[Spidey] Spin, Ghost-Spider, come in!

The alarm is coming from
the City Aquarium.

-[alarm blaring]
-That could be bad news, Spidey.

I visited the City Aquarium
to see their new exhibit,

a family of rare Purple-Striped Octopuses.

Squishy, the baby, is my favorite.

[Spin] Why bother an octopus?

They're slimy and kind of scary-looking,
with lots of tentacles!

They may look strange to you,
but they're really cool and smart.

Maybe the alarm went off
because they’re in danger.

We’d better go see.

[water bubbling]

-[Doc Ock humming]
-[mechanical limbs whirring]

-[water splashes]
-Come to me, precious.

Come to Doc Ock. [laughs]

[limb whirring]

[laughs]

-[Spidey] Doc Ock!
-Huh?

Should’ve known it was you causing
trouble at the exhibit.

Well, that’s very clever of you spiders,
but you're too late. [laughs]

Get your tentacles off that octopus!

No way, Spidey Team!

[baby voice] I have big plans
for this little octopus.

Not this time!

-Hi-yah!
-[Doc Ock grunts]

[Spidey] Stop, Doc Ock!

Put your arms-- your tentacles in the air!

-[laughs] You'll never catch me!
-[Spidey] Watch out, Spidey Team!

I'd say you better save all these fish

and put them back in their tanks
where they belong. [grunts]

Spidey Team, we gotta save those fish!

[Ghost-Spider] Oh, no! Lobsters!

[Doc Ock chuckles]

[laughs]

[grunts] I caught a big one!

[Spidey grunts]

[Spin] A really big one!

Back in the water.

[laughing]

[both grunt]

[Spidey] There you go. Whew.

There, we saved all the fish.

Now let's catch Doc Ock.

So where is she?

[gasps] She got away
while we were rescuing the fish,

and she took the baby octopus!

Her name is Squishy. Remember?

[sad music playing]

[Spidey]
Aw, Squishy's parents look so sad.

Don't worry. We'll save your baby girl.

Yeah, definitely!

Wait! Do I have to touch any tentacles?

We need to get to Web-Quarters
and find where she took Squishy.

[Spider Team] Let's web out!

[mechanical limbs whirring]

Don't be scared, little Squishy.

Once you get some of my Gigantopus Serum,
you'll grow and grow,

and when you're a giant octopus
you'll look so scary,

no one will get in my way anymore,
especially those pesky spiders!

Then I can take over the city!

[laughs]

We need to keep looking.

The security cameras show
Doc Ock left with Squishy

and is headed towards the ocean.

But why?

-[monitor beeps]
-[WEB-Ster] Webs up! Spidey alert!

Looks like cameras are showing
something really big

under the water over here.

Huh. I'm not sure, Miles.

Maybe if we zoom in?

I can't see what that shape
under the water is,

but that's Doc Ock's Mobile Lab
near the pier.

[laughs]

We have to rescue Squishy
and get her back to her parents.

Come on. It's Spidey-Time!

[whirring]

Go, webs, go!

-[beep]
-[engines power up]

Hop on my Ghost-copter.
We have a baby octopus to save.

Okay, Spidey and Spin,
approaching the pier and Doc Ock.

We're coming for you, Squishy!

[Spidey] Ready? Go!

Give it up, Doc Ock.

You can't handle the Spidey Team.

But can you handle the might

of Gigantopus Squishy?

-[Spidey] Whoa!
-[Spin] Wah!

[Ghost-Spider]
Squishy? How did you get so big?

What other scientist is brilliant enough
to invent a Gigantopus Serum?

Now Squishy is big enough to capture
the whole Spidey Team at once!

Way too big.

When you silly spiders are out of the way,
I'll be able to rule the whole city!

[laughs]

Now go, Squishy!

Keep those spiders away from me
so I can take over the city,

or no fishy treats for you.

[gasps]

[laughs]

[Ghost-Spider] We have to stop her.

She can accidentally crush
everything in her path.

Yeah, okay.

She might be a giant octopus
with giant slimy tentacles,

but we can handle this.

But first, let me web-up Doc Ock.

[grunts, groans]

[Spidey] Go, webs, go!

[laughs]

Too bad you missed one of my tentacles.

And my giant octopus distraction
is going perfectly to plan!

[cooing]

[chirps]

[playful music playing]

Hey, I got her!

Whoa!

[grunts]

Or maybe I don't.

Okay, let me try.

Whoa!

Hang on, Spidey! I'm coming for you!

