NARRATOR: As the final event

of the Pokémon Summer Academy prepares to get underway,

the happy faces of Trainers and Pokémon

alike reflect what a wonderful time everyone's had!

NARRATOR: And now, with excited anticipation,

our heroes await Professor Rowan's final announcement!

On a road, far from home,

you don't have to feel alone.

Brave and strong,

together we will be.

It's our destiny!

We will be heroes,

We can change the world if we try!

I go where you go,

Forever friends, you and I!

We will be heroes!

Battle Dimension Pokémon!

[ASH READS ON-SCREEN TEXT]

ROWAN: Students, it is my honor and pleasure to announce

our final activity at the Pokémon Summer Academy.

Without a doubt our biggest program,

it's the Pokémon Triathlon!

ROWAN: The things you've learned this week will play a key role!

YUZO: The starting line is here at the Academy,

and everyone will begin simultaneously!

YUZO: We have prepared a Poké Ball for each one of you,

but you'll have no idea which Pokémon it contains

ahead of time!

ASH: Like what we did on the first day!

PIKACHU: [UNDERSTANDING]

DAWN: So, we work with whatever Pokémon pops out!

PIPLUP: [INTERESTED]

YUZO: You and your Pokémon will wind your way

through the forest and head towards this lake!

BROCK: Excuse me, but is that where we get our next Pokémon?

YUZO: Right! You'll be using a Water-type Pokémon

to cross the lake, and after that.

ANGIE: Then, it's marathon time!

SHINX: [EXCITED]

YUZO: From that point,

each team will make their way back here to the finish line!

Also, it's quite important to remember under no circumstances

should you att*ck or battle with any other teams!

YUZO: First place earns fifty points,

second place earns thirty points,

third place, twenty points, and finally,

all of our remaining players will receive ten points apiece!

YUZO: Some good news for the Red Team.

The overall point total will be calculated using

the points earned by all the Red Team players!

ANGIE: Wow, then that means if we do well,

we'll be able to overtake the Blue Team!

SHINX: [HAPPY]

ASH: Great! We're gonna show them!

PIKACHU: [EXCITED]

ASH: Those fifty points are gonna be all mine!

Pikachu, ready to go? PIKACHU: [EXCITED]

ANGIE: It's good to be pumped up,

but keep up the hot air,

and you'll pass out!

ANGIE: For your information Ash,

the Pokémon Summer Academy

Triathlon is a lot more intense than you think!

ASH: Go ahead and say whatever you want!

I'm gonna get first place!

ANGIE: No, that'll be me!

You're better off aiming for second!

ASH: You've got it backwards!

ANGIE: I don't think so!

DAWN: Just stop it! Both of you!

PIPLUP: [BOTHERED]

BROCK: Relax you two! No matter which one of you finishes first,

it's the same points if the other comes in second!

ASH: You know, you're right! So, may the best guy win!

ASH: I'll NEVER give up!

ASH: Even if that means forever!

ANGIE: Uh, well, uh.

ASH: What's wrong with you?

ANGIE: Nothing. I'm fine! Come on, let's go!

SHINX: [RUNNING]

ASH: What got into her? PIKACHU: [CONFUSED]

DAWN: Something doesn't seem right.

CONWAY: Well, Dawn, it's almost that time.

DAWN: Ack! Conway.

CONWAY: You see, I've been spending a lot of time analyzing

every last bit of data I've collected

on you throughout the week.

CONWAY: And I've come to the conclusion

that you're going to be my most formidable rival

in the Pokémon Triathlon!

DAWN: Your rival?

CONWAY: That's right, Dawn.

I've got you marked, see? Sounds exciting, eh?

DAWN: Whoa. What's up with that guy?

ASH, BROCK: Yeah. PIKACHU, PIPLUP: [AFFIRMATIVE]

ROWAN: I can just feel the excitement building in everyone!

BROCK, DAWN, ASH, PIPLUP, PIKACHU: [CURIOUS]

ASH: Hi, Professor Rowan!

DAWN: Hi, Nurse Joy! Why are you here?

JOY: It's my job to make sure

all of your Pokémon are strong and healthy!

