- [snoring]

- Hey, Dunk?Dunk, are you up? Du--oh.

He's sleepswimming.- Again.

- [chuckles]- [gasps]

- Oh, Dunk?- What happened?

- Well, I was having a prettygood nap and fell out of bed.

Then, something poked me.

- Something poked you?Like--like, a crab?

- Whoa!- What is it?

- I found what poked me.It's a small, pointy thing.

-Whoa! A small, pointy thing!What is it?

- It looks familiar.But, I can't put my fin on it.

- I know what it is.It's a tooth.

- A tooth?Wait, did someone lose a tooth?

[all humming]

all: Nope.- Someone's missing a tooth.

And if it were me,I'd want my tooth back.

- Me too.What should we do with it?

- All right, Reeftown Rangers,

let's find out who this mysterytooth belongs to.

Spread out,and find some clues.

[chuckles]- Okay.

- [gasps]Another tooth!

The mystery grows.

- I found one too. Wow,someone's lost a lot of teeth.

- Let's keep looking. Follow me.- Okay.

[laughter]- This is fun.

- The trail of teeth led us allthe way to the Sandy Bed.

- So these teeth belonged tosomeone in Reeftown, but who?

- Well, what kind of fish wouldhave all their teeth fall out?

- Sometimes older fishlose their teeth.

Do we know any old fish?

all: Hmm.

all: [gasping]

- Well, kids, I wish I couldhelp, but those aren't my teeth.

- Hmm, okay, but do you knowwho they might belong to?

- Sorry, Splash,I'm no tooth expert.

Although,I know someone who is.

all: Hmm.

all: [gasping]

- Mayor Sting!both: Or...

Denny the Cleaner Shrimp!

- Oh, totally.Denny the Cleaner Shrimp.

- Oh, and then she said what?- [mumbling]

- Now, that is how you getthings done!

And another thing--oh, hey, kids.

What can I do for you today?

You got a busted tooth?

Maybe some seaweedyou need picked out?

That's what I'm here for.

- No, Denny,nothing like that today.

We actually need your advice.

- Okay, then spit it out.Not you.

- Do you knowwhose tooth this is?

- Wow!This is a very nice find, kids.

You don't see many shark teetharound the reef here.

- Sha--sha--sha--excuse me for a moment.

Shark!

Right, so you were sayingsomething

about the sha--sha--sha--

- Shark.- What she said.

- Yep! A zebra bullhead shark,to be exact.

You know, there's one that livesin an alcove

on the edge of the reef.- [gasps]

Really?A shark lives in Reeftown?

- Is it safe to go near them?

- [mumbling]

- Well, there you go, kids.That's great advice!

Do exactly what Moray said,you'll be just fine.

- Well, uh, any other wordsof wisdom, maybe?

- Well, let me think.

- [mumbling]

- Absolutely! Couldn't have saidit better myself.

Good luck, kids!

- Uh, yes, um, ahem.

Well, uh, thank youfor that helpful advice.

Have either of youever seen a shark?

- No, but I heardthey're really big and mean.

- I bet the shark is only inReeftown to look for his teeth.

- And if he doesn't find them,he might eat Reeftown.

- Well then, we better find him,and give him back his teeth.

- Uh, hold up, hold on.

So, the shark is angryand eating everything,

and you want to find itand bring it back its teeth?

- Uh, well,when you say like that--

- Say it like what?- Huh? Huh?

- Hey, I'm Zee.Nice to meet you.

- Oh! Hi, Zee. Phew,You gave us quite a scare there.

- Yeah, we thoughtyou were a shark.

- Okay, uh, and...?

- And sharks are big,

and mean, and scary!

So it's a good thingyou're not shark.

- But--but--- Nice to meet you.

- Oh, but I--uh, hmm.

So, sharks are mean and scary,huh?

- Uh, well, we've never reallymet one.

But once, when I was still withmy school, we swam past a shark,

and it was huge, and fast, andgray, with big sharp teeth.

Yeah,it was a pretty amazing sight.

