11x02 - Demon Seed

Post by bunniefuu »

He's fixated on making
people zombies.

He overwhelms them.

He was trying
to take over my body.

You can't be comfortable
bringing your kids here.

I'm not.

Your soul is battling
against the darkness.

It's a demon.

It's Satan.

This is true evil.

It doesn't end well here

and I just feel fear.

My name is Amy Allan.

This is like Grand Central
Station for the dead.

I see dead people.

They have pain
that they suffered.

I speak to dead people.

She hates them, hates them.

And they speak to me,
but there's only one way to know

if my findings are real.

It's a demon.

It's Satan.

I rely on my partner.

I'm Steve DiSchiavi.

I'm a retired New York City
homicide detective.

What was the body count?
What happened?

And I know every person,
every house has secrets.

I don't know
if it's a demon or not,

but it sure as hell
looks like one.

It's my job to reveal them.

I feel like I'm crazy.

But Steve and I never speak...

We never communicate
during and investigation.

...until the very end.

All right.
I want to show you this.

When we uncover if it's safe
for you to stay...

I just don't want anything
to happen to my mother.

...or time to get out.

You have to get out.

So I'm out here
in Gatesville, Texas.

It's about an hour west of Waco.

I got a call from a woman
named Christy.

Now, she sounded pretty upset
on the phone,

and she tells me the activity
in her house is out of control.

Listening to her story
broke my heart,

and I'm hoping there's something
Amy and I can do to help.

Before Amy arrives, I look
for any leading information.

Photographs, children's toys,
and even m*llitary medals

can influence her findings.

So it's important I cover
or remove them all.

When I'm done, the location will
be ready for tonight's walk.

This place has extreme
negative energy.

There's this huge snake, like,
a human-sized king cobra.

He's all about control.

What I'm seeing is,

this thing
has been here a long time.

It's a battle to live here.

Your soul is battling
against the darkness.

So, Christy, I'm glad I'm here

because when we talked
on the phone,

you sounded really upset.

It feels like hell here.

You don't want to come home...

...because the minute
you walk in that door,

you're being emotionally
att*cked, emotionally drained.

We moved here in 2012.

So, Christy, who lives
in the house now?

Right now, just my husband
and I, Steve.

- Okay.
- And these are my two girls.

My daughter Tiffany, she lived
with us for a little while,

and this is
my daughter Jessica,

but I'm most concerned
about my grandkids.

What's going on
with the grandkids?

They say there's a mean man
in the back room.

I made that area, so they could
play back there and have fun,

but they're too scared
to play in there.

I think whatever's here
hates kids.

So that's got to k*ll you
as a grandmother.

It does. It really,
really, really does.

What do you think
is going on here?

Whatever is here is evil,
and in my heart of hearts,

I feel like it's a demon.

Well, I hope it's not, but if
you're right, it's an issue.

Yes, sir.

So do me a favor
and give me an idea

of what you guys
are experiencing.

Being held down,
being pushed, scratches,

mood swings, health issues.

Now, you mentioned mood swings.
What are we talking about?

Ever been so scared,

it's like a fear
that you just want to cry?

When you leave here,
do you feel better?

I mean, do you go to work?

I used to work at the female
maximum-security prison

right down the street,
and I can't work anymore

because of my health issues.

Okay.

So there's a female prison
down the block?

- Yeah, right down the street.
- Okay.

That might be something
I want to look into.

So let me ask you a question.

Why didn't you just
sell this place

and get the hell out of here?

What's to say that whatever
is here doesn't follow me?

This is supposed to be
our forever home.

It's not supposed to be
a house of nightmares.

I am not welcome here.

This place
sucks up energy, man.

It's just like a cesspool.

I'm getting pushed out.

It's, like, right in my gut,

and it's physically
pushing me back,

which make me feel nervous.

The snake, that thing,
it is manipulating people

and what they're seeing.

It makes you, like, have bizarre
thoughts, bizarre behaviors.