JOY: So remember, if anything goes wrong during the Triathlon,

I'll be right here! CHANSEY: [COMFORTING]

BROCK: Just the thought of a lovely lady in waiting, wow!

My blood pressure is rising,

and my heart's pounding a mile a minute,

which can only mean one thing!

BROCK: I need immediate medical attention!

CROAGUNK: [JABBING]

CROAGUNK: [CROAKING]

BROCK: Why do I keep on doing this?

JESSIE: That's nice!

Of course no one wants to get a sunburn at my age.

Got to save my seventeen-ish silky skin! Ha ha!

BOY STUDENT : Good luck on the upcoming Triathlon

Ms. Jessilinda. You'll be great!

BOY STUDENT : The Green Team probably isn't gonna win it,

but we'll keep fighting 'til the bitter end!

JESSIE: Excuse me but the Green Team never gives up!

Faith and hope spring eternal! All for one, and one to win!

STUDENTS [X]: Yeah!

JESSIE: Sorry but I seem to have misplaced my manners!

JAMES: Jessie's team spirit is on full burn!

MEOWTH: Maybe, but her empty head can't seem to grasp

that the Green Team's winning chances are zip, zero, nada.

JAMES: True. But it would be good for our future health

if Jessie were to take that victory lap.

MEOWTH: Of course! And we could help out by getting sneaky.

JAMES: Oh, I just love a good sneak!

DAWN: Until the marathon why don't you take a good rest?

PIPLUP: [AGREEING]

ANGIE: Yeah, same for you Shinx! SHINX: [HAPPY]

ROWAN: All right, let's put this Pokémon Triathlon in motion!

Everyone on your marks.

ASH: Hang on tight, buddy!

PIKACHU: [READY]

ROWAN: Get set!

JESSIE: Make way for the fastest feet in foot racing!

It's Jessilinda! Yahoo!

JESSIE: Aah, my swift speed comes from a heart that's pure!

Now, my reward!

HIPPOWDON: [ROARING]

JESSIE: Sorry, bad choice! Take a hike!

I'll just hand this Hippowdon in for something sleeker

and with more sass!

ASSISTANT B: The exchanging of Poké Balls

is forbidden by the rules!

JESSIE: Oopsie!

-ASH: Okay this one's mine! -DAWN: I'll take this one!

SPOINK: [APPEARING]

DODRIO: [APPEARING]

ARIADOS: [APPEARING]

ONIX: [APPEARING]

DAWN: Wow, I got a Dodrio!

ASH: And check out my Spoink!

BROCK: Great! Onix sure looks strong!

ANGIE: So does my, Ariados!

ASH: Yeah! Giddy up!

DAWN: Let's move it!

ANGIE: All right now! Run like the wind Ariados!

BROCK: Way to go Onix!

JESSIE: Stop! Hold on!

JESSIE: It's you and me, tiny.

All right Hippowdon, catch up to the crew!

HIPPOWDON: [ROARING]

JESSIE: Hey, no surprise. Sand Tomb!

YUZO: All right, it's the last day

of the Pokémon Summer Academy,

and everything's on the line!

YUZO: They're off at the Pokémon Triathlon!

ROWAN: With that kind of enthusiasm,

the outcome is anyone's guess!

JOY: Well I just hope that no one ends up getting hurt!

Right Chansey? CHANSEY: [AGREEING]

DAWN: That's it, like that! Go!

ASH: Hold on, Dawn! Not so fast!

ASH: Yeah, we're catching up!

ARIADOS: [SCREECHING]

DODRIO: [PANTING]

DAWN, ASH, PIKACHU: [SHOCKED]

ANGIE: Eat my dust!

ASH: Come on Spoink, we can't lose!

DAWN: Floor it, Dodrio!

BROCK: Pedal to the metal Onix!

ONIX: [ROARING]

YUZO: And Angie and Ariados surge ahead to take the lead!

JOY: That Angie's really making the most of Ariados' skills!

ROWAN: It's a main objective of the Pokémon Summer Academy:

expanding knowledge by exposing students to new Pokémon.

YUZO: Here comes our next group of competitors!

CAMERUPT, BLASTOISE, DRAPION,

URSARING, TAUROS, DONPHAN, SHIFTRY: [RUNNING]

GARCHOMP: [FRANTIC]

BOY STUDENT A: You'd all better get out of the way!

