Carmen: Hi! Carmen here.

I want to tell you a story from England about Three Sillies.

Once there was a gentleman

who visited a family of three Silly farmers,

a Mother, Father and Daughter.

Carmen: The Sillies offered him a cider from the cellar.

Carmen: When the Silly daughter went down to get it,

she noticed a book,

standing on a shelf.

It got her thinking: what if that book fell

and landed on her foot?

Ouch!

Just thinking of it made her so sad that she started crying.

"Waaaaa-ha-ha!"

Hearing all this,

the silly mom hurried down to see what was wrong.

Carmen: When the silly daughter showed her the book

and how it might some day fall,

the silly mom started crying too!

"Waaaaaaaaa-ha-ha!"

The silly father came down next

and found his wife and daughter in tears.

When he saw the book, he thought:

"Gosh, what if that book really did fall

on my poor daughter's foot?"

"Waaaaaaaaa-ha-ha!"

Finally, the gentleman came down to see what

all the fuss was about.

He asked them all what was so sad?

He tipped the book over...

and showed how it couldn't hurt anyone.

Boy, was that silly, said the Sillies.

They poured the cider and went back upstairs.

The End.
