05x05 - The Hazzardgate Tape

Post by bunniefuu »

When Coy and Vance get a
sh*t pickin up some chore money...

well, they grabbed it.

Jobs in Hazzard are scarcer than

a chicken with a
mouth full of molars.

This is Lost Sheep to Shepherd.
Lost Sheep to Shepherd.

'Uncle Jesse, this is
Vance. Come back?'

- This is Shepherd. Come back.
- 'We're turning for home.'

Tell Daisy to light
all four burners.

We're hungrier than
foxes in a hen house.

Well, there's food
here, but remember

there's chores to do here too.

Even though we
don't pay top dollar.

Any price for you,
Uncle Jesse. We're gone.

'Enos, you gotta get your
quota of tickets, and I mean now.'

Sheriff, it ain't right for me
to be trying to trap somebody.

That's cheating.

Enos, it's not cheating if
they're breaking the law.

'Now, didn't I just
hear something go by?'

It's the Duke boys, sheriff.
Hey, Coy. Hey, Vance.

That's good news, good
news. And they were speeding.

- Now I want you to arrest them.
- They were? How can you tell?

Enos, never
mind. You just do it.

'I'll be over to the
boss' house. I'm gone.'

Yes, sir, sheriff.

It's Enos.

- We can't miss Daisy's lunch?
- No way.

Don't nothing inspire a Duke
to move like an empty belly.

That's farmer Silas Pew.

When this day was over...

old Enos was restacking crates

for Silas till after supper.

Lost him.

What do you think about that?

I say we ain't only
gonna be late for lunch

we may even miss dinner.

You wouldn't think
a car that could do

what the General
could would get stuck.

And while Coy and Vance looked

to free up the General...

and Enos was looking
for Coy and Vance...

Y'all better not
run from me, now.

Boss Hogg was looking
into some very angry faces...

of bosses of the
adjoining counties.

Like Boss Bowman
of Choctaw County...

Boss Hopkins of Hatachapee...

and Boss Sharkey
of Yreka County.

The rest of us are
getting crowded, Hogg.

We need more room to operate.

Since that new state
highway come in...

hijacking in my
county is off percent.

- My take is way off too.
- And mine.

I sure am sorry to
hear that, gentlemen.

But just what exactly does
all this have to do with me?

That new state highway
goes through your territory...

and bypasses
ours, knocking us out

of a big chunk of our action.

Oh, it does? My, oh,
my. Ain't that a shame.

You're being a hog, Hogg.
Just like with them vittles.

- We want a new deal.
- Oh, you do?

- We do.
- We do.

You give us a piece of
your Hazzard county action...

and we'll all be
even-steven again.

Yeah? Well, it'll be
a cold day in July

before I give up a
cut of my county.

- You tell them, Boss.
- I'm telling them.

He's telling you.

Anybody tries to muscle
in on my territory...

is gonna have to do
it over my dead body.

This meeting's adjourned.

Now, friends, Boss just sassed
some mighty big heavyweights.

And we ain't talking about
what they did with a fork.

Rosco, don't ever
let me do that again.

Boss, listen. I never
thought Id' ever hear anybody

tell those three toughs off.

Yeah, well, I'm still shaking
inside like a bowl of jelly.

Are you kidding? Here, let
me help you stop shaking.

Would you get your
hands off of me, please?

- But I was good, wasn't I?
- You were great.

- I sure put them in their place.
- In their place.

Now, them three bosses
were mighty put out.

But not exactly surprised
at Boss Hogg's reaction.

They planned a meeting
amongst themselves...

just in case Boss
did what he did.

We'll take a shortcut
through the Hadley farm.

- We'll be home in minutes.
- You got it.

Vance, pull up.

That's a mighty fancy car to be
trespassing on condemned land.

- Got any idea who it belongs to?
- Nope.

Curious to find out?

I'm a Duke, ain't I?

Friends, if there's one
thing a Duke is, it's curious.

Now, what these fellers
are discussing right now

is Boss Hogg's future.

Which they seem
determined to shorten.

We asked Hogg real nice
to do right by us, didn't we?

- Right.
- Right.

- And he turned us down cold.
- Right.

'He's been running
that county too long.'

'So we gotta figure out a way'

'to arrange it to our benefit.'

Well, if he ain't gonna
listen to reason...

we got no choice but to
take over Hazzard ourselves.

Well, Hogg will never
stand still for that, Sharkey.

- Oh, boy.
- Who is it?

It's Boss Sharkey
of Yreka County.

Hogg won't be around to
stand still for it, Bowman.

Fact is, he won't be standing.

He'll be laying
down, six feet under.

- You alright, Coy?
- Yeah.

Any idea who them boys are?

Might be working
for Hogg, tailing us.

Don't worry. They won't live
long enough to tell if they did.

Norton, Janco, get them.

Poor old Silas.

