and thank you for joining us

for this year's annual
tree-lighting ceremony!

-[applause]
-I am deeply honored

that the city has given the privilege of
lighting our community's tree to

me and my daughter, Gwen.

[cheering]

Well, I'd say this ceremony
has become our favorite family tradition.

It sure has.

-Doc Ock!
-What do you want?

Why, I've come to grab some presents…

everyone's presents!

[laughs menacingly]

I'll take this.

-Ooh, and that!
-[screams]

[Doc Ock laughs menacingly]

[gasps] Ooh, this one's heavy!

Come on, follow me!

We can hide over here
while we come up with a plan.

-[crowd screams]
-Stay in here. You'll be safe.

[chirps]

-We've gotta stop her.
-And we've gotta stop that tree.

Whoa! Those tentacles can break
right through our webs!

[grunts]

[laughs menacingly] Now, where was I?

Oh, yes, filling up my goody bag.

[grunts] How does a tree
just turn into a robot, anyway?

Doc Ock must've attached them to the tree
when the mall was closed.

But all those robotic arms would still
need something to control them.

Something like that?

[Spidey] That definitely does not
look like a regular ornament.

[Spin] Actually, it looks like something
Doc Ock would make.

[grunting]

So, if we grab it off the tree,
the tree will shut down?

I bet it will! Let's go, webs, go!

[both grunting]

[grunting continues]

That'll hold it for a few seconds.

Quick, Ghosty, do your thing!

I'm on it!

-Look out!
-[device beeping]

[Ghosty grunting]

[powering down]

Ha! It worked!

Now to take down Doc Ock.

[thuds]

Good thing I'm all done with
my holiday shopping.

Whoop! Looks like I missed a goody bag!

Time to go open my presents!

[laughs menacingly]

Uh, where'd she go?

Oh, no! She got away!

With all those presents?

-She totally ruined the holidays.
-[chiming]

TRACE-E?

[chirping]

Where are you, TRACE-E?

[chirping]

-She's in Doc Ock's sleigh!

Keep outta sight, TRACE-E.
We'll be right there!

TRACE-E was hiding in a gift bag,
and Doc Ock grabbed it!

We've gotta get her outta there!

First, we've gotta find Doc Ock.

And I know just how to do it.

I built TRACE-E with a chip inside
that'll tell me exactly where she is.

Found her!

Aw, yes!

We can save TRACE-E
and stop Doc Ock all at the same time.

Let's Spidey swing!

[laughs menacingly]

I can't wait to open all my presents!

I hope I got some pj's!

[trills]

Let's sit down on that roof!

[screeching]

-This one looks promising.
-[chirping]

-A stowaway?

-[engine powers up]

[grunting]

[laughs menacingly]

I can't get out!

Looks like you won't be
spoiling the holidays after all.

You were the perfect little helper.

Well, so much for my holidays!

I just wanted some presents!

[trills]

my evil machines!

I guess it's the thought that counts.

Even Cal knows the holidays are for

All holiday gifts have been returned.

Our beautiful tree is back to normal.

so I've gotta get going.

What a wonderful day for some snowman fun.

Fun for me, anyway. Oh!

-[laughs menacingly]
-[gasps]

Well, hi there!

What a nice snowman you've made.

Green Goblin? You leave us alone!

Only problem is he's just standing there,

when he could be chasing you away!
[laughs menacingly]

[beep]

Go get 'em, snowman!

Ruin their wintertime fun!

Our snowman, it's moving!

[laughs menacingly] That's great!

[distant cackling]

Uh-oh. Green Goblin!

Peter! Gwen!

-[electricity crackles]
-[groans] Oh, yeah, it's broken.

Oh, look! Another snowman.

Well, it's not much fun
just watching him stand there.

[chuckles]

for Green Goblin to have all the fun!

Watch out, people, here he comes!

[cackles]

[sighs] Looks like I've gotta
handle Gobby myself.

[screams]

My Snowman-Go controller
works like holiday magic!

[giggles]

No more controlling snowmen for you!

[grunts]

Oh, of course, some Spidey do-gooder
would try to spoil my fun.

[grunting]

-I control everywhere they go.
-[grunting]

[groans]

[laughs menacingly]

I could really use some help from
the rest of Team Spidey.

If only my comm link weren't broken,
I could call them.

Broken… That's it!

If Gobby's controller were broken,
he couldn't control those snowmen anymore.

I just need something to break it with.

[grunts]

-Hey, Gobby! Look!
-Huh?

[grunts]

Right on target!

My Snowman-Go controller. You ruined it!

-I can't make them go where I want to!
-[snowmen power down]

You totally spoiled my fun! [grumbles]

Now I'm gonna stop you from
spoiling anyone else's fun

for a long, long time.

