Daniel Tiger: Hi, Neighbor! Trolley: Ding-ding!

Daniel: Today we're leaving school early

because there's a snow storm.

It's a good thing we have lots of grownups to take care of us!

I'm really glad you're here.

I'll be right back!

Daniel: Hi Neighbor!

It's snowing - a lot!

[giggles]

Have you ever seen snow?

It feels so soft--

and cold!

Brrr.

[giggles]

Jodi Platypus: ♪ Covering everything around

♪ in a sparkling white

Miss Elaina: The snow is coming down so fastfastfast!

Daniel: Brrr. And it's soooo windy.

Teacher Harriet: Take a look!

The snow is coming down faster now.

Let's all go back into our classroom.



Daniel: Brrr, come inside with us!

O The Owl: There's so much snow now, hoo hoo!

Jodi: I see snow on the window!

Teacher Harriet: Come to the rug please children.

Miss Elaina: But I didn't take off my coat yet--

Or my mittens! [giggles]

Harriet: That's okay, Miss Elaina.

Everyone please leave your coats on and come and sit.

I have an important announcement.

Thank you all for listening.

I've asked your grown-ups to come and pick you up now.

We're going to end school early today,

because of the snow.

Kids: Huh?

Daniel: But we haven't had story time yet!

Jodi: We had school last time it snowed.

Harriet: That's right.

But it doesn't normally snow this much,

there's a snowstorm today.

And that means there's lots and lots of snow,

and we want everyone to get home safely.

Daniel: Lots of snow!

O The Owl: Hoo hoo! That's different!

Jody: Yikes!

Daniel: I've never seen this much snow before.

Have you?

Katerina Kittycat: Hi Mommy, meow meow!

Come on, O!

Harriet: Bye bye!

Daniel: Bye! Jodi: Bye bye!

Harriet: Stay safe!

Dr. Plat: Ready Jo-jo Bean?

Jodi: Ready!

Elaina: Daddy, daddy, daddy!

Dr. Plat: Thanks, Teacher Harriet!

Elaina: Bye-bye!

Harriet: Goodbye, Miss Elaina.

Daniel: Teacher Harriet?

I don't see my mom or dad!

Harriet: Your mom will be here soon.

And until she gets here,

I'm here to take care of you.

Daniel: ♪ Grown-ups are here

Harriet: Ooh!

Look at all those snowflakes.

Daniel: Wow! How many do you think there are?

A hundred?

Maybe...a million!

Harriet: Hmm, I don't know!

Daniel: Oh! I'll count them!

One...two...oh!

Three, four....

five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!

[giggles]

I can't count them all!

Harriet: [chuckles]

Daniel: [gasps] Mom!

Mom Tiger: Hello, Daniel.

Sorry I'm late.

Daniel: I was a little worried, but it's okay.

Teacher Harriet was with me.

Mom: That's right.

Mom/Daniel: ♪ Grown-ups are here

♪ to take care of you.

Mom: Thank you, Teacher Harriet.

You ready to go home, my fuzzy guy?

Daniel: Yes.

Goodbye, Teacher Harriet!

Harriet: Goodbye Daniel.

Be careful in the snow storm!

Mom: You too!

Stay warm!

Daniel: Hi Trolley.

Trolley: Ding ding!

Daniel: Look at all this snow!

Mom: It's really coming down now!

Trolley: Ding ding!



Daniel: ♪ So much snow is coming down, ♪

♪ it's time to go inside



♪ We're going home right now

♪ on a snowy trolley ride

Daniel/Mom: ♪ It's a snowy day

♪ in the neighborhood

Daniel: ♪ I can't wait to get cozy ♪

♪ with my family

Trolley: Ding ding!

Daniel: Dad!

Dad Tiger: Hi, Daniel.

Oh, I'm glad you're home.

Daniel: Me too.

It's snowing a lot!

Dad: It sure is.

Daniel: The wind is so loud and whooshy!

Whooosh!

Woah!

Dad: Uh-uh, I got you, Daniel.

Are you okay? Daniel: I'm okay.

Dad: It's getting a little too snowy out here to play.

You should go inside now.

Daniel: Aren't you coming inside too?

Dad: I'm going to finish shoveling the walkway,

so no one else slips, but I'll be in soon.

Daniel: Okay.

Mom!

There's so much snow. And it's really windy.

And I almost fell!

I'm a little scared.

Mom: I know it can be scary, Daniel.

But--

♪ Grown-ups are here

♪ to take care of you.

And now you're nice and safe inside with me.

Daniel: ♪ Grown-ups are here

♪ to take care of you.

Mom: Now, how about I make you some hot cocoa

to warm you up?

Daniel: Grr-ific! Because I'm cccc-old!



Hi, Tigey. Did you see all the snow?

Trolley: Ding ding!

Daniel: Hey, that's Trolley.

[spinning tire sounds]

Trolley: Ding ding! Ding ding!

Daniel: Mom, why isn't Trolley moving?

Mom: Hm! Oh dear.

I think Trolley is stuck in the snow.

Daniel: Stuck? Oh no!

How will Trolley get out?

