Something really exciting is happening

in The Neighborhood today...

We're going to a wedding!

Do you know who's getting married?

Mom Tiger: Are you getting excited for the wedding?

Daniel: Uh huh!

And a wedding is one very special way.

Mom, what happens at a wedding?

from our wedding day.

when all our friends and family

sat quietly and watched

while your dad and I said how much we love each other.

Daniel: Ohh!

Mom Tiger: After the ceremony, we all celebrated with a party!

That sounds grr-ific!

Mom Tiger: And we had a beautiful wedding cake.

It tasted as good as it looked.

Oh, and everyone from The Neighborhood

decorated cookies for us!

Daniel: Yummy!

Will there be cookies and a wedding cake today, too?!

Mom Tiger: Every wedding is a little different,

but if I know Baker Aker...

I'm sure there will be

deeelicious treats!

Daniel: So...a wedding is all about 'love'?

Mom Tiger: That's right!

You know, all the neighbors are helping

with Dr. Anna and Baker Aker's wedding

in different ways.

I made these flower necklaces!

Daniel: And I get to wear one for my special job!

Mom Tiger: Hmm. You, my Daniel,

are going to be the "ring bearer"!

But I'm a tiger, not a bear!

The ring bear-er has an important job.

You get to carry the wedding rings!

[gasp] Let's pretend that Pandy and Tigey are getting married.

This is where all the neighbors will sit and watch.

Mom Tiger: Oh, shh-shh-shh! Okay everyone.

Here come Tigey and Pandy!

Daniel: [giggling]

Mom Tiger: [chuckles] Ohh!

They are oh, so in love!

Now, they'll stand right up here,

just like Baker Aker and Dr. Anna will.

Daniel: Is it time for them to say, 'I love you'?

Mom Tiger: Almost! But first,

they need their wedding rings.

Huh, but who will carry

their wedding rings down the aisle?

The ring bearer!

Daniel: That's me!

Mom Tiger: Mhm!

Here are the rings, Daniel.

[whispered] Just for pretend.

Daniel: [giggles]

Mom Tiger: Now, at the real wedding,

you'll walk in a straight line

slowly like this...

All the way to the end,

where you'll give the rings to Dr. Anna.

And then everyone listens quietly when they say,

Daniel: Yayyy!

we dance at the party!

I'm going to bring them to the bakery,

so Baker Aker can put them on top of the wedding cake!

It's almost time for the... wedding to begin!

let's get ready for the ceremony.

Prince Wednesday: Boop-she-boop-she-booo!

Queen Sara Saturday: It's time to settle down, Wednesday.

Prince Wednesday: Huh? But I want to dance!

Queen Sara Saturday: You will get to dance but first,

you're going to be part of the wedding ceremony

and walk down the aisle!

and calm during the ceremony.

Katerina Kittycat: I can't wait to go down the aisle,

and show everyone my flowery necklace, meow meow!

There are a lot of neighbors watching.

Whenever there's a wedding in our neighborhood,

each family decorates some cookies for the dessert table.

Daniel: Ohh!

The cookies are a way our neighborhood says,

'I love you', to Dr. Anna and Baker Aker.

Dad Tiger: Yes, it is!

Camille: Hi, I'm Camille, and today I'm going to learn

how to make a wedding cake.

Jen: Hi Camille, I'm Jen the baker.

Are you ready to make a wedding cake?

Camille: Yes! That sounds like so much fun!

What ingredients do we need?

Jen: Today we have eggs, milk, flour, sugar,

baking powder, salt, and butter.

Now we're gonna add some eggs.

I'll teach out how to cr*ck an egg.

[egg cracking]

Do you want to do one?

Camille: Yes!

[egg cracking]

Jen: Great job!

♪♪

Now it's time to pour our batter

into our three cake pans.

Let's pull that open here, all the way.

I'm gonna set them in.

Now that our cake is cooled, we're gonna pop it

out of the pan and ice it.

Camille: Gigantic scoops!

Jen: Beautiful!

♪♪

And this is our first layer

of the wedding cake.

Okay, now it's time to decorate our cake.

We have our piping bag full of icing,

which acts like the glue to add the flowers.

Here, you go.

Camille: Thank you! Jen: Yes.

Camille: So, like this.

Jen: Beautiful!

And now, our cake is done.

Camille: It looks amazing!

Ready? Jen: Yeah.

Camille: Three... Camille/Jen: [laughs]

Baker Aker: You kept the beautiful flowers

from our nature walk!

so we can keep adding to it.
