Leo: We live in a big, beautiful world.

Leo: I'm Leo.

Andy: I'm Andy.

Carmen: And I'm Carmen.

Our parents work in a circus that travels

all around the world and we travel with them.

Andy: So we never know where in the world we will end up next.

(train whistling)

Carmen: But wherever we go, we know that

Luna the Moon will be there with us.

Fabuloso: Lost and found.

(bell ringing)

Fabuloso: Let's see...

some flowers here...

Nooo that doesn't look right..

Fabuloso: That's it, Hockbar...

Santi Salamander's new balancing act looks...

(splat)

Fabuloso: Not Fabuloso!

Fabuloso: Try as I might, Hockbar...

I cannot design this stage!

Fabuloso: I fear... I have lost my creativity.

the ability to use my imagination and ideas.

Hockbar: What? Impossible, Señor Fabuloso.

Fabuloso: No, it's true.

I must find a way to re-gain my creative abilities!

(splat)

Andy: Why don't you just play with us instead, Señor Fabuloso?

Here, have some water balloons!

(splat) Andy: Ahh!

Leo/Carmen: (laughing) Fabuloso: Play?

I do not play, children, I am a fully grown flamingo-man

with creative responsibilities!

And I am having a creative crisis!

Fabuloso: If I have no crea-tivity...

There can be no...circo!

Andy/Carmen/Leo: No Circo!

Andy: But, Señor Fabuloso!

Your creativity can't be gone!

Leo: Yeah, maybe you just misplaced it here in um...

Wait, where in the world are we today?

Carmen: Let's ask the Magic Globe!

Magic Globe: Hello, everyone!

Welcome to Barcelona!

Magic Globe: Barcelona is an amazing city in Catalonia,

a region of Spain.

Magic Globe: Barcelona is home to a ton of amazing art

and wonderful, unique buildings.

Magic Globe: And not only that- Barcelona is where one of our

close friends was born!

Fabuloso: Whaaaaat?

Fabuloso: One of our friends, you say??

And who might that be, Miss Globe of Magic?

Magic Globe: Why it's you, Señor Fabuloso!

You're from Barcelona!

Fabuloso: Oh, right.

Fabuloso: I almost forgot...

Barcelona is not only where I was born,

but also where I found my creativity...

Which I have now lost!

Magic Globe: Yeesh. Well, enjoy Barcelona friends!

Andy/Carmen/Leo: Thanks, Magic Globe!

Andy: Señor Fabuloso!

If Barcelona sparked your creativity before,

maybe it can spark it again!

Fabuloso: Spark it again, you say?

Yes, perhaps something in Barcelona

can make me creative again.

Carmen: This city is so beautiful!

Fabuloso: I wouldn't know, child.

Without creativity, everything looks gray...

Andy: I think that's 'cause you're staring at the sidewalk.

Fabuloso: Oh... yes.

Fabuloso: Whaaaa?

Fabuloso: Wavy, Wavy, Wavy!

Fabuloso: Oh, that building, it is waving at me

Luna: Hi, Señor Fabuloso.

Fabuloso: Oh, Luna!

Andy/Carmen/Leo: Luna!

Carmen: ♪ Lunaaa, come and play! ♪

Leo: ♪ Luna's here what'ya say! ♪

Andy: ♪ Lunaaa, bright as day! ♪

Andy/Carmen/Leo: ♪ Show us the world, lead the way! ♪

Luna: Welcome to Barcelona everybody!

What was with the upside-down face Señor Fabuloso??

Fabuloso: Well, you see Luna, we have a new balancing act,

Santi Salamander...

I was trying to design his stage when I realized...

My creativity has left my very being!

Andy: We came into the city to find something to spark

Fabuloso's creativity, Luna!

Can you help us?

Luna: Well if you're looking for creativity,

you've come to the right place.

That building over there is the Casà Mila.

Fabuloso: Ahhh yes, the Casà Mila!

Fabuloso: That is why it is so wavy!

What a lovely sight!

This beautiful building is designed by my favorite

architect, Antoni Gaudi!

(laughs) Leo: Antoni Gaudi??

Andy: Arch-i-tect?

Luna: An architect is a person who designs buildings.

Luna: And Antoni Gaudi designed

some of the coolest buildings ever. Including the Casà Mila.

Luna: Gaudi was inspired by the beauty of nature.

(laughing)

He made his buildings wavy or curvy, and decorated them with

bright colors and beautiful mosaics.

Fabuloso: (cheers)

Andy: Luna, what's a mosaic?

Luna: A mosaic is a picture or design made up of lots of tiny,

colorful tiles!