Mom: Well, Dad is helping Trolley--

Oh! And here comes Dr. Plat.

Daniel: And there's Mr. McFeely!

He's going to help too!

Mom: ♪ Neighbors are here to help. ♪

♪ Neighbors are here to help.

Daniel: Do you think Trolley will be able to move now?

[spinning tire sounds]

I hope so!

[spinning tire sounds]

Trolley's still stuck!

They need to shovel some more!

I hope they get Trolley out this time.

Trolley's going to try again!

Will Trolley get out now?

[spinning tire sounds]

Trolley: Ding Ding! Ding Ding! Daniel: Yay!

The grown-ups worked together and Trolley isn't stuck anymore!

Grown-ups really do take care of us.

They even take care of Trolley!

Dad: Ahh. It feels good to be back inside!

Daniel: I'm glad you and our neighbors

helped Trolley, Dad.

Dad: I'm glad we helped too!

Mom: [shivers]

Let's all warm up with that hot cocoa!

Daniel: Grr-ific! Come on, Tigey.

Mom: Cocoa for you...

and you...

and some warm milk for my Margaret.

Dad: Hmmm, thank you!

Mom: And here are some marshmallows too!

Daniel: Yum!

Look! It's snowing in my hot cocoa!

Blip-bloop-blip!

[giggles]

Dad: Hey! I want some snow in my hot cocoa too, please!

Daniel: [giggles]

Mmm!

Margaret: Mmm!

Daniel/Mom/Dad: [giggles]

Daniel: Mmm! [giggles]

This marshmallow snow tastes delicious!

Hey!

Do you want to make-believe with me?

Let's make-believe it's really snowing marshmallows!

♪ [playful music]

Narrator: ♪ In a marshmallow world ♪

♪ With marshmallow hills and cocoa swirls ♪

♪ Marshmallows falling from the sky ♪

♪ Like snow coming down but soft and dry ♪

♪ Have a cup of cocoa

Daniel: Wasn't that grr-ific?

[sipping]

Hey Dad, can we read a story?

Dad: Sure! What kind of story?

Daniel: A Tigey the Adventure Tiger story?

Dad: That's a great idea!

Let's go pick one together.

Tigey is--

Dad/Daniel: Brave and strong!

Daniel: You come too!

Zoooooom!

[splash]

Oh no!

[splashy-splash]

Dad! Look!

My floor's all wet!

Dad: Oh no!

What a mess!

Daniel: My socks are wet!

And my blanket!

[gasps] My Tigey books!

They're all wet and soggy!

Now we can't read them together.

Dad: Aw, I'm sorry that happened, Daniel.

I know these are important to you.

I'll set them out to dry right over here.

Mom: [gasps] What happened?

Dad: Well, it looks like there's a broken pipe

in the bathroom.

Daniel: [shivers] It's cold in here too!

Dad: It is cold in here.

Mom: Oh dear. I think the heat is broken.

Dad: Ah ha, and that's why the pipe broke.

Margaret: Uh oh!

Mom: Ok, I'll get my tools to fix everything.

Daniel: But, what about my bedroom?

There's water all over.

And it's sooo cold!

Brrr. [shivers]

Dad: I know, I know.

But we're going to fix it.

♪ Grown-ups are here

♪ to take care of you.

Oh! Here's your cape, Adventure Tiger!

There we go.

Daniel: Yes. Thanks, Dad.

♪ Grown-ups are here

♪ to take care of you.

Here, Tigey.

Now you'll be warm too!

Mom: Honey, maybe you should take Daniel and Margaret

to the Platypus house.

It's too cold in our house right now.

Dad: That's a good idea.

You can stay there while Mom and I fix the heat

and the broken pipe.

Daniel: Okay. But--

Can I take Tigey with me?

Mom: Of course.

Daniel: And Trolley?

Dad: And Trolley.

Into your coats and hats again!



Daniel: ♪ It's a snowy day

in the neighborhood



♪ But our grownups are here to make sure ♪

♪ that everything's ok

♪ On this snowy day



[knocking]

Dr. Plat: Tigers! Come in, come in!

Dad: Thank you!

Dr. Plat: What are you doing out on a snowy evening like this?

Dad: Well, our heat isn't working

and we've got a broken pipe.

Is it all right if Daniel and Margaret stay warm here

while we fix things up at home?

Dr. Plat: Of course!

That's what neighbors do!

They help each other.

Dad: Oh, thank you.

Alright, my little tigers.

I'll come get you as soon as we fix everything.

Daniel: Okay, Dad.

Margaret: Ugga mugga! [baby babbles]

Jodi: Daniel!

I didn't know you were coming over.

Dr. Plat: Daniel and Margaret are going to stay with us

while their Mom and Dad fix some things at their house.

Daniel: It's cold in our house now.

So cold that a pipe broke!

And my stuff got all wet!

Even my Tigey books got wet.

Jodi: Aww.

Dr. Plat: I'm so sorry to hear that, Daniel.

Jodi: You can borrow one of my Tigey the Adventure Tiger books.

Daniel: Thanks, Jodi.

I hope my mom and dad will be able to fix everything.

