Previously on Teen Wolf...

Lydia: You're a harbinger of death, Jordan.

Dr. Fenris: She'll be safe there.

Stiles: She's catatonic.

Dr. Valack: Dread Doctors. Para scientists in pursuit of creation of the perfect k*ller. And now they've done it.

Liam: Hayden. I couldn't save her.

I was trying to k*ll Scott.

She's gone.

Hayden: That's it. That's where I found the bodies.

Four of them.

Dispatcher: (ON RADIO) Any available units, Beacon Hills telecom is requesting an 11-5 at the communication towers off Cypress Lane.

Clark: 10-4, Dispatch. I'm in the area.

Copy, Unit 5.

A technician was sent over an hour ago and telecom hasn't heard back.

Clark: Copy, I'm 10-76.

Hayden: You're gonna drag me to work every night?

Clark: If I have to.

Hayden: You can't keep an eye on me 24/7.

Clark: You disappeared for three days.

I'm keeping an eye on you for the rest of your natural born life.

Hayden: I told you I was with Liam.

Clark: Which doesn't improve your argument.

Maybe you think you can do your own thing now.

I don't care.

You still need me.

We look out for each other, remember?

(MUSIC PLAYING)

For all I know, you could have been dead.

Stay here.

(ENGINE RUNNING)

(ENGINE STOPS)

(PANTING)

Hello?

Beacon County Sheriff's Department.

Hello?

Man: (WHISPERING) Help me.

(BREATH TREMBLING)

Hayden: Liam!

Liam: Sorry!

Hayden: What are you doing here?

Liam: I sent you like 100 texts.

Hayden: I saw.

(STUTTERS)

Liam: You saw? That's it?

How could you not tell me that you're alive?

Hayden: Maybe because you left me for dead.

Liam: You were dead.

Hayden: Liam, you need to go.

Man: Here...

(GASPING)

Still here.

(PANTING)

(SNARLING)

(METAL CREAKING)

(HISSING)

(SNARLING)

(g*nshots)

(SNARLING)

Hayden: What the hell is that?

Liam: Run.

(GROWLING)

Clark: Hayden, run!

Hayden: What is that thing?

Liam, what is it?

Liam: I don't know! Just run!

Hayden: Jump.

Liam: Are you kidding?

Hayden: We can make it. Come on.

See, I told you.

(ROARING)

Liam: Do you trust me?

Hayden: What? No.

(SCREAMING)

(MUSIC PLAYING)

(GROANS)

(GRUNTING)

(GROANS) What are you doing?

Hayden: Making sure you're alive.

Liam: Oh, I can't move my legs.

Argh, I think my back's broken.

Hayden: Will it heal?

Liam: Eventually. I think.

Hayden: Good.

Liam: Whoa! Where are you going?

Hayden: To find my sister and make sure she's okay.

You're going to just leave me here?

Hayden: You pulled me off a cliff.

I'm lucky I healed.

Liam: I saved your life.

Hayden: This time.

Liam: Who saved it last time?

Hayden: Theo.

(FOOTSTEPS RECEDING)

(EKG BEEPING)

Man: Tracy?

(GASPING)

Theo: Looks like he remembers you.

I'll take care of it if you want me to.

All you have to do is ask.

Tracy: My dad defended someone on death row once.

You know how lethal injection works?

(PANTING)

One of the dr*gs they use paralyzes your diaphragm.

Makes it impossible to breathe.

(PANTING)

(GAGGING)

(EKG BEEP QUICKENS)

(EKG FLATLINING)

Parrish: This is from the relay station's security camera.

Scott: That looked big.

Parrish: And too fast for anyone to get a good look at it.

But you already know what it is, don't you?

Scott: The last Chimera.

You still got a black light?

Mercury means Chimera.

Parrish: But what was it doing here?

Why come here and k*ll some random communications tech?

Scott: Maybe it just likes to k*ll.

Maybe it's what it does.

Parrish: That's terrifying.

Scott: Parrish, how many bodies do you actually see when you dream about the Nemeton?

Parrish: Everyone.

(SIGHS)

Stillinski: The story Theo told me about the library.

That's how it happened.

Except it didn't happen to him.

Stiles: Yeah.

Stillinski: Stiles, I can't protect you if I don't know the truth.

Did you really feel like you couldn't tell me?

Stiles: I couldn't tell anyone.

Stillinski: Did you think that I wouldn't believe that it was self-defense?

Stiles: What if it wasn't?

