Here you are.

Thank you, gilligan.

Now step aside, please.

Wow!

Gilligan, not now.

Wait till after I throw the strike,

Then you can say wow.

I was sayin' wow about the storm. Yes.

[Thunder]

Wow!

There, you said it yourself.

We'd better get inside!

Gilligan, not now!

[Pins fall over] oh, no!

Gilligan, little buddy!

Gilligan, little buddy!

Oh, my goodness!

Don't move a muscle, gilligan.

I'll get the professor

And I'll be right back!

Oh, gilligan, you're all right!

What happened?

Well, you got hit by lightning!

I did?

You sure did! You were knocked

Feet into the bowling pins!

Did I knock 'em all down?

He sounds normal.

Gilligan, I think we've had enough bowling for today.

Put the ball down, and let's go.

It's stuck. It... The ball won't let go of my hand.

Gilligan, it might help if you let go of the ball!

Gilligan!

[Groans] eh--uh--e--uu--

Yes.

Well...

The rock has a high content of iron ore.

Now somehow, the lightning created a magnetic field,

Thereby causing a molecular attraction

Between the metal in the rock and gilligan's hand.

That can't be, professor.

To be magnetized, gilligan's hand

Would have to be made of metal.

Eh--eh--e-uuu--

Well, you see, skipper?

There's your answer.

Apparently, gilligan's body

Absorbed enough electricity from the lightning

To have crystallized certain metallic elements.

I sure wish I took that language in school.

All I took was english.

Well, the point, gilligan, is that

Your body contains a great many metals.

You mean if I drink water, I'll rust?

No, of course not, gilligan.

Well, does it mean I'm gonna be stuck

With this stone... Forever?

Oh, no.

Everybody look happy, now. Here he comes!

All right. Try to ignore the rock.

Be nonchalant.

[Whistling]

Hi, gilligan.

Hi, gilligan! Hi.

Sorry. I keep forgetting about the rock on my hand.

What rock? This one.

I don't see any rock.

Do you see a rock, mary ann?

No. If you had a rock on your hand,

I'd certainly see it, gilligan.

Thanks, girls. I mean--but you don't have to pretend.

The professor's working on something

That'll get this thing right off.

I'm not worried... Much.

Oh, gilligan, that's one of the bravest things

I've ever heard.

If not the bravest.

I'm going to give you a big kiss for that.

Me, too.

Oh, no, don't touch me! There's something you don't know!

M-m-m! M-m-m!

Ooh. No shock.

There you are, gilligan, my boy. Just, just relax.

How can I relax with this thing in my hand?

Well, mrs. Howell relaxes

When she wears her diamond ring,

And it's only a few carats smaller.

There you are now. Don't go bye-bye.

Gilligan's ready.

Oh, good!

Do you think it'll work?

Thurston, I didn't lie there

Just wasting your money.

I learned a great deal on the analyst's couch.

Now, gilligan, don't you worry about a thing.

We'll have that silly stone off your hand in a jiffy.

That's wonderful.

You know, the only reason you can't get rid of that rock

Is because you were so scared by that dreadful lightning.

The rock is only in your mind.

No, it's not.

It's right on my hand, see?

In a few moments, it'll slip off your finger.

What do I have to do?

Nothing. That's the whole point.

Absolutely nothing.

I'm very good at that.

Just close your eyes.

I'm even better at that!

Just relax.

Relax your arms...

Relax your hands...

Relax your fingers.

Relax completely.

Relax, relax.

The rock will slip off your finger.

Let it drop...

Let it drop...

Oh! Eee! Ho!

He let it drop!

Good, good, good, gilligan!

You're free of that dreadful rock!

Oh, great, mrs. Howell--

Skipper: ooh!

Skipper, did I do that?

No, gilligan.

I just felt like wearing the door tonight.

Wow. This arm is sure getting a muscle.

Pretty soon my right side'll be able

To b*at up my left side.

Gilligan, look, you've had a hard, rough day.

Why don't you get in your hammock

And have a good night's sleep?

Ok, skipper.

Here, gilligan.

I'll help you.

I'll pick you up and--

Ee--ee--ee--ee--

Gilligan, little buddy...

I'm sorry. I--i was trying to help you.

That's ok, skipper.

I didn't mean to hurt you.

It's not your fault. It's this darn rock.

I know. That darn rock!

Let's try using the chair!

There you are.

Ee--ee!

There. Now try and forget all about the rock.

I'm sure the professor'll think of something!

'Cause last time I saw him,

He had just found something in his chemistry book

About discharging an electrical something or other.

There was a lot of technical lingo,

But it sure sounded like he had the key to the situation.

[Gilligan snores]

Aw...little guy's asleep already.

[Zzz]

Oof!

Gilligan!

Gilligan!

Gilligan!

Oof!

