Xavier: Hi there! Welcome to the show.

Today we're meeting--

Woah...

WOOOOAH!!!

Yadina: Cool pyramid!

Brad: [cautious] Oooh. Take it easy...

Xavier: Today we're meeting a super cool archeologist:

Zelia Nuttall!

Brad: An archeologist is someone who studies ancient artifacts,

which are objects made by people a loooong time ago.

Yadina: Like pyramids, or these clay terracotta heads!

Xavier: Zelia was interested in artifacts from Mexico.

They taught her what life was like thousands of years ago.

Brad: [off screen] Uaaah... ugh!

Huh... what's this?

Hm...

A big red button!

Did this exist thousands of years ago too?

Wonder what it was used for? Yadina: [giggles]

I know what it's used for now.

Let's start the show!

[party horns squeeking] Xavier: [startled yelp]

Brad: Happy Birthday, Xavier!

Xavier: Thanks! Yadina: Dr. Zoom and I

are so excited for your party.

Brad: Especially the cake part.

There IS cake, right?!

Xavier: Yeah!

Brad: Oooh... Cake!

Yadina: Uh, who's that from?

Xavier: Dad!

He said it's something very special to our family.

Yadina: What do you think it is?

Xavier: I don't know.

But, he said I could open it whenever I wanted.

Yadina: Whaddya waiting for?

What is it?

Xavier: [gasps] Woah!

It's a...

well...

[grunting]

Ummm...

Uh--

Yadina: Wooden cube?

Xavier: So maybe it's...

a family trophy stand?

Or a family...drum?

Brad: Doesn't sound very drummy.

Xavier: Uhm, how am I gonna figure it out?

Dad'll be home soon and I can't thank him for something

if I don't know what it is.

Brad: Sounds like a big problem.

Uh, well, I mean not a big problem.

We certainly don't need to go the--

[cringing]

Xavier: Good idea!

Xavier/Yadina: To the Secret Museum!

Brad: Oy vey...

[shouting] Wait for me!

Xavier: I wonder who the Secret Museum will send us to meet?

Yadina: And where we'll go?

Brad: And WHEEEEEEN!!!

Yadina: Look out below! Xavier: Woohoo!

Brad: Woooah!

Xavier/Yadina: Hi, Berby. Berby: [bleep blarp]

Brad: Hi, Berby! Berby: [blar bloop]

Brad: Oof!

Xavier: [humming]

We're getting something!

Brad: It's a...

Book? Map?

Really big flyer?

Yadina: Look! Zelia Nuttall.

That's who we're going to meet.

Xavier: In Ireland, in the year .

Brad: That's over years ago!

Get the seatbelts!

Xavier: I wonder how Zelia Nuttall can help me

figure out what dad's present is.

Yadina: Only one way to find out...

Xavier: Ready for adventure? Yadina: Ready!

Brad: Oooorr...we could skip time travel

and go straight to the cake!

...Ready.

Berby: [whirring]

Yadina: Here we go!

Berby: [bleep blarp bloop]

Xavier: It's happening! Yadina: Hang on, Dr. Zoom!

Xavier: Woohoo!

Brad: WOOOOOOAH!

Berby: [blarp bloop!]

Xavier: So this is Ireland in .

It's so peaceful and quiet.

Brad: Why is it so dark?

Oh, wait. Never mind.

Zelia: Hi! I'm Zelia.

This is my first trip to Ireland.

What about you?

Brad: Huh. Uh well I-I...

Zelia: It's lovely, isn't it?

Yadina: [hushed] I think we found Zelia.

Berby: [whirrs]

[scanning bleep]

Zelia: So, are you from around here?

Xavier: Not exactly...

I'm Xavier, this is Yadina,

Dr. Zoom, and Brad.

Brad: Hi!

Zelia: Hmmm... Interesting clothes!

Who made them?

Brad: Um...I made my cape...

Yadina: You sure ask a lot of questions, Zelia!

Zelia: I do!

Because asking questions can lead to exciting discoveries.

Like the discovery of three new friends!

[Dr. Zoom squeaks]

I mean four.

One more question:

would you like to come to my birthday party?

Xavier: Whoa! It's your birthday?

Mine, too!

Brad: We'd love to come!

[whispers] I hope there's cake...

Zelia's Mom: Happy Birthday, Zelia!

This is from me.

Zelia: Thanks, Mom! I wonder what it is?

Xavier: Zelia's getting a cube for her birthday.

Like the one I got!

Zelia: [thrilled] Books! Thanks, Mom!

What are they about?

What are all these pictures?

Zelia's Mom: [off screen] It's a codex.