You probably aren't thinking
quite rationally.

Do you know what this thing is?

I think, like, people think,
like, it's Satan.

It's evil.

It's a demon.

Okay.
So what's going on in here?

I felt someone sitting
on the edge of my bed,

just like this, and then
it got right back up,

and you could actually
see it release.

Okay.
Would you say it was an adult?

- It felt like a man.
- Okay.

- Was Steve in bed with you?
- No.

He had already left for work.

All right. Anything else?

I have woken up with scratches
on my arm.

There were three scratches.

Is it possible you
did it yourself?

No. No.
My nails aren't that long.

All right, so I can't think
of an explanation.

- Anything else?
- Yeah.

Something touched on my leg.

How?

Like this and on my calf, too.

What'd it feel like,
a man's hand, a woman?

Like a man's hand,
like a caress.

It was inappropriate,
and it was cold.

My god. He's got --

Okay, just a sec
because he's coming up.

He's coming up my legs and arm.

I'm not gonna let him do that.

Just a sec.

Get off my **** legs, like,
like, right now, please.

It seeps into your body.

Ice, ice, ice-cold.

I think that people
have been hurt here.

Has anything else happened
in here?

I was laying here one night.

I could hear wings
and as it came toward me,

it pushed me back on the bed.

I felt like it was trying
to take over my body.

I mean, I could actually feel
my eyes being rolled

in the back of my head.

What did you do
when that happened?

I kept saying,
"I need to say, 'No.'

I need to say, 'No,'"
and when I did, whoosh.

It receded and went back
in the back of the house,

but you could still hear
the wings flapping.

I was so scared, I cried.

- What did you think it was?
- I felt it was demonic.

I feel like it was trying
to take over my body.

I'm hoping that's not the case
because if it is,

then it's a lot worse
than we thought.

This snake thing,
it's, like, big.

I can't put my arms around it,

and he knows where you're weak.

And then part of him,
part of him goes with you,

like a seed, you know?

It can infect you, and then you
go off and do really bad

**** here.

He's, like, fixated on making
people zombies.

They can do his bidding.

I feel like it's trying
to control me.

He's jacking up my head,
and it hurts.

He's torturing living people.

So, Jessica, I just got
finished talking to Mom.

Are you aware of how bad
things are?

- Yes, very much aware.
- Okay.

So I understand you're Christy's
daughter with the kids.

Yes.

I have four,
three boys and a girl.

You can't be comfortable
bringing your kids here.

I'm not.

It's very hard.
It really is.

Now, you've never lived here.

No.
You couldn't make me live here.

Okay.

So have you had
your own experiences?

- Yes, I have.
- Okay.

So let's talk about
some of them.

One time, I felt an icy caress
down my back.

Okay, so where were you
when this happened?

- I was in the back playroom.
- Okay.

There was no one else
in the room besides me,

and it sent, like,
a cold sh*t through my body.

Like, I felt it
from head to toe.

Okay. Anything else?

In this room, I saw something
that I just can't explain.

Okay.
Tell me what it looked like.

The only way I can think
to describe them

are gremlin-like creatures
crawling across the ceiling.

There were four of them,
and they had four legs.

And you're positive it wasn't

some kind of reflection
from outside?

My mom keeps the blinds
in here closed.

I have to ask you.
I mean, after seeing that,

why did you bring kids
back here after that?

Because as hard as it
is to come here,

I don't want to cost them
the opportunity

to spend time with my parents,
and I love my mother very much.

I think that whatever is here
is draining the life from her.

I think
it's trying to k*ll her.

Okay.

How might the living here
be affected by this thing?

I think they could
become violent.

I think they could
become depressed.

It would be bad.

It doesn't end well here
for living people.

So, Tiffany, things are
pretty bad in this house.

Yes, very bad.

I can see that you're upset,
but why did you think

it was important
to talk in this room?

I used to live here,
and I stayed in this room.

Okay, so this place has
bad memories for you?

