♪ In a pinkamazing way

♪ On a pinkaperfect day

♪ Anything can happen as we play the day away ♪

♪ It's a Pinkalicious feeling

♪ Peterrific you might say

♪ Pinkalicious and Peterrific

♪ Pinkalicious pink, pink hooray! ♪

PINKALICIOUS: "Fishtastic."



[Pinkalicious humming]

[humming continues]

[chuckles]

That's some happy humming, Pinkalicious!

That's because I can't wait to go fishing at the beach!

[Peter humming]

Me either!

I wonder what we'll find.

[gasps]

Wow!

Sparkly sea stars!



A puffy pufferfish!

[giggles]

[holds breath]

[giggles]



Wow!



[giggles]



There are so many pinkamazing fish!

I'm going to find the most pinkatastic fish in the sea!

Well, I'm going to catch the biggest fish in the sea!

I've been practicing.

Look!

Huh?

[chuckles]

Nice catch!

[giggling]

Okay, I think that's everything we need.

Then what are we waiting for, Pinkertons?

To the beach!To the beach!

[all humming]

[waves crashing, seagull squawking]



Here, fishy-wishy-wishy.

[both laughing]

Here, pink-thingy-wingys.

[both laughing]

[gasps]

I-I think I've caught something!

[seagulls squawking]

Is it a fish?

Oh! Is it a crab?

Pull it up! Pull it up! Pull it up!

[straining]: Okay, Peter, get ready for the...

[grunting]: ...most pinkatastic catch ever!

[Pinkalicious grunts]

[gasps]

It's a...

a smelly, soggy, boot...

[laughs]

[laughing]: Ew!

Well there's plenty more fish in the sea.

Or boots...

[laughs]

[gasps]

[rustling]

Ooh! Now I've got a bite!

[grunts]

[straining]: This is going to be

the biggest, most awesome fish you've ever...

[groans]



[cries out]

[giggling]: I like your new hair!

Seaweed?! Yuck!



Can I try with the rod?

I think I'll have better luck with it.

Sure.

Don't worry, Peter, we've got all day to fish!



[both humming]



[sighs]

[groans]: Another shell!

I don't get it.

Where are all the fish today?

[sighs]

[gasps][whirring]

Peter!

[reel whirring]

Whoa!

I've got something!

And it's definitely not a boot!

[whirring continues]



[gasps]

It's a fish! A fish!

Help me reel it in, Pinkalicious!

[straining, grunting]

Whoa!

Yay!

We did it!

Wow!

What an odd fish!

Look, Pinkalicious, I caught the best fish ever!

Whoa!

More like the scariest fish ever!

Well, at least I caught a fish!

That is not a fish!

It's a... a... monster!

A monster fish?!

Cool!

I can keep him as a pet!

And I'll call you...

Um...

Fangy!

[happy gurgling]

[awkward chuckle]

I'm not sure I like the sound of having a monster fish

as a pet.

Oh, come on, Pinkalicious!

Give the big guy a chance.

You just have to get to know him.

Right, Fangy?

[gurgles]

[Pinkalicious humming]

[humming continues]

Oh!

Can I try?

Sure, Peter.

Thanks!

Huh?[gurgles]

[exclaims]

Fangy!

[gasps]

My kite!



Go long, Pinkalicious!

I've got it! I've got it!

[gasps]



Ah! No, I don't!

No, I don't!

Whoa!

[gasps]

[groans]



Whoa!

Nice sand castle!

Thanks!

It just needs one more tower.

[cries out, grunts]



[humming]

Hey, Pinkalicious!

Do you want some of my ice cream?

No thanks.

I'm going to try and find the pinkaperfect fish for me.

One that's not scary.

Uh...

[gurgling]

Oh...

[gasps]: Fangy?

Do you want some ice cream?

[laughing]: Peter!

You can't feed ice cream to a fish.

But I think he's hungry, look!

[gurgles]

[gasps]: I know!

There you go.

Eat up, buddy!

Hey!

How am I going to catch a pinkatastic fish

without any bait?!

Oops.

Sorry.

Don't worry, I'll go get some more.

Can you look after Fangy while I'm gone?

Peter! Wait!

[gurgling]

[gurgling]

Uh...

[gurgling]Huh?

[gurgling]

[gurgling sadly]

Fangy?

Oh...

You sound so... sad.

You don't like it in that tiny bucket, do you?

[gurgles]

There's no room for you to swim.

Poor fishy.

You aren't actually that scary.

I bet you want to go home.



Don't worry, Fangy, I'll help you.



There you go, Fangy.

Back where you belong.

[gurgles happily]

Fangy!

Fangy!

My monster fish!

