train and the last car is the Caboose

will be just like a puzzle a puzzle what

do you mean Barney well each of the fun

things we'll do today will be like a

different piece of a puzzle and just

maybe we'll put together a real puzzle

along the way a real puzzle all right

let's get started who came in everybody

line up hey let's have everyone suggest

fun things to do to make the day extra

special BJ can go first all right Keisha

second Curtis third Robert fourth and

Kim fifth we'll take turns oh we take

turns so we'll all have fun and we

what would you like to do well I want to

play a game Barney but there are so many

I'm not sure which one hmm you say your

choice won't be too quick cause you're

not sure which game to pick let's think

about it for a while and list the games

that make you smile jumping rough is fun

to do hopping like a kangaroo play

musical chairs and rush to sit or tag a

friend and say you're it you like

playing stop and go how about a game of

tic-tac-toe you like it when we jump and

run and when we play out in the sun but

games are fun in any weather especially

when we play together

look I found a puzzle piece

for some more I think you never know

what you might find but now it's

Keisha's turn to pick what we'll do

a day is really special for me when I

get to dress up and pretend to be an

astronaut or a princess yeah so what are

we waiting for the costumes are up in

the tree house

when I was walking around today I saw an

animal Parade purse was a cat with a

funny old hat I asked can you imagine

pieces it's Keisha yep that's me oh

maybe you'll find more puzzle pieces

when Curtis picks what we'll do next

a day is always fun for me when I get to

make a picture sometimes I use markers

or crayons or paint anyway is fun

who wants to show theirs first I will

I drew a picture of a zebra with the

black marker on white paper

I drew shapes with different colored

crayons first I made a red circle

second I did this yellow square and

third I drew a green triangle that's

good BJ what did you do Barney oh I drew

lots of pictures but we can look at them

later okay

all right it's a third puzzle piece we

found see

Curtis is on this one it is me I wonder

what the puzzle will look like when we

put it together oh maybe you'll find

another piece when we do something else

it's Robert's turn to pick

well I like to read a book every day

I like the radio yo I love to watch TV

but every day I make some time for

something good to read

it's our fun books are great let's sit

down with a book today books are fun

books are great easy book time yet oh I

just can't wait to read a book all right

do you know why I love to read a book

why I get so happy every time I take a

look cause books can take me anywhere

that I want to go books help my

imagination grow the rubber

drew pictures to one of my favorite

stories would you like me to tell it to

what's the story about Barney oh well

this is the story of The Tortoise and

the hair those are big words that mean

the tortoise is the turtle and the hair

is the rabbit

once there was a speedy bunny everybody

called him Sonny from morning's done

till Setting Sun Sunny love to run run

nearby lived a little turtle she was old

her name was Myrtle she was always on

the go but her only speed was slow slow

slow

Sunny love to challenge everyone I'll

race you all till day is done you'll

never beat my Zippy Pace I'm sure to win

a little race because I run so very fast

I'll come in first and you'll be lost

Myrtle said she'd race the bunny who

laughed and flooded very funny

on the day of the race all the animals

came to watch Myrtle's disgrace

build there then shouted

and m*rder steps oh silly slow

Sunny speed right from the start left

the turquoise

[Music]

Sonny raced so far ahead he stopped to

smell the flowers instead then he took a

nap so he'd feel fine oh then he crossed

the finish line

but Myrtle never stopped to rest she

walked along and did her best as Sonny

slept she passed in by

e still there did cry the rabbit said

this is the word

common last and Myrtle first a happy

smile crossed Myrtle's face for slow and

steady wins the race

here's another puzzle piece it's you

Robert wow that's the fourth piece we

found let's go see if we have enough

pieces to put the puzzle together

I think we'll need more than these four

puzzle pieces but we're getting closer

to seeing what the picture will be we

only need a couple more pieces now who's

next I think I am oh that's right you're

fifth well I'm really happy any day that

I can sing and dance oh I know the

perfect song to get our toes that happen

a gaggle of giggling wiggling geese came

Galloping through the grass

on their way to the farmer's house to

teach a ballet class and there before

their very eyes stood every animal

everybody there's a fifth puzzle piece

on the train hey Kim you're on this one

that is me oh cool okay whose turn is it

now well we've all taken turns picking

our fun except Barney what sounds like

fun to you Barney well I've always liked

putting puzzles together let's get

started

oh Barney we all got to do what's fun

for us but now the puzzle you wanted to

put together is missing a piece yeah

what are we gonna do oh it's okay I've

really had a super deep super day we

play games dressed up made pictures read

a book and sang and danced but do you

know what made the day most special to

me why well what

I got to do it all with some of my very

special friends and that's what really

makes a day special for me

I love you you love me we're a happy

family with a great big hug and a kiss

from me to you

wow oh now that we've solved this puzzle

fourth we heard a story about The

Tortoise and the hair and fifth we had

fun singing and dancing to a favorite

song at the end of the day we made a

puzzle that picture this all together

that's what makes a day really special

spending it with friends