Yes.

Okay. You okay?

I feel very emotional
and scared back here.

Okay. All right.

- Sorry.
- No, no. It's okay. Relax.

It's all right.
No, no, no, no.

It's okay.

Nothing's gonna happen
to you while I'm here.

Trust me on that.

That makes me feel better.

Yeah, good. All right?

Take me through some
of the experiences you had.

In certain areas,
there's cold spots.

Okay, now, there's a vent
right above you there.

Could that explain it?

No.

The heat would be on.

And how cold are we talking?

Like, freezer cold.

Okay. Anything else?

When I laid down to go to sleep,
and all of a sudden,

I heard a male whisper
in my ear my name.

- What was the voice like?
- It'd been in an aggressive way.

It went like, "Tiffany!"

Anything else?

I had a dream...

Okay.

...of a little girl
standing over me.

Describe the girl to me.

She was, like, about 6 or 7.

She had long blonde hair,
and her eyes were solid black.

You worried about Mom as well?

Very worried about her,

and I couldn't stand it
if anything happened to her.

Well, we're gonna make sure
nothing does, okay?

- I hope so.
- All right.

I'm seeing a little girl.

She is a dead person,
and she's probably,

I don't know, maybe even,
like, 8 or 9?

I do get that the dead little
girl comes in here a lot.

That she likes
to get on the bed.

She crawls up on it.

- Hey, Steve.
- How you doing?

Good.
You got a moment to chat?

- Yes, I do.
- All right, great.

So, Steve, a lot of male clients
are pretty skeptical.

How about you?

I was at first.

What changed your mind?

I was sitting out on the porch
one night,

and I heard a man
clearing his throat.

I know this place
is pretty remote,

and nobody really around here,

but could it have been
some transient guy

maybe just walking
through?

Possible, that's why I grabbed
the flashlight,

got in my truck,
drove around the property

to look
but didn't see anything.

All right. Anything else?

We have a doll.

The doll has a hat.

The hat was found
in the hallway

on two different occasions
on the same day.

And you don't have any animals
that might grab

the hat
off the doll and...

- No animals.
- ...walk away with it?

No animals.

So I was talking to your wife,

and I tell you, pretty upsetting
what she's going through.

I mean, how are you dealing
with that?

I feel totally helpless.

She can be cheery one minute,

and then she spends
some time being depressed.

If Amy says to leave,
what are you gonna do?

We're gonna get out.

For the safety of my family,
we will do that.

Okay.

I feel very, very anxious, like
really stressed out back here.

I'm seeing this crying man.

You know, he's just, like,
freaking out.

Really, like, super high energy
anxious dude.

The crying man is back here.

I think that the living

would experience

his extreme anxiety,

his emotional state.

I also think they
would hear him.

He's very loud.

He's very physical.

So movement of objectives.

It's not found in the same spot,

which may cause them
to second-guess themselves.

I think
it would make you crazy.

I'm feeling death right now.

This place is so small,

it makes the middle
of nowhere seem exciting.

So I made my usual calls

and just heard back
from the county sheriff.

Now, he knows all about Steve
and Christy's property

and says the land used to be
owned by another sheriff,

that is until he lost everything
during an arrest gone bad.

Now, you mentioned on the phone
that one of the owners

of my clients' land
was also a sheriff.

Yes, sir. His name was
Walter Hollingsworth.

He's very well-liked
within the town

You know, they describe him
as a tall man

with a lot of nervous energy.

In 1908, he married his wife,

Birdie, and the two
of them of them

eventually had five kids.

Okay, so now, before he comes
the sheriff,

was he a deputy
or anything like that?
No, sir.

Sheriff Hollingsworth was
a really religious guy.

He was known as a preacher.

Sheriff Hollingsworth decided
to run for sheriff in 1914.

He believed that he could do
more good

as a lawman than a preacher.

So now, you mentioned
on the phone

that things went pretty bad
for him

when an arrest went wrong.

