How do I do that?

- Um, perhaps with starsilver.

- Perhaps?

- Open up in the name of Lord Xax!

- Ah.

(creak)

(magical whirring)

(expl*si*n)

- Alright,

give me all the starsilver you have,

I'll make sure you're paid.

- But there isn't any more.

- You're lying!

- It's true,

I make it as I need it.

- A hundred Terrons to the man

who finds William Tell.

- Please, please, go!

- Where can I find the quartz?

- [Florian] Please!

- Where?

- There's only one place.

The Cloudy Mountains.

Now please,

go please!

(loud knocking)

- Tilly, don't cry please.

- What's wrong?

- We're never going to get out of here,

we're never gonna see our mother and father again ever.

- Of course you will.

- No we won't, we'll die here.

- Listen,

calm yourself and listen.

(whip cr*ck)

Ever since I got here,

I've been digging a tunnel to escape.

I'm going tonight and I'll take you with me.

- Will you?

- But it's risky.

You know what'll happen if we're caught.

- The pit can't be much worse than this.

What do you say Flynn?

- We'll go.

- Lalia,

you gotta come with me, it's not safe for you here.

- What are you talking about?

- Xax is combing the countryside for you.

Come on, grab your stuff and let's go.

- I can't leave.

- No, you don't understand.

It's only a matter of time before he finds you.

- Then I'll just have to take my chance.

- No Lalia, you don't have to.

I can protect you.

- I can't leave William.

- But why?

You can make another home.

- It's not that.

- Then what is it?

- What if he comes back

and finds me gone?

- Who?

- Brodam.

- Brodam is dead.

- What?

How do you know?

- I don't, not exactly but--

- Then why did you say it?

How could you say such a cruel thing.

- I'm sorry.

But Lalia, I want to save you.

And you must know in your heart of hearts

that if Xax took Brodam all that time ago--

- Don't.

Don't say it.

I know,

I know he's dead.

But you didn't have to k*ll my dream as well.

- Look I'm sorry.

- I should never have let him go out alone.

- Should Drogo go and look for him?

- It's too dangerous.

- Perhaps he felt the need to go visiting?

- You mean Lalia?

He would never leave us would he?

- If he's in love with her, who knows.

(snoring)

(scraping)

- Be careful it's steep.

(Alvar whines)

(Alvar barks)

- Will!

- Thank the powers.

I'd thought they got you.

- Well I'm sorry I'm late,

I had to make a bit of a detour.

Everyone,

this is Lalia.

She's been hunted by Xax,

so I've asked her to join us.

It's her only chance for survival.

(Alvar groans)

- Are you mad?

- What?

- You bring a complete stranger,

without any warning

and then you announce that she's joining us?

- Well I'm sorry,

there wasn't enough time to ask you.

You've seen the warriors out there.

- Exactly,

how do we know she's not a spy?

- She's not a spy.

- And you know because she told you?

- Lalia,

forgive me, I have nothing whatever against you

but Aruna's right.

You can't do this Will.

To whom's your first loyalty?

You should have at least given us a chance to vote.

- But I told you. - He's right.

I can see that my presence is dividing you.

I'm sorry.

I'll go.

- Lalia, no.

- No, don't go.

- Vara!

(Alvar groans)

- Oh anyone can see she's not a spy Aruna.

Look, we can't get Xax get her.

I vote she stays.

- Well I vote she goes.

- Well,

does anybody else want Lalia to leave?

- I'm sorry Will.

- Drogo?

Three to two.

(Aruna sighs)

(Alvar whines)

- Keep going, you're nearly there.

- I can see light, we're there.

- Careful Tilly.

- Go.

- Brodam!

(Guard chuckles)

- The jeweler has talked my lord.

They're heading towards the Cloudy Mountains.

- Good.

And the woman?

Is she with Tell?

- Nevermind the woman.

Think of the mine.

So, Tell has discovered our secret.

If we lose the quartz supply,

then the image net goes with it.

- Don't worry Kreel.

We can cut them off with a forced march

and then crush them like insects.

(laughs)

- We might as well stop here for a while.

- But we haven't found the children yet.

