Leo: We live in a big, beautiful world.

Leo: I'm Leo.

Andy: I'm Andy.

Carmen: And I'm Carmen.

Our parents work in a circus that travels

all around the world, and we travel with them.

Andy: So we never know where in the world we will end up next.

(train whistling)

Carmen: But wherever we go, we know that

Luna the Moon will be there with us.

♪ With Luna the Moon and some new friends too ♪

Leo: Glocken Around The Clock.

(crashing/banging)

(jingling)

Leo: (sigh)

I'm looking forward to a nice day with

my...hmm...friends?!

(tense dramatic music) ♪♪

Leo: My room... it's completely destroyed!

Andy: Hey there, Le--oh! Whoa!

What... wha... what happened in here?

Carmen, come in here, you gotta see this!

Carmen: See what, Andy? Oh!

Leo: It's Mathilda, my baby sister.

She can be a little destructive.

Wolfgang: Say there Leo, I got a favor to ask.

Your mom and I are off to run some errands and we need you

to babysit Mathilda.

Leo: Uuugh! I can't watch her today.

Andy, Carmen, and I have stuff to do!

All she does is break things!

Pippa: C'mon, Leo... she's your little sister.

Leo: Mooom!

Wolfgang: You'll do just fine, son.

Just remember that babies like

Mathilda can get a little bit fussy.

Wolfgang: But all you have to do is keep her happy!

If she starts to get fussy...

(ringing)

let her play this Glockenspiel.

She loves it! (clapping)

Wolfgang: That should keep her entertained for hours!

Got it? Always happy!

'Cuz if Mathilda gets upset,

she'll do that terrible thing she does when she's sad.

You know the thing.

Leo: Oh... I know...

Wolfgang: Right. Good luck!

Leo: (sighs)

Sometimes having a baby sister is...

not my favorite thing.

Carmen: Don't worry, Leo!

We're here to help!

Andy: Uh, Leo...what's this terrible thing

she does when she's upset?

It can't be worse than destroying your bedroom.

Leo: Oh... it's worse.

Carmen/Andy: Worse?

Carmen: Well, she has her glockenspiel,

so she'll be fine!

♪ (ding) ♪ Carmen/Andy/Leo: Awwwww!

♪ (ding) ♪ Mathilda: (cooing)

(smash/bash)

Carmen/Andy/Leo: Mathilda!

(smash/bash/crash) Leo: Ooh-no-no-no-no-no!

The Glockenspiel!

You broke it, Mathilda!

(ding)

Mathilda: (soft whining)

Leo: Uh-oh! Guys...guys!

Wiggly ears!

That's the second-to-last thing she does

before she does the "terrible thing"!

We need a new glockenspiel... and fast!

But where do we get one?

Andy: Hold on, Leo!

Carmen... it's globe time!

Carmen: Okay, Magic Globe, where are we?

And, where do we get a glockenspiel?

Magic Globe: Hello, friends! I'm glad you asked!

Today, you're in Munich, Germany.

The perfect place to be

when you're in need of a Glockenspiel!

Magic Globe: The glockenspiel has metal bars

that you hit with special little hammers

to make the lovely chime- like tone it's known for.

Leo: Right, right, right. We need one of those.

Magic Globe: The German word "glockenspiel"

is also used to describe bells in a tower.

And Munich has a famous glockenspiel like that

inside their town hall!

It's called the Rathaus Glockenspiel.

Leo: But where can we get the small, baby-Mathilda-sized kind?

Magic Globe: Hmm...I don't know.

Have fun!

Leo: I need to find a glockenspiel quick!

C'mon!

Andy: Wait for us!

Leo: (screams)

(thunk) Oof.

Luna: Oh my, Leo.

Someone's hungry.

Hi, Andy. Hi, Carmen.

Leo: Uuugh.

Brrr!

Luna!

Carmen: ♪ Luna, come and play ♪

Leo: ♪ Luna's here, what do ya say! ♪

Andy: ♪ Luna, bright as day! ♪

Carmen/Andy/Leo: ♪ Show us the world, lead the way! ♪

Luna: You're just in time for sausages and sauerkraut!