GARCHOMP: [MANIC FLYING]

STUDENT B, CAMERUPT: [CONFUSED]

BOY STUDENT A: Out of the way! Out of the way!

STUDENT B, CAMERUPT: [SHOCKED]

BOY STUDENT A, GARCHOMP: [SCREAMING]

STUDENTS X, LUXRAY, URSARING, ARBOK: [PANICKED]

DRAPION: [ROARING]

BLASTOISE, CAMERUPT, LUXRAY,

YUZO: Whoa! We're looking at a

multi-people-and-Pokémon pile on the field!

DUGTRIO: [EMERGING]

CONWAY: I had a feeling that digging some holes

and traveling underground was the only way to go. Yup!

ARIADOS: [SCUTTLING]

ANGIE: Thanks, Ariados!

ARIADOS: [SATISFIED]

ANGIE: You're up next!

LAPRAS: [READY]

ANGIE: Okay, Lapras! It's up to you!

LAPRAS: [HAPPY]

DODRIO: [SWIMMING EFFORT]

ASH: Hey thanks a lot, Spoink!

DAWN: Thank you, Dodrio!

BROCK: Well done, Onix!

ASH: Now, it's time to clinch this!

PIKACHU: [DETERMINED]

ANGIE: Winning this and grabbing first place

will be a piece of cake!

ASH: Angie!

ASH: You haven't won it yet!

ANGIE: It's Ash!

MANTYKE: [HAPPY]

ASH: Now full speed ahead, Mantyke!

MANTYKE: [AFFIRMATIVE]

ASH: Uh, coming through!

ANGIE: Like that's gonna happen! Lapras, use Ice Beam, now!

LAPRAS: [ICE BEAM MOVE]

LAPRAS: [HAPPY]

ANGIE: Let's go!

LAPRAS: [HAPPILY GLIDING]

ANGIE: See you later!

ASH: Quick Mantyke, step on it!

MANTYKE: [PADDLING]

LAPRAS: [PADDLING]

BROCK: Wow, those two sure know how to mix it up don't they?

DAWN: Well six can play at that game!

Quick Sharpedo, let's move!

SHARPEDO: [AGGRESSIVE]

-DAWN: It's Conway! -CONWAY: Guilty as charged!

Well my dear, I'll have to catch up with you later!

YUZO: We've made it to the second stage

of the Pokémon Triathlon, with each competitor teamed up

with a Water Pokémon as they cross the lake!

JESSIE: I have had it!

I don't recall this being part of my job description!

JESSIE: Thanks Hippowdon, return!

JESSIE: A job well done!

JAMES: Jessie's dead last! Sinking fast!

MEOWTH: Maybe we should give that girl's Water-type Pokémon

a little submarine type boost!

JESSIE: All right, on the double!

MAGIKARP: [EMERGING SLOPPILY]

JAMES, MEOWTH: A Magikarp?

MAGIKARP: [GASPING]

JESSIE: I need you like I need too much sun!

JESSIE, MAGIKARP: [STRUGGLING]

JESSIE, MAGIKARP: [GASPING]

JAMES: Since when does a Magikarp move out like that?

MEOWTH: That Professor Rowan

sure knows how to pick Pokémon with primo pizzazz pluck!

ASH, ANGIE: Go, go, go, go, go, go!

Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!

ASH: Great, Mantyke, thanks!

ANGIE: You too, Lapras!

ANGIE: All right Shinx, it's all yours!

SHINX: [READY]

ASH: Okay Pikachu, it's crunch time!

PIKACHU: [PANTING]

ANGIE: You're the one getting crunched!

SHINX: [PANTING]

YUZO: And the marathon is underway,

with Ash and Angie out front and leading the pack!

YUZO: And lagging behind, we have:

YUZO: Dawn, Brock, and Conway, trying to cut that lead!

YUZO: But, wait! Farther out, who could that be?

JESSIE, MAGIKARP: [GASPING]

CONWAY: What? JESSIE, MAGIKARP: [GURGLING]

MAGIKARP: [FLOPPING]

YUZO: There's been a change! Jessilinda, from the Green Team,

has suddenly and dramatically jumped from last place

up to third place!