Andy: Wow! Mosaics are beautiful!

Fabuloso: (sigh)

Luna: You sure seem happier, Señor Fabuloso.

Andy: Does this mean you've found your creativity again?

Carmen: And your ability to decorate the stage?

Leo: And your desire to come and play with us?

Fabuloso: Well, I definitely don't have that.

But my creativity on the other hand --

no I don't have that either.

Fabuloso: (cries)

If Gaudi cannot restore my creativity

It must be gone forever!

Luna: Don't give up, Señor Fabuloso!

Your creativity will never leave you!

You just need a little more inspiration.

And I think the key to your inspiration is right...

Here.

Fabuloso: There's a key in my hat?

Luna: No...

There it is!

Fabuloso: How did that get in there??



Luna: ♪ Do you wanna know something great? ♪

♪ It's as natural as can be... ♪

♪ A part of you and me! ♪

♪ Creativity's everywhere, in the water and in the air... ♪

♪ Even if it's been a while, ♪

Kids: What a view! It's amazing! Incredible!

Andy: This place is magical, Luna!

Where are we now?

Luna: We're in Park Guell.

A beautiful place designed by Antoni Gaudi.

Andy: I remember Antoni Gaudi from Casà Mila!

Luna: Right.

There's even a house just over there where Gaudi once lived.

Fabuloso: I love Antoni Gaudi.

(sniffles) His work is Fabuloso.

But even surrounded by his masterpiece of design,

alas, my creativity has not returned.

Andy: Argggh... I give up!

I think your creativity really might be gone forever,

Señor Fabuloso!

Fabuloso: It would look that way, yes.

Luna: Come on, guys. We must keep trying...

we can never give up.

Andy: Well, okay.

But since we're in this beautiful park, I gotta play!

Leo: Hey, yeah!

Carmen: Good idea!

Luna: There, there, Fabuloso.

Maybe you'd feel better if you took a break and joined

the g*ng for some soccer?

Fabuloso: Soccer?

No...

I am suffering a serious creativity crisis...

Andy: Oops!

Andy: Forget your troubles for a second and just play!

Fabuloso: Play? PLAY??

Silly frog-tot, I do not play!

I am too grown up to play!

Andy: Too grown up?!

Andy: It looks to me like Gaudi never stopped playing...

Andy: I don't know how old he was when he designed this place,

but it looks like he was having fun.

It kind of makes you want to play.

Fabuloso: Hmm...

I do feel a strange playfulness bubbling up inside...

Fabuloso: What do you think, Luna?

Is a full- grown flamingo-man permitted to play like a tiny

child amongst the Gaudi?

Luna: I think maybe you have to.

Andy: Let's go! Playtime!

Leo: (effort) Hup! Carmen:(effort) Hnng!

Fabuloso: Play? Play!

Fabuloso: (impact)

Hoomph! Dally, dally, dally...

Fabuloso: Lark, lark, lark...

(bells ringing) (laughing)

Fabuloso: Frolic, frolic, frolic...

(chuckles) Ha ha ha ha!

Fabuloso: Wait, I'm feeling something...

Andy: Sorry!

Fabuloso: I'm feeling wet! But also something very strange!

The frolicking... It's... it's... it's...

Fabuloso: Creativity!

Fabuloso: I am soaked in water and swimming in ideas for Santi

Salamander's set design!

Thank you, tiny people!

Gaudi is wonderful, but it was playtime with you that brought

back my flood of creativity!

(laughs)

Andy: I can't wait to see Señor Fabuloso's

extra-creative set design!

Fabuloso: And one last tear...

(squeal) Eeeee!

Fabuloso: Bit of mosaic...

Perfect!

And Crayons!

Andy/Carmen/Leo: Ooooh ahh!

Fabuloso: There you are, kids!

Don't you love it?!

Fabuloso: It's all thanks to the return of my playful creativity!

Andy: Where's Luna?

Fabuloso: I think I know!

Andy: Wheeeeee!

Luna: Hey, you two!

Fabuloso: Luna, I'm so grateful to you and the child-lings

for helping me find my creativity!

Luna: Don't forget the help of wildly creative architect,

Antoni Gaudi.

I'm so glad you didn't give up, Señor Fabuloso.

The Circo looks... well...

Fabuloso!

Fabuloso: Yes, you all reminded me to play like a tiny Fabuloso

flamingo child, even in my work!

Andy: Yeah, Señor Fabuloso!

Playtime is the best time!

I bet you know a lot more great

places to play in Barcelona, Luna!

Luna: It's a little late for more play time tonight,

but remember, there's always tomorrow!