Leo: No time for that, Luna!

I'm babysitting Mathilda and she's starting to get upset!

I need to keep her happy, but I can't do that without a new

glockenspiel for her to play!

Can you help us find her a new glockenspiel Luna?

Luna: Luckillly, I think I know just the right

person for all your glockenspiel needs.

Friends, meet Franz. Franz... friends!

Franz: Hello!

My father happens to own a glockenspiel shop!

What are we waiting for?

Come! Waddle this way!

Franz: Here it is! The Glockenhaus!

Franz: I welcome you... da-da-da-da-da!

To the wonders of the glockenspiel!

Glocken to your hearts' content!

Kids: Wow!

So, I know what you are thinking.

You are thinking: "Yah, yah, the glockenspiel,

pretty cool, yah, but why exactly

are they pretty much the coolest?"

Andy: Yeah, I was thinking that.

Franz: Well, let me show you!

Franz: There are so many different types of glockenspiel.

This one is for a marching band.

You see? You play it while marching!

Franz: My favorite part about the glockenspiel

is how the notes sound!

Oh! The glockenspiel has a higher "ding"

than most instruments!

Don't you just love it?

(tinkle)

Franz: Ah, yes! You are loving it, I can tell!

Oh, goodness! Come with me!

There are even more glockens to spiel!

Franz: Which glockenspiel should we start with?

Perhaps the Bell Lyre Glockenspiel...

this is a nice one.

Here, try this one, tiny harmless baby.

It has such a nice shape aww...

Come, there are many more to consider!

(smash/bash/cr*ck)

Franz: What about the Keyboard Glockenspiel!

(SMASH)

Franz: Or maybe one of our classic glockenspiels,

with the dainty ding we all love?

(bang bang bang)

(tinkling) ♪♪

(CRASH)

Leo: They all sound great, Franz!

Luna: Yeah, let's get Mathilda and see which one she likes.

Franz: Ahhh yes, of course!

Let us find the perfect

instrument for the perfect sweet little baby.

(SMASH)

Franz: Wahh!

My beautiful Glockenhaus glockenspiels!

Glockensmashed by a tiny glocken-baby!

(tiny whining noise)

Leo: Oh no! Her hair curled up!

That's the final thing that happens

before she does the terrible thing!

We've got to find another

glockenspiel for her to play, fast!

Luna: That's it, guys.

Looks like we're gonna have to bring out the big glockenspiel.

Franz: The... Big glockenspiel?

Luna: Quickly everyone, this way!

Franz: (whimper)

Luna: Oh! I almost forgot!

Franz: (gasp!) My glockenspiels!

They are back to their glocken-selves!

Ohh, thank you, Luna!

Luna: Don't mention it, Franz!

(whispers) Really...don't mention it to anybody.

Okay, let's go!

Luna: There! It's the Rathaus Glockenspiel!

Luna: Check it out, guys!

The biggest glockenspiel in Munich is inside here!

It's very different from the ones in Franz's store.

Luna: There are forty-three bells inside this building,

and people gather twice a day to hear their cheerful sound!

Luna: So there you have it, everyone.

There's no way Mathilda can break that glockenspiel!

Carmen/Andy/Leo/Franz: Yeah! Woohooo!

Leo: But uh... Luna?

That big glockenspiel is cool and everything...

but how is Mathilda supposed to play it?

Luna: Hmm... Oh I guess I didn't think about that.

Leo: Whoaaa!

Mathilda: (angry baby noises)

Leo: Oh, no! She's getting fussy again!

She needs to play a glockenspiel... now!

Mathilda: (angry baby noises)

Luna: Leo... Is she about to do...

what I think she's about to do?

Leo: I'm afraid so, Luna...

She's about to... DO THE TERRIBLE THING!

Mathilda: (baby whining)

Leo: (screams) Aggh! She did it!

She did it!

Andy: Wait... that's the terrible thing

Mathilda does when she's unhappy?

Carmen: Just make a sad face?

Franz: Oh, that's not so bad.

Leo: I'm so sorry we couldn't

find the right glockenspiel for you, Mathilda.