Whoa!

[grunting] Ow!

[grunts] This isn't working.

There's only three of us
against eight tentacles.

And she's really strong.

Ouch, Squishy!

Let go. You're holding us too tight.
[grunts]

[both scream, grunt]

[gasps] Are you two okay?

Yeah. We're fine.

Squishy isn't trying to hurt us.

She's just too big,

and Doc Ock's making her do bad things
to get treats.

[Doc Ock]
Squishy defeated you spiders easily.

Now no one can keep me
from taking over the city,

and she's not even done growing yet.

She's already too big to stop!

We need a plan.

-Best way to tackle a problem like this…
-[Spin] Giant octopus problem.

…is to break down a plan into parts.

So we each need to do something
to stop Doc Ock.

Well, I know a lot about octopuses.

They're curious and playful,
so maybe I can keep Squishy busy

so she doesn't go into the city
and squash everything.

Good thinking, Ghost-Spider.
Then I can distract Doc Ock.

Great, Spin!

That'll give me time to make a serum

to shrink Squishy to normal size
so we can bring her home to her parents.

Sounds like a plan to me.
Let's save Squishy.

-Magnificent.
-[pincers clacks]

[laughs]

My giant octopus is about to help me
take over the city.

-[thud]
-[shouts]

But that'll never happen. [grunts]

I'll get you for that, spider!

Not if you can't catch me! [chuckles]

[grunts]

Now I'll reverse Ock's formula
to make a serum to shrink Squishy.

-[woman screams]
-[Squishy coos]

Hey there, Squishy!

Come on, Squishy.

Come play with me.

[Spin grunting]

Hold still, little spider!

[Spin grunting]

I can't keep this up much longer.

Whoa! Think I better turn invisible
with my cloaking power.

Here I am. Come and get me! [laughs]

[laughs]

Foolish spider.

Time to cloak.

What? Where did he go?

I hope Spidey figures out
how to make a shrinking serum soon.

Whoa! [grunts]

[grunts] Squishy! Ow!

Playtime is over.

Hang on, Ghost-Spider!

Anyone order special delivery
of my Super Spidey Shrinking Serum?

You got here just in time.

Here you go, Squishy.

[Ghost-Spider] It's working!

I'm not finished with my big plan.

Amazing work, Spidey Team!

That was a huge problem, but we each
did our part and stopped Doc Ock.

Now let's get Squishy back to her parents
at the City Aquarium.

[Spin] Okay, Squishy, you're home now.

Mom and dad will be really glad
you're back.

Spin, if I didn't know better,

I'd say you're beginning
to like octopuses.

Wah!

Maybe you're not scary.
Maybe you're even a little bit cute.

[Spidey Team] Aw!

Hey, they're waving goodbye
with their tentacles.

-Bye-bye!

[Green Goblin]

and steal all their stuff.

And when the giggle gas wears off,
no one will even remember I was here!

take things that don't belong to you.

Giggle gas is spreading all over the park.

I've gotta get rid of it somehow,
but there's so much.

[tires screech]

I was riding past the park
when I saw the green clouds.

Don't tell me, this must be
one of Green Goblin's mean tricks.

He's got pumpkin pranks full of gas.
I don't know how to stop it.

But we still have to get rid
of Green Goblin's pumpkin pranks.

And it looks like the park is safe
from giggle gas now.

-[laughs]

Ow! [grunts]

or my giggle gas! [scoffs]

Oh! Thanks, Spidey!

[sighs] The giggle gas
doesn't seem to last that long.

Everyone will be okay,

but there's a whole city that needs
protecting from Goblin's tricks.

You ready, Spidey?

[Green Goblin laughs]

Every time we try and catch Gobby,
he gets away!

It's not over yet.

We can't let that giggle gas
get in our way.

First, I'll try using some of my web-tech.

My Spidey-mask will protect me
from breathing in any giggle gas.

That should stop any more from escaping.

-[brakes screech]

I've still got loads of pumpkin surprises.

-[Spidey grunts]

I've got a glider full of giggle gas,

which I'm gonna spread
over the entire city! [laughs]

[both grunting]

Everyone will be giggling
while I keep on stealing!

He's escaping into the city.
We really need to stop him.

I'm gonna fly my glider so high,
your webs will never reach me!

We just need to keep trying.

so I can stretch all the way back
and slingshot you onto Gobby's glider.

-[whirs, beeping]

[laughing]

Well, at least he's giggling about it.
Whew! What a day.

It took a lot of tries, but we did it!
