of Pokémon Summer Academy behind them, our Heroes,

along with all kinds of new friends, people, and Pokémon

alike are determinedly heading into Day Three!

NARRATOR: And that includes a couple

of new rivals worth cheering!

On a road, far from home,

you don't have to feel alone.

Brave and strong,

together we will be.

It's our destiny!

We can change the world if we try!

Battle Dimension Pokémon!

[ASH READS ON-SCREEN TEXT]

ROWAN: Now, what do you say to something a little different?

ROWAN: Good! Because, today I'd like you to

observe the Water-type Pokémon in this lake.

YUZO: Now, as you can see,

these waters are teeming with many kinds of Pokémon,

and the choice of which kind to focus on

is completely up to you!

YUZO: You may express your findings in a report, sketch,

or any way you choose.

YUZO: But your grade will be based on a final presentation!

YUZO: You may work on your own, or in groups if you prefer.

ROWAN: But because the Water-type Pokémon in this

lake area are still being researched

they are not allowed to be caught!

YUZO: Also, please remember leaving the area is forbidden.

Priority One is safety first!

ASH: Right! Pikachu!

ASH: Let's go check out some Water-type Pokémon

and get an A plus!

PIKACHU: [ENTHUSIASTIC]

ANGIE: Well, you're not getting ahead of me!

ANGIE: All right Shinx, what do you say we move?

DAWN: Us too! What do you say we b*at them all, Piplup?

SHINX: [AGREEABLE] PIPLUP: [SMUG]

ROWAN: Right! Off you go!

ASH: WOW! I'll bet those are a blast!

DAWN: They'd be a great way to observe Pokémon.

ANGIE: Sure would!

ASH: What's that?

PIKACHU: [ENTRANCED]

PIKACHU: [TRANSFIXED]

ASH: Hey! You okay, Pikachu?

PIKACHU: [ALERT]

ASH: You were acting weird!

PIKACHU: [UNSURE]

ASH: That's strange.

ASH: I wonder what that light was!

ANGIE: Hey Ash! Want to take a boat with me?

ASH: Sure, let's go!

BROCK: So Dawn, let's grab the other one.

DAWN: Right!

JESSIE: It's important to remember ultra-violet rays

can be skin's worst enemy!

JESSIE: So please! Smooth and steady as she goes, men.

BOYS A&B: Aye aye! Ms. Jessilinda!

JESSIE: And if you're extra smooth

I'll let you observe my Water-type Pokémon for me!

BOYS A&B: Thank you! It would be an honor Miss Jessilinda!

JAMES: Our Jessie certainly knows how to run a tight ship!

MEOWTH: With all those ocean liners named after queens,

I'm not surprised!

JAMES: True, though I fear our queen may have forgotten

we've really come here to swipe the school's Pokémon!

MEOWTH: When it comes down to Jessie and hero worship,

don't hold your breath!

SEEL: [INTRIGUED] POLIWAG: [FRIENDLY]

ASH: Wow, look there's a Seel and a Poliwag!

ANGIE: Hey! And there's a Chinchou over there!

PIKACHU: [PLEASED]

HUNTAIL, HORSEA: [HAPPY]

BROCK: A Huntail and a Horsea!

PIPLUP: [IMPRESSED]

DAWN: This lake has all kinds of Pokémon!

DEWGONG: [FROLICKING]

ASH, ANGIE, PIKACHU, SHINX: [BRACING]

ANGIE: What's that?

ASH: A Dewgong! SHINX: [CURIOUS]

ASH: And a really healthy Dewgong too!

ASH: I've got it!

I'm gonna observe that Dewgong for my project!

ANGIE: Sounds like a plan to me!

SEALEO: [GREETING]

ANGIE: And that?

ASH: A Sealeo! Cool!

ANGIE: Wow! A Sealeo, huh?

ANGIE: Now there's one strong and healthy Pokémon for sure!

ANGIE: Of course that's the perfect choice for me!

GOREBYSS: [SERENE]

DAWN: What's that?

BROCK: It's a Gorebyss!

DAWN: Wow!

CONWAY: Gorebyss. The South Sea Pokémon.

Its long, beautiful pink body is more vivid in the springtime.