Something our ancestors used to record important information.

Zelia: What are artifacts?

Zelia's Mom: I'll answer as many questions as I can.

Artifacts are objects that people made

a very long time ago.

Yadina: [gasps] Look at that one!

Xavier: Wooooah...So cool! Brad: Look at that.

Zelia: It has so many pictures and symbols.

Xavier: Uh-huh.

Zelia's Mom: These are all about amazing artifacts

found in Mexico, where some of our family are from.

Unfortunately, many were lost over the years.

Yadina: Oh. That's too bad.

Zelia's Mom: Yes. They could've told us a LOT

about our Mexican ancestors.

Zelia: What happened to these codices, Mom?

Do you think we'll ever find them again?

Zelia's Mom: Maybe. But, these questions will have to wait.

It's time for cake!

Brad: Yes! Finally!

Xavier: Those books are neat, but..

how do they help me figure out what Dad's present is?

Berby: [bleep blarp]

Yadina: Looks like we're about to find out.

Brad: Ooooh yum yum yum!

Ooh!

Eeee!

[zap]

Awww! But...cake!

Berby: [blarp] Yadina: Where--and when--are we?

Xavier: Berby says it's years later.

And we're at a party in Italy!

Brad: Oh, I hope they have cake here...

Zelia: [off screen] Excuse me, do you have any cake?

Brad: [gasps]

Zelia: Thank you!

[to trio] See?

Asking questions can lead to exciting discoveries.

Like cake!

But I'm not just here for cake.

I'm an archeologist now,

someone who studies artifacts.

Xavier: [gasps] Like wooden cubes?

Zelia: More like the Mexican artifacts from Mom's books.

Other people here are curious about artifacts too,

so I'm hoping to learn from them.

Professor: Many years ago, I saw a colourful,

well-preserved Mexican codex

with notes written in it.

Zelia: A Mexican codex?

It could be one that was lost!

No time for cake!

Excuse me, but you saw a colourful Mexican codex?

Where did you see it?

Professor: [thinking] Uh-ah-ehm

It was in the San Marco Library many years ago.

Hmm,

after that, it was given to someone in England.

Sorry, that's all I know.

Zelia: That's okay. Thank you.

[sighs] Where could it be now?

Guess I'll just have to ask more questions.

Brad: Mmm...Woah!

[clatter]

Zelia: To whom

Have you seen an ancient Mexican codex

full of colourful images and notes?

Do you know where it is now?

It was given to Baron Zouche.

Do you know him?

Where can I find him?

Xavier: So.. many.. questions.

Think Zelia will ever find that codex?

Brad: I just wanna find cake.

Zelia: I found it! Someone in England has the codex.

They've agreed to send it to the British Museum

for me to study. Let's go!

I've never seen a codex

in such good condition.

With this much detail!

Symbols, drawings, notes...

it may be one of the most important

Mexican artifacts ever found!

Xavier: Whoa!

Zelia made an incredible discovery,

by asking a lot of questions.

So, if I wanna discover

what the cube is that Dad gave me,

I should...

ask questions about it!

Zelia? Congrats on your ah-mazing discovery!

I have to go and make one of my own...

Zelia: Good luck, Xavier. Bye!

Xavier: Bye-bye!

Berby, let's go home.

Berby: [bleep blarp!]

[zap]

Yadina! Brad!

I asked Dad a bunch of questions,

and now I know what this is!

A Riddle family heirloom!

Yadina: What's that?

Xavier: Something that's been in our family a looong time.

Look: it's a puzzle!

Brad: Interesting... Yadina: Wooooah...

Xavier: I asked where it came from and found out

it was made by our great, great grandma.

She loved puzzles.

Then, I asked how it works.

Each time I asked a question,

I learned something new.

Because asking questions can lead to

exciting discoveries,

like this!

Boom!

Yadina: Woah, Great-Great- Grandma Riddle!

And Great-Great-Grandpa Riddle!

Xavier: I loved meeting Zelia Nuttall.

She asked a ton of questions

and made amazing discoveries!

Yadina: Like the Codex Nuttall.

It was named after her,

since she found it and shared it with the world.

Xavier: So we could all learn more about

ancient Mexican civilizations.

Brad: Like how people in ancient Mexico loved hot xocoatl.

Which is kinda like hot chocolate.

[sluuuurp]

Oh, yeah! [giggle] Yadina: Oh, Brad!

Xavier: Thanks for joining our awesome adventure

to meet Zelia Nuttall.

Yadina: Who used to be a kid, just like you and me.

Brad: So kids like you can change the world!

I am Brad.