Mathilda: (whimpers)

(chimes playing) ♪♪

Luna: (gasps) Oh, it's the Rathaus- Glockenspiel!

Looks like it's starting to play!

(bells ringing) ♪♪

Carmen/Andy/Leo: Oooooh...

Mathilda: (happy noise)

Leo: What's that, Mathilda?

Mathilda: (happy noise)

Carmen: Well, look at that!

She's enjoying it, Leo!

Andy: Yeah! She's not doing the not-so-terrible thing anymore.

Leo: You're right, guys!

She's happy!

Mathilda loves the Rathaus Glockenspiel!

All: Yay! Mathilda: (happy noises)

Leo: I guess she didn't need to play a glockenspiel after all!

She just needed to hear its special sound!

Franz: Look, Leo!

I have brought Mathilda a tiny

Rathaus-Glockenspiel music box from my shop.

Now she can hear its charming sound all the time!

Leo: Wow, thank you so much Franz,

for everything!

(gentle chimes) ♪♪

Mathilda: (baby sound)

Leo: (giggle) You know guys,

I guess having a baby sister isn't so bad after all.

Wolfgang/Pippa: Awwwe!

Leo: Hi, Mom and Dad!

Pippa: And how's my little baby snookums?

(baby talk)

Leo: She's fiiine...

Wolfgang: Did she do the terrible thing Leo?

Leo: Well, yeah, but she's happy now.

Thanks to Munich, Luna, and the Rathaus-Glockenspiel!

Pippa: Awww, I'm sorry you had to see Mathilda's

poor wittle sad face!

Wolfgang: But you also got to see that huge glockenspiel!

You must have had the chime of your life!

(laughs)

Chime!

(laughing)

Andy/Carmen/Leo/Pippa: (fake laughing)

Heh heh heh...

Luna: (extended laughs)

Leo: Oh, Luna! You're back in the sky already!

Luna: Sure am, Leo! Come on out here!

Leo: Thanks, Luna.

I loved learning about the glockenspiel.

Luna: You're welcome, Leo.

The glockenspiel is such an important instrument in Germany.

(ringing) ♪♪

Leo: It turned out to be a great day after all.

But I feel like there's still

so much more to see here in Munich, Germany.

Luna: Of course there is,

but not to worry, there's always tomorrow.



Carmen: Hi, it's Carmen!

Here's a tale of enchantment I learned in Germany.

Carmen: Once there was a ruler

named Elsa of Brabant, whose kingdom was in danger.

She went to the forest to think of a plan.

Carmen: Suddenly, a knight in armor came floating

up the river, in a boat pulled by a big white swan.

Carmen: The Swan Knight said he could help.

"All I ask," he said,

"is that you never ask me where I am from."

Carmen: Elsa agreed.

Together, they bravely faced and conquered every danger.

(thunder crashing) (monsters growling)

(fighting noises)

(crowd cheering)

Soon, her kingdom was saved.

She thanked the Swan Knight,

but, alas, could not resist asking where he came from.

Carmen: The Swan Knight said,

a magical spell had brought him to her

from a magical kingdom.

Now the spell was broken, so he must return.

Carmen: Elsa bid farewell to the Swan Knight,

but the amazing story of how they worked together

to save her kingdom has lasted to this very day.

Carmen: Good Knight

Carmen: Ahh. What a beautiful day!

(birds chirping)

Carmen: Something about this place feels downright magical!

Carmen: Wouldn't you agree, Honey?

Honey: It's like being in a fairy-tale!

Carmen: ♪ La la la laaaaaa! ♪

Honey: ♪ La la la la... ♪

LAAAAAAA!

Andy: Hi, Carmen. Hi, Honey.

You two seem happy today.

Carmen: It's this country!

There must be something in the air.

Honey: (sniffs)

Smells like fantasy.

Carmen: Honey, get down from there!

Honey: Sorry, Honey likes to go up high!

Carmen: (giggles)

Andy: Why does it smell like fantasy?

Leo: Yeah?

What country is this?

Honey: Let's ask the Magic Globe!

Carmen: Where are we, Magic Globe?

Magic Globe: Good day, everyone!