- We'll find them in the mine.

- [Aruna] How do you know?

- [Will] It's just a feeling I have.

- You've been having a lot of those lately.

- When we do get to the mine,

how are we gonna set fire to it?

- We'll have to work that out when we get there.

Mines are full of things that can start fires.

- In other words, we don't have a plan!

- We can't have a plan until we know more.

- We can't operate like this Will.

You're not thinking straight.

- It's her.

Ever since you met that woman.

- That's ridiculous.

- Is it?

Ask yourself Will,

if your feelings for her clouded your judgment,

that could put us all in danger.

- So what's your solution?

Allow Lalia to be captured?

Let Xax put his statues up everywhere?

Maybe you're not thinking straight.

- Your friends are still unhappy with my being here.

- They'll get over it.

(Alvar whines)

- He's found something.

What is it Alvar?

- [Drogo] It's the little girl's doll.

- [Will] Let me see?

- Alvar found it.

- Maybe my feelings aren't wrong after all.

(wind howls)

(hooves clopping)

- They must come through here.

Captain deploy the men.

And whatever happens,

no harm must come to the woman.

(Ghostly wind)

(mystical pipe music)

(leaves rustle)

- Where are we going anyway?

- Shh, let's stay together.

- This is boring.

- Where's Tell and the woman?

- Here.

Sorry it isn't armfulls.

(twig snaps)

(dramatic pipe music)

(crowsbow twangs)

- Agh!

- Ah!

(William and guard grunt)

- Doh!

- Geh!

- Ah!

Ah.

(Lalia gasps)

- Ah! - Argh!

(Lalia and Guard grunt)

- Is he dead?

- I hope not.

I'd hate to be the one that tells

Lord Xax you k*lled him.

- You wouldn't dare.

- Let's just get the girl back first.

She's the one he's interested in after all.

- Ugh!

(Guard laughs)

- [Guard] Come on!

(flash)

- William?

William,

William!

- What?

- Praise be to Jomanda,

I thought you might be dead.

- Where are the others?

- Hiding.

We heard screams,

so Alvar and I circled around

to find out what was happening

and I found you lying here.

Where's Lalia?

- Xax's men have her!

I have to find her.

- It's too late Will.

Xax is gone now.

(Ghostly wind)

- You chose wrong when you chose me Kalem.

Save the kingdom,

I can't even save the woman I love.

- Love?

- What else can it be?

I overrule my companions,

I let my guard down,

I'm diverted from my quest.

- Learning to love is never easy.

- Well what do I do?

My heart tells me to go after Lalia.

But my head tells me

I have a duty to destroy the mine.

Now what do I do?

- That is for you to decide William Tell.

- Help me!

Kalem use your powers and help me!

(sighs)

- I'm sorry about Lalia.

- We all are.

- Let's go,

to the Cloudy Mountains.

(birds chirping)

- The girl is a distraction,

execute her and get after Tell.

- No!

She is a woman worthy of my affections,

and she will learn to love me in time.

- Has it not occurred to you

that she's already in love with someone else.

- Tell?

- [Kreel] Who else?

He rescued her.

Shouldn't she have the privilege of watching him die?

- You stay with Drogo and Vara.

Leon and I will search for the mine.

- Do you think Vara will be safe?

- She'll have Aruna and Alvar.

I think we've lost the warriors for now.

- Xax will be expecting us to go to the mine.

The mountains will be crawling with his men.

- A horse!

- Maybe we haven't shaken them off.

(Alvar whines)

(hooves clop)

(Florian mumbles)

- Halt!

- Don't sh**t, I'm unarmed!

- Florian?

- (sighs) Thank the powers I found you.

I'm sorry.

I was forced to betray you.

They know where you're going.

I made you this.

Starsilver.

Sprinkle it on the walls of the mine.

It'll seek out the quartz

and set fire to the mine.

But be careful,

after you spread it,

you won't have long to escape.

- Thank you.

You see,

you do have some rebel in you after all.

- No,

you're the brave one.

Remember,

once you apply the starsilver, get out as soon as you can!

- Now all we have to do is find the mine.

