♪ It's a pinkatastic feeling ♪

♪ Anything can happen as we play the day away ♪

Pink, pink hooray!

PINKALICIOUS: "Indoor Camp-In."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Tonight is a very special night

because Peter and I are going to sleep outside, under the stars.

Ready, Peter?

Ready!

I've got my sleeping bag and my pillows.

And Fred.

He loves to camp out.

(giggles) Well, he should,

camping out is the best.

♪ ♪

Let's go and set it up.

There we go.

Two cozy, comfy sleeping bags,

and fluffy, feathery pillows.

I can't wait to sleep under the stars!

I'm going to make a wish on the first star I see.

What are you going to wish for, Pinkalicious?

I don't know yet.

But it's going to be something pinkatastic!

Hm.

I don't see any stars yet.

In fact,

it looks like it might rain.

It won't rain on our campout, Daddy.

I just know it.

Well, I hope you're right, Pinkalicious.

Night, Pinkalicious.

Good night, Peter.

Sleep tight, you guys.

We'll be right inside if you need anything.

Good night, Mommy and Daddy.

Night!

(sighs)

Don't you just love those sounds, Peter?

I sure do.

What sounds?

The sounds of nighttime.

The wind blowing... (wind blows)

The leaves rustling. (leaves rustle)

(crickets chirping)

And the crickets chirping.

They do sound really happy.

I wonder when the stars are going to come out?

I can't wait to make my wish.

(drip) (gasps)

Oh, no.

Was that a rain drop?

(drip)

Two raindrops.

(rain pattering)

Kids, you need to come inside.

(rain pattering)

No campout for us, I guess.

I was so excited about sleeping outside.

And wishing on a star.

I'm sorry it didn't work out tonight.

We know how much you wanted to sleep outside.

I wish I could bring everything inside

and have the campout here,

where there isn't any rain.

Wait a pinka-minute!

We can still have a campout.

We can have an inside campout!

So... like a camp-in?

Yes, Peter.

A camp-in!

We can make it look

like we're camping outside in nature.

With trees and leaves, and grass...

And crickets?

(chuckles) Of course!

I mean, what's a camp-in without crickets?

You can have it right here, in your bedroom.

Mommy, we always sleep in our bedrooms.

Tonight, we want to sleep someplace special, like...

(gasps) the living room!

Okay.

It's fine with me.

Yes!

A living room campout!

I mean, camp in? (laughing)

You know what I mean.

♪ ♪

We need lots of green grass...

And plants, too.

The trees are going to have lots of branches.

Don't forget the leaves.

Rocks really make it feel like we're outside.

Here are the crickets.

Hop, hop.

And what's this?

A pond, Daddy.

See? (all giggling)

Now, what else do we need?

(gasp) The stars!

We need lots and lots of stars.

We can paint them

with glow-in-the-dark paint.

Oh, and we need a moon.

♪ ♪

There!

All the stars are done.

Except for one.

Daddy, will you help me with this one?

(whispers) It's my wishing star.

(grunts)

Thanks, Daddy.

Now we can finally sleep under the stars,

and I can make my wish!

I'll just pink-imagine it's a real star.

Ooh.

♪ ♪

(chiming)

(giggling)

(giggling) Wow.

(whispering)

So what'd you wish for, Pinkalicious?

I can't tell you my wish, Peter.

Or it won't come true.

ALL: (awe-filled exclamations)

(chuckles) This is amazing!

Yay!

(both giggling)

Sleep tight, Pinkalicious and Peter.

Enjoy your inside campout.

We will! We will!

Hmm, something's not right.

It looks like we're outside.

But it doesn't sound like we're outside.

Yes.

It's way too quiet in here.

Exactly!

Where's the wind?

And the rustling leaves?

It's not raining too hard anymore.

How about we open the window?

Good idea!

(gasps) I can hear all the nighttime sounds again.

The wind, (wind blows)

the leaves... (leaves rustle)

What about the crickets?

(crickets chirping)

There they are.

(imitating cricket) (laughing)

(contented sighs)

(fluttering sound)

Pinkalicious, did you see that light?

Yes, but that's not a light.

Those are fireflies.

They must have come in through the window.

Is that what you wished for?

No.

But what a pinkerrific surprise!

Maybe the fireflies came for the camp-in.

(both giggling)

(giggling)

They can be our night light and stay here.

Hmm, but how can I get them into the jar?

Maybe when the fireflies flash their lights,

we can flash our flashlights the same way.

Then they'll think we're fireflies and fly into the jar.

♪ ♪

(clicking)

It's working!

It's the best night light ever.

I agree.

Good night, Peter. Good night.

Pinkalicious?

The fireflies are too bright.