JESSIE: Finally you can feast your eyes on

what I'm really made of!

CONWAY: I must say an impressive feast.

CONWAY: Perhaps it might have been a smarter choice

for me to keep tabs on you rather than on Dawn!

ASH, ANGIE, PIKACHU, SHINX: [RUNNING]

ANGIE: I am not losing to the likes of you, Ash Ketchum,

and that's final!

ASH: You're gonna be changing your mind real soon!

JESSIE, SEVIPER: [RUNNING]

JESSIE: Go pick on someone from your OWN planet!

JESSIE, SEVIPER: [RUNNING]

CONWAY: Once I start keeping tabs on someone, I don't stop!

SLOWKING: [RUNNING HAPPILY]

YUZO: And it's a neck-and-neck battle

for the number one spot as the competitors enter the tunnel!

YUZO: And just who emerges in that number one spot

is anybody's guess!

JESSIE: Enough being pursued!

Seviper, take care of that fruitcake with Poison Tail!

SEVIPER: [POISON TAIL MOVE]

CONWAY, SLOWKING: [STARTLED]

ASH, ANGIE, PIKACHU, SHINX: [STARTLED]

ASH: That's against the rules so stop!

PIKACHU: [ANNOYED]

JESSIE: There is nothing more cacophonous

in a cave setting than claptrap! Seviper boink them with Bite!

SEVIPER: [BITE MOVE]

SHINX: [STARTLED]

ANGIE: Shinx, no!

SHINX: [SCREAMING]

ASH: Angie!

SEVIPER: [BITE MOVE]

ANGIE: Shinx, are you okay? SHINX: [HAPPY]

JESSIE: Seviper make sure you pin these pinheads!

SEVIPER: [HISSING]

CONWAY: Sorry!

SEVIPER: [YELP]

CONWAY: Well I guess that settles that!

I've won it, along with my Blue Team!

CONWAY: Guess my tab-keeping time on you is over!

JESSIE: No wacko first disses me and then beats me!

SEVIPER: [PAINED]

ANGIE: I'll get us out of here, Shinx!

SHINX: [NERVOUS]

ASH: Now hold on tight! You'll both be just fine!

ANGIE: Thanks Ash!

YUZO: We're now hovering over the tunnel's exit!

And the first competitors out of the tunnel are...

Well what do you know!

JESSIE: Wait!!

YUZO: First from the Blue Team we have Conway,

and running right behind him is Jessilinda from the Green Team!

JESSIE: Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait!

ASH: Come on Angie! Just a little more!

PIKACHU: [SUPPORTIVE]

SHINX: [LEAPING]

ASH: Hey you two, you hanging in there?

ANGIE: We're fine! Thank you Ash!

SHINX: [GRATEFUL]

ASH: No prob! Glad you're fine!

ASH: This isn't over yet! Let's turn this thing around!

PIKACHU: [DETERMINED]

ANGIE: I'm not going easy on you just because you saved me!

ASH: I didn't think you would!

ASH, PIKACHU, ANGIE, SHINX: [SCREAMING RUN]

YUZO: We're now at the finish line! And in the lead we have...

CONWAY, SLOWKING: [EXHAUSTED]

YUZO: Conway! Followed by Jessilinda!

CONWAY: Big mistake.

Not doing a little cardio training was pretty dumb.

SLOWKING: [EXHAUSTED]

JESSIE: Put some spring in your step, Seviper. Come on, like me.

SEVIPER: [PANTING]

JAMES: Jessie looks like she just got back from shopping.

JAMES: But with a bounced credit card!

MEOWTH: With all those three hots

and a cot days living it up in the lap of luxury,

she's gotten a little soft around the middle!

YUZO: Look at that! Here come both Ash and Angie!

ASH, PIKACHU: [PANTING]

YUZO: An unexpected turn of events!

YUZO: The outcome of this race is still up for grabs!

YUZO: Never in my life have I witnessed a triathlon like this!

JOY: You can do it!

CHANSEY: [SUPPORTIVE]

JAMES: Hang in Jessie! I mean to say Jessilinda!

MEOWTH: Show them a chunk of your sinew and spunk!

JESSIE: These legs aren't in perfect shape for nothing!

