Whoo-hoo!

[engine chugging slows]

Have you ever been afraid

to tell someone

you've done something wrong?

When I was working

on the Indian Railway,

I tried to fix a mistake

all on my own

and ended up making things

a whole lot worse.

[whistle toots]

All aboard for a big adventure!

"Thomas Makes A Mistake."It was early morningat the stationand Charubalawas waiting to give usall our jobs for the day.

[whistle toots]

[Charubala]

Early again, Thomas?

I've decided to give you

a very special job;

a delivery of precious silk

to a famous fashion designer

in Surajpur.

I've never been

that way before.

You need to take the turning

after the lake.

The next station after that

is Surajpur.

Thanks, Charubala, ma'am!

I can't wait!

[metallic thudding]

[whistle blows]

[whistle toots]

[Thomas]

The journey was amazing.I saw loads of newand exciting things.

[camel grunts]

Wow, camels...

[gasps]

I didn't realize

they had camels in India, too.

I need to look for that

turning after the lake...

-[elephant trumpets]

-[grunts] Hey!

-[elephants trumpeting]

-Wow.

I didn't know

elephants could swim.

[giggles]

I wish I could swim, too.

[elephants trumpeting]

Whoo-hoo!

[gasps]

[whimpers]

Maybe swimming's not for me!

[chicken squawks]

Huh?

Before I knew it,I had arrived.

Keep your chickens

under control!

[chickens squawking]

[whistle toots]

Thomas?

What are you doing here?

I'm delivering some...

[gasps]

Hey, did you know

elephants can swim?

Yes, of course.

Oh.

Can I leave these cars here?

-[female voice] Yes.

-Great!

Thanks.

See you later!

[whistle toots]

Yes!

Sorry?

What did you say?

[gasps]

Thomas!

Come back!

-[whistle toots]

-[goat bleats]

Thomas?

I heard about your

very important job.

How was it?

Oh, so cool!

I saw a mountain railway,

and camels,

and swimming elephants.

And the station?

I bet you've never

seen so many flowers.

And how friendly

is the station master?

[scoffs]

Friendly?

The station master I saw

was shouting at a farmer.

And I don't remember

any flowers.

You did take the turning

after the lake, didn't you?

Oh, no!

I was daydreaming about

swimming with the elephants

and I went the wrong way!

Thomas, if you've left those

cars at the wrong station,

you need to tell Charubala

straight away.

No!

I'll get in trouble.

I've gotta fix it myself...

[whistle toots]

Before anyone finds out.

But Thomas!

[goat bleats]

No time to see the view,

or the funny camels...

[chuckles]

[panting] And definitely

no time for a swim.

[elephant trumpets]

Oh, that's the junction

I should've turned off at.

Oh, but not until

I get my cars back!

[whistle toots]

[pants]

Oh, my cars!

Oh, phew.

That's lucky.

-Thomas, those cars--

-[laughing] I know.

I brought them

to the wrong place.

Don't worry.

I'm fixing it.

Thomas!

Come back!

-Okay, no time to lose.

-[rails squeal]

This is definitely

the right way to Surajpur.

-[sniffs]

-[whistle toots]

Oh!

Ah, you must be Thomas.

How are you?

Yes... [chuckles]

Fine, thank you.

Sorry for the delay.

[chuckles]

Not to worry.

You're here now.

Not to worry?

I've been waiting for hours!

Now, open those cars.

[goats bleating]

Goats?

Where are my silks?

Oh, Thomas,

these are the wrong cars.

I'm going to have

to call Charubala.

No, please don't!

I'll be back with the right

cars before you know it.

No more mistakes.

I promise.

[wind whooshes]

[weather vane squeaks]

-Whose are these?

-[chickens clucking]

Open them up.

[wind whooshing]

[gasps]

No!

The silks!

[gasps]

[grunts]

Oof!

Oh, Thomas!

Oh, dear, Thomas.

You've made some

big mistakes today.

You need to tell Charubala.

You can't fix all this

by yourself.

[sighs]

I think you might be right.

But the wrong cars,

and then goats,

and silk in my face,

and a crash, and mangos,

and, and... I'm sorry.

I've made so many mistakes.

Everyone makes

mistakes, Thomas,

but you should've

told me sooner.

I could've helped you

sort it out

before the problem got bigger.

I just thought

I could fix it by myself

and you wouldn't even

need to know.

Well, everyone can help

to get things back on track

again now.

[laughs softly]

Thanks, Charubala, ma'am.

Everyone helpedclean up the mess, which made it a lot easier.

[train chugging]

All sorted.

Thanks for your help,

everyone.

-That was hard work.

-[elephant trumpets]

Anyone for a swim?

[all laughing]

[whistle toots]

Have you ever been too afraid

to tell someone

you've made a mistake?

When Marion was diggingand broke a water pipe, she was very embarrassed.Instead of gettingthe pipe fixed, she triedto cover it up again, but the water kept leakingand the problem got worse.I wasn't paying attentionto where I was going.I left the silk carsat the wrong station!I tried to sort things outon my own,but becauseI was in such a rush,I made even more mistakes.

If you make a mistake,

it's best to tell someone

straight away.

That way, you don't find

yourself in even more trouble.

Come on, Thomas!

It's time to go!

See you next time!