What happened?

I'm sure, Steve,
when you was driving in,

you noticed close
to your clients' property

that there was a woman's
prison out there.

Used to be a boy's
reformatory school.

Okay.

In 1931, there was a subject
in the jail

that was very mentally
unstable.

Well, Sheriff Hollingsworth
went back to try to subdue him,

and during the fight,

the jail doctor came to try
to help Sheriff Hollingsworth,

and he swung a metal pipe
trying to hit the offender

and wound up striking

Sheriff Hollingsworth
in the head.

All right.

So he gets hit with friendly
fire from a steel pipe?

Absolutely, and the injuries
were brutal.

- Does he die on the scene?
- No.

He actually goes to
a sanitarium in Waco,

but with all
the brain swelling,

he had to have
a portion of it removed.

All right.
So what happened?

He continued on as sheriff,
and in 1933,

he bought
your clients' property.

Okay. All right.

But within a year,

he d*ed due to the complication
from his injury.

I'm seeing
this crying man again.

He's really stressed out.

I do think, like, he was,
like, really religious.

I think he's got, like,
I'm thinking

it's the Bible with him.

God. I feel sick.!

He's super anxious,
really, like,

super high-energy anxious dude.

He said the economy
was really bad.-

So he was m*rder*d.

But I don't know where.

All right, so now, he's dead,

and he's got a wife
and, what, five kids?

- Yes.
- So what happened with them?

Birdie, his wife, actually was
appointed sheriff

and completed his term.

Female sheriff?

The first and only female
sheriff here in Coryell County.

- Okay.
- Unfortunately, money was tight.

Right.
You know, being in the middle
of the Great Depression,

she had to relinquish
that property.

She wound up dying nearby
in 1953 at the age of 68,

and that's a photo of her.

She don't look too happy?

No, she looks pretty hurt.

So there is
a dead woman here.

She lived here for a long time.

I feel like she knows
this place.

You know what I'm saying?

And I probably say
she's probably, like,

late 70s, early 80s?

Like, I almost want to put her
in the '40s or '50s, maybe.

She's saying the guy with
the Bible outside comes inside.

She said, "He bothers them.
He bothers them a lot."

And she's like, "He will stand
there all night and just

****, like, preach."

That freaks out
the living people here.

They're hearing him talking,

and they're feeling his energy.

They're freaking out
because he overwhelms them.

He overwhelms them.

So here's an interesting fact
about this city.

About 15,000 people live here,

and more than half of them
are locked up.

Now, Christy was a guard
at that big prison

down the street from her house,
so I called a local author

who said it used to be
a boy's reformatory,

and what went on there
was so shocking,

it will definitely
help my case.

Well, Dr. Bush, thanks
for meeting me here.

I appreciate that.

Before we get to what went wrong
at the school,

how did it even start?

It opened because of a group
of Christian women reformers

who had been visiting
all of the prisons in Texas

to check on
the conditions there,

and they discovered
all of these teenage boys

in the prisons
with the adult prisoners,

so in 1889,
68 boys were transferred out of

the Texas prisons
into Gatesville,

and I have a picture
of it right here

to give you a sense
of what it looked like.

When did it go bad?

It started going bad pretty much
right from the beginning --

a lot of fighting,
a lot of v*olence,

definitely reports
of inmate r*pe.

What were their living
conditions like?

They had these sort of
mass-custody dorms.

I've got a picture
of one of them here.

You can see it's just rows
and rows of beds.

It's almost like
a hospital ward.

So there's a lot of
overcrowding there.

It was really unsanitary,

so you had disease epidemics
break out.

In 1918 when
the Spanish Flu epidemic

swept the United States,
300 boys in Gatesville

caught it,
and eight of them d*ed.

Another eight d*ed
in accidents,

other sicknesses
that could've been prevented

if conditions had been better.

What happens to their bodies?
Their family take them?

There was actually a cemetery

that still exists
on the grounds today.