Yadina: I am Yadina.

Xavier: I am Xavier.

And I know that asking questions

Xavier: Hello!

Yadina: And welcome to the show!

Xavier: Today we're meeting someone

who had a pretty amazing show of his own:

Jules Leotard.

Yadina: Jules was anacrobatic aerialist.

That's someone withgreat balance

who swings gracefullyon a trapeze--

Brad: Whoah! Aah!

Am I graceful?

Yadina: You're doing great,Brad!

Brad: Uaaaah!

Xavier: Jules was born in France in the year ,

and loved to entertain people Brad: Uaaaah!

Xavier: --with his daring acrobatic moves.

Brad: Whoa! Yadina: Now let's start the show

so we can check them out!

Ready?

Brad: Uh...not really.

Yadina: You can do it!

Brad: Okay... [gulps]

Here goes nothing...

[deep breath]

WAAAAAH--

[floomph] Uh!

Whooa-aa!

Ugh!

I like the feeling of the cold tiles on my toes.

Xavier: I'm so pumped for swimming today.

Because it's...

DIVING BOARD DAY!

No more jumping in from the side of the pool for us.

Today, we use the diving board

like BIG kids!

Brad: Hey, Yadina! Xavier: Yeah!

She came to cheer us on!

Yadina: You go, bro!

Swim Instructor: [off screen] You're up first, Xavier!

Xavier: Yes! It's jumping time.

Brad: [startled yelp]

♪♪

Xavier: [flexing grunts]

Aaah! [whooosh]

Uh oh...

[nervous gulp]

Ah...

Uhm-oh!

Uhm--

Uh.

Ah!

I'm not doing this.

Brad: Why didn't you jump?

Xavier: I--I don't know.

I was excited, but then, I--

I felt nervous.

Swim Instructor: Brad! You're up!

Brad: Oh! Okay.

Nose plug...

Goggles...

Wind... [slurp]

[wind blows]

Okay!

Ready.

[quiet splash]

Xavier: What?

Yadina: Woohoo! Way to go, Brad!

Xavier: That was amazing!

How did you feel?

Were you nervous?

Brad: Actually...

No. I felt pretty good.

Xavier: Huh. Then why did I feel so nervous up there?

I really wanna be able to jump like you did.

Hmm?[gasps]

Brad: Uh oh.

Xavier/Yadina: To the SECRET MUSEUM!

Brad: Oy vey.

♪♪

Xavier: I wonder who the Secret Museum will send us to meet?

Yadina: And where we'll go?

[rumbling sound]

Brad: And when?

Yadina: Look out below! Xavier: Woohoo!

Xavier/Yadina: Hi, Berby! Berby: [blarp bloop]

Brad: Hi, Berby. Berby: [bleep blarp]

Brad: Oof!

Xavier: [humming]

We're getting something!

Yadina: What is it?

Xavier: A magical suit that'll make me less nervous

about diving into a pool?

[whirring]

Yadina: Jules Leotard.

That's who we're going to meet.

Brad: In France, in the year .

Wait, that's, like...

years ago!

Whew.

Xavier: I wonder if Jules and his fancy suit

and twirly moustache can teach me how to jump.

Yadina: Only one way to find out...

Ready for adventure?

Xavier: Ready.

Brad: Ready-ISH? But after my epic dive,

I'm suddenly kind of-- confident?

Ready!!

Berby: [whirring]

[bleep blarp]

Yadina: Here we go!

Berby: [bloop bleep blarp]

Xavier: It's happening! Yadina: Hang on, Dr. Zoom!

Xavier: Woohoo!

Brad: WOOOOOOAH!

Berby: [bleep blarp bloop!]

Brad: Uuuh!

Hi.

Xavier: So this is France in .

Yadina: I think... we're inside a gym.

Where people exercise.

Berby: [whirrs]

Brad: Is that? Xavier: Yes! Jules Leotard.

Thanks, Berby! Berby: [blee blarp]

Jules: [bored sigh] Balayage, balayage...

Yadina: He's speaking French.

We need the translator.

Jules: C'est tellement ennuyeux...

SO boring.

[dramatic sigh]

Yadina: Is everything okay?

You look kinda--

Jules: Bored. I'm bored!

Brad: Uh...yeah.

I guess sweeping's not super exciting.

Or even a little exciting.

Xavier/Yadina/Jules: [coughing]

Jules: But...on the other hand,

I'm also happy to be here at my father's gymnasium!

Xavier: Ugh!

You're bored AND happy?

That doesn't make sense.

Jules: Sure it does!

It's okay to feel different emotions at the same time.