Or, as they say here in Germany, "Guten Tag!"

Carmen/Andy/Leo/Honey: Guten Tag!

Magic Globe: Today we are in the city of Munich,

in the country of Germany.

Magic Globe: Germany has a rich tradition

of fairy tales and legends.

Germans of all ages find inspiration in epic

stories of the legendary knights of old.

Carmen: You mean like knights in shining armor!?

Magic Globe: That's right, Carmen!

Some of the most famous German knights were...

Lohengrin, also known as the Swan Knight.

Also Tannhauser, and Parsifal,

one of the legendary Knights of the Grail!

Have fun in Munich, kids!

Carmen: Wow, knights are so cool!

Honey: But why are they all boys?!

Carmen: Huh?

Honey: All these knights are boys!

I want a girl knight!

Andy: Hey, she's right!

Carmen: Yeah! That's not fair!

I can do anything a boy can do!

Maybe I should become a knight!

Honey: Yay! Carmen the knight!

Carmen: Again in a high place!

Honey, get down from there!

You know you shouldn't be way up there...

on top of... Luna?

♪♪

Carmen: ♪ Luna- ♪

Carmen/Honey: ♪ Come and play! ♪

Leo: ♪ Luna's here whaddaya say? ♪

Andy: ♪ Luna, bright as day! ♪

Kids: ♪ Show us the world, lead the way! ♪

Luna: Guten Tag!

Welcome to Munich, Germany!

Carmen: Luna, the Magic Globe

just told us about the knights of Germany.

I want to be a knight like in the legends of old!

Luna: I think you'd make a great knight, Carmen!

Honey: But where's her armor?

Carmen can't be a knight without shining armor!

Carmen: Good point, Honey!

Luna, can you use your magic to give me a suit of armor?

Please?

Luna: Well, okay.

But just this once.

Carmen: It's, ugh, a little hard to move.

Luna: Whoops, sorry.

Let's try that again.

Carmen: Wow, thanks Luna! This fits great!

Luna: All right, Carmen's got the armor,

so what's next?

What else does she need to be a knight?

Leo: I know, a castle!

Carmen: But where are we going to find a castle?

Luna: Actually, there are castles all over Germany.

I know of a real-life fairy tale

castle that's very popular with visitors to Munich!

It's only a train ride away! Come on, follow me.

Luna: (grunting/struggling)

Here we are!

Neuschwanstein Castle!

Kids: Wooow!

Luna: This castle is newer than most.

It was built by a king,

who was inspired by the legends of Germany.

Luna: No one lives here anymore.

These days, Neuschwanstein Castle is open to visitors

from all over the world!

So, now that Carmenhas the armor and the castle,

what else does she need to be a knight?

Andy: I know! Someone to rescue!

Carmen: But who?

Honey: Ooh, pick me, pick me!

Carmen: Honey?

Honey: I'll be your hamster in distress!

Carmen: Honey, wait!

Honey: Save me!

(grunting)

Carmen: Oh no! The door is locked!

How am I supposed to rescue Honey now?

Luna: Don't despair.

Just consider this your first knightly challenge.

Carmen: You're right, Luna!

I've just got to think like a knight!

Let's put our heads together...

How would a knight get into a locked castle?

Carmen/Andy/Leo: Hmmmm...

Luna: I don't know if this is a good idea.

Leo: It's okay, Luna.

Just think like a battering ram.

Carmen: On your mark, get set, push!

Luna: Whoahhh!

Whoaahhh!

Klaus: (gasps) Luna: Whoahhh!

(bowling pin crashing sounds)

Klaus: Guten tag!

You are our first visitors of the day!

Welcome to Neuschwanstein Castle!

Oh, hello Luna!

Luna: Hi, Klaus.

Sorry to barge in like this.

We are on a noble...quest.

Klaus: A noble quest?

Carmen: Yes, actually.

Guten tag, kind gentleman!

I am Carmen the Knight

and I have come to rescue a fair maiden...

I mean hamster.

Her name is Honey.

Have you seen her?

Klaus: A hamster?!

No. But if she's inside this castle,

it will be very difficult to find her,

much less rescue her.