Fabuloso/Andy: (laughing)

Andy: ♪ Hi, it's Andy Hopper. ♪

♪ Being an architect is just one of the creative ♪

♪ things I'd like to do! ♪

♪ When you think up a building you're an architect, ♪

♪ You just draw up plans and you're all set, ♪

♪ Then your friends will help you build it up so high <span> , ♪

♪ And your creativity will really fly. ♪

♪ Building, building, up it goes, your imagination grows. ♪

♪ First you think with a pencil in your hand, ♪

♪ dreaming up buildings all across the land. ♪

♪ Schools and houses and museums too, ♪

Another Fabuloso day in the city of my childhood, Barcelona.

What a shame we'll be on the road again soon, but that's the

Circo lifestyle!

Fabuloso: Now, let's see... what's on the calendar

for my last day in this beautiful place?

Fabuloso: (gasp)

St. Jordi's Day?!

It cannot be!

Not that day, on today of all days!

I must protect my Circo family!

No one can know of this!

Carmen/Andy/Leo: Hi, Señor Fabuloso!

Fabuloso: Gaah! Children!

Have you been there the whole time?

Leo: Yup. Carmen: What's

Saint Jordi's Day?

Fabuloso: Uh, nothing. And never speak of it again!

Andy: Oh..kay?

Carmen: We're waiting for my new friend, Silvia.

She lives here!

Fabuloso: A new friend? Here in Barcelona?

Then I'm already too late...

Silvia: Good morning, Carmen!

Hi, Andy! Hi, Leo!

Carmen: Hi, Silvia!

Silvia: Happy St. Jordi's Day, Carmen!

Carmen: A book? For me?

Silvia: Of course.

Don't you know about St. Jordi's Day?!

Carmen: I just now heard about it, but someone doesn't want to

talk about it. Fabuloso: I have my reasons.

Silvia: I can tell you Carmen, or better yet...

let's ask the Magic Globe!

Carmen: Great idea!

Carmen: What's St. Jordi's Day, Magic Globe?

Andy: Also, can you tell us about where we are today?

Magic Globe: (giggles) Of course!

Today we are in Barcelona, a city in Catalonia,

a region of Spain.

In Barcelona, many people speak both Catalan and Spanish.

In this area, St. Jordi's Day is a celebration

of love and friendship!

St. Jordi's day is celebrated with the exchange

of books and roses between loved ones and friends.

Leo: Like how Silvia gave a book to her friend Carmen!

Magic Globe: That's right!

And one of the most popular places to shop for books and

roses on St. Jordi's Day is a street called "Les Rambles".

If you buy a book today, the author might even

be there to sign it for you!

Andy: Cool, an author!

What's an author?

Magic Globe: An author is a person who writes books.

Carmen: Very helpful.

Thanks, Magic Globe!

Magic Globe: Enjoy your last day in Barcelona, kids!

Carmen: Silvia, let's wait until I find a book for you,

and then we can exchange together.

Silvia: Okay.

Andy: Leo and I want to buy books too!

Leo: Maybe we should all go to Les Rambles to buy books!

Silvia: That's a great idea, Leo!

Carmen: Señor Fabuloso, will you take us to Les Rambles

for St. Jordi's Day?

Fabuloso: St. Jordi's Day?

Bah humbug!

Carmen/Andy/Leo/Silvia: (gasp)

Fabuloso: Children, I didn't want to say this,

but it's for your own good!

Friendship doesn't always last forever.

Sometimes friends grow apart, lose touch,

and it is all very, very sad.

That's why I think it's better not to celebrate

St. Jordi's Day at all!

Silvia: Aww, Señor Fabuloso...

Don't you have anyone to give a book to?

Fabuloso: I did once, a long time ago.

His name was Don Magnificoooo...

Fabuloso: We used to play together as children...

and one fateful St. Jordi's Day, we exchanged books...

But then I left Barcelona, we lost touch,

and I never saw him again!

Carmen: So you... won't take us to Les Rambles?

Fabuloso: As long as you know what you are getting into,

I have said my piece.

C'mon, let's go.

Carmen/Andy/Leo/Silvia: Hooray!

(singing)

Carmen: Wow, what a scene!

Leo: Look at all these friends exchanging books and roses.

Silvia: Les Rambles starts right over here.

Follow me!

Fabuloso: Right behind you, children!

Luna: Roses for the lovely ladies?

Happy St. Jordi's Day.

Carmen/Andy/Leo/Silvia: Luna!

