(upbeat music)

(snoring)

(guitar playing)

- The sound, ah.

Sean, Seamus.

- Sorry grandpa.

We didn't mean to wake you up.

We could turn it down.

- Or, you could

tune it up.

- Tune it up?

- You can't expect it

to play decent rock and roll

on an out of tune guitar you know.

(playing rock music)

Ah, lovely.

There you go boys, rock the house.

- Grandpa just played rock and roll.

- Too weird.

- Quite now.

Did you think rock and roll was born with the two of you.

I've had rock in me blood since I was knee high

to a snare drum.

I even had me own band once.

- You had a band?

- Did you play lots of shows?

- Did you have lots of fans?

- Boys, I had it all.

It didn't start that way.

In fact, it all started on a bit of a sour note.

(violin playing out of tune)

- Oh, Molly me darlin',

that was lovely,

wasn't it dear.

- Oh, yes, lovely.

- No it wasn't.

- Of course it was, Piggley.

- Eh, if you say so.

- Thank you Piggley.

then you'll walk her home.

Molly too.

- No it can't be Molly.

And I have to take you to school for your lesson.

- On Saturday?

- Why I'd rather be sent to Mars for the rest of me life

than go to school on a Saturday.

- So'd I,

but me mother says I have to take Molly.

- Today's game will be played in your honor,

Commander Piggley.

- And may you safely return

from your terrible mission.

- Look, Ferny, Martian mud eaters.

I just couldn't tell you I was coming here every Saturday.

You'd think I was daft.

- That's not we're talking about Piggley.

We're talking about the music.

Why didn't you tell us about the music?

- It's called rock and roll.

In the very beginning.

- [Grandpa] I shared everything I knew with my friends.

And by the time I was done weaving the magic spell

of rock and roll,

we were all ready and eager to form our very own band,

the Raloo Rockers.

- Muy buen, listo, all finished.

This is my first on making a drum set.

What do you think Fernando?

(drumming)

- Oh papa, maravilloso!

- Sounds great Dannan.

- Well why are we all just standing around chin waggin,

let's play some rock and roll.

- All right then,

I'll start playing,

you two listen to the rhythm,

and jump in when you're ready.

(rock music)

- Hmm, not bad.

I like this new music.

- This isn't quite the way it's supposed to sound.

- Oh, Janey Mack.

wasn't it?

- Of course it was.
