It can be hard being new.

It's easy to get nervous when

you don't know who everyone is

or the way

they like to do things.

When Rebeccafirst came to Sodor,she thought she needed to belike everyone elseall at once.But she soon learnedthat she could be herselfand that everyone liked herjust the way she was.At first, Darcy wasvery nervous and worriedthat the other vehicleswouldn't like her.She felt likeshe didn't fit in.But it wasn't longbefore everyone got to knowhow amazing Darcy wasand welcomed herinto the team.

It can take a bit of time

to settle into a new place,

but after a while, a first day

will seem like a long time ago.
