- [Bill] The Adventures of Bottle Top Bill
- [Corky] And his best friend Corky.
♫ Bottle Top Bill
- [Corky] What's today's adventure called, Bill?
- [Bill] The Fairy With No Wings.
- [Corky] What a wonderful day it is today, Bill.
- [Bill] I'm with you, Corky, it's a beauty.
- [Corky] Let's go into the garden and see all the flowers.
- [Bill] Great idea, Corky, I love flowers.
(flowers whimper)
- What's the matter with the flowers, Bill?
They look sad.
- They do look sad.
You should give them some plant food, Corky.
- I don't have any.
Bill, look at this strange bee.
- A bee? I'm not a bee. I'm Dandy, the fairy.
- A fairy?
- Hello, dandy, my name's Bill.
- And I'm Corky.
- But if you're a fairy,
you'd have wings. Where are your wings?
- I've lost my wings.
I don't suppose you've seen them, have you?
- Fairy wings?
- I'm sorry, but we haven't seen any fairy wings.
- I woke up from a nap, and my wings were gone.
And now, I can't fly,
I'm not a proper fairy if I don't have wings.
I have to find my wings.
- Hey, slow down. We'll help you.
Dandy, come back.
She's disappeared.
- This way, Bill.
(sloshing)
- [Corky] What's this strange place, Bill?
- [Bill] I don't know, Corky,
but it's very strange, alright.
- [Corky] What's this building?
- [Bill] I'm not sure. Let's watch.
(soft music)
I think I know. It's a castle.
- [Corky] Wow.
Look, Bill. Steps to the castle.
- [Bill] And look, lots of strange plants too, Corky.
(soft music)
- [Corky] I've never seen plants like these before, Bill.
- [Bill] Me neither, Corky.
- [Corky] Look at them, these are the strangest plants ever.
- [Bill] They sure are.
- [Corky] They're almost magical plants.
- [Bill] Magical castle, magical plants?
What kind of a place is this?
Paint me pink. Where are we, Corky?
- We must be in Fairy Land.
- Fairy Land?
- Bill, look over there.
It's a flower.
(harp music)
- Flowers everywhere, Corky.
- They're so beautiful. I wish my flowers looked like these.
- If we ask nicely, Dandy the fairy might let us have some.
- Where is Dandy?
(slurping)
- [Bill] What's that sound?
(evil laugh)
- [Corky] Watch out Bill.
- Out of my way.
- Duck.
- Wah.
- Poor flowers.
- What was that thing?
- I don't know, Bill.
But it's coming back again.
- Well, run.
(screams)
Over there, Corky.
Let's hide in this cave.
(wood creaking)
(coin jingling)
- We should be safe in here, Bill.
What's that noise, Bill?
- I don't know, but it sounds pretty scary.
- Oy, you two.
- [Bill and Corky] A dragon.
- Have you come to steal my treasure?
- No, Mister Dragon, we don't steal treasure.
- Definitely not, Mister Dragon, not us.
- Good, because treasure stealers aren't nice.
Not nice at all, they're not.
- Rumble, Rumble.
I've lost my wings, and I can't find them anywhere.
- [Bill and Corky] Dandy.
- What are you doing here?
- We came to help you find your wings.
- Thank you, but why're you here in Rumble's cave?
- We were hiding from that flying thing.
- What flying thing?
- That flying thing.
- Look out.
(everyone screams)
- That's Tricky, the Troll.
- Tricky's the naughtiest troll in Fairly Land, he is.
- Beautiful. I'll have this.
- He's stolen my jewel.
- And you can't catch me, because I can fly.
- And he's stolen my wings.
- And you'll never get them back. (evil laugh)
- What are we going to do?
- Jump on my back, everyone.
(soft music)
- Can anyone see Tricky?
(yells loudly)
- There he is.
Just at look what he's doing to those beautiful flowers.
- There'll be no flowers left, soon.
- Fairy dust will fix them. Take us down, Rumble.
(enchanting music)
- That's fantastic.
- They're as good as new.
