PETER: Peterbunga!

Peter, what are you doing?

Just getting started!

What are you doing?

I'm having an art day. See?

I drew a picture of my bedroom,

and my favorite wand, and here's a picture of a...

Hey, what's that?

Could that be?

Could that be what?

A statue of Mr. Plum.

(gasps)

Wait.

That's not a statue of Mr. Plum...

That is Mr. Plum!

Mr. Plum! Mr. Plum!

We thought you were a statue of yourself.

(laughing): Oh, Plum's not a statue.

He's just posing for his portrait.

His por-what?

(laughing): Oh! His portrait, Peter.

That's what it's called when an artist

draws a picture of someone.

And to pose for one,

you've got to stand perfectly still,

like a statue, which is not always so easy.

But it is worth it!

(gasps)

Plum-tastic!

Wow!

PETER: It looks just like you, Mr. Plum!

Oh yes, this is one handsome portrait.

(laughter)

Hey!

I'm having an art day today.

I should draw a portrait, too.

Oh, that's a great idea, Pinkalicious.

Hmm...

But who should I draw a portrait of?

I want it to be exciting.

Peterbunga!

(laughter)

I think I have an idea.

If I can catch him, that is.

Oh!

Do you want to come over later to see my portrait of Peter?

I'm going to make it absolutely Peterrific!

We can't wait to see it!

Bye, Mr. and Mrs. Plum. (giggles)

PINKALICIOUS: Hm.

♪ ♪

Hm, still not right.

Ooh!

(giggles)

Perfect.

Perfect?

I feel like a rusty robot.

(robotic voice): Robots have to move.

Please let me move, Pinkalicious.

Peter!

Stop joking around.

You have to stay absolutely still.

You can't move a muscle.

Okay, okay.

Oh! Not even your lip muscle.

(mouth closed): Mm-kay.

Mm-hmm.

(squirrel chittering) Over here...

A little bit over there. (gasps)

Peter!

(exclaiming with mouth closed)

Huh?

Mm-mmm!

Ugh!

(squirrel chittering) Peter, you want me to do your portrait, right?

So you promise not to move, no matter what?

Okay.

DAD: Pinkalicious!

Peter!

Lunch is ready!

Yay! Lunch break!

(sighs)

(gasps) Your telescope!

What about it?

You like looking through it, right?

I love looking through it!

Well, then I'll draw you doing that.

If you're doing something you like,

that'll make it easier for you to stand still.

That makes sense.

Now I just need to pose you so you look natural.

There.

This is going to capture the real Peter Pinkerton.

Capture away!

Now hold still, Peter.

I'll be done before you know it.

(shocked): No.

Unbelievable!

What is it?

It-it can't be.

What?

It's...

A planet!

Pinkalicious, I just discovered a new planet!

This is huge news for the entire galaxy.

Woo-hoo!

(giggling)

Peter,

that's not a new planet.

That's the cherry on top of Mr. Swizzle's Ice Cream Shop.

I've discovered there's a cherry planet

on top of the ice cream shop?

That's even more incredible!

Yeah!

Okay, Peter.

I've got one more idea.

I'm going to draw as fast as I can,

so all you have to do is

stay still for just a little bit.

(gasps)

So bouncy...

Peter!

I'm drawing as fast as I can.

Just hold still a little longer.

So, so...

Bouncy!

He sh**t, he scores!

Peter Pinkerton does it again!

The crowd goes wild!

Uh, Peter?

Oops. (chuckles sheepishly)

I'm sorry, Pinkalicious.

Who knew I was so not good at standing still?

If only I had a way to keep up with you.

Ooh.

PETER: Woo-hoo!

♪ ♪

(gasps)

(giggles)

Yay!

I've pinka-got it!

You've pinka-got what?

An idea for how to finish your portrait.

Come on!

(bike horn honking)

Okay.

I'll skate right beside you, Peter,

so I'll be able to draw you even when you're moving.

