Your efforts as parents have been noticed.

They really have.

With the pair of you, and that shows itself

In the secondary behavior that we see from the kids

Because then they start to answer back.

You see them become defiant,

Because they can't change that

Because two big parents are controlling everything.

It's like big brother--bam.

To the kids, it just seems like you're upset with them

It was, um, just a little bit strange, to say the least.

The head being swung back to the pillow,

Then being chained down to the sofa--

Which is absolutely crazy.

What made you not even think

To put a toothbrush in their hand?

I just didn't want 'em to have rotten teeth.

I mean, so many kids do, and...

But the way that you do it takes all the fun out of it,

And it becomes a control issue.

Of course we want to make sure it's done properly,

But we've got to allow our children

To be able to do it themselves.

Mimi.

Let's talk about mimi.

Well, she certainly helps us keep our head above water.

She's a big part.we--we depend on her a lot.
