Look at that! Today's my anniversary!

It's the exact day I started working at the carnival,

a momentous occasion!

A cause for celebration! I'd better tell the others.

Maybe we can have a little party.

JACKHmm. It's about time the new costumes got here!

There must be some mistake. These aren't costumes!

They're Christmas decorations!

Well, doesn't that just take the cake!

Did I just hear someone say "Cake"?

Could it be? It must be!

Jack's got a cake!

He remembered it's my anniversary and got me a cake!

I wonder if the others know too.

MAN ON TVAnd now we return you to "Animal Hospital".

WOMAN ON TVPriscilla, I have something I have to tell you.

Ooh! What could it be?

She's not really Priscilla's sister.

She's actually the long-lost Queen of Malibutu.

I'm the long lost Queen of Malibutu.

And she has to leave because her kingdom needs her.

I must leave tonight. My kingdom needs me!

Incredible!

How 'bout some more popcorn, toots?

Coming right up!

Edna, you really are all seeing and all knowing!

What can I say? It's a gift!

What was that? "A gift"? They've got a gift?

It must be for me!

What? Who's there?

Stripes, have you seen my ball? The big striped one?

You woke me up for a ball?

Yes, have you seen it?

No, I haven't seen it!

Are you sure you don't have it?

Does it look like it's in here?

Oh, maybe I ate it!

Well, that wouldn't be such a surprise!

"A surprise"?

A cake, a gift and a surprise?

They're planning a surprise party for me!

Oh, I've never had a surprise party before!

(Humming)

Hello, Marvin.

Oh, hi, Diamonds. Were you in there?

I didn't hear you. I didn't know you were there.

Nope, I sure didn't!

Have you seen my striped ball?

I can't do my new routine without it.

Well, I wasn't snooping around. So, I haven't seen anything.

I haven't heard anything and-- Whoa!

(Chuckling)

Okay, well, if you see it--

I think I saw your ball in the performance tent, Diamonds.

Oh, thank you, Eddy!

So, are you all ready, Marvin?

I, uh, ready for what?

Jack wants everyone to have their new routines ready

for the end of the week!

Oh, that.

I've got it covered, good thing too!

Now it won't interfere with today!

(Humming)

See you later, alligator!

In a while, crocodile.

MARVINOh my, what a surprise!

A party? For me?

Aww, you shouldn't have!

Marvin, hurry up! You're late for the staff meeting!

A "Staff meeting"! Okay, if you say so!

Now you just run along. And get everything ready.

And I'll be right there!

But I-- Oh, suit yourself.

It's party time!

Here I come!

Well, isn't this a surprise!

"A surprise"? We have staff meetings every week!

Oh, right,

this is a staff meeting.

Yeah, a staff meeting.

Now sit down!

First announcementThe new costumes haven't arrived yet.

Aww.

They sent the wrong box.

Hopefully, the right box will arrive by Friday.

Next, uh, how are the new routines coming along?

Marvin, could you come help me for a minute?

I bet this is it! I'll just have a bit of fun first.

Uh, sorry, Diamonds. I'm kind of in a hurry right now.

Oh? Why?

Uh, I, umm, got to have a bath!

All right then, see you later.

But my bath can always wait if you really need some help!

Are you sure, Marvin? That's very sweet.

Okay, I'm entering the tent now!

That's nice, Marvin.

Now could you watch my new routine

and tell me what you think?

Sure, Diamonds,

go right ahead.

EDDYLunch time!

Thanks, Eddy. What've you got?

I've got oats and an apple!

Thanks for the special treat. What's the occasion?

No occasion.

Well, it's certainly a surprise. I just love surprises.

In fact, probably the only thing I like more than surprises,

are parties.

Parties?

Aww, you don't have to pretend with me, Eddy.

I figured out about the surprise party.

"Surprise party"?

Yeah, don't worry, Eddy.

I won't let on. I'll act real surprised!

"Surprise party"?

Who's getting a surprise party?

Marvin. Well, he thinks he is. But nobody's planning anything.

Well then he's in for a surprise, all right.

You're all-seeing, all-knowing.

Why does Marvin think he's getting a party?

Hmm. It's not his birthday.

No.

He hasn't won anything.

Don't think so.

He's not graduating from anywhere.

Uh-uh.

He's not getting married.

Yuck!

I give up.

It doesn't matter.

Marvin thinks he's getting a party.

And I'm going to give him one!

Time's running out.

I wonder when this party is getting started.

(Insects chirping)

Nice evening, isn't it?

Beautiful.

Have any plans for tonight?

Sure do.

You do?

I'm planning on getting a good night's sleep,

starting right now.

Good night, Marvin.

Good night, Stripes.

How about you, Elizabeth? Doing anything special tonight?

Oh, yes! I've been looking forward to tonight for ages!