What happened?

Peter, I put Fangy back in the ocean,

where he'll be happier.

He was sad cooped up in that little bucket.

I mean, I guess he did seem kind of sad in there.

I wonder if I'll ever see him again.



Fangy!Fangy!



[laughing]

He looks happy now![laughs]

He sure does!

[gurgling a tune]

And he sounds happy too!

[laughs]

It sounds like he's singing!

[gurgle humming continues]

[muffled gurgling underwater]

[gurgle humming continues]

[clicking]

Hey look!

They love Fangy's song as much as we do!

[gurgle humming continues]

So do we!So do we!

It is such a happy tune!

♪ Singing a tune for you and me ♪

♪ Such a pretty melody

♪ Makes us happy

♪ Too!

ALL: ♪ Hap-hap-happy

♪ Feel so happy

[gurgles]

PINKALICIOUS: ♪ He sings so sweet

[gurgle humming]

♪ And he sings so strong

♪ The other fishes hear his song ♪

♪ And they want to sing along!

ALL: ♪ Hap-hap-happy

♪ Hap-hap-happy

♪ Hap-hap-happy

♪ Snap-snap-snappy

♪ Feeling so happy

[Fangy gurgling along]



[laughing]

I think Fangy says, "Thank you".

You're welcome, Fangy.

You're not a monster.

You're the most magni-fish-cent fish I've ever seen!

[giggles]



[splashes]



KIDS: That's pinkatastic!

[kids giggling]

Hey, everybody.

I'm Vaneese Thomas.

And I'm a blues singer.

When you sing blues music

you can sing about things that make you sad,

hopeful, or... or even happy.

Can anyone tell me something that makes them feel sad?

It's raining outside and I can't go outside to play.

THOMAS: Ah... that's a good one.

Let's make up a sad song about it being rainy outside, okay?

♪ And I can't

♪ Go out to play



♪ Well my mama told me

♪ That I'd have to stay inside all day ♪

♪ Aw, and that's pretty sad, right? ♪



THOMAS: If you're happy,

you can sing the blues in a happy way.

[playing upbeat blues tune]

♪ Oh, nothing but smiles and gladness ♪

♪ Coming our way



♪ Oh yeah.

[holds note]

[cheers and applause]Whoo! Yeah!

PINKALICIOUS: "The Pink Ness Monster."



[giggling]

[gasps]

Quick! Hide!

Behind the fish sculpture!



[giggles]

[gasps]RAFAEL:Coming!

[sing-song]: Ready or not!



[kids giggling, gurgling sound]

W-what was that noise?

Um...

Found you![cries out]

I win!

[groans]

That's not fair!

We peeked out because we heard a strange noise.

[gurgling again, Frida gasps]

[giggles]

I think it was my tummy.

[gurgling]

Peter, that isn't your tummy.

Maybe it's the Pink Ness Monster!

[gasps]: The Pink Ness Monster?

Yes!

A mysterious creature that lives in Pinkville Pond!

PETER: There's a creature living in Pinkville Pond?

[gurgling]

Oooh, it does sound very monstery!

We better go tell Mom what we heard.

She's the mayor.

She needs to know there could be a monster in Pinkville pond!



[knock at door]Oh!

Hey, kids, I'm... I'm glad you're here.

I could really use some help

choosing a new sculpture for the park.

Which one do you like best?

Mom, we've got something to tell you!

We heard the Pink Ness Monster!

Frida, we don't know that for sure.

The Pink Ness Monster?

Really?

Uh-huh.

It sounded like this...

Gurgly-gurgle-gurgly-gurgle!

[laughs]

Is that what the Pink Ness Monster

sounds like, Mayor Martinez?

I'm not sure.

I've never heard it myself.

Some people think they've heard it.

And seen it.

Uh... I have a newspaper article here...

[opens, closes drawers]Hm... somewhere.

It might give us more information.

Ah! Here it is!

It says here...

There have been lots of reports of people who think they've seen

the Pink Ness Monster in Pinkville Pond.

They saw bubbles and reeds moving...

and they heard a strange...

[gasps]: gurgling sound!

Just like we heard!

I knew it was the Pink Ness Monster!

Wow!

Is this what the Pink Ness Monster looks like?

Some people think it looks like this

but no one is really sure.

Hmm...

Then we're going to find out!

Oh, Mom?

Can we please borrow your binoculars?

Of course.

Come on!

Let's go back to the park and look for the Pink Ness Monster!

All right!Yes!

Uh, sure...

[hesitant]: Let's go find the monster.

[sighs]

We've been sitting here forever

and the Pink Ness Monster still hasn't shown up!

Let's take a break and get some ice cream.



