♪ Anything can happen as we play the day away ♪

PETER: "Peterrific."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Peter's playing with his favorite toy.

Pinkalicious, do you have any blocks?

I'm about to run out.

I'm sorry.

I'm busy reading.

I want to build a giant tower all by myself.

Really?

I never get to do anything all by myself.

My tower will be so tall,

I'll be able to get a star from the sky

and give it to Mommy.

Wow!

I want a star too.

Can you get one for me?

Please?

Sure!

But,

I'm running out of blocks.

I might not have enough to make it that tall.

(gasps): We can borrow some blocks from next door.

I'll go get them.

Really? Thanks!

In fact, I'll ask everyone in Pinkville

if we can borrow their blocks.

Maybe we can get enough

for you to build your all-the-way-to-the-stars tower.

(laughing)

All right!

I'm going to draw what I want it to look like.

My up-to-the-stars tower is going to be the best tower ever.

♪ ♪

♪ Rising up to the sky, a million feet high ♪

♪ Oh, my tower will be the best yet ♪

♪ And when my tower is done, I'll say hello to the sun ♪

♪ Then we'll sing a duet ♪

♪ I'll slide on a sunbeam, dance on a cloud ♪

♪ Gathering stars all around ♪

♪ It'll be so much fun, I might never come down ♪

♪ I'll feel the wind on my face as I go up into space ♪

♪ Even higher than birds ever go ♪

♪ I'll twirl around on the breeze ♪

♪ And catch a flying trapeze ♪

♪ As I put on my own show ♪

♪ I'll slide on a sunbeam, dance on a cloud ♪

♪ Gathering stars all around ♪

(giggles): Maybe you should clean up the mess first.

That's another thing that's going to be so great

about my tower.

No one can tell me I have to clean up.

I won't have to do any chores on my tower.

(rattling)

(gasps): Oh, no!

It's coming apart.

I need something to hold it together.

Maybe there's some hold-a-tower-together stuff

It feels sturdier already.

(chuckling): Go, Peter, go!

Look at all the blocks I found.

Could you please hand me some more?

Can you get me a basket and some blankets?

Oh, it's just for a tower Peter's building.

Okay.

And can you please bring me my telescope?

I'll need it if I make it all the way to the moon.

I want to see if it's actually made out of cheese.

(giggling)

(laughing): What kind of cheese?

Swiss cheese, cheddar?

Parmesan?

Or maybe stinky cheese.

(both giggling)

PINKALICIOUS: Here you go.

And here are some crackers,

just in case the moon is made of cheese.

And Peter, I'm also putting a little something extra

in the basket for later,

in case you need to get down in a hurry.

Um, okay, Pinkalicious.

(laughing faintly): Yay!

What's going on out there?

Let's go find out.

Look!

Hey, Peter, what are you doing?

Peter's building the tallest tower ever.

Hi, Mommy, hi, Daddy.

Hey, buddy!

Do you need some help coming down?

Don't worry, I'll be back soon,

I just need to finish my tower.

♪ ♪

PETER (satisfied): Ah, finished!

Everything looks so small, but the sky is so big and bright.

I can see the whole universe!

(shouting and echoing): Hello!

(giggles)

I can't hear Mommy or Daddy or Pinkalicious anymore.

I like it up here.

I am so high up.

(humming notes on kazoo)

(gasps): No one can tell me I'm playing too loudly.

I don't have to share my toys.

Or clean them up.

Ah, I really did it.

I built the tower all by myself.

I knew I could do it.

My tower is perfect.

(gasps): A sh**ting star!

Maybe I can catch it and take it back to Mommy.

Uh-oh, I forgot to bring my net.

Oh, but I've got my telescope.

I can see if the moon is really made out of cheese.

Ooh.

Nope.

(chuckling): Definitely not cheese.

(shouting): Hey, Pinkalicious,

the moon is not made out of cheese!

Pinkalicious!?

(sadly): Oh, Pinkalicious, isn't here.

I'm all alone.

(wind whistling)

It's really dark.

(shivering): And really cold.

