Huh?

[ Screams ]

[ Roars ]

[ Smooching ]

Ready when you are!

Okay...

Usually the punching has worked by now.

Huh. Usually, the punching has worked by now.

[ Yelling ]

Whoa!

[ Screams ] Oof!

This dragon looks tougher than the last one you fought, Ben.

There's nothing online about this specific one.

But it doesn't look like punching will work.

I just need to give it one good uppercut.

Uppercut!

Whoa! Oh!

Tim Buktu: Step away from the red lump and come face a true hero!

Uh, I got this, thanks.

No need for -- whoa! Ow.

Thank me later.

Oof!

Oh, no!

It appears this dragon is very strong.

Yeah, not as easy as you thought, huh?

No cause for alarm.

I have a last-second secret w*apon.

Hah! Leave -- before I make you leave.

Wow. Quite a show.

[ Cheering ] -Hey!

I was punching first!

Please, I am just a simple, humble hero.

Hey, mech suit, if it wasn't for you interrupting me,

I would have been all the hero this town needed.

Who are you, anyway?

I'm your old pal, Tim Buktu!

Pal?!

Last time I checked,

you were more of a villain than a hero!

I'm a changed man now.

I keep meaning to add a ladder.

You see, Ben, I decided to turn over a new leaf

and start helping people,

just like you.

[ Cheering ]

They love me now.

And I love keeping them safe

from that dragon that comes to terrorize them all the time.

I found my true calling -- being praised for being a hero.

Wait, your true calling is being praised for being a hero,

or actually being a hero?

What's the difference?

Anyway, nothing for you do here, Ben.

So, you can, you know, skedaddle.

Well, sounds like he's got it handled.

Why not give him the benefit of the doubt?

Yeah, and everyone here seems to like him.

Well, I don't like him. I don't like any of this.

Goodbye, fair citizens! [ Crowd chanting "Tim Buktu!" ]

I'll be back for more gifts and compliments,

uh, and to save you from beasties and such!

[ Cheering ]

There's something fishy going on here.

You've got that right, Ben.

We're in Japan. We've got to get us some sushi.

Didn't you think that fight seemed a little fakey?

Now that you mention it, something did seem a little off.

But the dragon was defeated, so, meh.

He can't just pretend to be a hero like that.

It's a special job, for special people -- like me!

Well, technically, he saved you, so he is a hero.

That's how it works. -Fine.

You two go eat fish while I investigate fishy.

You're gonna miss out on a really good lunch.

Right, Grandpa? Grandpa?

I'll have one of everything, thank you.

Huh. I guess he was hungry, Ben.

Ben? Wait!

[ Munching ]

Wow. Japanese mythology is full of dragons --

ice dragons, fire dragons, candy dragons.

Ooh, I think I found something.

"The Sapphire Dragon of Kamakura."

Not only was this dragon very powerful,

it was also loved and worshiped by the town.

Wherever the dragon went,

it would bring wealth and good fortune to everyone.

But if the dragon was ever disturbed while it slumbered,

it would go into an uncontrollable rampage

and wreak havoc on anyone and anything.

The only thing that could calm it down

is tranquil music to lull it back to sleep.

Isn't that fascinating, Grandpa?

Mm-hmm.

Dragon roll. Mmm.

Grandpa? Ugh.

Real heroes don't hide in creepy caves.

This calls for some super-secret spy action.

You want a piece of me, pointy rock?

[ Squeals ] Lucky no one heard me.

[ Squeaking ]

Or not.

[ Panting ]

I'm all alone and defenseless against this dragon!

If only there was some roguishly handsome hero here

to save me from this terrifying creature!

[ Roars ]

And scene.

Great performance, old gal. Very scary.

Almost as good as the scene in town today.

I knew it. Eep!

Really hope he didn't notice that!

He noticed.

Agh!

Maybe you saw me, but I saw you, too, Tim Buktu!

You're no hero! You're a fraud!

[ Laughs ] And what're you gonna do?

Tell everyone in Japan

that I've been controlling the dragon the whole time?

Well, duh.

Sure, sounds just like what a hero might do --

if he was alive to do it!

[ Panting ]

[ Screams ]

Go ahead, blow me up!

Show everyone here exactly what kind of hero you really aren't!

He's been getting the dragon to att*ck your town all along.

He's pretending to protect you from it

to make himself look like a hero.

Lies! He's the one who's been waking the dragon.

[ Crowd gasps ]

That's right! He's been, uh...

hiding in the caverns like a sly little goblin.

Which is why...

no one's seen him around here before.

Yeah -- that's why!

That doesn't even make sense.

The dragon was already here before I came to Japan.

[ Crowd murmurs agreement ]

Uh, well -- liar, liar, pants on fire!

What are you, ?

You don't have what it takes to be a real hero,

and you know it.

[ Crowd gasps ]

W-whatever.

You still believe me in me, right?

[ Crowd groans ]

No, no, no!

I was a hero!

All you had to do was leave me alone,

and everything would have been fine!

But no!

You had to ruin it!

Watch, watch, watch, watch!

You want "liar, liar, pants on fire"?

I'll give it to ya!

My rockets!

Heroes don't blast people, Buktu.

Well, heroes also can't be real heroes without a sidekick.

[ Roars ]

Ohh. These dragon rolls are really burning me up.

I'll be right back.

Okay, Grandpa. But hurry back.

I think I've finally got a plan for this dragon situation.

Hi, Gwen. Bye, Gwen!

Or maybe I should just wing it.

[ Screaming ]

You better not eat me, dragon!

I cause some nasty heartburn!

Quit fooling around, you fool.

Just roar him out.

Gah! Not me!

[ Screams ]

Whew! [ Crowd booing ]

You ungrateful gnats!

I saved you over and over!

From a situation you created!

Causing problems to fix is lower than low.

Ben, look!

Why isn't the dragon attacking??

It's distracted.

I think the correlation might be heat.

[ Screams ]

Oh, come on!

I can't believe you ruined everything -- again.

This whole dragon thing is a scam.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

But I leave you with these parting words -- auto pilot!

"Auto pilot"? For what?

Why do I ask dumb questions?

[ Laughs ] Play nice, now.

[ Laughs ]

Oh, man!

Ben, the dragon's attracted to extreme heat.

Extreme heat? That I've got!

[ Grunting ]

Which makes sense why it won't leave me alone!

But I could sure use any other big ideas you've got, cousin.

Like how's Buktu controlling it?

There's the control device on its neck.

Get rid of that and it might calm down.

I can totally work with that.

That should take care of everything.

Or not!

So I think it's even more mad now.

That dragon website have any other big ideas?

Um, music tames the savage beast?

It needs to hibernate.

Really, Gwen? It's noon!

Think, think, think. How do I get it to sleep

with the sun being all bright and stuff!

Maybe you could take it someplace that's out of the sun?

Oh! The cavern. Thanks, Gwen.

I'll lead it back to the cavern up the trail,