[bubbling]

[stammering]: Did... did I just see bubbles...

in the pond?

It's the Pink Ness Monster!



[ribbiting]

[all exclaim]

[ribbiting]

[sighs]

It was just a frog.

Phew!

[gasps]: Wait!

I see something!

The pond reeds, they're...

they're moving!



Do you think it's the monster?

Only one way to find out!

Let's go look!



[gasps]

[quacking]

[sighs] You're not the Pink Ness Monster!

Frida, maybe the Pink Ness Monster isn't here.

It is here!

I know it is!

Sorry, Frida.

How about we come back tomorrow and look for the monster?

Tomorrow?

But if we leave now, we might miss it!

We have to keep looking.



[sighs]

You're right, Rafael.

The Pink Ness Monster isn't here.

I guess I'll never see it...

[sighs]

I feel so bad for Frida.

She really, really wanted to see that monster.

I know.

I wish we could wave a magic wand

and make the Pink Ness Monster appear!



And now

I'll wave my magic wand and...

turn this toy monster into a real one!



Roar!

[gasps]: I did it!

I made a pink monster!

Maybe we don't need a magic wand

for the Pink Ness Monster to appear...

[gasps] We can make one!

Huh?Huh?

How are we going to do that?

We can make a Pink Ness Monster sculpture!

But Frida wants to see the real Pink Ness Monster.

We can build a monster sculpture and put it in the pond.

Frida will think it's the real Pink Ness Monster.

And she'll be happy again!

What are we waiting for?

We've got a monster to build!



Okay, so these cut-up tires are the monster's body.

Yes!

And they're going to float on these noodles!

You really think Frida will believe this is

the actual Pink Ness Monster?

I hope so.

I really want Frida to see a monster!



Uh, Peter, what are those for?

To make the monster's head, of course!

Yee-haw!

[laughing]



If I didn't know better, I'd think this was

the real Pink Ness Monster.

Frida's going to love it!

I'll go get her and bring her to the park.

Okay.

And Peter and I will put the sculpture in the pond.

Then we'll give Frida a Pink Ness Monster surprise!

I'm telling you, Frida,

right after you left, I heard something gurgling.

It might be the Pink Ness Monster!

[sighs] It was probably just a duck.

[quietly]: Peter!

Frida's here.

Let's get our Pink Ness Monster into the water.

Ready?

One, two, three...

Go!



It worked!

It's floating right to Frida!



Aw!

It's stuck!

How will Frida ever see our monster now?

Hm...

[gasps]: There!

We can use that branch and push it out!



Rafael, I know you heard gurgling,

but I don't hear a thing.

Um... let's just wait a little longer.

You never know

We might hear it again.



Come on, Pink Ness Monster, where are you?

PINKALICIOUS:Come on!

Move, monster!

Move!



Yes! We got it out!

Wait! Peter!

It's supposed to make a monster noise.

No problem.

PETER: Gurgly-gurgle-gurgly-gurgle!

[gasps]: I hear something.

PETER: Gurgly-gurgle-gurgly-gurgle!

Yes! Look!

It's the Pink Ness Monster!



Wait.

Are those tires?

And water noodles?

And a mop?

[sighs] That's not the Pink Ness Monster...



[bubbling]

PINKALICIOUS: Frida! Rafael!

Did you see it?

Did you see the monster?

[sighs] She knows it's not real.

I don't understand.

This is your monster?

Well, we knew how much you wanted to see

the Pink Ness Monster, so we made one for you.

You made a Pink Ness Monster?

Just for me?

We thought it would make you happy.

Until you get to see the real Pink Ness Monster.

Thank you.

That was so nice of you!

I love my Pink Ness Monster!

[gurgling]

Peter!

Is that your tummy again?

[laughs]

[splashing]

Uh, it's not Peter's tummy.

It's, it's the Pink Ness Monster!

[sighs] Very funny, Frida...

[gasps]Wow!



BOTH: The Pink Ness Monster!

We saw it!

We saw the Pink Ness Monster!

I can't wait to tell everyone in Pinkville!

Wait.

I have a better idea.

How about we show everyone?



There!

Everything is out of the pond!

Monster humps-- done!

And the horns go there.

What about the tail?

Oh! Right! [giggles]



Now all it needs is a gurgle!

Gurgly-gurgle-gurgly-gurgle!

[gurgling continues]

[all laughing]

Oh! I still can't believe you saw the Pink Ness Monster!

And it looked just like this, Mom!

You kids did an amazing job!

Your Pink Ness Monster is the perfect sculpture for the park.

Now everyone can see the Pink Ness Monster,

any time they like!

[kids cheering]

[gurgling]