(twigs snap)

- Shh!

- Please don't sh**t!

- Are you Tilly and Flynn?

- Please don't take us back to the mine.

- We're here to take you home now.

- But first,

can you show us the way to the mine?

- Yeah.

(Wind howls with enchanted vocals)

- Hello comrade.

(spits loudly)

- [William] Is there any other way in?

- Only the tunnel.

- But they found that.

Oh!

- [Leon] Maybe we can draw the guard away.

(hooves clopping)

- That's our way in.

(ghostly whoosh)

(splashing)

- Who's in charge here?

- I am.

Who are you?

- I'm Captain Ren of the Xaxian guard.

You're being inspected today by Lord Xax.

- I take my orders direct from Lord Xax.

I've never heard of you.

- Nor I, you.

Though I have heard your security's not as it should be.

Allowing two small children to escape.

Lord Xax will not be amused if he should find out.

- Does he uh,

have to know Captain?

- Perhaps not.

If everything else is in order.

Now smarten up!

You stay here with the children,

and tell me when Lord Xax approaches.

- Come on!

- It's alright.

It's alright.

- Line the prisoners up outside for Lord Xax to inspect.

- Yes of course Captain Ren.

- Guards!

Get everybody out of the mine!

Out!

Come on!

- Get out. - Come on.

Come on.

(dramatic music)

(crossbow twangs)

(thunk and roaring flames)

- Xax, and he's got Lalia with him.

- Follow my lead.

- This facility is a disgrace!

And a dent in Lord Xax's personal safety.

Clear the area!

(expl*si*n)

Run!

Everybody run!

Before it explodes!

(crowd screams)

- Go back my Lord, back!

The mine's been set on fire, it's about to explode!

- Ahh!

- You must get to safety!

Go back!

(Lalia whimpers)

(crossbow twangs)

- Oh!

- Lalia!

- Will!

- I thought I'd never see you again.

They're scattered,

we should be safe to join the others.

- No, we can't go yet.

- Why not?

- The man who helped us is still in there.

- [Tilly] He must be in the pit.

- Where is it?

- Will there's no time.

- We can't let him burn to death.

- Will!

- Hold this!

(wind howls)

Hello!

- Help, down here!

Help, get me out of here!

- Hang on!

(expl*si*n)

Ah!

- Help me!

Get me out of here, come on!

Please, please help me!

- Brodam?

- Please!

Get me out of here, come on help me!

(magical flash)

- Kalem.

- No one will reproach you William Tell.

You cannot lift the grid

and the mine is catching fire.

You have done all you can.

- Get me out of here, come on!

- You mean, I can leave him?

- And have Lalia, your love.

- Please!

Please help me!

Don't leave me here!

Help me please!

Please!

Come on, don't leave me here!

- Gah!

Dah! (grate thuds)

- Ah.

(expl*si*n)

(Tilly screams)

(expl*si*n)

- Will!

- Lalia!

(William and Brodam cough)

- Oh thank the powers for my tunnel.

You saved my life.

What's your name?

- It doesn't matter.

- I want to repay you.

- But you can't.

- There must be something.

Anything, anything at all.

Please.

You can go back home.

Help raise an army against Xax.

- Gladly.

I'm not a fighter but-- - Just do it.

- If that's what you want.

- Please.

- Goodbye then.

Thank you my strange friend.

- [Vara] How could you let him go?

- Vara.

- No she's right.

I should have stopped him.

- Don't blame yourself.

It was his choice.

Will.

- Wait.

There's uh,

someone you should see first.

- [Lalia] Brodam.

Will.

- [Tilly] Brodam!

- Thank you.

(alvar whines)

(ghostly wind)

- Take care.

- Goodbye.

- Bye. - See you.

- I still don't understand why you rescued Brodam.

Even when you knew who he was.

- You think I'm crazy?

- Yeah, I would have left him there.

- [Princess Vara] But you really loved her, didn't you?

- Yes princess,

I did.

Maybe that was the real challenge.

- What challenge?

- Nothing.

(dramatic rock music)

(Arrow whirls)

(thud)

- You are learning William Tell.