- Amazing?Huge, fast, shark teeth.

I think the word you're thinkingof is "totally terrifying."

- Yeah, you have to be careful.

Denny the Cleaner Shrimp

told us there's a shark livingin the neighborhood!

- [gasps]You don't say.

- And we think he lostall of his teeth,

so he's probably angrierthan usual.

- Hmm.Interesting theory.

You know,you sound like shark experts.

So you must know what a sharklooks like.

- Sure. Like I said, they'rehuge, and gray, and fast.

- Oh, and they havelots of big teeth!

- Mm-hmm.- Oh, you mean like these?

- Yeah, sort of like those.- And they have big dorsal fins.

- Oh, you mean like this one?

-Oh! Yeah,kind of like that one.

- And did you knowthat most sharks

have five gill slits,like these?

- One, two, three, four,five. Yep.

Wait a minute,

you know an awful lotabout sharks.

Are you...?

- Yes?- A shark expert, too?

- I guess you could sayI'm a shark expert,

seeing as how I am a shark.

[laughter]

- Oh, Zee, you almost got usthere. That was a good one.

[laughter]

- I mean, what kind of sharkis small with stripes?

- Yeah, and hangs out with fish?

- A really good one!And I'm not that small.

- [laughing]You're hilarious, Zee!

- Yeah.- I like you.

- Hey, Zee,can you help us find the shark?

- Well, let's just say,if I go with you,

you will definitelyfind a shark.

- Yeah, come on.- All right.

- I'm glad Zee's coming along.

-This is where Denny saidthe shark lived.

- Denny was right.all: [gasping]

- I happen to know for a factthat a shark lives here.

- Oh, great.Then we're in the right place.

- So, who's going in?all: Not it.

- I'll go.- Uh, be careful, Zee.

- I'll be fine.

[suspenseful music]

♪ ♪

- Uh, uh, Zee?

Uh, is that you?

♪ ♪

- Does that shadowhave a dorsal fin?

♪ ♪

- I think it does.Does it have teeth?

♪ ♪

- It does.

The...shark.

Please don't eat Reeftown!- Please don't eat Reeftown!

- Please don't eat me!both: Huh?

- I mean, Reeftown.Please don't eat Reeftown. Yay.

- [laughing]Don't worry.

I couldn't eat Reeftowneven if I wanted to.

all: Zee?

- That's right,welcome to my home.

- You live here?- Uh-huh.

- I thought that a shark lived--wait a minute.

- [laughing]- Huh, you really are a shark.

- That's whatI've been telling you.

- Yeah, but you're so small.

- Ugh, here we go.

Where does it saythat a shark has to be big?

- Well, I don't know,I just thought sharks are big,

and gray, and scary, and...- You and everybody else.

But here's the thing.Some sharks are big,

but not all of them are big.

Or gray, or scary,or eat everything around.

There are all different kindsof sharks,

of all different shapesand sizes.

- But, what aboutthe teeth we found?

- Yeah, the Cleaner shrimptold us they were shark teeth.

But they can't be yoursbecause you have all your teeth.

- Hmm.Interesting.

Well, all I can sayto that is...

[humming]Patooie.

all: [gasping]

- Zebra bullhead sharks losetheir teeth all the time.

- Yeah,but your tooth is round.

The teeth we found are pointy.

- Oh, sorry.Let me try again.

[humming]Patooie.

- Hmm,these teeth are an exact match.

- That means,not only are you a shark,

you're the sharkwe've been looking for!

- That's whatI've been telling you.

Here, check this out.Ahh.

- Look at all those teeth!- Gross!

- Yeah, awesome.

- I have two different kindsof teeth in my mouth.

- Two different kinds of teeth?- Yeah.

My pointy teeth are goodfor grabbing things,

and my round teeth are goodfor crunching hard shells.

Watch.[crunching]

- [chuckles]

- Well, you can haveyour teeth back.

- Ah, thanks,but you can keep them.

I already have a full set.

- Huh?Now I'm totally confused.

- I have a never-ending supplyof teeth.