What if I told you I wanted him dead?

Stillinski: I'd believe you.

I also believe that wanting someone dead and murdering them are two very different things.

Stiles: Yeah, but what if the judge didn't think so?

Stillinski: Then to hell with the judge.

Stiles, it was self-defense, and I would destroy every shred of evidence to protect you if I had to.

I would burn the whole sheriff's station to the ground.

Stiles: What about upholding the law?

What about Kira?

Stilinski: Kira was a mistake.

I guess I'm learning how to bend.

Stiles; So, what, it just goes away?

Stillinski: Not for you.

The problem now is how to bear this burden.

This kind of thing is not at all uncommon in law enforcement.

A fatal mistake.

A partner who dies.

Or one who gets paralyzed.

Stiles, you carry that with you.

Sometimes it doesn't truly feel okay again until there's a kind of counterbalance.

Stiles: Like what?

Stillinski: Like instead of taking a life, you manage to save one.

Something like that can help, but maybe only for a moment.

But the real conflict you're having now is between your head and your heart.

Your head.

Your head knows that the only crime you committed was surviving.

But your heart?

Your heart still thinks it was m*rder.

So I guess you, uh...

You gotta get your heart to catch up to your head.

(EXHALES)

Stiles: I feel like it's more than guilt though, you know, I feel like...

I feel like I lost something.

You know, I feel like I can't get it back.

Stillinski: You won't.

Not entirely.

But you get a little bit by forgiving yourself.

And since that's not always the easiest thing in the world to do, then maybe you start by forgiving someone else.

Someone who probably really needs it.

Someone like Scott.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Theo: How much did you take, Josh?

Josh: A lot.

And I don't feel a thing.

Theo; You won't. Your body heals too fast.

Josh: Yeah? Then maybe you should have left me dead.

Theo: Or maybe you just need to feel something else.

Something better.

(GROWLING)

How does that feel?

(SNARLING)

(JOSH SNARLING)

(GROWLING)

(CHUCKLES)

Malia: You didn't have to come all the way out here.

Scott; You weren't answering your phone.

Malia: I can't help you.

Not right now.

Scott: What if I told you that you're the only one that I have left?

Malia: You're not going to want my help.

Scott: Anything that happened between us...

Malia: I'm talking about something that's going to happen.

Something I'm going to do.

And you're not going to like me much after I do it.

Scott: Is that why I hear two other heartbeats in there?

And why yours is b*ating so fast?

Malia: Scott, go home.

I can't help.

(ENGINE STARTING)

(MOTORCYCLE LEAVES)

Did you get anything out of him?

(GRUNTING) Braeden: Not yet.

(GRUNTING)

(GROANING)

Kassian: You think you can make me talk?

I am Spetsnaz.

Soviet Special Forces.

In battle, we k*ll our own wounded.

(GAGGING)

You could tear out my fingernails, cut my lips with razors.

I'll still say nothing.

Braeden: Correct me if I'm wrong, but your section is out of work and broke, right?

Kassian: You won't get a word out of me.

Braeden: What if we paid you $10,000?

Kassian: The Desert Wolf was last seen close to the Canadian border.

She won't travel by plane.

She will stay away from surveillance cameras when she can.

Braeden; Then we still have some time.

Kassian: There's another reason she won't fly.

She's not traveling alone.

Malia: What do you mean?

Kassian: She has a hostage.

An animal doctor.

Malia: Deaton.

Liam: I went to the club looking for Hayden, and there's Josh.

Standing there. Completely alive.

Just like Hayden. Because of Theo.

Mason: Theo brought them both back.

That's what he's doing.

He's, he's building a pack.

His own pack of dead Chimeras.

Liam: They both looked pretty alive to me.

But they're not the same.

There was something about Hayden.

There's something wrong about her.

Mason: Maybe that's what dying does to you.

What if it, what if it like darkens your soul.

What if they're all evil now?
(DOOR OPENS)

Corey: Hey, guys!

Are you volunteering for the library clean-up, too?

(STAMMERING) Liam: Yeah.

(STAMMERING) Mason: Yes.

Liam: Yeah.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Mason: So...

You're alive.

Corey; Yeah.

(STAMMERING) Mason: That must have been pretty difficult to explain to your parents.

Corey: Not really.

They didn't notice me much before that.

I think they're just glad 'cause they think they can sue the hospital now.

Mason: They gotta be happy you're alive, though?

Corey: Are you?

Mason: Me?