It was a bad day in
Hazzard for stacking crops.

Oh, not again.

'Damn.'

They sure mean business.

Wonder why they
wanna do in Boss Hogg.

What about us?

I can't die. I got
a hot date tonight.

Lost Sheep to Shepherd.
Come in, Shepherd.

We got us a problem.

This is Shepherd.
Was that a g*nsh*t?

That's the problem, Uncle Jesse.

Well, Vance, real quick,
filled in Jesse and Daisy...

about him and Coy
hearing the plot to k*ll Boss.

And them, for
overhearing about it.

Where are you?

About two miles
from Wilton Corners.

Those turkeys chasing
us are sh**ting up a storm.

- You better call Rosco.
- No, we ain't got time for that.

We're on our way.

Coming up on Wilton Corners.

Uncle Jesse, can't
you go any faster?

There they are. Here's
where we play possum.

Where did that dumb
farmer come from?

- Are they getting mad.
- They're getting mad.

- Get around him.
- I can't.

- The road's too narrow.
- Run them off it.

What? Hang on to
something, Daisy.

Stop. They're running Uncle
Jesse and Daisy off the road.

That's it.

Dang. Now, I really
hate it when they leave

Jesse and Daisy in trouble.

That'll take care
of them for a while.

We taught our uncle
everything he knows.

That takes care of
that. Let's get on...

With them fellas left behind
spinning their wheels...

all the Dukes raced to
Hazzard to warn old Boss.

Now, ain't that a switch?

If them boys was
working for Hogg...

then what we're doing
here ain't no secret.

So you better get rid of
Hogg any way you can.

- And fast.
- Yes, sir.

Now, being Saturday,
the bank was closed.

So they figured Boss
would be at home.

Something tells me we
shouldn't come here again.

What are you Dukes
doing here on my property?

Now, just scat. Before I have
you hauled in for trespassing.

You gotta listen.
Your life's in danger.

It's true. Coy and me heard
Sharkey say something...

- putting you six feet under.
- Oh, Boss Sharkey.

Now I get it. Boss Sharkey has
got you Dukes working for him...

so that he can try to
scare me into giving in.

- You can just forget about it.
- J.D., J.D.

Start using your head for
something besides a hat rack?

Now, these boys are
telling you the truth.

They wouldn't lie about
something like life and death.

- Even yours.
- They risked their own lives...

- to come here and warn you.
- You know, that's good.

That's real good.

That's a great little act.

But it didn't work. Now,
will you just clear off.

Because I gotta get me some
warming up for my jogging.

The way old Boss
eats, he'll have to run

to Miami to work off breakfast.

Two, one, two, one...

- It's them guys we was chasing.
- And that old pickup.

They must have
warned Hogg. Get him.

Boss, look out.

- Are you okay?
- You're right.

You Dukes are right.
Somebody's trying to k*ll me.

- Save me.
- See? I told you.

Save me, save me. Help me.

Quick.

I'm stuck. I'm stuck.

I'm stuck.

You better cut down
on them potatoes.

g*dd*mn it.

Damn. Blast it, you...!

They're gonna sh**t
me. Do you hear?

- I'll probably get k*lled.
- Nobody's going to get k*lled.

That's easy for you to say.

Skinny boy like you, you
ain't such a big target as I am.

You call yourself a deputy?
You know what I call you?

- Dipstick?
- 'That's right.'

Ever since Cletus
went on vacation

you haven't written
one eeny-teeny...

little speeding ticket
in the last three days.

- All are good about obeying law.
- I don't wanna hear that.

I wanna hear a speeding ticket.

I want to hear the
clang of money...

Know what that is?

That's the General Lee,
and it's heading this way.

Right into a $
speeding ticket.

How can you tell the speed
just from the sound? I can't tell.

Because I'm your superior.

That's why I can
hear sounds like it.

Come on.

Would you come on?

I love it, I love it. Police
work's my life. Come on.

Dang it. First it was that
farmer, now it's the cops.

We got to hold off on hitting
Hogg till we get him alone.

We lost them. When they
saw Rosco and Enos...

they took off like
a big gooney bird.

Rosco? Did you
say Rosco and Enos?

- Where did they come from?
- Makes no never mind, Boss.

What counts is they finally
showed up at the right time.

Alright, Enos.

Get out that ticket
book and start writing.

- Two tickets.
- Two tickets?

- That's it.
- Who's the other one for?

For you, you dipstick.
For scuffing my vehicle.

You dip... Do it!

- Sheriff, it ain't hurt much.
- Will you hush?

Rocky road.

Alright, you two jokers. I
got you. I love it, I love it.

I've got you for speeding and
for scuffing two vehicles and...

- And for saving my life.
- Saving his...?

- Boss.
- Yeah.

It's something you
should have done.

If you'd have been where
you might have been.

Which you wasn't.
These Dukes were.

- I wasn't there.
- They were.