So I know it eventually
closed down,

and now, it's a women's prison,
from what I understand.

In '79, it shut down,
and the very next year in 1980,

it reopened
as a women's prison.

There's, like, all of these
very old brown skeletons.

They just are to the side of,
like, this path,

and I see a hundred men
facing the road,

and all of them turn
at the same time.

They're all men.

They're all male,
and they're pointing,

and what they're pointing at
is where the church should be,

and all of a sudden,
all these walls come up,

like these cement walls,

and then I feel like it
was a trick,

and I got duped,
and I'm trapped.

The snake, that thing, that man,
it's causing v*olence.

Any negative things
that living have done here

was because of him.

Since the reformatory
closed in 1979,

there have got to be
some people in town

who used to be inmates there.

So I worked the phones, talked
to a bunch of the locals,

and I finally got in touch
with one guy

who says the experience
was so horrible,

he's never gotten over it.

Obviously, this school
was a big deal

to have a whole wing
to it in this museum.

I don't mean to pry, but I need
to know if you can tell me.

How the hell did you wind
up in here?

Truancy, believe it or not.

All right.
So let me get this straight.

You wound up in prison
because you didn't go to school?

You skipped out of school?

I mean would've been in jail
at 11.

What year did you get
sentenced here?
1975.

I was 15.

I just spoke to a professor
who told me

that the conditions
were barbaric there.

What was it like
when you were there?

You could've called it
a gladiator farm.

In order to have any kind
of respect

with any of the kids there, you
had to stand up for yourself.

Otherwise, you would be
eaten alive.

And it's not something
you get out of your head.

No. I still think about that.

Did you ever attempt
to get out of this place?

More times than
I can probably count.

Okay, when you escaped,
what was it like?

Somewhere between terrifying
and exhilarating.

Your heart is racing
100 miles an hour.

The horsemen, we heard them
as they were approaching

because you could hear them
talking on their walkie-talkies.

You could hear the dogs baying,
absolutely terrifying.

It's the run for your life,

and you knew that
if they caught you

that you were going to take
a pretty hardcore b*ating

or get k*lled.

So, obviously,
you got picked up.
Yes.

Unfortunately, the Coryell
County Sheriff's Department,

the state guys, they were
all on top of us like crazy.

So do you know of anyone
personally

that didn't make it back
from one of these escapes?

There was a kid on our dorm
that didn't make it back.

I believe it happened
to a lot of kids.

I believe some of them
are still on the grounds.

I really do.

Do you think you ever got
over your time here?

No, probably not.

It took me a long time
to get to where

I didn't sleep
with one eye open.

I think it's haunted a lot of
people, and it still haunts me.

I saw a lot of disturbing things
during my walk,

but the snakelike creature
tormenting the living

has me the most concerned.

It was
this gray nonhuman thing.

He had, like, pin-straight hair,
like, an abnormally thin neck,

leaning over a person in a bed,
and he turned into a snake.

I would make that
a little bit wider...

- Wider?
- Yeah.

...and not too much
nostril here.
Okay.

Amy, is this what you saw?

Yes.

Now that Amy and I have
completed our investigations,

we're ready to reveal
our findings to each other

and our clients
for the first time.

So, Amy, this is Christy,
and this is her husband, Steve.

They live here together,
and this is Tiffany,

Christy's daughter.

Now, I got to tell you.
Christy's story broke my heart.

She believes whatever here
is evil

and hates women and children,
and that's a huge problem

because Christy has four
beautiful grandchildren.

Now, these kids visit a lot,

so she's hoping you can show her
what's here

and how to kick it out.

So now that Amy knows a little
bit about you guys,

she'll tell us about her walk.

There's an extreme amount
of negative energy

here in this area.

I was feeling multiple deaths
that had occurred,

very violent deaths
that were nearby.

I was shown a lot of really
old bones,

and they were all scattered.

The next thing was,

I saw about a hundred people.

