Dylan's Mom: Well today, we're at a community garden,

and this is where people come together to garden,

and water, and weed, and take care of plants.

Dylan: Can we help? Dylan's Mom: Sure!

Dylan, do you see these little green plants?

Dylan: Yeah! Dylan's Mom: These are weeds.

We need to take these out

so that we can plant our tomato plants.

Dylan: Why?

Dylan' Mom: To make more room for our plants to grow.

Dylan: This one's big.

Yeah! Dylan's Mom: There ya go!

Okay, now we're gonna take our shovels

and we're gonna dig a small hole to put our tomato plants in.

Now it's time to plant our tomatoes.

Dylan: This is gonna be fun!

Dylan's Mom: Take it out slowly

and put it right in the hole.

Now take your shovel and fill in the dirt.

Plants need sunlight and water to grow.

They get some water from the rain, but we need to help them.

Would you like to water your tomato plant?

Dylan: Sure!

Dylan's Mom: Dylan, now we can come back

and take care of our tomatoes.

When they grow, we can pick them

and we can share them with our neighbors.

at the Enchanted Garden!

It takes a lot of work to keep the Enchanted Garden

looking so beautiful

Mom Tiger: [chuckles]

Daniel: Oooh! Let's start planting the flowers now!

Let's wait to find out what Queen Sara would like us to do.

Queen Sara: First, we need to pull out those weeds.

Then we can dig the holes

and plant the flowers.

Mom Tiger: Pull out weeds? We can do that job!

Daniel: I thought we were planting flowers.

That's the most important job.