I can't fall asleep.

Me neither.

Fireflies, thank you for being our night light.

But it's time to go back outside.

Out you go, little fireflies.

See you again soon!

I think they'll be very happy out there.

And now, we can finally get to sleep.

(frog croaking)

Ah!

Peter, what's wrong?

There's a frog on my head!

Oh! (giggles)

(croaking)

(both giggling)

He must have come through the window.

(croaking)

I'm glad he came to our camp-in.

A-ha!

Is that your wish?

(laughs) No.

(croaking)

Excuse me, Mr. Frog.

You can't stay in here.

You're too loud.

You belong outside.

(croaking)

He's so cute! (croaking)

Come back here, Mr. Frog.

(giggling)

No, Mr. Frog...

Where'd he go?

(croaking)

(gasps) There he is!

Oof!

(croaking) (giggling)

Mr. Frog, you can't be in here.

You need to go back outside-- please?

(splashes)

PETER: He jumped into the pond!

Silly frog, that's not a real pond.

(both giggling)

Peter, that's it!

We can bring the pretend pond outside.

Then the frog will follow it.

♪ ♪

(splashes) (both giggling)

It worked!

The frog's outside.

(chuckles) And we are all wet.

Come on, Peter, let's go dry off

and get back in our sleeping bags.

Our camp-in has been funtastic.

Almost as much fun as camping out.

I'll say.

Good night, Peter.

(yawning): Good night, Pinkalicious.

(whispers): Good night, wishing star.

I hope you can make my wish come true.

Peter, do you think my wish will come true?

(snoring) Peter?

Peter, look!

No rain!

Not a cloud in the sky.

No rain?

So, was that your wish?

Not exactly.

But later you'll find out what my wish was.

This was my wish, Peter.

Sleeping outside!

Oh.

That's a good wish.

Maybe I'll make a wish on a star, too.

(whispering)

(croaking)

(giggles) Mr. Frog!

See, Pinkalicious?

My wish came true, too.

(giggling)

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Peter and I had

a pinkaperfect night sleeping under the stars.

And Mr. Frog had a frogerrific night, too.

(croaking)

KIDS: That's artelicious!

Peter and Pinkalicious brought the outdoors inside.

So we're going to do the same thing.

We're going to have a day at the beach

GIRL: We're spreading out this cloth,

because we want to make the floor look like sand.

(clinking)

BOY : Me and my mom have been collecting these shells

for years.

What we need is a palm tree.

Great job.

Wow, this looks like a real palm tree.

Wow, yeah.

(coughs)

Polka dots.

Pinkalicious would love these a lot.

Thanks, Mom.

Now that we have a beach, we need an ocean.

We're sticking blue paper on the wall

and making fish out of paper plates.

We're decorating the fish and giving them fins and tails.

♪ ♪

(all giggling)

Swim, swim!

Swimming with the fish is so much fun.

GIRL: We have palm trees,

sea shells,

sand, and beach toys,

and even an ocean.

Everything we need

for a day at the beach.

(record playing)

(seagull sound effects)

PINKALICIOUS: "The Flutterbugs."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Today is a perfect day

for a pinkerrific tea party.

Pink plates,

pink napkins, pink tea cups...

There.

Now we just need the pink cupcakes.

Aren't they pinkatastically perfect?

They do look yummy.

(giggles)

Our tea party is ready.

♪ We're having a pinkatea party, tea party, tea party ♪

♪ Having a pinkatea party for all my friends and me. ♪

♪ We're having a pinkatea party, tea party, tea party ♪

♪ Having a pinkatea party... ♪

(melodic buzzing)

Huh?

Peter, did you hear that?

It sounded like...

buzzing music.

I heard it!

I think it was coming from there.

No, there!

No... uh...

Hmm, maybe it was from over there,

near the bushes.

(whispers): Come on.

I don't see anything.

Me either!

KENDRA: What are you doing?

Oh, hi, Kendra.

We heard something and weren't sure...

oh, never mind.

Come in-- the pinkerrific tea party is starting.

Well, where's everyone else?

JASMINE: Here we are!

Hi Jasmine, hi Lila!

Ooh, I like your hat.

It's perfect for a pinkatea party.

Thank you!

Oh, it's so pink.

I love it!

Come on, everyone.

It's pinkatea time!

(all giggling)

♪ We're having a pinkatea party, tea party, tea party ♪

♪ Having a pinkatea party... ♪

(melodic buzzing)

(gasps) There it is again!

There what is again?

The buzzing music.

Who is making that sound?

♪ ♪

What are they?

I don't know.

I've never seen them before.

I know what they are.

They're flutterbugs!

Flutterbugs?

Flutterbugs!

