[Buzz grunts]

I would describe that as, um...

[Buzz yelling]

-[Buzz thuds]

ouchie ankle-itis.

[Walter gasps]

There's gotta be some mistake.

Nothing a bit of bed rest won't fix.

What Jay means

[moans]

as an ouchie ankle.

[all laughing]

[all laugh]

that Buzz needs her?

[Kumi] Postman Bee!

It's for Blackbird.

A double-belly urgent delivery.

Ooh. For Blackbird. Okay.

Well, I'll do my best, but, uh...

-[voice speaks indistinctly over radio]

so, don't hold your breath
waiting for a reply.

Uh, naturally.

That would just, um, deprive us
of oxygen... obviously.

So, now we have to keep Buzz happy
while we wait.

The thing that would make me
the mostest happiest would be, um, um...

going to the beach.

[sighs] It's number two, as well.

Aw, we'll go to the beach, Buzz,
as soon as your ankle's better.

Well, I have an idea,

but it's, um... highly experimental.

the test pilot first, Buzz.

Uh, remember, Jay, the Crickta-wheel-atron
presently has no, uh...

brakes.

[laughing]

[Jay yells]

[wheelchair crashes]

[laughs] It worked, Buzz. It worked.

And one day it'll work again. [grunts]

Correct, but not any time soon...
unfortunately.

[sighs]

Try to be patient, Buzz.

I already is a patient.

Uh, I do have some other ideas,
but they're even more, uh...

-Insane?
-[Kumi] Experimental?

Exciting?

Uh, dangerous.

Jay will test them, won't you?

Postman Bee!

Now, I, uh,
should point out the design flaws.

[Walter and Kumi grunting]

[sighs]

you should land right in the great ocean.

[grunts]

And... he's gone. So, does that mean...?

Well, there are two possible, uh, results.

One, Jay made it.

[gasps] Yes! He made it!

[Jay yells]

[both grunt]

[Jay grunts]

Sorry, Postman Bee. You okay?

[sighs] Fine, but please leave flying
to the professionals, hmm?

Oh, I'm running late.

[Kumi] Wait, Mr. Postman!

Is there a letter from Blackbird yet?

[sighs] I guess
we just have to be patient.

[sighs]

Buzz needs Blackbird now.

-[Walter pants]

[all moan]

Hmm. It's from Blackbird,
but all it says is:

"Dear Buzz, look up."

[gasps] Blackbird! Blackbird!

You-- You came back!

[Blackbird] Hey, little Buzz.

I got word
that you needed some cheering up.

Let's go see the others.

[yawns]

What a waste of a perfect beach day.

[Blackbird scatting]

[all gasp] Blackbird!

[chuckles] Yeah, I came
as soon as I got your letter.

Mm. It's so great to see you all again.

[sighs] We missed you, Blackbird.

So, anyone want a ride to the beach?

-[laughs] Are you kidding?!
-Oh, my belly-ness! Yes!

[bugs laughing]

[whooping]

[all laughing]

Another wave is approaching.

The beach is the bestest!

[all laugh]

[chuckles]

Ah, beautiful.

[Julia laughs] I love bubbles.

[Julia laughs]

[laughing]

[Kumi] Whoa. You've made the garden
look so beautiful, Doris.

[Doris] Oh, go on with you.

Anyway, our garden was beautiful already.

-[Walter sniffs]
-[Buzz] What's the matter, Waltzie?

Nothing. It's just...

how could anywhere be more perfect
than here?

[footsteps stomping]

[man] So, yeah, I grew up here.

Garden was great when I was a kid.

Yeah, but look at it.

It's an overgrown bug-infested dump.

Ex-squish me! How dare you gigants--?

[Walter grunting]

[workman] Yeah, no sweat, buddy.
We can fix this in no time.

Take a look.
We just poison all the plants,

-then, you know, concrete it over.
-[bugs scream]

[workman] Done and dusted.

That's horrisible.

A disaster.