Xavier: Oooh...

Jules: Well, I am bored sweeping.

But my dad also gave me a much more fantastic job

I'm looking forward to:

closing the skylights!

Watch this!

Oh-ah!

Weeeeeee! [slam]

Wooooo!

Uh! Wooooo! [slam]

Brad/Yadina: [gasp] Whoa!

Xavier: Okay, now that looks like fun!

Jules: Wooohooo! [slam]

Yaaah!

Kids: [off screen] [cheering/clapping]

Jules: Haha!

NOW I feel thrilled AND proud.

See? It's okay to feel

different emotions at the same time!

Uh! Woohoo!

Xavier: Huh.

Soooo, do you think the Secret Museum is telling me

to SWING into the pool?

Instead of jumping in?

Berby: [blar bloop]

Yadina: I think that's a no...

Brad: Uaaaah! [zap]

Yadina: Whoa!

Where are we?

Brad: When are we?

Berby: [blar bloop]

Xavier: Berby says we're inside the Cirque Napoleon,

years later.

Yadina: Look! Jules is on this poster!

Xavier: He must be inside.

C'mon!

Jules?

Do they have skylights to close here too, Jules?

Jules: [chuckles] No.

I'm about to perform my flying trapeze act.

Brad: You can fly now?!

Jules: [chuckles]

Flying trapeze is kind of like what I was doing at the gym,

swinging from rope to rope.

But this time I'll be doing it

WAAAAY up in the air!

Yadina/Xavier/Brad: [awed reactions]

Yadina: Looks amazing.

Brad: Uh, I think you mean 'scary'.

Jules: Uhm--

Xavier: How are you feeling, Jules?

Jules: So I'm super excited,

buuuuut...

I'm also a little nervous.

Xavier: Heeey...

That's how I felt on the diving board!

Excited AND nervous.

Sooo, guess it's best to cancel.

Jules: No. I'm doing the show.

Xavier: Really?!

Jules: Yes!

It's okay to feel different emotions at the same time.

I've practiced and I am ready.

Sometimes to move forward,

you have to push past negative feelings,

like being nervous,

and focus on positive ones!

Xavier: Like being excited!

Jules: Exactly!

Well, wish me luck!

Xavier/Yadina/Brad: Good luck!

Yadina: C'mon, let's get a seat!

♪♪ [audience applause]

Jules: Thank you!

Thank you!

[drumroll] Audience: Oh!

Xavier: [gulp] That's higher than a diving board.

Jules: [deep breath]

Uhhh...

Uhhhh...

[deep breath]

Xavier: Uh! I can't look!

Yadina: Oh!

Jules: [jumping grunt]

Woohoo!

Brad: Eee!

Jules: [relieved sigh]

[swinging grunt] [crowd cheering]

Brad: J-Jules is doing it!

It's amazing...

Yadina: I can't watch...

But I must! But I can't.

Should I look?

I shouldn't look.

Oh, I looked!

So many emotions, Dr. Zoom!

Xavier: [nervous yelp] Totally...

Jules: [jumping grunt]

Xavier/Crowd: [gasp]

Jules: Woohoo!

Xavier: Wow.

If Jules can do his flying trapeze act while he's nervous

AND excited,

then, maybe I can, too...

Jules: WOOOO!!

Huy-yah!

[loud cheering/applause]

Jules: Merci, merci!

Xavier: It's like Jules said:

it's okay to feel different emotions

at the same time.

I just have to focus on excitement

instead of my nerves.

[giggles] Berby, let's go home.

Berby: [blurp blarp]

♪♪

♪ [triumphant music]

Yadina: You've got this, big bro!

[squirt] [gulp]

Brad: [cheering] Go, Xavier!

♪♪

Xavier: [sigh]

It's jumping time!

♪♪

Brad: Ewwww--

Xavier: Ugh--

[deep inhale]

[long exhale]

[jumping grunt]

[splash]

Brad: That's amazing! Yadina: Oh yeah!

Alright, you did it! Brad: Woohoo, yay!

♪♪

Xavier: I did it! Woohoo!

I feel... proud!

[loud splash]

It was SO much fun meeting Jules Leotard.

Yadina: Jules developed the art of trapeze,

and loved to entertain crowds

with his brave and exciting routines!

Brad: And he designed these!

Tight, stretchy outfits

that are perfect for moving around in,

and won't get caught on anything.

Yep!

Xavier: They're still worn today by dancers, athletes,

and lots of other people who want to do...

whatever that is.

Brad: Ah-ya!

Yadina: And they're called leotards in his honor.

Xavier: Thanks for joining our awesome adventure
