PINKALICIOUS: "Dojo Mojo!"

[kids grunting and exclaiming]

[exclaiming]

Great karate class, kids.

Thanks, Mom.

Kendra, you mean Sensei,right?

[giggles]Oh, yes!

Sorry, Mom, I mean Sensei!

[chuckles]: That's okay, Kendra!

You're all becoming master karate students.

Ey!

Ey!

Ey, ey!

And I think you're almost ready

to earn your magenta belts!

[gasp]

Ooh!Whoa!

Only the most masterful karatestudents

are allowed to wear the pinkatastic magenta belt!

That's right!

And to earn it, you must learn

one of the most masterful karate moves of all.

The Dragon Move!

ALL: The Dragon Move?!

Whoa.

Stand back, kids, I'll show you.

[grunts]

Ey!

That was

pinkamazing!

And super-tricky!

Thank you!

It is super-tricky.

Now, watch the steps carefully.

You have until next class to learn them!

Horse stance!

Double hand chop!

Spinning high kick!

Horse stance!

Double hand chop!

Spinning high kick!

Wow!

Good job, Rafael.

You know it already!

I surprised myself.

I just need to practice my landing.

I'll have to practice, too.

I'm lucky I have Mom--

I mean Sensei-- at home!

I hope I learn it quickly.

Karate usually comes easily to me!

[grunts] [gasps]

[giggles]:Oops!

[Pinkalicious grunting]

[grunting]

Ey!

Oops! [giggles]

Mrs. Klee was right.

This Dragon Move is super-tricky.

[sighs]: Maybe I'll take a break then try again.

[yelling]

Catch me, Pinkalicious!

[giggles]: What are you doing, Peter?

I'm trying to roller skate backwards.

Hey, maybe you could help me?

I can't.

I'm really busy.

I have to learn a Dragon Move

to earn my magenta belt in karate.

It's really hard,

so I'm taking a break before I try again.

You have to move like a dragon?

That's so cool!

[roars]

[yelping]: Oh, oh, no! [giggles]

I wish were a dragon!

Then the Dragon Move would be so much easier!

[grunting]

[gasps]

[grunts]

[grunts]

[grunts]

Karate is so much easier when you can fly!

[grunting]

[sighs]: But I'm not a dragon.

I don't even know any dragons.

[roars]

What about me?

[giggles]

[gasps]:Wait!

I do know a dragon--Gertie!

Maybe she can help me with my Dragon Move!

[roars]

Whoa! [giggles]

I'm okay!

Okay, I just need to concentrate.

Gertie, where are you?

I really need your help.

[wings whoosh]

I'm never far away.

What do you need, Pinkalicious?

Gertie!

I'm trying to learn a tricky Dragon Move

to earn my magenta belt in karate.

Ah, well,

all of my moves are Dragon Moves.

[chuckles]

That's why I thought you could help.

Well, when I was learning howto fly,

I broke it down part by part.

First, I practiced flapping.

[giggles]

Then I practiced gliding.

And finally, I practiced swooping.

Once I mastered every part,

I put them all together.

Flapping,

gliding,

swooping!

[gasps]: I could break the Dragon Move into small parts, too!

Horse stance, done!

Double hand chop!

[inhales deeply]

Spinning high kick!

[grunts]: Done!

That's the Dragon Move!

Now put it all together!

Horse stance.

Double hand chop.

[grunts]

[sighs]

I still can't do it.

Don't worry, Pinkalicious.

Learning something new can take a lot of practice.

It took me years

to become the expert flyer that I am now.

Thanks, Gertie!

Anytime, Pinkalicious.

BOTH: Hi, Pinkalicious!

Uh, oh, hi!

Have you learned the Dragon Move yet, Pinkalicious?

It's really hard.

But I think I've got the landing now.

Excellent landing, Rafael.

Here's your magenta belt.

[whispering]: Gertie, Gertie, where are you?

I need your help!

Did you say something, Pinkalicious?

It's your turn.

Oh, I, um,

I should have gone first.

Really sorry.

I can do the Dragon Move,

but I have to go now.

What's wrong, Pinkalicious?

I, I need to feed my catagain.

That is one hungry cat!

[crying]

Oh, Gertie, where are you?

[tapping]

[gasps]I'm right here.

I sense you need afriend.

I tried calling you when I was in karate class,

but I just couldn't concentrate.

I was so nervous.

I couldn't do the Dragon Move.

Keep practicing, Pinkalicious.

You'll get it.

No, it's just too tricky.

Even when I break it down part by part.

I'm giving up.

There's a reason it's called the Dragon Move, Pinkalicious.

What do you mean?

Dragons are brave, fierce, and strong!

We never give up!

Dragons keep trying, even if it takes a long time.

Like when I learned how to fly.

I started quite low.

But now I can soar,

higher...

...and higher...

...and higher!

But I'm not a dragon.

Ah.

But there's a little dragon in all of us.

It's the part that never quits.

I call it my inner fire.

[exhales]

I'll show you what I mean.

Oh, you just have to teach me the Dragon Move first.

Okay!

How's this?

[grunts]

Don't worry, Gertie.

The kick is the hardest part!

You just need to believe you can do it.

[gasps]

And then you can do it.

Gertie!

Is that what you meant by inner fire?

That's right!

[grunts]

[chuckles][sighs, moans]

Or hard kick.

But in tai chi,

it's soft martial art.

And we move with nature.

GIRL: The feeling

is happiness.

DU: I'd like you to hold up a ball.

BOY: She showed us a lot of different motions

and we put them into kind of steps.

And breathe in.

And then the next one was catching a bird.

GIRL: You know how clouds move sometimes?

That's what we were doing.

And trees.

DU: We're gonna wave left

and right...

The googly possibilities are endless!

Hey, that's my notebook!

Oops, sorry, Kendra.

[in different voice]: Well, well, Kendra,

I love being your googly notebook.

You write so many brilliant, googly-tastic words!

No.

No way would any notebook of mine talk like that.

[clears throat]

[in different voice]: All this googly talk

is very silly and a complete waste of my time, thank you!

[giggles]

[school bell rings]

Hm, looks like it's googly recess.

Can we bring the googly eyes outside, Ms. Penny?

Yes, please!

Hm, I don't see why not.

Googly away!