[powers up]

[grunts]

[cackling]

Whoa! [grunting]

Aw, man, I lost him.

[Peter on comm] Miles? Where are you?

Is everything okay?

He's not answering. That isn't like him.

Peter and Gwen!
I better tell 'em what happened.

We called on the comm link,
but you never answered.

I couldn't! Mine is busted!

I fell and broke it,
but then Green Goblin showed up.

He had this controller,
and he zapped people's snowmen,

and they started moving!

He could make them go wherever he wanted!

-What?
-It's okay.

Gobby won't be zapping
any more snowmen now.

I smashed his controller, and he ran away.

I think the snowmen all stopped.

So, where's the controller now?

Um, actually, Gobby threw it away.

I was too busy trying to
chase him down to grab it.

We shouldn't leave tech like that
lying around.

Uh, well, I know exactly where it is.

Come on!

[distant rumbling]

Uh, do you hear that?

-I hear something.
-[rumbling intensifies]

Something big!

[branches cracking]

Are you seeing what I'm seeing?

Yeah, but I don't believe it.

Uh, okay, somebody super-sized that thing.

The snowmen were not that big before.

What's that stuck in the snowman's head?

That's Gobby's broken controller!

The wiring in that controller

must've gotten
all scrambled up when it broke.

But it's still controlling the snowmen?

[Peter] Maybe the controller
works like a magnet.

[Gwen] So it's pulling all
the little snowmen into the big one.

[Miles] And that's making it even bigger!

Oh, you don't see that every day.

It's moving!

We'd better stop it
before someone gets hurt.

Time to Spidey swing, again.

It's just three big balls of snow.

I hit it with a snowball,
and it didn't even notice!

I don't think it has a mind of its own.

Gobby's controller is making it move.

It still seems pretty dangerous.

Oh, it's dangerous, all right.
We've gotta stop it now!

We'll web it up so it can't move,
then pull that controller off of it.

[grunting]

I think it's working!

It's slowing down.

-[groans]
-That thing's not easy to stop.

Well, at least Gobby scared most people
out of the park.

Good!

Then just about everyone
should be safe from that snowman.

[groans] Why did I
throw away my controller?

I love my controller. I can fix it.

It'll work better than ever!

If I could only find it!

[rumbling]

Uh-oh.

I think I found it.

-[crunching]
-[screaming]

[screaming continues]

-Do you hear that?
-Sounds like--

[grunting, screaming]

[screaming]

-[Gobby screaming]
-Well, I know he's a super-villain,

but we've still gotta help him.

Let's go, webs, go!

[screaming continues]

It's still chasing me!

Whoa! [screams] Oh!

[chuckles] Remember me?

[giggles]

I'll see if I can keep it in one place.

Good,
and I'll get that controller off him.

[grunts] It's frozen in place.

[grunting]

I can't get it out.

[grunting]

Can you smash it?

[cackles] Not likely!
I built that thing to last.

[chuckles] I broke it with a pinecone.

It was a really hard pinecone!

You got this, Spidey! Pull!

[straining]

-[webs snap]
-[Ghosty] No!

The snowman's breaking through my webs!

It's reacting to the controller.

If I could take it apart,
I could maybe shut it off.

It's headed for the city!

Is there some way Spidey can open up
that controller?

[laughs menacingly] I'll never tell.

There's a slot!

Ghosty! Spin! I need something to
pry open the control panel!

Ghost-Spider. That carrot!

It must have fallen off a snowman.

It's frozen solid.

Will this work?

[grunting]

Yeah! It worked!

[groans] Oh, pumpkin seeds.

[cars honking]

Which wire do I pull?

The green wire, or the, uh--

Green Goblin made it.

They're all green wires.

-[cars honking]

I need to think of something fast!

[gasps, screaming]

Is it this one? Maybe this one.

[groans]

[engine cranks]

There's no time to guess.

-I need to pull 'em all.
-[sparks]

[powers down]

[engine cranks]

[rumbles]

[sighs]

Yeah! You stopped the giant snowman
from destroying the city!

You totally did it, Spidey!

We did it. Thanks for your help, team.

We'll have to let everyone know
the park is safe again.

Yeah. They should be out here having fun.

And then maybe we can finally
build our own snowman.

You know, I think I'm done with
snowmen for the day.

How about we go get
some hot cocoa instead?

[both] Yes!

With teeny-tiny marshmallows?

[gasps] Great suggestion!

[Gobby] I love those things!

[whimpers]

Well, someday when you stop
getting in trouble for misbehaving,

you can have cocoa with
teeny-tiny marshmallows too.

-[sighs]