DAWN: What do you want?

CONWAY: To offer my help!

CONWAY: My encyclopedic grasp of Pokémon is yours for the asking!

DAWN: I'm going to observe that Gorebyss!

It's the prettiest thing!

BROCK: Well as for me...

CHINCHOU: [HAPPY]

BROCK: Chinchou! It's a done deal!

JESSIE: Okay, men.

JESSIE: Have you decided which Pokémon

you're going to observe for me?

BOY A: Yes, Miss Jessalinda, we've decided on a Relicanth!

JESSIE: A Relicanth?

BOY B: Over there!

RELICANTH: [SERENE]

JESSIE: Ugh! That thing is so ugly it hurts my eyes!

I need a Pokémon that matches my beauty, not insults it!

BOY A: Oh! What kind of Pokémon did you have in mind?

JESSIE: Elegant! Like the suave Suicune!

Or perhaps the cute Manaphy!

BOY A: There's just one thing!

BOY B: I don't think there are any Suicune or Manaphy

in this lake Ms. Jessilinda.

JESSIE: Don't you bore me with details!! Capisce?

BOYS:: Sorry Ms. Jessalinda!

We'll never do it AGAIN!

DEWGONG: [HAPPY]

SEALEO: [CONTENT]

DEWGONG, SEALEO: [TIRED]

ASH: You're blocking my view of the Dewgong!

ANGIE: Well, my Sealeo went the other way!

ASH: We're going that way!

ANGIE: No, we're going that way!

PIKACHU: [EXASPERATED]

JAMES: It is rather enjoyable to have a decent place to sleep.

MEOWTH: Yeah, and great grub!

MEOWTH, JAMES: Nice weather we've been having too!

JAMES, MEOWTH: When you're feeling this great

those Pokémon can wait!

DEWGONG: [RELAXING]

ASH: Okay, I give. What's that?

ANGIE: I was gonna ask you the same thing!

ASH: C'mon, this looks like a great Dewgong!

ANGIE: Well mine is the spitting image of a Sealeo!

ASH: Yeah, what picture are you looking at?

Looks like a snowman to me.

ANGIE: Well it's better to look like a snowman than an alien.

-ASH: Says who? -ANGIE: Says me!

SHINX: [WORRIED]

ASH: If we give Professor Rowan these sketches

we're gonna flunk!

But, if we got closer to the Pokémon...

ANGIE: Yeah! I think you're on to something!

DAWN: Do you think they're talking about

jumping in and swimming with them?

BROCK: Yeah!

ASH: You've got to be in the water

to check out Water-type Pokémon!

ANGIE: For sure!

DAWN: The Gorebyss is even prettier underwater!

CHINCHOU: [GREETING]

BROCK: Chinchou give off electricity

through their feelers, see?

ANGIE: Cool!

JESSIE: Yummy!

JESSIE: So men, have you found

a Pokémon that matches me in all my glory?

BOY A: You bet!

BOY B: So say hello to a Pokémon that matches you to a tee!

BOY A, BOY B: Carvanha!

CARVANHA: [AGGRESSIVE]

BOY A: Check out that aggression!

How it looked just like it was gonna bite!

BOY B: Yeah, just like you! Perfect! So, what do you think?

JESSIE: Want to know what I think?

I think you're going to regret thinking!

ASH: I didn't know a Dewgong's horn was so hard!

DEWGONG: [RELAXED]

ANGIE: Amazing! I get it!

You're using your nose to get to know me aren't you?

SEALEO: [NUZZLING] CHINCHOU: [SAVORING]

BROCK: Ah ha! Chinchou really likes the flavor of this food!

DAWN: I knew Gorebyss was pretty

but up close like this Gorebyss is just gorgeous!

GOREBYSS: [FLATTERED]

ASH: Let's observe them a little more and then get to work!

BROCK: Right! Then finally comes the report.

ANGIE: Oh goody. When to comes to reports, I'm the worst!

ASH: No, I am.

DAWN: Nope, me!

CONWAY: Fear not Dawn!

For I'd be happy to transcribe your thoughts!

DAWN: What do you mean transcribe?

CONWAY: Elementary!