When one falls out,

there's always another readyto replace it.

- Wow,sharks really are amazing.

- Yeah, you know,I'm really sorry, Zee,

that I, uh,I didn't believe you.

- Yeah, sorry.

Maybe we're notshark experts after all.

- Uh, no worries, you've nevermet a shark like me.

But remember,small sharks are sharks too.

- Sharks come in all shapesand sizes.

- You're sounding moreand more like shark experts.

Oh, and, uh,one more thing.

Did I mention that sharksare very fast swimmers?

Tag, you're it!- What?

- Oh, no!- Sharks are awesome!

- Catch me if you can!I'm over here.

- Oh, yeah!- I don't think so.

Oh, I don't think so.- Oh, boy!

- And now it's time to...

- Do animals in the oceantake baths?

- ♪ Clean your fins and clean your tail ♪

♪ Don't forget your teeth and scales ♪

♪ Swim on over ♪

♪ Swim on down to cleaning station ♪

♪ Where the fish do veg out well ♪

♪ Removing algae from a shell ♪

♪ Swim on over ♪

♪ Swim on down to the cleaning station ♪

♪ Striped fish will get you nice and spiffy ♪

♪ And they'll do it in a jiffy ♪

♪ Get you on your way ♪

♪ To have a lovely ocean day ♪

♪ There's a place to bathe and primp ♪

♪ Thanks to a very friendly shrimp ♪

♪ Swim on over ♪

♪ Swim on down to the cleaning station ♪

♪ We'll get you cleaned up nice and spiffy ♪

♪ And we'll do it in a jiffy ♪

♪ Get you on your way ♪

♪ To have a lovely ocean day ♪

♪ Don't you know we can help anybody out ♪

♪ That's what the station's all about ♪

♪ Swim on over ♪

♪ Swim on down to the cleaning station ♪

- I want to goto a cleaning station!

- This has been...

[kids cheering]

[upbeat music]

- Whoa![laughter]

- Go!- Whoo!

- Yeah-ha!

- Watch out!Coming through.

- Oh, yeah.Uh-oh. Zoom.

- Yeah, look out,I'm gaining on you.

Oh, wait, did you just say,"Zoom?"

- Oh, yeah, because it makes mesound faster.

- Whoo!- Whoo-hoo! First!

- Close second!- Bringing up the rear.

- Oh, boy.Good race, you guys.

Good race.- Thanks, you too.

- Don't feel bad, Splash.Bubbles is really fast.

- Yeah. [chuckles]Fastest in my whole family.

- Well, you know, I'm not reallythat fast

at the whole"in and out of reefs thing."

I'm moreof a straight-ahead swimmer.

[chuckles]That's where I really shine.

-Uh-huh.- Wha--? No, seriously.

I bet I could swim pretty fastaround the reef,

maybe even faster than Bubbles.

- [scoffs] You think?- Wha--?

- Well, might be kind of funto find out.

Come on, nothing wrong with alittle healthy competition.

- Mm-hmm. See, Bubbles has theright attitude.

It's all in good fun.Win, lose, who cares?

Of course,a win is always better.

- All right, Splash.

If you want to lose twice in oneday, that's fine by me.

Let's head offto Takeoff Point and race.

- Ha, done![chuckles]

- Whoo, that last racewas just a warm-up for me.

- Oh, that's right.Watch my tail, Splash.

- All right, I'm watching.- Ha, yeah, you watch.

- Hey, Bubbles, Dunk, Splash.

- Hi, Wave.- What's up, Wave?

- What are you kids up to?Huh?

Want me to fill you inon current events?

[laughter]- Nice one.

- I don't get it.[chuckles]

- Current events.Current!

- Well listen, Wave.

We were gonna havea little race.

- Ooh.- Yeah.

And we wanted to seeif you could be

the official for our race.- Me?

Sure!What are my official duties?

- Well, just say "go."- And "stop."

- And say who won.That's it.

- Yeah, I can do that,I think.

I do get a little jumbled upwhen I get nervous, though.