They were pointing towards
what should be a church,

but it was in ruins.

Then these large cement walls

just came up on all four sides
and just blocked me in.

A lot of what you mentioned
makes me think of the prison

right down the road from here.

Now, Christy, actually,
you worked there, right?

So these days, it's a maximum
security women's prison.

Really?

But back in the day, it was
a boy's reformatory school.

Interesting.

Now, you mentioned
that you saw a church.

It was started in the late 1800s
by a woman's Christian group.

The goal of this whole thing
was to help

troubled kids
turn their lives around.

Instead, it turned
into a nightmare.

They were abused, beaten,
r*ped, tortured.

How could anyone do that
to children?

Conditions were so bad there,
16 kids d*ed in a 20-year period

from 1900 to 1920.

The kids were buried
right on the grounds

just down the street from here.

Cemetery's still there today.

Now, the abuse
went on for years.

Finally, the Feds came in,
and in 1979, they shut it down.

I heard stories,
and I didn't know what was true

and what wasn't true.

Okay. So what else?

One of the dead people
that I ran into

was a deceased little girl.

I was guessing her age
at about 8 years.

Living people in this house
might see her.

That's interesting.

Tiffany, did you tell me about
having a dream of a little girl?

I did.

She had long blonde hair.

I didn't see what she was
wearing or anything,

but she did
have solid black eyes.

Interesting.

She spends a lot of time
in the master bedroom.

She also was showing me
that she would get into bed

and crawl kind of
to the bottom of the bed

and curl up like
a little dog.

I was laying in bed,

and I felt like something
was definitely in the bed.

The next dead person I ran into
was just freaking out,

so I call him the crying man.

He has a very big impact

on the living in this house.

He has extremely high anxiety.

He can easily affect the living
and their emotions

when they're around him,

so that could swing
from extreme stress and anxiety

to extreme depression,

possibly even the need
to cry unexpectedly.

I go from crying to large
bouts of depression,

sadness, anxiety,
and there's lots of anger,

constant roller coaster
of emotions.

So, Tiffany, when you're here,
do you feel that?
Yes.

I feel sad and especially
in the back room.

Now, you used to live back
in that room?
Yes, I did.

He talks a lot,

so I thought that maybe
the living here would hear him.

Tell Amy what happened.

I was sitting out on the porch
one night,

and it sounded like a man
cleared his voice,

got my attention.

I got a flashlight, and I drove
around the property, nothing.

I was in that back room,

and I was getting ready
to go to bed.

I had just laid down,
and out of nowhere,

I heard my name
whispered in my ear,

and it was a man's voice.

Okay. Okay.

So any idea who this guy
might've been when he was alive?

So he was white.

I believe he owned
this property at some point.

He was extremely religious,
and he just said, you know,

"The economy was horrible.

Everything was really bad.
We lost it all."

I think I might know
who she's talking about.

Back in the 1930s,
this property was owned

by a former sheriff
of the county.

His name was
Walter Hollingsworth.

He was extremely,
extremely religious.

Before he was a sheriff,
he was a preacher.

Wow. Okay.

I also tracked down a photo
of Hollingsworth

when he first got the job
as the sheriff.

Now, in 1931, his life changed.

An inmate was going nuts
in the jail,

and Hollingsworth tackled him
to get him to calm down.

The jail doctor
grabs a lead pipe.

He tried hitting the convict
with that lead pipe,

but he wound up
hitting the sheriff.

He was in the hospital
a long time

and even had part
of his brain removed.

****.

- No.
- My god.

Now, he d*ed three years
later in 1934

due to complications from
that injury at the age of 60.
Okay.

After that accident, his wife,
Birdie, took over as sheriff.

I actually have
a picture of her.

But by 1935,
she was completely broke

and had to give up
the property.

She ended up dying in 1953
at the age of 68.

She was penniless.

So this kind of brings me
to what I think

is the biggest problem here.

It was showing itself as, like,

a huge snake like a king cobra.

