Pinkalicious (voiceover): today, I'm going to play with my pet unicorn, goldie,

All day.

Goldie!

Tree-la-la-la!

Was that the ice cream truck?

Hi, pinkalicious!

I just heard the strangest bird.

It went, "tree-la-la-la."

(Giggles): it's me!

I'm calling my unicorn, goldie.

But where is she?

Can you help me call her?

Sure!

All: tree-la-la-la!

Come and play, goldie!

All: tree-la-la-la!

Pinkalicious: there she is!

Hi, goldie!

Hello, goldie.

I love your mane!

It's so soft.

I'm so glad you can see her.

Not everybody can.

(Whinnying)

What's that, goldie?

You want to play freeze tag?

You're on, goldie!

Wow, we're going to play freeze tag

With a unicorn!

Watch out, she's really good at tagging with her nose.

(All laughing)

Help, I'm frozen!

(All laughing)

Goldie got me!

(All giggling)

Jasmine: yay!

(All laughing)

Hi, kendra!

We're playing freeze tag-- do you want to play?

Okay.

But, um, who is doing the freezing?

Goldie.

Goldie?

My unicorn.

Oh, your imaginary unicorn.

I can see her.

Both: me, too!

Well, I can't.

Not everybody can.

Try closing your eyes and picturing her in your head,

Then maybe you'll see her.

(Both laughing)

It's not working.

Okay, try picturing this.

Pinkalicious: ♪ picture a unicorn ♪

♪ With a long, golden horn ♪

♪ And a coat of creamy white ♪

♪ Think of a unicorn ♪

♪ With the softest mane ♪

Kendra: no.

But I wish I could.

It would be so fun to play freeze tag with a unicorn.

Then how about you go for a ride with me?

Maybe that will help you see her.

How can I climb on a unicorn I can't see?

Hmm, maybe there's something else you can do with goldie.

It's too bad unicorns can't roller-skate.

That's my favorite thing to do.

But goldie loves to roller-skate.

She has skates?

Of course!

They fit right on her pink hooves.

Wow, I've never roller-skated with a unicorn before.

Come on, let's get our skates!

Okay, goldie, let's...

(Whinnies)

Wait for us!

Goldie wants to pull us!

(All exclaiming)

Grab goldie's tail, kendra!

I don't see a tail, or goldie.

That's okay, I've got it!

I'm sorry, I tried,

But I just can't see her.

I give up.

Kendra!

Wait!

Don't give up yet!

There must be something we can do

To help kendra see goldie.

Too bad we don't have unicorn-seeing glasses.

(Giggles)

(Giggles)

Wait.

Maybe goldie has an idea.

Goldie?

Where'd she go?

Peter (gasps): the gate's open.

Oh, no.

If goldie went out, she might get lost!

Tree-la-la-la!

Tree-la-la-la!

Tree-la-la-la! Tree-la-la-la!

Kids (in distance): tree-la-la-la!

All: tree-la-la-la!

What's going on?

What's that "tree-la-la-la" sound?

We're calling goldie.

Someone left the gate open.

And goldie ran away.

She might be lost!

Oh, no.

I forgot to close the gate.

I'm so sorry, pinkalicious.

It's okay, I'm sure you didn't mean to.

We better go look for her.

Where do you think she would go?

Well, she loves to graze on grass.

But there's grass right here.

All that running around, maybe she got thirsty.

She loves to drink from fountains

And splash in them, too!

Peter and I can check the town fountain.

Right.

And I'll check the one in the park.

I wish I could help you look.

(Sighs): but I can't see her.

That's okay, you can help me call her.

Let's go!

Kendra, you keep calling while I search.

If I were a unicorn, where would I go?

Hmm.

Goldie really likes to play, right?

Oh, she loves to play.

Then what about the playground?

Good idea!

Do you see her?

No.

I was really hoping she'd be here.

(Sighs): me, too.

If only I could see goldie,

I'm sure I could find her.

I just need to picture her.

Maybe if you really, really want to see her,

You will.

(Whinnying)

Goldie wants to play freeze tag again.

Run, everybody!

(All laughing)

Help, goldie tagged me!

(All laughing)

Pinkalicious (voiceover): anyone can have that unicorn feeling.

Just close your eyes and picture goldie.

Kids: that's artalicious!

We're going to play flash card charades.

The person who's it has to draw a card,

And whatever they see on the card,

They have to try to move like it.

They cannot use their voice,

They can only use movement and body.

And the other people have to try to guess

What they're trying to be.

Penguin! No!

(All laughing)

Boy : a jellyfish.

Girl : oh, a ballerina.

A monkey?

No.

A bird? A puppet.

Yes!

(Voiceover): when you don't know what the card is,

The person can look really silly.

Machine. A chicken, a chicken.

Someone riding a bicycle.

Boy : an alien.

A dancer.

♪ ♪

A robot.

Yes!

(Groan)

Girl : oh, nice one.

(Laughing)

Boy : a snake.

A dog.

Boy : an angry goat.

A ninja.

Girl (laughing): that is so funny.

Boy : uh, someone making a snow angel?

Girl : you look hilarious!

A baby!

Yes!

Mermaid. A dolphin.

What is she?

A whale?

♪ ♪

Someone eating an ice cream cone.

Um...

Ballerina. A monkey.

Boy : a chicken?

Boy : a unicorn!

Girl : okay, we give up.

Tell us.

I was a giraffe.

I was trying to be tall. All: oh!

Why did we not guess that?

It's really cool to use your body

And pretend to be different things.

I love charades.

Oh!

Pinkalicious: "school rules."

Pinkalicious (voiceover): today, goldie and I are playing our favorite game:

Princess school.

Good morning, class.

I am your teacher, ms. Pinka-princess.