Now, let's get going.

I want to finish your portrait

before Mr. and Mrs. Plum get here.

If you're telling me I need to go fast,

that is not going to be a problem.

Perfect, Peter.

Making a U-turn, huh?

Not a problem! (giggles)

Are you getting all of this, Pinkalicious?

This is some of my best scootering ever.

And this is some of my best

(unsteadily): drawing ever...

Whoa!

(gasps)

Oh no!

Whoa!

My drawings!

It's raining portraits!

(groans)

I'm sorry, Pinkalicious.

I guess I do move a lot.

It's just that there's so much to do

and I can't wait to do it.

Well, that's what makes you Peterrific.

MRS. PLUM: Ooh, anyone home?

Oh, hi, Mr. and Mrs. Plum.

I've got some bad news.

I didn't finish Peter's portrait.

You didn't?

Mostly because she couldn't catch me.

Since Peter likes moving around so much,

I had to draw really fast.

I could only draw a few lines before I had to start again.

May I see?

Okay.

Pinkalicious, these are...

Not finished, I know.

(laughing): No!

Wonderful!

BOTH: Huh?

Wait.

Are you sure you're looking at the drawings of me?

Yes!

They show so much movement.

(laughing): That's Peter all right.

I'd recognize you anywhere.

That's someone who really moves.

I move all the time.

That is me!

These are wonderful portraits, Pinkalicious.

They really capture who Peter is.

What great gesture drawings.

Gesture drawings?

Oh, that's what artists call

drawings that are done really quickly.

They're all about capturing

the way someone moves their body,

without every detail.

Oh, what a great collection.

You should show these to everyone.

Show them?

Like, in a show?

Why not?

Yes!

We could have a show-- an art show!

Right here in the backyard.

Can we have balloons?

Why not?

And we'll invite Jasmine and Mommy and Daddy

and we can all get dressed up in fancy hats

and have pink lemonade.

This is sounding like my kind of art show.

(laughter)

These paintings practically move before our eyes.

MR. PLUM: Such action.

PETER: Such great ability

by the person in the drawing to not stand still.

And no one's better at not standing still

than you are, Peter.

(laughter)

(Rusty barks)

(laughing): Rusty!

Almost no one!

I think I just found my next model.

Rusty, wait up!

(kids giggling)

PETER: Rusty!

KIDS: That's art-alicious!

We are drawing!

CHILD: Some people did portraits of each other.

(laughter)

And some people did plants.

CHILD: We're making our own style.

CHILD: I'm trying to make it so

it doesn't look too realistic,

but it kind of looks more cartoony.

I'm drawing the same plant

but a little different.

I'm using my imagination to add things.

I wanted to make it more fun.

They looked completely different.

Two different styles.

I like both drawings.

I'm doing a portrait of Megan,

and she's doing a portrait of me.

This is a drawing of my friend,

and it doesn't have to be perfect.

I'm using a pencil.

I like the pencil because it makes thin lines,

and the charcoal is good for when you're making thick lines.

CHILD: This is charcoal.

This is darker than a pencil.

I'm using the side of the charcoal.

It fills in a bigger area.

And I didn't make it look exactly the same as

this plant right here.

♪ ♪

Keep practicing and practicing,

and then once you get, like, used to it,

that's basically your style of drawing.

However you draw it is your style.

PINKALICIOUS: "Pink Peepers."

♪ ♪

♪ Pink, pink hooray, it's a pinkaperfect day ♪

♪ Because I'm eating pink ice cream! ♪

Yay, yay, yay! (giggles)

(frogs peeping)

Oh!

Peter, do you hear that?

It sounds like someone's playing the flute.

Or a lot of flutes.

(gasps) Listen! It's the Peepers.

The What-ers?

The Pink Peepers!

They're tiny frogs that peep in the spring.

Yeah, you see?

Everyone's come out to listen to them.

(peeping continues)

Look, Peter.