Yeah, I'm...

Alive is definitely better than dead.

You know, much better.

Corey: You have no idea what to say to me, do you?

Mason: Not really, no.

Corey: Can I ask you a question then?

Mason: Yeah, sure.

Corey: What are you doing Saturday night?

(MUSIC PLAYING)

(TYPING)

Stillinski: Is that my laptop?

Stiles: Yep.

Stillinski: Do you have my password?

Stiles: I have all your passwords.

You know they just brought in another body from last night?

Stillinski: Yeah, I was hoping you wouldn't find out.

Now give me my damn computer.

Stiles: Hang on, hang on.

(GROANING)

I think there's some footage missing.

Or something missing in the footage.

Stillinski: I think there's something missing in your head.

Stiles: You need your rest.

(KEYBOARD CLACKING)

(CLANKING)

(BREATH TREMBLING)

(CLANKING CONTINUES)

(GASPING)

(PANTING)

(PANTING)

(GASPS)

(WHISPERING) Meredith: Don't be afraid.

Parrish: You're really turning this in?

Clark: I know what I saw.

Parrish: "Deputy was att*cked by an enormous animal of undetermined species."

Yeah, that makes things clear.

Hayden: Are we leaving?

Clark: Not yet. And don't move.

Hayden: You shouldn't be here.

Theo: Why not?

My record's spotless.

Are you going to tell me what you saw last night?

Hayden: It was exactly like the painting.

Exactly what you said.

Theo: Have you told anyone else?

Hayden: I didn't think you'd want me to.

Theo: You're right.

Hayden: But I don't know why.

Theo: And you don't have to.

Look, that thing out there is going to k*ll a lot of people.

But it's not going to k*ll us. Not if we're together.

(CELL PHONE VIBRATING)

Hayden: My sister, i have to go

Theo: Anything else you want to tell me?

Hayden: Not really.

Theo; Look, I don't want this to sound like a warning, and I definitely don't want it to sound like a thr*at.

But you can't hide anything from me, Hayden.

Remember that.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Stiles: Hey.

Still not healing?

Scott: Sometimes it just takes a little longer.

What are you doing here?

Stiles; Ah, you heard about the guy who got k*lled out at the communication towers, right?

I think I may have figured something out.

Scott: What, you want my help?

Stiles: Yeah, well you said you can find the clues that I can't.

Here, take a look.

This is when the technician first arrived.

You see him going in?

Then Deputy Clark goes in.

Then something really big and really fast comes charging out.

And now comes Clark.

Eventually, technician's body is carried out by paramedics.

Scott: Okay, what am I missing?

Stiles: Two people go in. Three come out.

I checked all the footage.

Not a single person enters that building before the technician the entire day.

So where does that something really big and really fast come from?

Scott: There's another way in.

Liam: He's leaving. What's the plan?

Mason: I have a date with him on Saturday.

I thought that was the plan.

Liam: You were supposed to ask about Theo.

We can't wait until Saturday.

Mason: Sorry, but Theo leading an evil Chimera pack wasn't exactly a natural progression to the conversation.

Liam: Fine. I'll talk to him.

Theo: You don't have to hide from me, Corey.

Corey: I was trying to do something nice.

Theo: You were trying to do something normal.

But you don't have to be normal anymore, and you definitely don't have to be nice.

Corey: Well, I'm not going to hurt them.

Theo: Look, I don't want you to.

In fact, they don't know it yet, but we're going to protect them.

Just like I'm going to protect you.

So you're going to come with me and you're gonna do everything that I tell you, because I know you don't want to die again.

Do you, Corey?

Okay.

Stiles: You see that?

Scott: I see blood.

Stiles: Look where it leads to.

(PANTING)

(GRUNTING)

(PANTING)

Mason: Corey's not texting me back.

Liam: Because he left with Theo.

Mason; Are you sure?

Liam: He was here.

Mason: Well then, we should do something, right?

We should tell someone.

Liam, you have to tell him.

Liam: You think he'll even talk to me?

Mason; You're his Beta.

Doesn't he have to?

Liam: Where would I even start?

"Sorry for trying to k*ll you"?

"Sorry for leaving you for dead so that Theo could k*ll you"?

Mason: If, if you start off with sorry, the rest probably won't even matter.

Nurse: I have been here a long time, Lydia.

You think I haven't seen this before?

I know when patients are pretending.

Manipulating to get what they want.

You're not getting out of here.

Someone as dangerous as you are?

