The second Camp Champ Grand Prix race

is coming up faster
than a turbo racer at top speed.

For this race, we're kicking things
into a whole new gear.

you'll be using... boosters!

[laughing] Oh, yeah.
I'm so pumped,

even though I don't know why.

[Spark] Boosters are power-ups
that Hot Wheels racers use

to get special skills during a race.

[laughs] I'm so pumped,

and now I totally know why.

Boosters are great
when used correctly,

but they can be very hard to control.

Are you ready to learn
how to use boosters?

I've brought in a very special guest.

It's Striker Spoiler!

He's the current pro-racing champ.

Plus, he's got his own line of
signature Striker Spoiler spray cheese.

And he's... my dad.

There's my Axle to the Maxel.

And great to meet you racers.

Especially you, Coop.

If you are tied with my son,

you must be a pretty amazing racer.

[Axle groans]

My dad thinks Coop's so great.

But I'll show him I'm the ultimate
Ultimate Garage racer.

Now, before we hit the tracks,

the best way to hit the speed booster.

It can be hard to master,

[Axle gasps]

[cheese gurgling]

The car is leaking
some kind of orange goo.

It's spraying spray cheese!

Mm, cheddar.

If that stuff's in the engine,

This is out of control!

in the Dragon Blaster.

all the attention Coop was getting.

the right choices.

since I'm at the top of the leaderboard,

until you've crossed the finish line.

[sign chiming]

the race is about to start.

the tracks to the finish line.

The race is worth five Flame Badges,

so you best bring your A-game.

Hey, Dash,
speaking of Flame Badges,

don't I get an advantage
for having the most right now?

You sure do, Coop.

Squeakers, let's show him
what he's won.

[board chiming]

While racers can
get boosters on the track,

like speed, big air, and oil slick,

Coop will start the race
with all three boosters

and can use them anytime he wants.

We're here to bring you all the action

from the second
Camp Champ Grand Prix race.

You know, I worked
with these kids earlier,

and any one of them
can win today's race.

They're all great.

[racers cheering]

[Speedy] The racers
are approaching the car wash.

Let's see who makes a splash.

Don't get too comfy
in the lead, Coop.

-You won't be there long.
-Oh, yeah?

Well, let's see how slick you are
when I use my oil booster.

[oil gurgling]

[Striker] What an excellent use
of the oil slick booster, Speed.

Could not agree more.

I haven't seen something
that good and greasy

since my lunch
at Larry's Pizza Parlor.

[tires screeching]

[Axle sighs]

[cars whooshing]

[racers struggling]

Coop is first through the car wash!

with laughter after I do this.

[Axle blows raspberry]

[Axle gasps]

-[pedal clicks]

These kids will flip out,

because up next is the pinball
flipper steering challenge.

[Coop] Not me.

I don't have to steer
around those flippers.

I got my big air booster.

[car blasts]

That isn't big air,
it's ginormous air.

-[Coop] Whoo-hoo!
-Huh?

[car thumps]

Back in first.

[flippers ringing]

[Spark laughing]

Whoa. Now that's what I call
jumping out to a big lead.

And that lead's
about to get even bigger.

Speed Booster, activated.

[car blasts]

And Coop approaches
the final leg of the race.

All he has to do is stay the course
and he can coast to victory.

[car revving]

I'm so sure I'm gonna win,
I think I'll give the crowd

a little something extra to cheer for.

[crowd chanting] Coop, Coop,

Time to cross the finish line in style.

[tires screeching]

[car thuds]

[crowd gasps]

[engine revving]

Oh, it looks like Coop's
swagger has him stuck

between a rock and a hard place.

Or in this case, an ice cream cone
and squishy place.

He broke the second rule
of racing, Speed,

"The race ain't over
till you cross the finish line."

The first rule,
"Always buckle your seat belt."

[Coop groaning]

[laughs] Hey, Coop,

looks like you had a total meltdown.

[laughing] Melt!

Yeah, 'cause, you know, ice cream.

[exciting music]

This is why I eat
my ice cream in a cup.

[groans] I was so sure I'd win,

but all I did was go from first to worst.

[car bubbling]

Axle, hasn't anyone ever told you?

We're coming down to the wire.
It's gonna be a photo finish.