There they are!

Oh, they're adorable.

PETER: Look at their ziggy-zaggy legs!

How can something so small make such a big sound?

(loud peeping)

♪ Peep peep, peep peep, peep peep ♪

Oh!

(silence)

PETER: Wait, what?

Who turned off the peeping?

Why did they stop?

(frogs resume peeping)

♪ Peep peep, peep peep, peep peep ♪

(frogs stop peeping)

(frogs resume peeping) Let me try!

(high-pitched): ♪ Peep peep peep ♪

♪ Peep peep! ♪

(silence)

Well, that's just weird.

Hi, little Pink Peeper.

What's your froggy name?

What should I call you?

Hmm.

Oh, Lily!

(Lily peeps)

She's Lily the Leaper Peeper!

(giggling): Hello, Lily the Leaper Peeper!

I wish I could leap and peep with you.

♪ I'm leaping with the peeper and it's so fun to hop ♪

♪ From lily pad to lily pad, I never want to stop ♪

♪ Peepity peep ♪ (frogs peeps)

♪ Leapity leap ♪ (Lily peeps)

♪ I love to peep and leap with you ♪

♪ Leapity leap ♪ (frogs peep)

♪ Peeping and leaping the whole day ♪

(frogs peep melodically)

♪ The sun shines on the water and sparkles all around ♪

♪ The other peepers peep along, it's such a happy sound ♪

♪ Leapity leap ♪ (Lily peeps)

♪ I love to peep and leap with you ♪

♪ Peeping and leaping the whole day ♪

Oh Lily, how can I peep with you?

(Lily peeps) (gasps)

Peter, look!

I think Lily likes me.

Maybe if we take her home with us,

I can learn how to peep, too.

Hooray! We have a froggy pet!

Okay by you, Lily?

(peeps)

I think that's a yes. (giggles)

Mommy! Daddy!

This is my new friend, Lily.

Can she come home with us?

(hesitant): I don't know, Pinkalicious.

Taking care of another living thing

is a big responsibility.

Mommy's right.

You have to care for it and feed it

and make sure it's healthy and happy.

We'll make sure Lily's really happy, right, Peter?

Oh, the happiest.

Ooh!

(giggling)

(drawn out): Peep!

(high-pitched): Peep! Peep! Peep! Peep!

Peep!

Oh, Lily.

Why won't you peep with us?

Peep peep, peep peep.

Hi Pinkalicious, hey Peter.

Are you pretending you're car horns?

That's "beep beep," not "peep peep!" (giggles)

Maybe you can get Lily to peep.

Lily?

Oh, she's adorable!

I'll give it a try.

(softly): ♪ Peep peep peep ♪

♪ Peep peep peep peep ♪

(sighs)

Uboomba! Uboomba!

Huh? Huh?

Just trying something different.

Oh, it's no use!

Lily's not peeping at all.

You should hear her at the park, Jasmine,

when she's with all the other Pink Peepers!

Wait.

Why didn't I think of that before?

Lily only wants to peep when she's with her froggy friends.

Well, of course.

It's much more fun to peep with your friends.

(kids peep together)

(giggling)

You're right, Pinkalicious.

It is the most beautiful sound!

(frogs peeping) Whoa!

And look at them leap.

I love their ziggy-zaggy legs.

I know, right?

Here, Lily, why don't you go peep with your friends?

(peeps)

Don't you want to go back to the pond, Lily?

(Lily peeps) I think she's calling to them!

(Lily peeps)

(kids cheering)

(frogs peeping)

(giggles)

(frogs peeping)

Aww, they all want to be together.

Hey!

Why don't you peepers come home with Lily and us?

Pinkalicious, you don't have a pond.

But we do have a bathtub.

(frogs peeping)

Lily's peeping again.

Oh, Lily,

I knew you'd be happy peeping with your friends.

♪ Peep peep, peep peep ♪

(silence) Aw!

