This fire must've been the work of Hunter J!

I'm worried about Riolu and Ash. Let's go!

HENCHMAN A: Retrieval successful! Let's move out!

HENCHMEN: Yes sir!

JESSIE: All right, all right, who did the rain dance?

JAMES: Not me. I was a bit preoccupied treading water!

MEOWTH: Only one thing it could've been...

the great Team Rocket water boy in the sky!

WOBBUFFET: [AFFIRMATIVE]

ASH: Hey, thanks to you using Dig, we're all safe and sound!

ASH: Good thing, since it's putting out the fire!

BROCK: Does that mean they got Riolu?

PIPLUP: [WORRIED]

CLIENT: Most impressive,

the way you carried out your assignment as promised!

CLIENT: Obviously it was a wise decision to hire you!

J: Well then, there is the matter of payment.

CLIENT: First I'd like to see Riolu move with my own two eyes,

-please. -J: Of course!

RIOLU: [CONFUSED] / [GROWLING]

CLIENT: It's the real thing, all right.

Very well then, I'll arrange to get you your payment right away.

J: I'll meet you at the rendezvous point.

ASH: Riolu! PIKACHU: [CALLING]

RIOLU: [STRUGGLING]

ASH: Let Riolu go!

J: Drapion, grab him, now!

DRAPION: [APPEARING] ASH, PIKACHU: [SHOCKED]

PIKACHU: [WORRIED]

J: I've been aware of your little intrusion the whole time

ASH: Why didn't you do something before?

J: So I could personally punish a young fool like you!

DRAPION: [EFFORT]

PIKACHU: [ANGRY]

DRAPION: [SHOCKED] DRAPION: [FRUSTRATED]

ASH, PIKACHU: [EFFORT]

ASH, PIKACHU: [SCARED]

ASH: Pikachu!

ASH: This could be it!

ASH, PIKACHU: [SCARED]

STARAPTOR: [TRIUMPHANT]

KELLYN: Got you, Ash! So, are you two all right?

ASH: Yeah, thanks to you and Staraptor!

PIKACHU: [GRATEFUL]

KELLYN: They got away.

PIKACHU: [ANGRY]

ASH: Riolu's with J!

And it's all because I messed up big-time!

KELLYN: Ash, you shouldn't blame yourself like that. Don't worry!

We'll save Riolu, for sure!

STARAPTOR: [EFFORT]

DAWN: Pikachu! Ash!

PIPLUP: [HAPPY]

-DAWN: I'm so glad you're okay! - ASH: Thanks!

BROCK: I guess J must've escaped with Riolu.

PIKACHU: [SAD]

KELLYN: You were a big help, Staraptor, thanks!

STARAPTOR: [PLEASED]

KELLYN: Kellyn here!

SOLANA: I'm so sorry, Kellyn,

but unfortunately J's client managed to escape!

KELLYN: What did you say?

SOLANA: You see,

Jenny and I did our best and got as close as we could, but...

KELLYN: I see. The truth is, J stole Riolu from us as well

SOLANA: That's awful!

KELLYN: She's on her way to rendezvous with her client

and then transfer Riolu.

Then, they'll probably cover their tracks,

which of course means one thing.

DAWN: That we'll have lost Riolu!

BROCK: Which means Riolu will never be able to get back

to its kingdom!

PIKACHU: [SAD] PIPLUP: [SAD]

ASH: Yeah? There's no way I'm going to let that happen!

ASH: Riolu. Come on, let me know!

Tell me where you are, Riolu!

ASH: Riolu, I'm sorry!

DAWN: Oh, Ash...

PIKACHU: [CONCERNED]

ASH: Riolu, if you can hear me somehow tell me!

Come on, tell me!

BROCK: What is it? Hey, Ash!

ASH: Riolu! That's where you are!

DAWN: What, Ash?

KELLYN: You sense its aura, don't you?

ASH: You're right! This way! Riolu's this way!

KELLYN: We're on our way to free Riolu right now!