And being a race officialis a big honor.

- [chuckles]You'll be fine.

- Yeah, totally fine.- Okay.

Ready, set, go!I think I can handle that.

- [chuckles]Okay, so, once around the reef,

and the first oneto cross this coral wins.

- Yeah!- Hey, Splash,

there's still timeto back out of the race.

- Oh, I'll be all right.

- Okay, don't sayI didn't warn you.

- [chuckles]Yeah.

- Are you guys ready?all: Yeah!

- On your marks...Get set...

Stop! I mean, go--go!all: Yahoo!

Nerves got to me, again.

Next time, Wave,next time.

- Ah, yes.- Whoa!

- You are pretty fast.

- Oh, thanks.But you ain't seen nothing yet.

Whoo-hoo!- Whoa.

Hey, Splash!Why is he doing that?

- No idea. Maybe the pressurejust got to him.

- Aww, poor guy.

Well, I promise not to goof onhim when he comes in last.

- Me either.Well, maybe just a little.

[both chuckle]- Hey, hey, hey!

- Whoo!- Whoo-hoo!

- Good race, Bubbles.I almost had you.

- Well, maybe next time, Dunk.

Or not.- Ha-ha.

- Congratulations, Bubbles.You came in second place.

- [chuckles]

I think you're a little mixed upthere, Wave.

I came in first.

And Dunk here,he came in second.

- Hey-yo.- [chuckles] No.

Splash came in first.Bubbles came in second.

And Dunk there,came in third.

- What?- Hey-yo?

- Yeah, there is no waythat Splash came in first.

- Yeah, I don't even knowif he finished the race.

- Hi, guys.

both: Wha--?- Oh, sorry.

I went looking for some shellsaround the reef,

since I finished the racesuch a long time ago.

- Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.Hold on.

- Hold it.- Yeah, hold the tide.

You did not finishthe race first.

- Uh, sure I did.

- But we saw you swim,pshew, straight up.

And then nothing.- Yeah.

- Yeah, and we didn't see youagain until right now.

- Oh, right.

Well, see, that's becauseI was going so fast

and you guyswere so far behind me,

there was no wayyou guys were gonna see me.

- [laughing]That's a good one.

Wait, are you serious?- Yeah.

- For the record,I was standing right here

when he crossedthe finish line.

I could hardlybelieve it myself.

- There's just no way--because Iwas there, like--

- How do you--how do you--- Listen, guys.

Guys, guys, it's actually prettyeasy to explain.

You see,there are these currents--

- Yeah, yeah,we need to race again.

- And we need to race againright now.

- [chuckles] Okay.- Feel the speed.

Feel the speed.You're fast, you're superfast.

- Uh, you guys ready?- Uh, no, not yet.

We may have been goofing arounda little on the last one.

- Yeah, but we're not gonna makethat mistake again.

- Mm-mm.- Okay.

You guys just let me knowwhen you're ready.

- Yeah, we're ready.

- All right.On your marks...

Go...Get set![both cheering]

- Go, go!- [chuckles]

♪ Do, do, do, do, do,do, do, do, do ♪

Oh, I thoughtI could handle it.

Oh, get yourself together,Wave.

- [chuckles]Yeah.

all: ♪ Let's go! ♪

- ♪ Be ready to takethe ride of our lives ♪

- Yeah!

♪ The whole ocean's waitingright before our eyes ♪

- Hey, did you see Splash?

- No, I didn't, did you?- Nope.

We got him b*at.- Ha-ha.

-Ah.I am wiped out.

- Yeah, I can't move.

- But crossing the finish linebefore Splash

made it all worth it.

- Hi, guys.both: Whoa--no.

No, no, no!- No, That is not possible.

You have not been ableto win again.

- Not only is it possible,but it actually happened!

- But how?When?

Where?How?

- Yeah,you don't even look tired.

- Oh, I'm not at all.Feel pretty good, in fact.

- You took a shortcut.- Nope.

- You didn't go all the wayaround the reef.

- Sure did.- You burrowed a tunnel

underground.