We can keep you here for the rest of your life.

Meredith: You have to wake up.

Lydia: What if I can't?

Meredith: Then you won't be able to help your friends and they'll die without you.

Lydia: How am I supposed to help them like this?

Meredith: You learned to fight, didn't you?

Lydia: Only a little.

Meredith: You learned more than you think you did, and faster than an ordinary person could.

Lydia: But that doesn't matter now.

Meredith: It does.

Because I'll teach you the rest.

I'm going to show you how to use your voice.

How to use it as a w*apon.

Scott: What is that?

Stiles: It looks like Latin.

Scott: Hold up that light. I'm gonna get a picture of it.

Stiles, hold the light still.

(GROANING)

(HISSING)

(SNARLING)

(GRUNTING)

Stiles: Scott, behind you!

(GRUNTING)

(SCREAMING)

Sucks, doesn't it?

(GROANING)

(GROWLING)

(SNARLS)

Theo: Okay!

Maybe they're not ready to take on an Alpha.

Especially one that can smell fear.

Corey: He's got fangs.

Scott: What did you do?

Theo: I found some new friends.

I don't take rejection well.

Stiles: Hey, Theo!

Theo: Stiles.

You're going to leave here thinking that you need to worry about me.

But you're wrong.

We're actually back on the same side.

Because that thing...

That's what we need to worry about.

Your pack and mine.

We're gonna go back to school and pretend like we're normal teenagers, but at night, we're going to be fighting for our lives.

Stiles: What is it?

Theo: It's not a Chimera.

Scott: But it's just a kid underneath.

Someone like us.

Theo: Not anymore.

Liam: Scott, I need to talk to you!

Scott?

(VEHICLE APPROACHING)

Liam: What are you doing here?

Hayden: Looking for you.

Liam: Is that okay with Theo?

Hayden: Probably not.

Liam: Why are you here?

Hayden: Because you are.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Did you really almost k*ll Scott to save me?

Liam: It was a supermoon.

But...

Yeah, I guess I did.

Hayden: That's really screwed up, Liam.

He's one of your best friends.

Liam: Yeah, now you're with Theo who told me to k*ll him.

Hayden: Something's different now.

I don't know why, but ever since coming back, nothing feels the same.

Nothing feels right.

Liam: Nothing?

Hayden: Except for you.

You're the only thing that feels the same.

The only thing that feels right.

I guess I just want to know how you feel about me.

(MUSIC CONTINUES)

(GRUNTING)

(PANTING)

Scott: He knew what it meant and I can't remember the words.

Stiles: Damnatio Memoriae.

It means the condemnation of memory.

I think it also means that whatever the Dread Doctors created, whatever this last Chimera really is, it's not something new.

It's something old.

Really old.

Scott: So they didn't create a new creature.

Stiles: They resurrected one.

Gerard: Nothing pleases me more than a surprise visit.

Argent: Do you know why I'm here?

Gerard: I have heard rumors.

A few bits of gossip manage to reach even this dark corner of Beacon Hills.

How long have you had that?

(GRUNTING)

(GROANING)

(GRUNTING)

(GASPING)

All this to help Scott?

Argent: You know about the Dread Doctors, don't you?

Gerard: So they did succeed?

Argent: Tell me what it is.

Gerard: Oh, not what it is. What it was.

A monster whose only purpose was to k*ll.

Not for sustenance, not for revenge, not for any rational impulse other than the drive to end life wherever it's found.

It also has a rather personal connection to our family.

La Bete.

The Beast of Gevaudan.

(EXHALES)

Scott: We need help.

If Theo's got his own pack now then we need ours.

We have to get the others back.

Stiles: The others?

You mean Kira who's currently battling a homicidal fox spirit inside of her, Malia who isn't even speaking to either one of us, Lydia who's stuck in Eichen House, and Liam who almost k*lled you?

Scott: Also known as our best friends.

Stiles: Okay, how?

Scott: One by one.

Stiles: You're not seriously going to make me do it?

Scott: You're part of the pack, right?

Stiles: Okay.

(SIGHS)

(MUSIC PLAYING)

(GROANING)

Scott; We need to find Kira.

Stiles: I still hate that tattoo.

Scott: I know.

Kira: How do we find them?

Noshiko: Skinwalkers are powerful shapeshifters and not particularly welcoming to strangers on their land.

They'll find us.

Kira: Mom... I think they already have.

Noshiko: Kira.

Take out your sword.