Neuschwanstein Castle has over rooms.

A teeny hamster could get very lost

in a huge place like this.

Klaus: Listen, I need to get ready for all the tourists

who will be arriving at any moment.

But since Luna is with you,

feel free to search for your hamster.

Carmen: Yes, I must rescue my hamster in distress,

for I am a noble knight!

Luna: Thanks, Klaus.

Carmen: ♪ Hamster lost and in distress. ♪

♪ This is my noble quest. ♪

♪ Search every door that's shut. ♪

♪ Find her no matter what. ♪

Carmen: ♪ A knight can't fail. ♪

Carmen: ♪ Honey needs me so my courage leads me.♪

♪ It's not impossible, ♪

♪ for this determined knight ♪

♪ I'll search the whole castle till Honey's in my sight. ♪

♪ Armor shining, Faithful deed ♪

♪ No resigning, I must succeed! ♪

♪ I will succeed! ♪

♪ Honey's missing! She's so small. ♪

♪ I will search in every hall ♪

♪ Where's my hamster? ♪

♪ Where's she hiding? What's the answer? ♪

♪ Keep on trying! ♪

♪ We have a hamster in distress ♪

♪ I've searched the castle floor by floor ♪

♪ Through rooms galor <span> ♪

♪ What's more this time ♪

♪ I know I'll find her right behind this door! ♪

Carmen: Never fear, Honey!

I'm here to rescue... you?

Carmen: Oh, no. She's not here!

This doesn't seem like pretend anymore.

What if Honey really is lost and in distress?

Maybe I'm not a knight after all.

I can't even find a hamster.

Luna: Carmen, there's more to being a knight than armor.

You need what's inside the armor.

You need you.

Your courage, your strength, and your cleverness.

And you already have those qualities.

Carmen: You're right, Luna.

I've spent this whole time thinking about

what a knight would do.

I didn't stop to think what I would do!

Let's see, I know Honey likes to run off and hide...

and we're always telling her to get down from --

(gasps)

That's it!

Carmen: Honey is always climbing up

onto to the tallest thing she can find,

(gasps) and look!

Andy: That's the tallest tower in the whole castle!

Leo: That must be where Honey is!

Carmen: We just need to climb down, go across that courtyard,

and up to the tower on the other side.

Leo: But Carmen, look!

Now the courtyard is filled with tourists!

Andy: How are we going to get past all those people?

Carmen: Don't worry Andy,

this knight in shining armor will find a way.

Luna: (grunting)

Carmen: Oh, my... it's very crowded.

Okay, we'll just make our way

across the courtyard to the door on the other side.

Leo: We're right beside you, noble knight!

Carmen: Let's go rescue a hamster in distress!

Onward!

(exciting music) ♪♪

Luna: Excuse me! Carmen: Excuse me!

Coming through! Luna: Sorry. Pardon m!

Harvey: Hey, look!

The castle has people dressed as knights walking around.

Let's get a picture!

(crowd commotion)

Leo: They all want a picture with Carmen!

Harvey: Can you joust with my baby?

Carmen: Can you see the door I need to get to?

Luna: Uh... yeah!

The coast is clear, Carmen.

(crowd commotion)

If you can just make it to that door...

it'll be a straight sh*t up the tower to get Honey.

Carmen: Great! Can you give me a boost, Luna?

Never fear, Honey! This noble knight is on her way!

Harvey: Oh, boy!

Carmen: I'm no boy!

Carmen: Here I come, Honey!

Carmen: Honey?

Honey: My hero!

My valiant knight!

Maybe next time

I can be the knight and rescue you!

Carmen: (chuckles)

Sure!

Andy: That castle was so awesome!

Carmen: And being a knight and rescuing Honey

was so cool too!

Speaking of our little hamster in distress...

Carmen...where is she?

Honey: Up here, Carmen!

Carmen: (giggling) Honey,

it's time to get down from there.

Carmen: Luna, Neuschwanstein Castle was amazing,

but I want to go on even more noble quests in Munich, Germany.

Luna: There's always more adventures to be had

wherever we visit.

But remember, there's always tomorrow.
