Have you ever discovered

something so amazing

you don't want it to end?

One day on Sodor, that's

exactly what happened to Cleo.

[whistle toots]

All aboard for a big adventure!

Cleo's First Snow.♪ ♪

[Thomas]

It was a winter's morning,and heavy snowhad fallen overnight.

- [gasps]

Why is everything white?

[ice crackling]

[ice crashes]

[gasps]

Ah!

[snow thuds]

[gasps and shudders]

- Cleo.

- Careful, Ruth.

Something's happened.

Sodor has been taken over

by fluffy white stuff.

- [laughs]

It's only snow, Cleo.

- Snow?

What's snow?

- Oh, of course,

you've never seen snow before.

[gasps]

Oh, you're in for a treat.

We can see

all the snowy sights

when we head into town

to pick up my delivery.

- [gasps]

We're going out in the snow?

- There's nothing

to worry about.

Come on, we should enjoy it

while it lasts.

- [Cleo] What do you mean,

while it lasts?

[quirky music]

[both giggling]

♪ ♪

- Well, I suppose

it does look pretty.

♪ ♪

[gasps]

[tires squeal]

What was that?

- [laughs]

It's just a snowball.

[children giggle]

- [Cleo] Whoa!

[both giggle]

- [Ruth] Come on, I have

plenty more to show you.

[horn honks]

♪ ♪

[both giggle]

♪ ♪

Won't be long.

♪ ♪

- [gasps]

[dramatic music]

[whimpering]

R...Ruth?

There's

a s-s-s-snow monster!

[whistle toots]

[gasps]

Thomas?

- [laughs]

Hi, Cleo.

- What happened

to you?

- Nothing.

Oh!

[laughs]

It's just

my snowplow.

We have to wear them

in the snow

to help clear the tracks.

You're so lucky you

don't have to wear a snowplow.

- Why?

- Because you're free

to whiz around

and have fun

in the snow.

Anyway, enjoy it

while it lasts!

[whistle toots]

- What do you mean,

while it lasts?

[children laughing]

- Whoo-hoo!

- [gasps]

Now that looks like fun.

- Whoo-hoo!

- Hmm, it does, doesn't it?

- Whoa!

Ruth, where are we going?

- To make the most

of the snow.

- [squeals]

[laughs]

Whoa! Whoa!

- [Thomas]

It wasn't longbefore Cleo loved the snow.

- Whoa!

[laughs]

- But later that day,Cleo saw something awful.

- [gasps]

[water dripping]

[wistful music]

[gasps]

What's happening

to the snow?

It's going away.

- Oh, Cleo, I'm afraid

the thing with snow is,

it doesn't last forever

because it melts in the sun.

- Melts?

Oh, no.

Then there's only

one thing to do:

I'll have to save

the snow myself.

[children laughing]

Hey, kids,

I need your help.

I'm on an important mission

to save the snow

one snowman at a time!

[all cheer]

- Yay!

- Hooray!

- Thank you!

[horn honks]

- Hooray!

- Whoo-hoo!

[whistle toots]

- Oh, hi, Cleo.

Uh, I like

your new driver.

- This is Mr. Snowman.

I need to take him

somewhere really cold,

but I'm not sure where.

- Uh, you could

try the dairy farm.

They have

a large fridge there.

- Good idea.

Thanks, Thomas!

[engine rumbles]

[can thuds]

- [grunts]

[horn honks]

- Well, hello there.

What do we have here?

- Help! Please, may I

borrow your fridge

for Mr. Snowman

to live in?

- Oh, I'm sorry, but my fridge

is full of cream.

[chuckles] I don't want

to turn it into ice cream.

[laughs]

- Ice cream?

That's it!

[horn honks]

Oh, closed.

[horn honks]

- No one wants ice creams

in this weather, Cleo.

And, uh, shouldn't you

be safe at home with Ruth?

[bell dings]

- That's it!

Ruth will know

exactly what to do.

[horn honks]

Ruth! Ruth!

You've got to--

- Cleo?

There you are.

I was worried.

Have you been out by yourself?

- Yes, I'm sorry,

but I need your help

to rescue Mister--

Oh, no, Mr. Snowman.

He's gone.

Oh, I just wanted to save

the snow from melting.

- Oh, my sweet Cleo.

I know it's hard, but at least

you saw how amazing snow is

and enjoyed it

while it lasted.

- I suppose so.

But--but

I'm going to miss it.

- I know, but trust me,

there will be other snowy days.

- [sniffling]

But when?

- I'm not sure,

but for now,

get some rest.

It's late.

- [sniffling]

Okay.

[crying]

- Hmm.

- [Thomas]

A few days later, Cleo woketo a pleasant surprise.[magical music]

- [yawns]

[gasps]

It's snowing!

Yippee!

[laughing]

It's so magical!

Whoo-hoo!

- Now you can

enjoy the snow

for as long

as you want, Cleo.

- Forever!

I love it!

[both laugh]

[pleasant music]♪ ♪

- Experiencing something

for the first time

can make you feel nervous.

[steam hissing]

I remember when Darcyfirst arrived on Sodor.She was very nervousbecause it was all so new,but soon she becamepart of the teamand felt right at home.[harp music]When Cleo saw snowfor the first time,she was nervous too.She even thoughtI was a snow monster.[laughs]But it wasn't long beforeshe loved snow so much,she wanted itto be around forever.

[steam hissing]

Sometimes things we think

are strange at first

are great fun in the end,

and it's important to try

and enjoy them while they last.

- [Annie] Come on, Thomas!

It's time to go.