- But I don't have much fairy dust left.
If I don't get my wings back, Tricky will destroy
all of Fairy Land.
- After him, Rumble.
I think I might have a plan.
We'll make a special trap to catch Tricky.
- (evil laugh) They'll never catch me now.
I'll be king, I'll be--
Wow.
Biggest jewel I've ever seen. Rumble must've dropped it,
and now, it's going to be mine.
- [Bill] Right, get ready to catch him.
- [Corky] Ready, Bill.
- Ready?
- Let's go.
- [All] Ready.
- Whoa, what's this?
- It's a trap, that's what.
- Heh, you can't trap me, I can fly.
(evil laughter)
What's going on? I'm getting dizzy.
- Ready to give up, Tricky?
- Never.
- Are you sure?
(Tricky yells)
- Alright.
- [Bill] Stop the machine, folks.
- Here, take your wings.
- I hope they still work.
They do, they work perfectly.
You've been very naughty, tricky.
- And very greedy.
- (sniffles) I'm sorry, all I really wanted was to fly.
- If you could fly, would you promise to behave yourself?
- Oh yes, yes I promise, really and truly.
- And you'd never steal anything again?
- Never, ever, ever.
- And you'd be kind to all the flowers?
- All of them, each and every one.
- Right then, let's get to work, Corky.
There you are, Tricky.
- For me?
I can fly. And I don't need wings.
Thank you, Bill, thank you, Corky.
I'll be the best behaved troll, ever.
- Thank you, Bill. And you too, Corky.
Is there anything I can do, to help you?
- Well, there is something.
My flowers at home are looking very sad.
I was wondering if--
- Say no more, Corky. Here.
- Fairy dust, to use on my flowers.
- Thanks Dandy.
- Use it carefully, won't you?
- You bet, Dandy.
- Alright, Corky.
Let's see if this fairy dust really does work.
- Remember what Dandy said, Bill,
we have to use it very carefully.
- Very, very carefully.
- Bill, I don't think you should
get it so close to your nose.
- I just wanna look at it, Corky.
- Really, Bill, I think-
- No.
(Bill sneezes)
- Corky, the fairy dust works.
- It sure does, Bill. These are the best flowers
our garden's ever had.
- (laughs) When you're right, Corky, you're right.
♫ Bottle Top Bill
- [Corky] What's today's adventure called, Bill?
- [Bill] Today's adventure is,
Cow of a Time.
Now, Corky, have a guess where today's adventure
is going to start.
- [Corky] This looks like Mrs.Whistlehead's farm, Bill.
- [Bill] Spot on, Corky.
- [Corky] Why're we going there today?
- [Bill] Because Mrs. Whistlehead grows the tastiest
vegetables around.
- [Corky] That's true, I love Mrs. Whistlehead's vegetables,
there's all kinds of delicious treats.
- [Bill] Like her beautiful tomatoes.
- [Corky] And don't forget her tasty turnips, too.
- [Bill] My favorites are the crispy carrots.
- [Corky] Yum.
And my favorites are the leafy green lettuces.
- [Bill] There's no doubt about it, Mrs. Whistlehead
has the nicest vegetable patch you could find.
- [Corky] And it's on one of the
nicest farms you could find, too.
Those vegetables sure look tasty, Bill.
- If we're lucky, Mrs. Whistlehead might give us some
to take home.
- [Corky] Bill, do you get the feeling
that someone else is around?
- [Bill] I do, Corky. Who do you think it could be?
- [Corky] I'm not sure.
- [Bill] I'm not sure either.
(Maisie mooing)
It's Maisie the cow.
- She likes Mrs. Whistlehead's vegetables, too.
- If Maisie had the chance, she'd eat those vegetables
in the wink of an eye.
- That would make Mrs. Whistlehead very cross.
- [Bill] Where is Mrs. Whistlehead?
- [Corky] I don't know. She should be around here somewhere.
- [Bill] Here she comes now.
- Good morning, Bill. Good morning, Corky.
- [Bill and Corky] Hi, Mrs. Whistlehead.