- Uh, I don't even knowhow to answer that.

- Ah,then how did you do it?

- [chuckles] That's what I wastrying to tell you before.

There are these thingscalled currents.

- Oh, yeah, of course.Currents.

Um, what are those?

- Oh, well, currents arebasically just water

that moves fasterthan all the surrounding water.

They can take youaround the reef,

or all the wayaround the world.

- Yep. See, when I was swimmingall over the world,

I learned that the currentsconnect

all the different oceanstogether,

to form one big ocean.

- There are currentsall over the place.

Even hereat Takeoff Point.

I'll let you in on a littlesecret of the currents.

The further you get upfrom the seafloor,

the stronger the current.

- Wave is right.That's why I kept swimming up.

You guys swam close downto the ocean floor,

so the currentsdidn't do you any good.

- Currents, pfft,seriously?

- Yeah, you expect usto believe that?

- Well, yeah, because it's true.Be right back.

Uh, let's see.Ah! Okay.

Watch this.[grunts]

- Wha--?- Whoa.

- [grunts]Okay, here I go.

both: Whoa!- Ha.

- Whoo. There it goes.

- Yeah,but it's just so weird.

- Yeah,are you sure it's real?

- [chuckles]All right,

looks like the only way you guysare really gonna understand

is if you take the currentfor yourselves.

Come on.Whoo.

- Go on.Go on, you two, go on.

- I got a bad feelingabout this.

all: Whoo-hoo-hoo.[laughter]

- This is amazing!We're going so fast.

- And we don't evenhave to swim.

- I know, right?

Now, you have tobe careful sometimes

because currentscan be strong

and some currentscan take you places

you don't want to go.

That's why I always check inwith Wave

before hopping on a current.

- So wait,is this current safe?

- Oh, yeah,this current is perfect

for racing 'round the reef.[chuckles]

- Good, because I'm having toomuch fun to stop.

- Yeah, me too.- Yeah, me too!

-Whoa!- Whoo!

[all cheering]

- That was oneof the best rides ever!

- Yeah.- Ever!

- Hey, guys.Remember,

if you ever wantto travel somewhere,

just ask old Wave here

which currentyou should take.

I'll wave youin the right direction.

[all laughing]

- Thanks, Wave.But maybe we'll do that later.

But for now...- We want another race.

- Yeah, and this time,

we're gonna take the currentright alongside you, buddy pal.

- [chuckles] You're on.- Whoo!

- Here we go.- Rawr, rawr.

- All right.

On your marks...

- Yeah!- Get set...

Go!all: Whoo!

- Hey, I did it!I did it, I did it, I did it!

[chuckles]Guys?

- Yeah!- This is so cool!

- Yeah!- Whoo!

- Oh, boy!- Hey-yo!

I'm so glad you guys like it.Isn't this cool?

- This is great.

- Nobody's ever goingto believe me.

- I knew you guys would love it.- Oh, it's so amazing.

- Oh, it's the best ever!- Let's do it again.

You want to go one more time?

- And not it's time to...

- Is the moray eel a fish?

male announcer: Yes it is...

The ocean is full of amazing and unique fish

of different shapes and sizes.

♪ Like my old friend, Maury ♪

♪ Talk about a big toothy grin ♪

♪ And the lion fish is flashy ♪

♪ Showing off those venomous fins ♪

♪ The frogfish is hiding ♪

♪ With a fishing pole attached to his nose ♪

♪ While the tiny dragonet fish ♪

♪ Walks around on dainty toes ♪

♪ The prickly little pipefish ♪

♪ Looks just like a floating plant ♪

♪ And the garden eels are funny ♪

♪ Peeking out from holes in the sand ♪

♪ So many shapes and sizes ♪

♪ I can't believe my eyes ♪

♪ It's a cavalcade of color ♪

♪ It really is a wonder ♪

♪ So many kinds of fish ♪

♪ Here under the sea ♪

- Whoa,there's a lot of fish.

- This has been...

[kids cheering]

[upbeat music]