It seemed to me like this thing
had really never been human

and was ancient,

and it has a very big effect

on living people.

It can cause accidents,
and it can get physical.

My god.

He's coming up my legs, and I
am not gonna let him do that.

Get off my **** legs,
like, like, right now.

It seeps into your body.

Ice-cold.

I was laying there one night

and a cold hand
touched my thigh,

and it worked its way
down to my calf.

Yeah, it was cold.

I didn't know that was
happening to her.

I did have a sketch done.

Wow.

Wow.

I'm pissed off.

I'm very upset

that it's doing
that to my mother.

I was sitting on the bed and had
that other door shut,

and then I heard wings
flapping toward my bedroom,

and it flew into the door
and pushed me on the bed,

and the force held me
on the he bed so hard,

it was hard to breathe,

and I could actually feel
my eyes rolling back in my head,

and I couldn't talk.

Now, does any of that
what she's saying

make any sense to you?

Yeah.

You know, it's kind of hard
to see what this thing

really looks
like from this sketch.

Did you get a better look
at this thing?

I had its face sketched.

The face, okay.

My god.

Wow.

It looks pure evil.

This thing can make people have,

you know,
extremely bizarre thoughts,

hallucinations, acting out,

bizarre behaviors,
all of that.

The stuff that happened
at the boy's reformatory,

the sheriff getting hit
and stuff like that,

could that have been
caused by this thing?
Yes.

Any v*olence that goes on in
and around here

is caused directly by this,
by this thing.

What the hell does this thing
want from these guys?

Its ultimate goal is
to make people zombies,

and it does this by planting
seeds in the living.

It'll influence them
to do things

that they wouldn't normally do.

My god.

I'm scared to leave her
at home by herself now

that I know what's going on.

What the hell is this thing?

Well, like a demon-devil.

You know,
this is true **** evil.

I knew it wasn't good,

but I would've
never expected this bad.

This is even worse than
I what I had in my mind.

I'm sorry. I need a minute.

So, Christy, I've done
over 150 of these cases,

and I can't tell you
how many people think they know

what's going on
in their own home.

Unfortunately, in this case,
you were right on the money,

so now we're gonna
answer the big question.

Can you stay and fight it
like you want to,

or do you need to pack up
and get out?

For that answer, I'm gonna
turn it over to Amy.

So this thing has done damage

for a very long time,

and Christy,
his plan for you

is to just get rid of you,
k*ll you off.

Steve, he says
he can control you.

He's behind you, beside you.

He wants all of you
and that he's almost there.

For you, Tiffany,

he said he enjoys you

and that you're next,
that he'll come for you,

and there is a small seed
already inside of your body.

- My god.
- No, no.

So how do we stop it,
or can we stop it?

Okay.
So here's the thing, Tiffany.

The seed and the attachment
need to be removed

by a Native American shaman

and that once this is done,
you can never return here.

Steve,
you need a purification

and blessing ceremony.

You can never return after.

And then, Christy,

you definitely need to move
as soon as possible.

I'm sorry.
I'm really sorry.

You okay, Tiff?

I'm scared. I'm upset.

I'm...I don't know
what to feel right now.

So if they do all of this,

will they eventually get back
to being a normal family?

Yes.

I get my mom back,
and if she has to move...

- We'll start over elsewhere.
- Okay.

You promise me you're gonna
listen to what she said?

- Exactly.
-100%.

- That's a promise.
- I understand.

It's gonna happen.
It's gonna happen.

Okay.

My mom means everything to me,
so I appreciate y'all.

It's never easy telling a family
to leave their home,

but in a situation as dangerous
as this, it's their only option.

Hopefully, they take my advice,
leave this demon behind

and get a fresh
start someplace new.

Hi, our house is under contract
to sell.

We have followed Amy's advice,

and we're looking forward
to moving into a new home

and having our grandkids
come stay with us again,

so we're just hoping
for a new beginning

and to be able to start over.