Carmen/Silvia: ♪ Luna, come and play! ♪

Leo: ♪ Luna's here whaddaya say? ♪

Andy: ♪ Luna, Bright as day! ♪

Kids: ♪ Show us the world, lead the way! ♪

Luna: Welcome to Barcelona, everyone.

I've brought roses for all my friends.

That means you too, Señor Fabuloso.

Fabuloso: I appreciate the offer, but...

Get that thing away from me!

Carmen: Señor Fabuloso doesn't celebrate St. Jordi's Day.

Not since he lost touch with...

Don Magnifico...

Luna: Yes, I remember now...

Aww, cheer up Señor Fabuloso.

Anything can happen on St. Jordi's Day.

Fabuloso: Anything sad, you mean.

Let's just get this over with!

Silvia: Señor Fabuloso's story about Don Magnifico is so sad.

Do you think we'll lose touch too?

Carmen: I don't know...

but I still want to give you a book for St. Jordi's Day.

That way, when you read it, you'll always remember,

even if we never see each other again.

Luna: Hey, let's stop here!

I've got a good feeling about this book.

Silvia: Oh, how cute!

It's a book about two friends.

Carmen: Two friends in Barcelona!

Fabuloso: This book... it reminds me of someone.

Fabuloso: Riding bikes in the park...

Playing at the Beach... (gasps) No!

Fabuloso: I don't want to know how it ends!

What if they don't stay friends?

(cries)

Carmen: Hm? A sad book?

I don't want Silvia to be sad when she thinks of me!

Carmen: Maybe this isn't the right book...

Luna: Carmen, you don't even know how that story ends!

And you don't know how the story of you and Silvia

will end either.

Friendship is a wonderful thing that can last a lifetime,

but you'll never know if you don't try.

Fabuloso: Wait a moment...

Fabuloso: Don... Magnifico???

Magnifico: Yes? Hmm?

(gasp) Moncarlo! Moncarlo Fabuloso?!

Ah! I cant believe it my old friend how are you?

Fabuloso: Why I'm, I-I I'm...

Magnifico: Wait! Don't tell me, you're simply...

Fabuloso!

Fabuloso: (laughs) Yes, indeed I am!

Magnifico: You know I've been trying to write you for years

but you and that crazy Circo of yours are so hard to track down!

Fabuloso: You... you tried to write to me?

Magnifico: Many times!

But you are here now...

and you know what I always say: This is simply...

Fabuloso/Magnifico: MAGNIFICO!

(laughs) Magnifico: Si, si!

Magnifico: And those delightful children just bought my book.

It reminds me of when you gave me a very special book on

St. Jordi's Day when we were that age.

Fabuloso: Oh no...

Carmen: Silvia, I'm afraid Señor Fabuloso is right.

The Circo is moving on and we'll probably lose touch.

But I'm so happy to give you this book to remember me by.

Silvia: I had such a wonderful time with you Carmen.

It's too bad we'll never...

Fabuloso: Waaaiit! Children...

I'm terribly sorry!

Don't give up on your friendship!

Fabuloso: I was wrong, Carmen!

It can be hard to stay in touch, but true friendship is worth it!

Fabuloso: Here, you can send a postcard from every city we

visit to your friend Silvia...

and to show you it can work, I'll do the same with my old

friend Don Magnifico!

Carmen: You're Don Magnifico?

Magnifico: At your service.

Fabuloso: And I'm proud to call him my friend.

Luna: Now that's what I call friendship.

Silvia: And I'll write to you too, Carmen.

You'll always have a friendly message from me waiting

in every new city.

Carmen: It's a deal!

Carmen/Silvia: (giggles)

Fabuloso: Oh! What a wonderful last day in Barcelona

this was children! Happy St. Jordi's Day!

(laughs)

Andy: Leo, you're one of my best friends.

Happy St. Jordi's Day.

Here's a book to remember me by.

Leo: Thanks, Andy, but we both live at the Circo...

you'll see me tomorrow.

Andy: I know, I wanna make sure you remember me until tomorrow!

Andy/Leo: (laughing/giggling)

Carmen: (chuckles) And we'll probably see Luna tomorrow too,

right Luna? Luna?

Luna: The Moon is always around somewhere, Carmen.

Carmen: Luna!

Thank you so much for teaching us about friendship today.

Fabuloso: Yes, and thank you for reminding this old flamingo

about this spirit of St Jordi's Day.

Luna: What can I say? That's what friends are for.

Carmen: I am so happy I met Silvia in Barcelona.

I want to make even more friends!

Luna: Sometimes it seems like there isn't enough time to make

all the friends we want.

But remember there's always tomorrow.