I'm hungry.

♪ ♪

Guess I'll eat my crackers.

(sighs): Without cheese.

(munching)

It's a little lonely up here.

(sighs)

♪ ♪

(gasps): Oh, no!

There's no way for me to get down!

(creaking)

What's that creak?

(gasps): What if my tower falls down?

(yawning): I have to fix it.

I'm so sleepy.

I'll figure it out tomorrow.

♪ Alone in my tower just isn't much fun ♪

♪ With the people you love on the ground ♪

♪ I've seen the moon and stars ♪

♪ I just want to come down ♪

(sniffling)

I am not going to cry.

(snoring)

(creaking)

Uh-oh, the tower's a little shaky.

(gasps): Will you give me a ride,

Mr. Bird?

(creaking)

What am I going to do?

There has to be a way down.

I need a plan.

Maybe there's something in the basket I could use.

(gasps): A parachute!

Pinkalicious must have put this in here.

(tower pieces tumbling)

I need to be brave.

What would Pinkalicious do if she were here?

(breathing deeply)

Think pink!

Woo-hoo!

Hey, birdie!

Look, I can do a somersault.

Whee!

♪ ♪

(gasps): There he is!

Oh, Peter!

Hey, everybody.

Whee!

Whoa!

(creaking)

The tower, it's falling.

Look out! (all shouting)

(crashing)

(sighs with relief)

Give me a hug.

Oh, I'm so happy you're back.

We missed you.

I missed you so much too.

♪ ♪

Oh.

I'm sorry, I promise not to build anything ever again.

What?

No.

You're a good builder.

In fact, you should build it again.

Really?

Oh, yes.

But your next tower should be a little smaller and safer.

And you will definitely need a proper way to get down.

Okay.

Hey, where are you going?

To plan my next tower.

PETER: Come on, Pinkalicious.

♪ ♪

My next tower will have an elevator powered by the wind

as the way to get up to the top

and a slide as the way to get down.

And together, we're going to catch a sh**ting star.

I can't wait, Peter.

You're the best brother in the world.

In fact, you are Peterrific.

(voiceover): One day Peter and I will make it to the stars.

Then we can slide all the way home.

KIDS: That's artalicious!

KID : We're making a cardboard city.

A city out of boxes.

We saved our boxes to make this.

We are designing.

KID : It takes a lot of time, but it has lots of creativity.

We are trying to make a park.

This is probably going to be on the lower side.

Yeah, that's a good idea, that's a good idea.

This is a sculpture for our park.

KID : I like it, because it reminds me of a shell.

We used construction paper to decorate.

KID : The city's starting to look colorful.

♪ ♪

We're going to make a road around the town.

The center of our city is for people, nature, and bicycles.

And no cars.

KID : I think if we put the grass down first,

and then we can just put the buildings on top of the grass.

We're going to design the layout of the city.

KID : Right in the center we have city hall.

And we have a library, a hospital...

KID : This is a baseball stadium.

KID : We had city meetings.

What do you think it should be named?

How about Recycleville?

KID : What about Recycleville City?

Who votes on Recycleville City?

Ikay made an origami goose.

This goose is the symbol of the city.

KID : Welcome to Recycleville City.

♪ ♪

KID : After you build it, you feel very proud.

♪ ♪

PINKALICIOUS: "Mother's Day Surprise!"

(voiceover): It's Mother's Day,

and Peter and I are getting up early

to surprise Mommy with breakfast in bed.

(ticking)

(ringing)

(ringing stops)

(yawning)

♪ ♪

(whispering): Peter.

Peter.

(Peter yawning)

Peter, wake up.

(sleepily): Pinkalicious?

Why'd you wake me up?

I was dreaming about dinosaurs on roller skates.

It's Mother's Day, remember?

Oh, I forgot!

(shushing)

(whispering): We can't wake up Mommy.

It'll ruin our surprise.

♪ ♪

(snoring)

♪ ♪

(laughing): Look, I made stripes in Mommy's yogurt.

My fruit is smiling, so she wakes up to a happy face!