It simply means you do the talking

CONWAY: and then I'll write everything you say down

and turn it into the perfect report! See?

DAWN: Uh, thank you

but I think I have to write the report myself.

CONWAY: As you wish. But if you decide to change your mind,

I'll be around, okay? Okay.

SHINX: [ENTRANCED]

ASH: 'Kay! Let's finish this up!

ANGIE: Hold on.

ASH: Angie what's wrong?

ANGIE: All of a sudden Shinx is missing!

ASH: Missing?

PIKACHU: [CONFUSED]

DAWN: Piplup weren't you and Shinx playing together?

PIPLUP: [DISAGREEING]

BROCK: Let's go look!

ASH: Okay!

ANGIE: Shinx!!

ASH: Shinx where are you?

DAWN: Hey Shinx?!

PIKACHU: [SEARCHING]

PIPLUP: [NOTICING]

ASH: There's that light again!

DAWN: What do you mean again?

ASH: It flashed before over there!

PIPLUP: [DAZED]

DAWN: Piplup, what's wrong with you?

PIPLUP: [ALERT]

DAWN: But why?

ASH: The same result!

DAWN: Result?

ASH: Yeah. First that light flashed,

and then Pikachu's eyes got all spacey.

PIKACHU: [ENTRANCED]

CONWAY: Interesting.

CONWAY: If that is in fact what happened

then the legend may end up being true!

DAWN: What legend?

CONWAY: You see,

there's a famous legend concerning this lake.

CONWAY: It says that when a strange blue light flashes,

Pokémon start vanishing!

ASH: Man, I don't like that legend at all.

Strange blue light?

DAWN: And then Pokémon vanish?

CONWAY: Well, with Shinx disappearing,

it may just have something to do with that legend, get it?

ASH: We've got to do something!

ANGIE: You're right!

I say we head over to where that light is coming from!

DAWN: Piplup!

CONWAY: Hey folks, remember

we're not allowed to go far from the lake!

CONWAY: But if Dawn's going I guess there's not much I can do.

JAMES: That flash has lots of zing!

MEOWTH: You mean like some treasure-type bling?

JAMES: I was thinking the same thing!

ANGIE, DAWN, BROCK, PIKACHU, PIPLUP: [CURIOUS]

-ASH: Which way? -DAWN: Well, if I remember...

CONWAY: It was directly northwest of here.

DAWN: You don't have to come with us.

CONWAY: No no, I want to soak in everything I possibly can

about Pokémon!

JESSIE: Perfect!

JESSIE: The left, that's it. Oh, that's great.

JESSIE: What do you want?

CONWAY: I'm quite confident Shinx is around here!

DAWN: There's something creepy about this place.

CONWAY: Not to worry!

No matter what happens rest assured I'll protect you.

CONWAY: HELLLLP MEEE!

ASH: Man it's really coming down!

ANGIE: I sure hope that Shinx's okay.

PIKACHU: [CONCERNED]

PIPLUP: [SAD]

BROCK: I think we should take a break for a while.

CONWAY: Look at this!

CONWAY: That's right! The legend states:

"The strange blue light comes forth from the green cave."

ANGIE: Looks green to me!

DAWN: Then that means the light from the legend is back there?

ASH: Then we've got to go look!

PIKACHU: [SEARCHING]

DAWN: That is the light!

PIKACHU: [ENTRANCED] ASH: C'mon Pikachu!

Keep it together! PIKACHU: [ALERT]

BROCK: Then something's got to be back there!

ANGIE: Shinx should be there too!

ANGIE: SHIIINX! Where are you? Shinx!

ASH: Shinx come out!

DAWN: Let us know where you are!

PIKACHU: [SEARCHING]

PIPLUP: [CALLING]

ASH: Don't look! PIKACHU, PIPLUP: [HIDING]

PIPLUP: [ENTRANCED]

DAWN: No Piplup, snap out of it!

PIPLUP: [ALERT]

ANGIE: So that's it!

ASH: This is where the strange blue light's coming from!

LUMINEON: [APPEARING]

-ASH: What's that? -BROCK: A Lumineon!

DAWN: Lumineon?

CONWAY: Lumineon, the Neon Pokémon.

Lumineon lives in the ocean's depths.