I saw them in my "Big Book of Bugs."

They have pink wings,

and they love sweets.

But why are they here?

They must be here for the cupcakes!

They are so cute.

Jasmine, Kendra, Lila?

What's wrong?

Pinkalicious, I don't like those flutterbugs.

Me neither.

They're flying so close.

(shouts)

Ew, this one's crawling on my arm.

But Lila, when they fly close,

maybe it means they want to play!

And Jasmine, when they crawl on my arm,

I think it kind of tickles.

(giggles)

And look how they loop-de-loop around

and around and around.

Sorry, Pinkalicious.

I really love your pinkerrific tea party.

But I don't want to stay

if there are going to be flutterbugs here.

Me neither.

Sorry, Pinkalicious.

Sorry, Pinkalicious.

Oh, no.

We have to have our tea party.

Maybe I can shoo the flutterbugs away.

Shoo, bugs, please shoo!

They're not shooing.

Wait.

(gasps) Peter, remember how you said

flutterbugs like sweet things?

Maybe if I hold out a cupcake,

I can get them to follow me.

Follow you where?

Hmm...

(gasps) I know!

I can take them to the park.

But I need to hurry.

I don't want to miss my own tea party.

I can help with that.

Hop on!

Thanks, Peter.

Don't go anywhere, okay?

I'll be right back!

There you go, flutterbugs.

I think you'll be very happy here.

Goodbye!

Now we can get back to the tea party.

♪ We're having a pinkatea party, tea party, tea party ♪

(melodic buzzing)

(gasps) Peter, stop!

I thought I heard the flutterbugs.

I don't see anything.

I know I heard them.

It must have been my imagination.

You do have a big one.

(both giggling)

We're back!

Um, by "we," you mean just you and Peter, right?

No flutterbugs?

No flutterbugs.

They're at the park.

With the cupcake!

(gasps) Now we can have our tea party!

That's right.

Now where were we?

Oh, yes.

Pinkalicious, look!

Flutterbugs, what are you doing here?

You're supposed to be at the park.

Maybe they finished the cupcake and are hungry for more.

Flutterbugs are fast eaters, you know.

I learned that from my book too.

Well, then I'll just have to take them back.

And this time, I'll leave them more cupcakes.

I'll get my scooter.

One, two, three, four cupcakes.

Okay, flutterbugs, now you have more than enough to eat.

So don't follow me home, okay?

I really want to have my tea party.

♪ We're having a pinkatea party, tea party, tea party ♪

♪ Having a pinkatea party... ♪

(melodic buzzing)

Not again!

(melodic buzzing)

Wait a second.

♪ We're having a pinkatea party, tea party, tea party ♪

♪ Having a pinkatea party... ♪

(melodic buzzing)

(gasps)

Peter, do you hear that?

Whenever I sing my song, the flutterbugs buzz.

It's like they're singing part of my song!

That's amazing.

Pinkamazing.

I think there's something

flutterbugs love more than cupcakes:

Singing!

They want to sing the song with us!

Pink-imagine that!

(choir buzzing pinkatea party song wordlessly)

(cheers and applause)

Peter, wait till Jasmine and Kendra and Lila find out

the flutterbugs are singing my song!

They're going to love them.

I just know it.

Jasmine, Lila, Kendra!

Oh no!

The flutterbugs are back.

That's what I wanted to tell you.

We thought they were gone for good.

They were, but...

Pinkalicious,

I just don't want to stay here with the flutterbugs.

But...

I'm sorry, Pinkalicious.

I really am.

Bye, Pinkalicious.

What about the tea party?

How am I supposed to have a tea party

if no one is here to have the party with me?

I'm here.

That's true.

(sighs)

And the flutterbugs are here.

Wow, I think they want to have a tea party!

(laughs)

They do.

(gasps) They do!

Peter, I have a pinkacredible idea!

We can have a pinkerrific pink tea party...

for the flutterbugs!

(both laughing)

Hey, Pinkalicious,

I just forgot my hat.

Whoa!

What are you doing?

We're having a tiny tea party.

But, who was singing?

BOTH: We are!

And the flutterbugs.

Listen!

♪ The flutterbugs and me ♪ (melodic buzzing)

They're singing back to you.

I know!

Do you want to try it?

I guess we could try it...

They sang back to me.

(giggling)

You know, when they crawl on my arm, it does kind of tickle.

And I didn't really notice before,

but they do seem very playful.

I guess they are kind of cute. (giggles)

So, will you stay for the tea party?

We'll stay!

Oh, all right! Yeah!

Woohoo! Woohoo!

But Pinkalicious?

Could we have a tiny tea party...

with the flutterbugs?

(laughs)
