i got it from the zoo see it shows some

of the animals that live there

all of those animals live in the same

place yes they do baby pop a zoo is a

special place where many animals live

close to each other oh boy i want to see

all of the animals i want to go to the

zoo

thought i heard someone mention a zoo oh

once upon a time

there was a lion who was new at the zoo

he was lonely

but he didn't know how to make friends

hi my name is lion i'm new here at the

zoo i sure would like to make some

friends would you like to be my friend

the zebra left because she didn't want

to just watch the lion play

she wanted to play too

wow it has a good bounce excuse me lion

can you bounce the ball to us so that we

rhino really wanted to play with the

but lion wasn't sharing so he decided to

leave

what happened to the rhino he left

boy it sure is hard making friends here

at this zoo

but i'm sure we can have a good time

playing together but we can't have fun

the lion realized that the zebra and

rhino left because he wasn't taking

i'm sorry guys i wasn't being very

lion learned an important lesson at the

zoo if you want to make friends you have

to be friendly and taking turns is a

good way to be friendly

like a great big beautiful cat

he is orange and black with lots of

hey that's a good clue the animal comes

from africa but how are we going to find

africa well why don't we find out with

a zoo is a place where animals from many

different places come together and live

the animals come from all over the world

here are some animals that come from

africa

oh look a zebra comes from africa it's

black and white stripes are so pretty

that's a hippopotamus i learned in

school that a hippo loves the water and

is an excellent swimmer that's right

hippos spend most of their days in water

and those are called gazelles they live

in big groups and can run very fast

they're pretty maybe stella's present

goes to a gazelle

that's a giraffe

they're the ones with long

necks

that's right their long necks help them

reach the leaves at the very tip top of

trees

wow a lot of cool animals come from

africa that's right robert and a zoo is

a great place to see them

i think we've solved the mystery

i came to pick up a present from stella

oh here it is it's for one of the

animals at the zoo it's for the giraffe

oh well it must be for doris the giraffe

well most of them it's a part of my job

a zookeeper has to know the animals

really well

so that we can take good care of them

i feed them i keep them safe and healthy

and

i even give some of the animals a bath

oh i bet the elephant's bathtub is

really really really big

come to the zoo anytime to visit with

the animals and me we'd love to have you