CONWAY: It lures Pokémon by flashing light

in the pattern of its tail fins.

BROCK: So it was Lumineon's light we were seeing!

DAWN: Lumineon's beautiful!

CONWAY: It's strange.

CONWAY: A Lumineon shouldn't be in a place like this!

BROCK: Yeah, you're right.

SHINX: [ENTRANCED]

ALL: [CURIOUS]

SHINX: [ENTRANCED]

ANGIE: Shinx!

ANGIE: Pull yourself together, Shinx!

SHINX: [ALERT]

ANGIE: I can't tell you how worried I was!

SHINX: [DISORIENTED]

ASH: Now that we've found Shinx, we can breathe again!

DAWN: Yeah, and we know where the light's coming from too!

BROCK: You're right, but...

BROCK: We have no idea why Lumineon's here!

If we could get to the bottom of that,

think of the great report we could do!

-ASH: You're right! -ANGIE: What a great idea!

DAWN: Let's do it!

CONWAY: I'd like to be a part of this as well.

JESSIE: Hold on a minute!

JESSIE: It appears I've finally found a Pokémon that matches me!

CONWAY: I know you! You're Jessilinda,

the leader of the Green Team!

JESSIE: That's MISS Jessalinda, buster!

JESSIE: That Lumineon, perfect for someone beautiful, elegant,

and refined like myself!

JESSIE: And luring all kinds of Pokémon

doesn't exactly hurt either!

JESSIE: I'll catch it, and then observe it,

and write a report on it!

You can just go find something else!

ASH: Don't you remember,

it's against the rules to catch a Pokémon?

DAWN: Of course! Professor Rowan said so!

JESSIE: Talk is cheap young lady,

I catch whatever I want to catch! That's my rule!

DAWN: You know Brock that sounds like a Team Rocket line.

ANGIE: Hold on! We found that Lumineon first and you know it!

JESSIE: Foolish talk from a loser!

Yanmega let's go!

YANMEGA: [APPEARING]

ASH: You'll have to get through us!

DAWN, ANGIE: YEAH!

CONWAY: Please! If you don't mind I'd like to handle this!

CONWAY: Dawn, I'll wage this battle for you!

DAWN: Ohh kayy.

CONWAY: Come forth.

CONWAY: SLOWKING!

SLOWKING: [APPEARING]

JESSIE: Well!

We're not the sharpest tool in the shed are we?

CONWAY: Over-confidence can be bad for your health.

JESSIE: Yanmega! Use Sonic Boom!

YANMEGA: [SONIC BOOM MOVE]

CONWAY: Quick Slowking! Protect!

SLOWKING: [PROTECT MOVE]

DAWN: Slowking's Protect's as strong as ever!

CONWAY: How nice! I'm honored you remembered that!

CONWAY: Which I intend to pay right now!

Slowking, Water Pulse!

SLOWKING: [WATER PULSE MOVE]

YANMEGA: [STRUGGLING] YANMEGA: [REELING]

JESSIE: Don't take that from a dolt! Use Steel Wing, go!

YANMEGA: [STEEL WING MOVE]

CONWAY: Protect, once more!

SLOWKING: [PROTECT MOVE]

YANMEGA: [STRUGGLING]

SLOWKING: [DOMINATING]

JESSIE: I'm too cute for this!

CONWAY: Let's wrap this thing up!

Psychic let's go!

SLOWKING: [PSYCHIC MOVE]

YANMEGA: [TRANSFIXED]

ASH: Awesome!

BROCK: That Psychic did the trick!

JESSIE: No! Don't do something, stand there!

CONWAY: Not a chance!

SLOWKING: [ATTACKING]

YANMEGA: [REELING]

JESSIE, YANMEGA: [DAZED]

MEOWTH: I guess that blows the treasure concept.

JAMES: Enough blowing concepts for one day.

JAMES, MEOWTH, WOBBUFFET: [SAD]

CONWAY: Jessalinda, wait! Oh my.

CONWAY: She's gone!

DAWN: She's probably embarrassed right about now.

ASH: So! Let's observe the Lumineon!

ANGIE, BROCK, DAWN: Right!

ANGIE: What? The Lumineon's gone!