(Whinnying)

Now, goldie, please take your seat.

Princesses can't run around the classroom.

That's the rule.

There are lots of rules in princess school.

(Whinnies)

Thank you, princess goldie.

And now it's time for math.

Who knows what three plus one is?

Raise your hand

If you know the answer.

Yes, princess goldie?

(Whinnies four times)

Four!

That is correct, goldie.

What a smart princess you are!

Mom: pinkalicious!

Time for school!

One more minute, please, mommy?

Goldie and I are playing princess school.

Now, class, it's time for snack.

Princess goldie?

Would you like a delicious apple slice?

(Munching) princess goldie!

Just one slice for each princess, remember?

That's the rule in princess school.

(Knock on door)

Pinkalicious, mommy says now, or you'll miss the bus.

Aww, but goldie and I are having so much fun!

(Sighs): she misses me so much when I'm at school.

And I miss her.

Too bad goldie can't go to school with you.

(Gasps): peter!

That's a peterrific idea!

I can take goldie to school!

Wait, I didn't mean... (Bus honks)

Oh, there's the bus!

That's okay.

I'll ride goldie to school.

Uh-oh.

(Munching)

(Gasps): no, goldie!

That's ms. Penny's apple!

Pinkalicious, you know the rule.

No eating until snack time.

Sorry, ms. Penny.

I didn't eat the apple.

It was goldie, my unicorn.

(Puzzled): your unicorn?

Yes!

I brought her to school with me today!

Don't worry if you can't see her, ms. Penny.

Not everybody can.

I'm sorry, pinkalicious,

But unicorns aren't allowed in school.

Even ones not everybody can see.

That's the rule.

Oh, please, ms. Penny?

Can she stay just this once?

She promises she won't eat until snack time.

Please?

(Sighs): okay, pinkalicious.

But you'll need to teach her all the school rules.

Okay, class.

It's reading time.

Please open your books and read silently.

(Whinnies happily)

You'd like to be a ballerina?

Here, try this dance move, goldie.

This one's easy to do.

Watch.

Now hold your front hooves like this.

That will help you spin.

(Laughing)

Pinkalicious, this is reading time.

Oh, sorry, ms. Penny.

Goldie and I were reading a book about ballet dancing.

And now goldie wants to be a ballerina.

Well, please tell goldie it's not unicorn dancing time.

It's reading time,

And she needs to stay in her seat.

Okay.

Maybe we better pick another book, ms. Penny.

One without any dancing.

(Chuckles): that's a very good idea.

This one, goldie?

(Whinnying)

(Gasps)

Pinkalicious!

Sorry, ms. Penny.

Goldie really wants to read the big book of unicorns.

I didn't know unicorns could read.

Oh, she loves books as much as I do.

That's wonderful!

I really do wish I could see her.

But if she can't behave, she'll have to go home.

Don't worry, ms. Penny.

She'll behave-- won't you, goldie?

(Whinnies)

As long as she does her unicorn best.

Now, class,

If we have three oranges,

And we add four more oranges,

How many oranges do we have all together?

(Whinnying seven times)

(Gives final whinny)

Ooh!

Goldie knows the answer.

It's seven.

(Children laughing)

Pinkalicious!

Goldie needs to raise her hand.

Or.. Uh... Her hoof.

That's the rule.

Did you hear that, goldie?

You can't call out the answer,

No matter how much you want to.

Now, class, it's time for art.

Today, we're going to paint pictures of horses.

Cool!

I love drawing horses!

Pinkalicious: wow, that's really good, rafael.

(Groans)

That's not right!

Is there a problem, pinkalicious?

Horses are hard to draw, ms. Penny.

Yes, I know.

But just keep trying.

It doesn't have to be perfect.

I keep messing up!

But pinkalicious, you draw unicorns all the time.

Just draw a unicorn without the horn.

(Gasps): you're right, rafael.

Maybe goldie can help.

Goldie!

Imagine you're a horse,

And I'm an artist painting your picture.

(Moans)

Ms. Penny: now, who can find timbuktu on the map?

(Bell rings)

It's time for recess.

(All laughing)

Now we can play whatever we want.

You can be a ballerina or a racehorse or...

(Whinnying)

What's she doing?

She's pretending she's a unicorn

In the unicorn rodeo!

Unicorn rodeo?

Let's be cowgirls and cowboys.

Oh, I've got a lasso.

(All laughing)

All right!

Who wants to ride the rodeo unicorn with me?

Giddy-up!

Rafael: yee-haw!

(All laughing)

Recess is over!

Please line up, class.

(All groan)

We didn't get to finish our rodeo show.

We can play later, goldie.

(Whinnies)

Oh, maybe later,

We can go roller-skating, too, goldie!

Goldie?

(Gasps): no, goldie!

You can't roller-skate in school!

Hey, no cutting!

I have to catch goldie!

Wait, pinkalicious--

Watch out for vice principal crunk, goldie!

Whoa-ho-ho!

Hold on there.

Slow down!

There's no running in the hallway, pinkalicious.

You know the rule.

(Breathlessly): I'm sorry, mr. Crunk.

My pet unicorn.

I need to tell her there's no roller-skating in school!

And there are no unicorns allowed, either--

Even ones I can't see.

I'm afraid goldie will have to go home.

But ms. Penny said she could wait outside.

I told pinkalicious,

Goldie had to wait outside for her.

Goldie was supposed to stay on the playground.

Well, it doesn't seem like goldie's following the rules.

And neither is pinkalicious.

I just don't understand it.

Goldie always follows all the rules

When we play princess school at home.

She's my best student.

That's it!

I think I know how to get goldie

To follow the rules!

If you'll just give her one more chance...

Well, I can't see goldie,

So I can't give her another chance.

Please, mr. Crunk?

(Whinnies once)