That finish line was meant for me!

JESSIE, SLOWKING, SEVIPER: [TRUDGING]

CONWAY: Almost there!

JESSIE, SLOWKING, SEVIPER: [STUMBLING]

ASH, ANGIE, PIKACHU, SHINX: [RUNNING]

ASH, ANGIE: First place is gonna be mine and that's that!

ASH, ANGIE, PIKACHU, SHINX: [YELLING]

YUZO: We have a winner!

YUZO: We have Ash and Pikachu in first place!

Coming in second is Angie and Shinx!

YUZO: Which means the Red Team has taken first and second!

ASH: Yeah! We did it!

PIKACHU: [PROUD]

ANGIE: Well, so that's that.

ANGIE: Congratulations Ash!

SHINX: [FRIENDLY]

ASH: Hey thank you, Angie! You too, Shinx.

PIKACHU: [HAPPY]

YUZO: The rest of the competitors

are making their way in, and we have the final results!

YUZO: The Red Team has overtaken the Blue Team for the victory!

CONWAY, JESSIE, SLOWKING, SEVIPER: [PAINED CRAWLING]

CONWAY: A shame. My Pokémon expertise was unassailable,

but my endurance was strictly subpar.

JESSIE: That's it.

Next time I grace the hallowed halls of the Summer Academy,

I'm majoring in food service!

ROWAN: So this brings our Summer Academy to an end!

ROWAN: First, congratulations to the Red Team on their victory!

JOY: And of course the Blue and Green Teams were wonderful too!

And I'm extra specially overjoyed

that not one student was injured!

CHANSEY: [PLEASED]

ROWAN: And so I say goodbye with my one wish for all of you.

ROWAN: That the friendship you have with all Pokémon deepens,

and you always learn from each other!

STUDENTS: Right!

ASH: So we all get this plaque?

DAWN: Of course!

Everyone who was involved in the Summer Academy gets one!

BROCK: I'm going to remember this forever!

ROWAN: One more thing!

You're all invited to the annual final night bonfire!

BROCK, DAWN, STUDENTS X, PIPLUP, PIKACHU, SHINX: [AWED]

JAMES: She didn't get the brass ring,

but she gave it the old college try!

MEOWTH: No robots from us

and she STILL managed to stay in the hunt!

JAMES: How quickly time flies when you're having fun.

I feel empty knowing it's all over.

MEOWTH: Yeah! And when it comes to feeling empty

my tummy's right on the same page as you are, you know?

JAMES: Now that's odd;

I have the sneaking suspicion we've forgotten something.

MEOWTH: I know what you mean.

like we forgot the whole point of being here.

JAMES, MEOWTH: Whatever!

JAMES: And besides, we made some real cash!

MEOWTH: And our room and board's all been bought and paid for!

JESSIE: Since I must've b*rned enough calories

to power a nuclear destroyer,

I'd better stoke up for the soon-to-come leaner season!

STUDENTS: Ms. Jessilinda?

BOY STUDENT A: You see, we wanted to thank you!

We all had such a lot of fun being in all those classes

with you every day!

BOY STUDENT B: None of us will ever forget

the awesome week we spent here with you. Really!

STUDENT: I won't. STUDENT: Or me!

STUDENT: Thanks Ms. Jessilinda!

STUDENTS X: Thank you!

JESSIE: Aren't you nice! Clueless but, thank you!

ASH: Angie, what's wrong?

ANGIE: It's all done.

ANGIE: You know, over! It's the last night!

ANGIE: I must've gone to the Pokémon Summer Academy

a million times before,

but this year was hands down the best one yet!

ASH: I had a lot of fun, too!

ANGIE: You know the most amazing thing that happened to me

was that you saved my life two times!

ASH: Well duh, I mean, you and I, we're friends!

ANGIE: We are friends. Right?

ASH: We'll meet again. No doubt!

ANGIE: Yeah!

ASH: I'll come see you the next time I get to Solaceon Town!

I know! We'll battle!

ANGIE: And that'll be nice. Can't wait!

NARRATOR: An experience like

attending the Pokémon Summer Academy

doesn't come along every day,

but our heroes along with so many new friends

took full advantage of the opportunity!
