(rubber duck squeaking) (humming continues)

PINKERTON FAMILY: (humming their various songs)

(humming) (taps against window)

(wings fluttering)

(gasps) Oh!

(buzzes the same tune back)

(laughs) Ooh!

(humming) (invention creaking)

Hm, now, if I tighten this sprocket...

(humming)

(both flutterbugs buzz the same tune)

(buzzing in harmony)

(flutterbugs buzzing Peter's tune in harmony)

Oh, hi up there, too!

DAD: (humming)

(wings fluttering)

(all buzzing the same tune)

(humming concludes)

(chuckles) Is someone there?

Oh, you've seen them already.

DAD: (panicked yelling)

Daddy?

Help!

There was just some...

Oh, they're here too!

Bugs! Ewww!

Daddy,

these are flutterbugs.

And they're really friendly.

They just surprised me, is all.

(gasps)

Okay, what do you call them now?

(together): Flutterbugs!

We met them before

when we had a picnic with Kendra and Jasmine.

They sing what you sing!

That's incredible!

(chuckles nervously) ...everywhere!

(buzzes)

(gasps)

Could we maybe get them to be somewhere else?

it's safe to go back in the bathroom.

(flutterbug lands on cupcake)

(continues buzzing Peter's tune)

Peter, the flutterbugs are back!

Ugh, I know.

Funny, I'm not so hungry anymore.

Ugh!

(buzzes back at Peter)

Hey kids, did you know the flutterbugs are back?

(Dad screams)

They're... oh, they're back!

Yes, Daddy. (giggles)

Oh, right.

Good.

How are they coming in?

Maybe the more important question is

why are they coming in?

Huh, maybe they're hungry.

Hmm... (gasps)

Whee!

Or maybe they really like painting!

(hums tune)

(flutterbugs continue buzzing the melody)

I think it's the humming.

Huh?

I was humming while I painted.

That's when they first showed up!

when I was playing with my blocks.

I was humming in the workshop.

Me too, in the shower.

We know flutterbugs love to hum.

Our humming must have brought them in!

So, if we stop humming...

They might go!

Oh, thank goodness

there's a simple solution!

(sighs)

(humming)

Oof! (giggles)

(giggles) You were humming!

PINKALICIOUS: Shhh, flutterbugs!

DAD: Flutterbugs, shh, keep it down!

(buzzing continues)

RADIO DJ: It's : in the morning, Pinkville!

The sun is shining, and for all you early birds,

here's a very special track I like to play in the mornings,

get down and groove to this.

Oh, I can't believe those flutterbugs

buzzed all night!

Ugh, I'm so tired.

The not-humming plan is,

oof, not really working.

(sighs) Turns out we're a very musical family.

Ugh, we need another plan.

Ooh!

(flutterbugs buzzing to the radio music)

What if we give them some other music?

(giggles)

RADIO DJ: <span>And if you liked that,</span>

(Dad humming)

(all join in humming)

(all gasp)

(laughter)

Oh, golly...

DAD: Humming... no!

No humming!

KIDS: That's pinkatastic!

(playing piano)

♪ Make new friends ♪

♪ But keep the old ♪

This is Boston City Singers.

♪ One is silver and the other's gold ♪

Boston City Singers is basically a singing program.

Jane teaches us to sing.

JANE: And what I thought was really, really beautiful

was that top note, because that's really hard to sing.

♪ One is silver and the other's gold ♪

Singing is kind of like talking.

(kids all together) ♪ Do, re, mi, fa, so ♪

SINGER: And changing your voice in a way that

it's in a melody or a tune.

Do, re, mi, re...

SINGER: In a song there's a bunch of different notes.

And they are just sort of combined

into this one piece that just fits together perfectly,

and then you sing it out and it sounds beautiful.

(piano playing)

SINGER: When kids sing, it sounds really amazing.

♪ Make new friends ♪

♪ But keep the old ♪

SINGER: I like to sing because I can hear something

that I'm making.

Like, I am making these beautiful sounds.

♪ That's how long I want to be your friend ♪

(applause)

PINKALICIOUS: "Ballet of the Bells."

Oh, Whirly-Twirly pasta maker!

Hmm... where are you?

(together): Where are you?

(both giggling)

(bell ringing)

Something is ding-a-linging in here, Daddy.

Maybe it's a Ding-a-Lingy pasta maker!

(giggling)

It's a bunch of bells.

My bells!

I forgot all about these.

Why do you have so many bells, Daddy?

I used to play in a hand bell choir.

We played songs with these bells.

Do you want to hear one?

(uptempo bell music playing on record player)

(giggling)

(bell dings once)

(bell dings twice)

This time, try to keep the ding-a-ling-a-ling b*at.

(bell dinging rhythmically)

(Pinkalicious and Peter join in)

(clapping in time with the bells)

This is bellerrific, Daddy! (giggles)

(bell makes low-pitched ding)

(imitates bell tone): low.

(giggling)

I'm Bellerina.

I love bells.

When I heard "Ballet of the Bells"

I had to fly right over!

Oh, it's so much fun to dance to!

to play the whole song!

(imitates bell tone): Ding!

You know, if you learn the song,

the fairies will come dance to it.

Yes!

It's our favorite ballet.

(giggles)

I'll tell all the fairies

(giggles)

(bell clatters)

I found the Whirly-Twirly

(voice trails off): pasta maker...

What happened?

The ringy-thingy broke off.

You mean the clapper?

Well, they are very old bells.

I don't think I can fix it. Hmm...

Maybe we can get a new bell tomorrow.

Oh, but Daddy, we really need that bell!

It's the last note in "Ballet of the Bells."

Bellerina says that's the fairies' favorite song.

Hm, Bellerina?

The fairy!

She loves bells.

She came and danced while we were playing.

Wow, a fairy never danced

when I played that song.

She's gathering all the other fairies

to dance, right now!

That's why we need that bell!

Right, they'll only dance

if we play the whole song!

Ah, so it's urgent.

Well, maybe you can find something else

that sounds like a bell.

My favorite cup makes a bell sound

when I tap it with a spoon.

(dulled ding)

(pan clangs loudly) Ah!

(pan thuds) Oops!

The fairies are coming!

One of the bells broke.

Oh, oh, you mean you can't play the song?

The fairies will be so disappointed!

(gasps) The doorbell!

(doorbell chimes in two tones)

(chuckling): Oh!

There are too many dings!

What are we going to do?

We've dinged everything in Pinkville!

(sighs) I guess we can't