[Both snoring]

Careful, ginger. Remember, I'm a live wire.

Oh, that's all right. I'm insulated.

The professor let me borrow his rubber gloves.

Now...

Open your mouth like a good little gilligan.

All gone!

You know, ginger, you remind me of my mother

When I was a little boy.

Aw, that's very sweet of you to say that.

You can consider me your mother away from home.

I can? Well, gee, ging--

Sure. Just call me mom.

Ok, mom. Would you mind very...

Otherwise, I eat too fast.

I'd be happy to.

Ok.

Once upon a time,

There was a wicked, wicked witch,

And she lived in a big castle

In a very dark forest.

And one day, along came a tall, handsome movie star.

All right, skipper, pedal faster.

All right, professor. Faster.

Faster.

It worked!

It worked! I'm ready for gilligan!

Oh, I'll go get him!

That--that's wonderful, professor!

Gilligan!

I'm over here.

Oh, gilligan!

The professor's invented something that he thinks

Will cure whatever you think you've got!

He has? He did? That's great.

Would you help me, mary ann? Sure, how?

Well, the skipper made this little wheelbarrow

To carry the ball, and...

Would you mind driving for a while if you don't mind?

Of course not.

The bicycle and the generator

Will provide a mild electric charge

Which should counteract the negative ions

Which have caused the rock to be magnetized to your hand.

When we tried it before,

The rock completely fell apart.

Maybe we'd better do it later, huh?

No, skipper, let's do it now.

I wanna get it off right now.

All right, gilligan. What do I do?

Put your hand up on that pedestal.

Not that hand, gilligan! The other hand!

Now, mary ann, when I tell you,

You touch the rock with that electrode.

Right.

Skipper, you can start peddling now.

Will it hurt much?

Oh, I don't think you'll feel a thing.

All right, mary ann, let's try it.

Pedal faster, skipper.

Wow. That was a close one!

Skip--

Oh...tht one was really close!

Skipper, are you all right?

Yeah.

Mary ann? Mary ann!

Are you all right?

I'm all right, I think.

Look!

The rock is off gilligan's hand!

Gilligan!

Gilligan, where are you?

Skipper!

Mary ann: he's there!

Where? Under there!

Hang on, gilligan!

We'll get ya outta here!

It'll just take a second.

Gilligan?

Gilligan: hey, the rock's off my hand.

Well, sure does feel good to be myself again.

You were right, professor. I didn't feel a thing.

Where are you?

Standing right here. Can't you see me?

No!

Well, the lightning must have affected your eyes.

Well, I can see the skipper and mary ann.

And I can see the professor and mary ann.

Well, I can see the skipper and the professor.

Yeah, and I can see the professor,

And I can see the ski--

And you can't... See...me...

That must mean...

Gilligan...

You're invisible!

Gilligan?

Over here, skipper.

Where's over here?

I'm sitting in the chair.

Oh.

I brought you the mirror.

Thanks.

Boy...i'm invisible, all right.

Either that, or I've lost a lotta weight.

Skipper, I'm scared.

There's nothing to be scared about, little buddy.

I'm sure the professor will figure out something.

I'll see if he needs anything.

[Low voice] find anything that'll help?

[Softly] afraid not.

Frankly, skipper, I'm stumped.

Gilligan appears to be perfectly normal in every respect

Except that he's invisible.

You mean there's nothing wrong?

Well, his pulse was a little rapid.

Gilligan, softly: it was?

Gilligan, are you with us?

Uh-huh.

Well, what do you mean

Sneaking up like that?

I didn't sneak up. I walked right over here.

Look, when you're invisible,

It's just as good as sneaking!

I'm sorry, skipper. I'll go back and sit down.

Uh, wait a minute. Gilligan...

I want to check your pulse again.

Ok.

I think I'd rather have you over here at the table.

Oh, watch your elbow, gilligan.

Sorry, skipper.

All right, gilligan...

[Laughing]

You're tickling me, professor.

That's my ribs!

Here, I'll put my wrist in your hand.

Ah.

Well?

Well...pulse is a little rapid.

Professor, you gotta do something.

I know I'm not handsome or anything,

But at least when I looked in the mirror,

There was somebody looking back!

Gilligan, i... I just don't have

The slightest idea what to do.

I mean, I know you wouldn't want me

To lie to you.

Lie to me, professor! Lie to me!

There, there, little buddy.

Gilligan?

Gilligan!

He could be asleep, and I wouldn't even know it.

I don't know if he sleeps with his head at this end, or...

That end.

Tch. He isn't even in the hammock.

Looking for me, mary ann?

Hi, gilligan.

Where are you?

How do you feel?

All right, I guess.

I'm glad you feel all right...

Wherever you are.

I'm over here.

Where's here?

Gilligan, I made you your favorite drink--

It's got banana and papaya

And coconut.