(laughing): Fruitastic, Peter.

Let's see what we've got so far.

Okay, we've got fruit and yogurt cup.

PETER: Check.

Happy fruit plate.

Check.

Flowers?

Right here.

Now we are ready to surprise Mommy.

Something's missing.

Oh, orange juice.

Ta-da!

But we still need that one pinkaperfect thing

that tells Mommy

she's the most super, fantastic mommy ever.

♪ Mommy is the greatest, Mommy we adore ♪

♪ We're making her some breakfast ♪

♪ But we wish we could do more ♪

♪ What would Mommy like the most ♪

♪ I wonder what we would give our lovely mommy ♪

♪ Yes, then she could fly ♪

♪ The biggest cupcake in the world ♪

♪ Sunshine in a jar ♪

PINKALICIOUS: ♪ A giant burst of fireworks, the sparkliest by far ♪

PETER: ♪ A fluffy cloud to float on ♪

PINKALICIOUS : ♪ A rainbow from above ♪

♪ But since we can't give any of those ♪

♪ We'll give her our love ♪

Yes!

BOTH: ♪ All our love ♪

♪ All our love ♪

♪ We'll give our mommy all our love ♪

So, what can we do that shows Mommy all our love?

Well...

(gasps): I could give her a ride on my scooter.

Or we could make her a card.

(gasps): And we can write her a poem inside!

A poem?

Sure.

A poem is a great way

to show how you feel about something--

or someone.

We can write down everything we love about Mommy.

I want it to say how fantastic Mommy is.

(gasps): What if we use words that describe Mommy

using the letters M-O-M-M-Y.

I'll get my new pink feather writing pen.

♪ ♪

Okay, so far we have a word to go

with almost every letter of the word "Mommy."

"Mommy.

"M-O-M-M-Y.

"M is for magnificent.

"O is for outstanding.

M is for merry."

I thought of merry!

(laughing): "M is for marvelous."

That's all the letters in Mommy...

except for Y.

What's a word that starts with Y

that tells Mommy how much we love her?

Hmm.

Y is for...

Hmm, Y is for...

Hmm. Hmm.

Finding a Y word describing Mommy isn't easy.

I can think of lots of Y words.

Me too.

Like yam.

Yodeling?

(yodeling, echoing)

Yo-yo.

Yellow?

(both laughing)

(yawning) (laughing)

Y is for yawn too.

None of those words describe Mommy.

We need a perfect Y word,

so Mommy really knows how much we love her.

(yawning): Can we take a break?

Sure, let's do something else for a while.

(gasps): Like clean up Mommy's workroom!

Aw, do we have to?

(chuckling): That'll really surprise her.

Almost done,

just a few more paints and brushes to put away.

(laughs): Look, Pinkalicious.

It's that robot we made.

Robotta.

Remember how she helped us clean our rooms?

(sighs): I wish we'd found her

before we cleaned the workroom.

Hey, maybe we can get Robotta

to help us do something nice for Mommy.

How about a hug?

Mommy loves hugs.

(pushing button)

(beeping)

Beep-blip-bloop.

Robotta.

Powering up, powering up.

(beeping)

Robotta, may I please have a hug?

Hug.

(laughing): She's doing it.

Aw, thanks, Robotta.

Robotta, may I have a hug too, please?

She's a real good hugger.

(kids laughing)

(gasping) PINKALICIOUS: Oh, no!

Ugh, missed! Got her!

I'll turn her off.

(voice fades)

Robotta wrecked everything.

And we didn't get to finish your present.

We were writing a poem just for you.

You mean this poem?

"Mommy."

Aw.

We couldn't think of a Y word.

We wanted it to be a pinkaperfect word

to say how much we love you.

But then Robotta went bonkers.

And we couldn't stop her, and now,

your Mother's Day is ruined.

MOMMY: It's not ruined.

And I know just how to finish the poem.

Y is for "You."

You two are what makes Mother's Day special.

And you don't care

that Robotta ruined your surprise?

Oh, she was very surprising and very funny.

And we can still eat all this fruit.

(all laughing)