They still don't want me to peep with them.

That's 'cause you're not a peeper.

Hm...

Maybe I can be!

Hey peepers, look.

I can leap just like you!

You look like a peeper to me.

You even have ziggy-zaggy legs.

♪ Peep peep peep, peep peep peep ♪

(silence)

Oh!

Why'd they stop?

Well, you look like a peeper,

but you don't exactly sound like one.

You sound like Pinkalicious.

I thought I heard you kids-- (frogs peeping)

Oh!

You said you had just one peeper.

They all wanted to come home with us, Mommy.

DAD (whistling): Time for my shower--

Whoa! Okay!

You may need to wait, Perry.

We've got a tub full of peepers.

Pinkalicious, we said you could keep one.

This isn't a pond.

But they like it here.

And Lily's peeping again.

I really want to learn how to peep with them.

(sighing): Well, I guess my shower can wait.

For a little while.

But then we'll need to figure out a better place for them.

Okay.

Thanks, Mommy. Thanks, Daddy.

I better get to work on my peeping.

(peeping continues)

Okay, Lily, I think I know the trick.

I need to do my best listening,

then I'll be able to peep exactly like a peeper.

(very low peep): ♪ Peep ♪

(frogs stop peeping) Hmm. Too low.

(frogs peeping)

(high-pitched): ♪ Peep! ♪

(frogs stop peeping) Too high, hmm.

Somewhere in between.

♪ Peep! ♪

I think I've got it!

♪ Peep! Peep! ♪ (frogs peep loudly)

PARENTS: Huh?

I think she's got it!

(Pinkalicious and frogs peeping)

MOM: Pinkalicious!

Will you please come down here? ♪ Peep ♪

MOM (louder): Pinkalicious!

Oh hi, Kendra!

(loud peeping continues) Hi, Pinkalicious.

My mom says sorry, but she needs to take a nap.

Can you please turn down that whistling?

It's pretty, but it's too loud.

Oh, that's not whistling.

It's the peepers!

Pinkalicious!

The peepers are so loud,

we can hear them from my house.

They sound really beautiful, but my dad has a headache

and the noise is making his head hurt more.

Can you please make them stop peeping?

Pinkalicious, we're disturbing the neighbors.

Don't worry!

I know how to keep the peepers quiet!

I'll just sing the wrong note.

♪ Peep! ♪ (frogs stop peeping)

There!

That did it.

(frogs peep loudly)

(off-key): ♪ Peep! ♪

(silence)

(peeping resumes)

Mommy said you need to make the peepers stop peeping.

I'm trying!

But I can't keep peeping the wrong note all day.

That's the only thing that makes them stop.

I'll take a turn.

♪ Peep! ♪

(excited): They're peeping with me!

That's because you sang the right note.

DAD: Pinkalicious!

Peter!

I'm sorry, Mommy. I'm sorry, Daddy.

Look!

MOM: Everyone in Pinkville is coming to listen!

Oh, that's because the peeping is so beautiful.

But we can't have all these folks in our yard.

They're disturbing the peep-- I mean peace.

(giggling)

KENDRA: Pinkalicious!

My mom wants to know if you can please,

please get the peepers to stop peeping?

Pinkalicious, my dad's headache is getting worse.

I'm really sorry.

I tried, but the peepers just keep peeping.

I guess they're used to peeping whenever they want.

(sighing): I think they'd be happier in the pond.

Aww, but it's so fun having them in the bathtub.

We want the peepers to be happy, right?

And the neighbors, too.

And I really could use a shower. (chuckles)

Then there's only one thing to do.

It's time to take Lily and the peepers home.

(peeping continues)

Bye bye, my Lily the Leaper Peeper.

Now you can peep whenever you want.

(peeps)

(sighing): Oh, I'm going to miss peeping with her.

But now that you know how to peep with them, Pinkalicious,

you can peep along any time you want!

Peter! You're right!