[Slurping]

Well, you certainly made that disappear.

I'm sorry, gilligan.

Gilligan: if you don't mind, ginger,

I'll wait for the professor to come back.

Oh, don't be silly.

The professor asked me to do these tests.

Now open your mouth and say ahh.

Ahh.

Where is it?

Where's what?

Your mouth.

Right under my nose.

Sorry, ginger. I know you're just trying to help.

Ahh...a little higher. Ahh...

A little higher. Ow! That's my forehead!

Ahh...a little to the left. Ahh...

Wait a min-- wait a minute, ginger.

Now, you see where I bit the pear?

That's where my mouth is.

Open your mouth and say ahh again.

Ahh...

[Gags]

There. There! That's good.

What'd you see?

Nothing. But the professor told me

To write everything down.

He asked me to check your reflexes, too.

Cross your legs.

They are crossed.

Where are they?

Right here. See?

Ah.

Oh, that's good!

I think.

Gilligan! Where are you?

Where are you?

Oh!

I think he's over there, dear.

Gilligan! Gilligan.

That is you, isn't it?

If it isn't, we'd better run for our lives.

Uh g-gilligan!

Ow! You stepped on my foot!

Ooh! Oh, I'm sorry!

That is you, isn't it?

Yes, mr. Howell.

Well, why didn't you answer?

I wanted to be alone.

I know just how you feel, gilligan.

I often wish I was alone--

Especially when I'm by myself.

Mr. And mrs. Howell!

Mr. And mrs. Howell, have you seen gilligan?

I--i don't mean seen, I mean--

Well, you know what I'm talking about.

I'm right here, skipper.

Where? Well, it doesn't matter.

Come on with me,

'Cause I think the professor's found a cure!

Well, wait for me!

Oof!

Gilligan, will you get going?

Tell me again, professor. What's this supposed to do?

Well, I've impregnated these strips of cloth with lead ore--

Gilligan: or what?

Gilligan.

And if you're giving off negative charges,

Why, these will absorb the electrical impulses,

And you'll be visible again!

Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy!

Gilligan, would you just hold it now

And let him finish with this lead cloth.

You just trust me, gilligan.

What I'm doing won't hurt.

Professor, he doesn't--

Skipper, let's take a look.

[Low voice] say something positive to him.

How do I look?

You look fine, gilligan.

How does it feel?

Well...it's kind of heavy.

Gilligan...i don't think you're ready to go out yet.

Why not?

You've got no bottom.

[Sobbing]

Easy now, little buddy.

Don't take big steps. That's right.

Here we go. Hey, now you're gettin' it.

You go over to the hut and lie down,

And I'll be there in a minute!

All right, skipper.

Poor gilligan. The way he's been feeling,

I hope he makes it to dinner tonight.

Oh, I hope so, too, but how can we tell?

That's true, too.

Hi!

[Gasps] aah!

Ginger, stop, I'm caught in your com-om-om-omb--

Aah!

And I had no idea that the comb got stuck in the strips of cloth.

I didn't even know it was gilligan

Until it came off and there was no one there.

You know, that lead cloth might have helped him.

We're gonna have to wrap him up again.

Oh, let me put the strips back on.

I'm awfully good at wrapping things.

Lovey does a wonderful job.

One year, it took me until may

To unwrap one of her christmas gifts.

Listen, everybody. I got a note from gilligan.

A note?

What did the note say, skipper?

"Dear everyone,

"I'm sorry I've caused so much trouble.

"I didn't mean to.

"I'm moving to the other side of the island

"So you won't have to worry about bumping into me

"Or stepping on me or anything.

Your friend, gilligan."

Oh, little buddy, you weren't that much trouble.

Why would he do a foolish thing like that?

I don't know, but let's not sit here.

Let's go look for him!

Well, how can we look for him if we can't see him?

Well, when we find someone who isn't there,

We'll know we've got him.

I know. I'll offer $ ,

For any information about his whereabouts.

Why, that's an insult, mr. Howell!

We love gilligan! You don't have to offer us any money!

Well, I wasn't thinking of you.

I thought gilligan might hear and turn himself in.

I wonder if gilligan knows how much we all really love him.

Oh...if you'll all please excuse me...

Gilligan, is that you?

Why, it must be gilligan.

You mean to say you've been sitting there

All this time listening to us?

Sure sounded good, skipper.

You say you sat there and listened

To all those nice things that we said about you?

Yep, you just finished saying how all of you loved me.

Well, that was before I knew you were listening!

Missed me.

Ha ha. Missed me again!

Oop. Missed me again.

I don't know why I'm running away. You can't see me.

Besides, I'm not even frightened of you,

Even if you are bigger...and fatter.

Fat, am i?

I see him! I see gilligan!

No, you can't. I--

Yes, you can.

Well, that cloth must have been on long enough to work!

Hi, skipper.