Yeah, they'll never do it.

[workman] Yeah, we'll start tomorrow.
First thing.

[all grunt]

[Buzz] What's will happen to us
if our home is like this?

We're all doomed! Doomed, I say!

Hey, chillax, Walter.

It can't be that bad... can it, Crick?

Oh, I'm-- I'm afraid so.

No bugs can live in this,
uh, conkerreet world.

Let's call a meeting
of every bug in the garden.

Come on! Jay-action time!

[Julia laughing]

[footsteps stomping]

[woman] Julia, darling.

Um, we need to talk to you...
about the garden.

[Julia] What is it, Mom?

[crowd chattering]

[Crick] We need, uh... ideas.

Lots and lots of ideas.

Or from tomorrow,
this is what our home will look like.

[crowd gasping]

Okay, we know the gigants
are bigger than us.

Way bigger.

-Like, way, way, much, much--
-Excuse me.

We can't let them wreck our home.

What choice have we got?

It's not like we can step on them, is it?

Excuse me. I-- I have an ideas. I have--

Hey! That don't look so bad to me,

and us cockroaches can live anywhere,
you know. [laughs]

Hello! Hello! I have an ideas.

Listen! Listen to Buzz!

Go on, Buzz.

Oh, I was thinking,

maybe the littlest gigant
loves this garden, too, so--

So, if we tell her, "Hey, littlest gigant,

would you likes to playing here,
don't you?

But if it gets all covered
in horrisible conkerreet,

you won't have nowhere to play."

[gasps]

And-- And-- And then the littlest gigant
would tell the big gigants, "No! Stop!

Don't cover my playground.
It's my garden, too!"

See? Problem solved.

Yeah, right. And how do we get a gigant
to listen to a bug, huh?

Especially the smallest bug in the garden.

-[crowd laughs]
-No offense, Buzz.

Small bugs can have good ideas, too.

[Buzz sighs]

[Jay] What if Doris wraps her web
around the gigants' legs...?

So many words, words and words and words.

♪ Words are flowing out like endless rain
Into a paper cup ♪

♪ They slither wildly as they slip away
Across the universe ♪

Are drifting through my opened mind ♪

a clever-wer idea.

You know, I still think the only solution
is for me to sting that big gigant.

We'll link arms and sit in a group
so they can't possibly move us.

What about you, Crick?
You're usually our ideas bug.

Uh, sorry, but I can't think with--
With all this noise.

I-- I-- I need quiet.

Everyone! Uh, can we have some...

[shouting] quiet please!

[crowd gasps]

Thank you. Now Crick can think.

-Uh, Crick?
-Oh. Uh...

Let's just, um, stay silent a moment

so we can catch any thought bubbles
that, uh, float by.

Ooh, my! There's one already.

[Buzz laughing]

It's me, everybody. It's Buzz.

[all gasp]

[yells, then laughs]

This is my idea to save the garden.

Come on!

Hmm.

And we all fly in our own bubb-less
up in the sky

and talk to the gigants.

[Buzz pants, then grunts]

[blowing]

[Buzz yells, then thuds]

I don't understand
why it's not working anymore.

Are you sure
this is what you did before, Buzz?

This is like your tenth try.

Um, maybe you need to slide faster,
or blow harder, or...

[blows]

[gasps]

Wait, Buzz.
I-- I think I might have the answer.

[grunting]

Woohoo! [laughs]

[laughs] It works! It works!

So, who wants a ride in--
In-- In a bubble?

[all cheer]

[laughs] Woohoo!

Yay for Buzz!

Hi-ya!

Oh, my.

Can you make mine
double thickness, please?

[screams, then grunts]

[giggles]

[Walter laughs]

[all laughing]

with, uh, tiny creatures inside?

[Julia] Yes, yes, yes.
They were calling out something.

I couldn't quite hear it.

It might have been "save our home"?

[woman sighs] And you're sure
you didn't just imagine all that?

[Julia] Mom, I didn't. I really didn't.