- I'm so glad you're here.
I have such a problem.
- A problem, Mrs. Whistlehead?
- I have to visit my sister,
but I also have to watch Maisie.
I don't want her to get into the vegetable patch.
- We can look after Maisie.
- Leave it to us, Mrs. Whistlehead.
- Oh, you're so kind. I'll give you a basket of vegetables
for being so helpful.
- You don't have to do that, we'll do it for nothing.
- (laughs) But I know how much you like my vegetables.
- You're right, Mrs. Whistlehead, we can't fool you.
- You can take these with you, when you leave.
- [Bill and Corky] Thanks, Mrs. Whistlehead.
- [Corky] Looks like Mrs. Whistlehead is going to travel
on her motorbike.
- [Mrs. Whistlehead] C'mon, Timmy.
- [Bill] Who's that traveling with her?
- [Corky] That's Timmy, her friendly farm dog.
- [Bill] It is too, you're right Corky.
(Timmy barks)
- [Bill and Corky] Bye Mrs. Whistlehead.
- You beauty. We'll soon have those vegetables, Corky.
All we have to do is look after Maisie.
- That should be really easy, Bill.
- Where is Maisie?
- [Corky] I hope she's not Mrs. Whistlehead's flowers.
- [Bill] Or eating Mrs. Whistlehead's washing.
- [Corky] Where could she be?
- [Bill] I just don't know.
(Maisie moos)
- [Corky] I hope she's not trying to trick us, Bill.
- [Bill] I hope so too, Corky.
(Maisie moos)
Where is that naughty cow.
- Maisie?
- Where are you?
- Bill, look up there.
- Paint me pink, it's a flying cow.
- Maisie's going to fly into the vegetable patch.
- Let's catch her before she does.
Hold it up, Corky.
Got her.
(Maisie moos)
Maisie, I'm hopping mad.
You're a very naughty cow for trying to get into
Mrs. Whistlehead's vegetable patch.
How could you be so silly?
You're a very naughty cow, Maisie.
And we're very, very cross with you.
(Maisie mooing)
Maisie.
- Maisie, where are you going?
(Maisie mooing)
- [Bill] Maisie.
- [Corky] Maisie, come back.
Maisie's run away, Bill.
- And it's all my fault. I was too cross with him.
- Don't worry, Bill, we'll find Maisie.
- And I'll tell her I'm sorry.
- We should hurry though, she might get lost.
- Right, Corky, let's get cracking.
- [Corky] Where do you think Maisie will go?
- [Bill] To the city?
- [Corky] No, cows don't like the city.
- [Bill] To the country.
- [Corky] Yes, cows like the country.
Especially down beside the river.
- [Bill] Poor Maisie, I do hope she doesn't get lost.
- [Corky] Maisie.
(Maisie mooing)
- [Bill] Maisie.
- [Corky] We're nearly at the river, Bill.
- No sign of Maisie here, Corky.
- Yes, there is, Bill.
Look, Maisie's made tracks and they head along the river.
- Well spotted, Corky.
And I know how to catch up to Maisie.
- [Corky] What's this, Bill?
- [Bill] You watch.
- Great idea, a canoe.
- Let's get rowing, Corky.
We'll catch up with Maisie in no time.
- I hope so, Bill.
The countryside around is pretty wild and scary.
And all sorts of strange creatures around around.
- Is someone there?
(Maisie mooing)
That sounds like a cow.
(Maisie mooing)
It is a cow. Hello, cow.
Hey, I'm not gonna harm you, come back.
Oh dear, oh dear. Come back.
- Did you hear someone call out, Bill?
- Too right, Corky. Let's see if they need help.
- [Corky] Right.
- Oh dear, oh dear.
- Hello there, what's wrong?
- You don't sound very happy, Mister Scarecrow.
- I'm not. I just tried to make friends with a cow,
but she ran away.
- That must be Maisie, Bill.
- Right, Corky. I suppose she got a fright seeing a
scarecrow out here in the trees.