Dr. Plat: Hmm, no matter what,

they will find a way to take care of you.

♪ to take care of you.

Your mom and dad can fix lots of things!

Daniel: Yup! My mom and dad are super-fixers!

Jodi: Super fixers!

Zooom!

Woooosh!

[flying sounds]

[laughter]

Daniel: Super fixers!!

Heyy--

Do you want to make believe with me?

Let's make believe...

my mom and dad are super heroes!

♪ Using Super Tools to save the day ♪

♪ Like when they dry a giant puddle ♪

♪ after it's been raining

♪ The Super Fixers can fix anything! ♪

♪ If your ball flies out of reach ♪

♪ Or if a fire hydrant springs a leak ♪

♪ Even if a tree falls down where you like to play ♪

♪ The Super Fixers will save the day ♪

Wasn't that grr-ific?

Nana Platypus: You're just in time for dinner.

I made a nice pot of soup to warm us all up!

Daniel: Tigey's hungry too!

Jodi: Come on, Daniel and Tigey!

Daniel: Let's go Tigey!

To the table! Woosh!

Daniel/Jodi: [giggle]

Nana: The super soup is ready!

Daniel/Jodi: [giggles]

Daniel: Hooray!

Daniel/Jodi/Leo/Teddy: Thank you!

Jodi: Mmmm!

Super spoon to the rescue!

[slurps]

Mmmm!

Daniel: I have a super spoon, too!

Wooosh!

Daniel/Jodi: [giggles]

Daniel: Yummy! Yummy!

Jodi: In my tum tum tummy!

Dr. Plat: Yum, delicious soup!

Daniel: Mmmm, I love super soup!

[giggles]

Nana: It keeps you nice and warm!

Jodi: All done, Mama!

Dr. Plat: Great.

You and Daniel can go play while we finish up

with Margaret, Leo and Teddy.

Daniel: Thank you for dinner!

Jodi: Come on, Daniel!

♪ Da da da da daaaa!

Super fixers! [laughter]

Daniel: Ding Ding! Here comes Trolley

to pick up our friends in the neighborhood!

Jodi: Be careful, Trolley.

There's snow everywhere!

See?

Daniel: Uh oh. Trolley's stuck in the snow!

Ding Ding ding ding!

Let's help dig Trolley out!

[giggles]

Dig!

Jody: [giggles]

Daniel: Dig dig...and dig!

Try again, Trolley!

Okay!

I mean, 'ding ding'!

Hooray!

Trolley isn't stuck anymore!

Let's drive through the neighborhood again!

Jodi: Yippee!

Daniel: [giggles]

Ding! Ding!

Dr. Plat: Daniel. Your Dad's here.

Daniel: Yay!

Jodi: He's here, he's here!

Daniel: Dad! Dad: Hey there, my fuzzy guy!

Daniel: Can we go back home?

Dad: We can!

Your mom and I fixed the heat and the pipe

so the house is warm again.

Daniel: Tigertastic!

Nana: Here's a thermos of soup.

I'm sure you're both hungry after all that fixing!

Dad: Oh, how very nice!

I love soup.

Thank you all for everything.

Jodi: Daniel! You can borrow my Tigey book tonight.

Daniel: Thank you!

Jodi: Bye-bye!

Daniel: Bye Jodi!

It's still snowing outside!

Dad: Yes it is!



Mom: Welcome home, my tigers!

Margaret: [happy babbles]

Daniel: Mom! Margaret: Hi, hi! [giggles]

Hi, hi! [babbles]

Daniel: Ooh, it feels so warm and cozy now.

Is that because the heat is fixed?

Mom: Yup!

And we fixed the pipe in your room too.

Come see.

Daniel: My mom and dad are super-fixers!

[giggles]

Mom: But your room is still a little wet,

Daniel: Oh!

So your dad and I had an idea.

Tonight we're going to sleep in the living room together!

Daniel: Together?

Even Margaret?

Mom: Mmhm!

Margaret: Night night! [giggles]

Dad: Come on in for a hug, Tigers.

Mom: Mmmmmm.

Margaret: Ugga mugga!

Daniel: Squeezy hug!

Mom: Now, are my little tigers

all comfy and cozy?

Daniel: Mm-hm.

Dad? Will you tell us a bedtime story?

Dad: I sure will!

Once upon a time, there were four tigers

who had a very snowy adventure.

And lots of surprising things happened!

But--

The grown-up tigers took care of the little tigers,

and soon, the snowstorm was over,

and the four tigers all went to sleep,

safe and sound.

[chuckles] The end.

Daniel: Mom? Dad?

Mom: Yes, Daniel?

Daniel: Thanks for taking care of me.

Mom/Dad: ♪ Grown-ups are here

♪ to take care of you.

Daniel: The snow storm was a little scary,

but it feels good to know

there are grown-ups to take care of us.

[yawns]

Good night, Neighbor.

Ugga Mugga.

Narrator: ♪ It's such a good feeling to play ♪

♪ with family and friends

♪ It's such a happy feeling,

♪ when they lend you a hand.

♪ You wake up, ready to say,

♪ I think I'll make a snappy new day! ♪