DAWN: It may've gotten scared from all the noise

and hid underwater!

ASH: Okay Buizel!

BUIZEL: [READY]

ASH: Will you help us look for the Lumineon?

BUIZEL: [AGREEING]

DAWN: But keep an eye out for its blue light!

ASH: We know that!

ASH: Let's go!

BROCK: What's this?

DAWN: Did you find anything?

ASH: Nope. Lumineon's gone.

BUIZEL: [AGREEING]

ASH: But we did see a tunnel at the bottom of the lake.

It may've used that.

ANGIE: A tunnel?

BROCK: That's it!

BROCK: I would think that tunnel is

probably connected to the ocean, you know?

CONWAY: That sounds like a logical assumption to me, Brock.

BROCK: So maybe the Lumineon uses the tunnel

to travel here from wherever it's living!

CONWAY: But why in the world would it want to come here?

BROCK: Look at this!

BROCK: That seaweed is a favorite of Water-type Pokémon,

and it looks like a lot of it has been eaten.

BROCK: The thing is,

I don't see a trace of any other Pokémon here.

So the Lumineon must be the one eating it all!

CONWAY: Wow, excellent detective work!

ANGIE: You figured that out just by looking.

ASH: Of course!

Anyone aiming to become top Pokémon Breeder's

got to be smart!

ANGIE: Awesome!

DAWN: Sounds like we're going to give a great report!

ANGIE, ASH: Yeah!

CONWAY: And don't forget my transcribing offer still stands.

DAWN: Maybe that'll be fine!

ASH: Well, looks like the rain stopped.

DAWN: Hey, look up there!

ALL: [CURIOUS]

ANGIE: Wow, what a gorgeous rainbow!

ASH: Great! Time to head back!

ANGIE, DAWN, BROCK: Right!

CONWAY: Not a sad face to be seen!

ANGIE: And so...

ANGIE: The Lumineon travels to the cave.

ANGIE: Using an underwater tunnel

as it makes its way from its home in the ocean.

DAWN: Then it flashes a light from its four fins!

ASH: And that powerful blue light

has the ability to lure other Pokémon right to it!

ANGIE: I know it because

it lured my Shinx away into the cave!

DAWN: It affected Pikachu and Piplup too!

PIKACHU, SHINX: [SHEEPISH] PIPLUP: [SMUG]

DAWN: Stop! You don't have to be a showoff.

BROCK: So, from this, we can conclude that

the Lumineon comes to the cave in order to eat the seaweed,

which is proven Water-type Pokémon love to eat!

DAWN: And, with that we conclude our report.

PIKACHU, SHINX, PIPLUP: [JOYFUL]

ROWAN: An exceptional report indeed.

I give you all a full ten points!

BROCK, ASH, ANGIE, DAWN: All right!

ROWAN: However,

you all left the lake area without asking permission.

ROWAN: Do you have any idea how worried we were about you?

YUZO: For breaking the rules we will subtract four points each.

Which leaves you all with six points!

BROCK, ASH, ANGIE, DAWN: Thank you!

JESSIE: Of course, this is a good lesson for you kids!

Now you know you can't just do what you want!

YUZO: Excuse me,

but since you left the lake too you lose four points as well!

JESSIE: So!

Proving once again that you two schlubs aren't good for beans!

BOY A, BOY B: Sorry Ms. Jessalinda, sorry.

YUZO: Conway, I'm afraid

you'll be losing four of your points too!

CONWAY: Hey that's less than I expected!

ROWAN: So the Lumineon is back, eh?

ROWAN: Albeit a little early this year.

JESSIE: Make those windows shine, spic and span!

MALE STUDENTS: Yes Ms. Jessalinda, right away!

ASH: We got a perfect score but

we still had four points taken off!

ANGIE: Look at the bright side,

I mean we got to see the Lumineon!

DAWN: It was so beautiful I couldn't believe it!

-BROCK: True! -ASH: Yeah, you're right!

PIKACHU: [HAPPY]

ASH: Sure hope we get to see Lumineon again.

NARRATOR: A series of close encounters

with the most amazing Pokémon have given our Heroes

some new food for thought!

NARRATOR: And with the completion of Day Three,