- Why are you out here in the trees, Mister Scarecrow?
- Yeah, why aren't you on a farm scaring birds?
Like all the other scarecrows?
- I don't like scaring birds, I don't like scaring anyone.
I'm afraid I'm not a very good scarecrow.
- You did a good job of scaring Maisie.
- I know, that's why I feel so sad.
(sniffles)
- Nevermind, you can help us find her, if you'd like.
- Can I?
- You bet. What's your name, Mister Scarecrow?
- Sandy.
- I'm Corky.
- And I'm Bill. Can you tell us which way Maisie went?
- Follow me.
- [Corky] Where do you think we're going, Bill?
- [Bill] I think it's towards the highway, Corky.
- [Corky] The highway? Isn't that very dangerous?
- [Bill] It is very dangerous, and very confusing, too.
Poor Maisie won't know where to look or what to do.
- [Corky] We'd better hurry then, if we don't,
Maisie could get even more scared
and run into all sorts of trouble.
- [Bill] Oh I do wish I hadn't been cross with Maisie.
- [Corky] Don't worry Bill, we'll probably find her
resting by a tree beside the road.
- [Bill] I do hope so, Corky.
(Maisie mooing)
(truck honks)
Can you see her yet?
- [Corky] Not yet, Bill.
(car honks)
(Maisie mooing)
(car honks)
(Maisie mooing)
Bill, stop. Maisie's trapped in the middle of the road.
- We have to rescue her.
If only we had some rope.
- You can take some of my straw, to make a rope.
- Don't you need it?
- Not at all, I've always got plenty of straw.
- Great idea, Sandy. Let's do it, Corky.
- [Corky] We'll need to get up high to throw the rope.
- Got it.
Here goes.
- Well done, Bill.
- Thanks Sandy.
- What's the plan, Bill?
- Watch, Corky.
- [Corky] A sling.
- All I need, is a push.
- Ready, Bill? - Ready, Bill?
- Let's go.
(Bill yelps)
Boy, Maisie, have you caused us a lot of trouble.
But nevermind, we're happy you're safe.
Hop in, Maisie.
Away we go.
(Bill cheers)
- Can we go home now, Bill?
- Too right, Corky.
But Maisie, you have to promise, no more running away.
- And no more going into Mrs. Whistlehead's vegetable patch.
(Maisie mooing)
- Thanks, Maisie.
- Sandy, we'll walk you home first,
before we go back to Mrs. Whistlehead's farm.
- I, I don't have a home right now.
- You don't have a home?
- I'm such a useless scarecrow, no one will have me.
- That's where you're wrong, Sandy.
You do have a home.
- I do? Where?
- Come with us, and we'll show you.
Here we are.
- And just in time. Here comes Mrs. Whistlehead.
- Oh, that was close.
Quickly, Sandy, get ready.
- I hope Mrs. Whistlehead likes me.
- Hello Bill, hello Corky.
- Hi Mrs. Whistlehead.
- Good news, Mrs. Whistlehead,
Maisie didn't get into the vegetable patch.
- Wonderful.
- And we found a great scarecrow for you.
- A scarecrow?
They scare the birds away. I like birds.
- It's okay, Mrs. Whistlehead.
Sandy likes birds too.
- Birds are actually by best friends, Mrs. Whistlehead.
- Marvelous. Alright, Sandy, you've got the job.
- Thank you, Mrs. Whistlehead. I'm so happy.
- Now, where's Maisie?
- She's over there, Mrs. Whistlehead.
- [Bill and Corky] Huh?
- You haven't lost her, have you?
- [Bill and Corky] No, Mrs. Whistlehead.
- Then where is she?
- Oh no.
- What's the matter, Corky?
- She's eating our vegetables.
- Maisie, you naughty cow.
(Maisie mooing)
Nevermind, I'll get you another basket of vegetables.
- [Bill and Corky] Thanks, Mrs. Whistlehead.
- Come on, Timmy.
- That Maisie is the trickiest cow I know, Bill.
- When you're right, Corky, you're right.