SOLANA: Understood. Good luck, Kellyn.

JESSIE: You realize if we follow in the Twerps' wake,

we'll come across Hunter J and Riolu in one fell swoop.

MEOWTH: Getting our paws on that power Pokémon

will kick us way up a notch!

JAMES: But what do we do now

that our poor pit traps are waterlogged?

JESSIE: We don't stand around and whine! Climb every mountain!

WOBBUFFET: [AFFIRMATIVE]

ASH: Hang on, Riolu! We're coming!

PIKACHU: [DETERMINED]

HENCHMAN A: The client will be here any minute now.

DODRIO GROUP: [CALLING]

DAWN: I still can't believe Riolu's aura could reach Ash

even though Hunter J's holding it prisoner!

PIPLUP: [AGREEMENT]

BROCK: That just goes to show

how strong the connection between Ash and Riolu is!

KELLYN: Riolu responded to Ash's thoughts!

KELLYN: Those thoughts, along with Ash's emotions,

allowed Riolu to use its powerful aura

to transmit its whereabouts!

ASH: Riolu, don't worry!

ASH: The aura's stronger than before,

so we're getting really close!

PIKACHU: [DETERMINED]

CLIENT: I'm terribly sorry to keep you waiting, Hunter J.

HENCHMAN A: Right!

ASH: We found you, J!

KELLYN: We won't let you get away with this!

CLIENT: A Pokémon Ranger?

J: Bah! Annoying brat!

KELLYN: Riolu needs to return to its kingdom,

so give it back immediately, or else!

CLIENT: No! I'll give you nothing!

ASH: Staravia, use Quick att*ck, go!

STARAVIA: [QUICK att*ck MOVE]

HENCHMAN A: What now?

J: We have our money. Let's go!

HENCHMAN A: Sir!

ASH: It's J!

SOLDIER A: Oh, no!

SOLDIER B: Boss, are you okay?

CLIENT: Riolu belongs to me and nobody else!

ASH: Riolu!

PIKACHU: [CALLING]

SOLDIER A: Golem, use Hyper Beam!

GOLEM: [HYPER BEAM MOVE]

ASH, PIKACHU, DODRIO: [SCARED]

DAWN: Ash, Pikachu, hang on!

DODRIO: [CONCERNED]

KELLYN: Ash, are you all right?

ASH: Yeah! PIKACHU: [REASSURING]

CLIENT: I've finally gotten my hands on a Riolu

who uses Aura Sphere!

ASH, KELLYN, DAWN, BROCK, PIKACHU, DODRIO: [EFFORT]

CLIENT: I've got Riolu! Let's go!

ASH: You're not getting away!

All right, Staravia, slash their tires with Quick att*ck!

STARAVIA: [QUICK att*ck MOVE]

CLIENT: What? No!

ASH: Give Riolu back!

CLIENT: Forget about it! Get him!

SOLDIER B: Rhyhorn, let's go!

GOLEM: [APPEARING] FEAROW: [APPEARING]

CLIENT: I'll leave you to take care of them!

KELLYN: It's Solana!

JENNY: You go after Fearow!

BROCK: Come on, Ash, let's go!

blocking every passageway!

And Riolu can only be behind one of them.

ASH: Okay, Riolu, tell me! Where are you?

ASH: This one! Riolu's in there!

KELLYN: Now, Donphan, Rollout!

DONPHAN: [ROLLOUT MOVE]

ASH: All right, stop!

PIKACHU: [ANGRY]

KELLYN: It's all over!

CLIENT: But how could you have figured out which way we went?

ASH: Simple! Riolu told me!

CLIENT: Told you?

KELLYN: Riolu's coming with us now!

CLIENT: Not a chance! Quick, Aggron, Double-Edge!

AGGRON: [DOUBLE-EDGE MOVE]

KELLYN: Donphan, Horn att*ck!

DONPHAN: [HORN att*ck MOVE]

ASH: Riolu! PIKACHU: [WORRIED]

NARRATOR: Not only have Ash and his friends saved