And while Boss was
bringing Rosco up to date...

Boss Sharkey was getting
filled in by his minions.

It's a cinch Hogg ain't
gonna go back home...

and wait for you to
try a second time.

He's gonna hole up somewhere.

Find the orange car
with the flag on top, boys.

And it will lead you to Hogg.

Coming out of
there is no picnic.

Don't you worry your
fat little bald head, Boss.

Enos and I is gonna take
you home. We'll protect you.

- Yes, siree. Count on us.
- Yeah?

Counting on you two
adds up to a big fat zero.

If you had a brain between
you, you'd know that my home

is the first place they
came looking for me.

Boss is right.

He needs a hideout till he
makes peace with those guys.

I need a hideout.

And I know the perfect place.

- Where's that?
- Your place. The Duke farm.

- Wrong again.
- No way, Boss.

You'll be asking Uncle and
Daisy to put their necks on the line.

See, Vance Duke. You gotta
take me with you. You saved my life.

Now it's your
responsibility. Ain't that true?

That's right. I saw it in
a picture show one time.

Besides, your Uncle
Jesse wants you to help me.

Because that's the way he
brought you up, didn't he?

You sure know all the
right words to say, Boss.

- We'll take you to the farm.
- Good, good.

I'll tell Daisy and
Uncle what's going on.

Come on, let's go.

- No. No, you don't. Don't.
- Get in there.

Coy reached Uncle Jesse
and Daisy over at Cooter's...

where the pickup
was getting first aid.

He told them about taking
Boss to the farm for safekeeping.

Jesse told the boys that
they was doing the right thing.

And before long, the Dukes
was home with their houseguest...

Boss Hogg. Plus
Enos and Rosco...

who were assigned as
Boss' personal bodyguards.

Rosco!

What are you doing
there? I'm over here.

We were taking five steps,
then you were... You took four...

- and might put me...
- Alright. Don't confuse me.

Come here. Come here.

All I know is that with you
in here, and Enos out there...

I need you to protect me.

And keep your bodies between
me and any men that Boss Sharkey...

decides to send here to get me.

- Got that? Alright.
- I got that.

- Stay close.
- Don't you worry about it.

You're snug as a
little fat bug in a rug.

- Let's turn.
- Turn, is it?

Meanwhile, the Dukes was
having their own family council.

The way I see it...

what we got here between J.D.
Hogg and them other fellows...

is an old-fashioned range w*r.

A lot of innocent people
in Hazzard could get hurt.

That's been the dumbest
part of any w*r, babe.

If there was a way to
get Sharkey and his men

to call off this mess.

Won't happen unless Boss
gives him most of Hazzard.

- He ain't gonna do that.
- There must be a way for Boss.

Bad as he is, he's an angel
compared to them others.

I never thought we'd
be in Boss' corner.

The only corner to be in, Coy

is when somebody's
life's at stake.

Trouble was, it wasn't
only Boss' life on the line.

It didn't take long
for them fellas...

to track down where
the General Lee lived.

We don't wanna miss this time.

We don't wanna leave any
witnesses behind neither.

What we gotta do is get
them all out of that house.

- How do you figure we do that?
- Why don't we smoke them out.

With this.

- Come on, let's have some lunch.
- Oh, lunch. Lunch.

- Come on.
- It'll take your mind off it.

- Would be good. Stay close.
- Here we go.

Daisy, all I want is a snack.
I'm too nervous to eat regular.

- Nothing fancy now.
- Okay.

Maybe a chicken or two.
But itty-bitty ones, of course.

- Make yourself at home, J.D.
- Thank you, Jesse.

Rosco, you stay
close to me, you hear?

Listen, Boss, you
can just relax...

because Sharkey and
his men can't get near you.

Not with Enos outside,
and me right next to you.

Oh, yeah? Sharkey can
get to anybody he wants.

While we're talking, he
could be digging a tunnel

under this house to get me.

And if that's too
much trouble...

he might just parachute
a man down on me.

Sure are letting your mind
get carried away with you, Boss.

Next thing you'll worry about
is the food will be poisoned.

Poison, poison, poison.

Yeah, it could be. It could be.

Maybe you Dukes are working
for Boss Sharkey after all.

J.D., have you gone
plum locoout of your mind?

Well, it could be,
anyhow. You know that?

Even if it ain't true...

Sharkey could've got to them
chickens before you got them.

Here, Rosco, you
taste it and see.

I ain't gonna eat
that. I ain't hungry.

- Taste it. I'm your superior.
- No, no.

- You feel queasy?
- You ought to be ashamed...

for thinking such
a thing about us.

I didn't know what
I was thinking.

But I'm sorry. May I have
the chicken back now?

J.D., can't you get it
through your mind...

that all we're trying to
do here is save your life?

'Now, we don't like
your ways none.'

But we'd sure rather have
you in Hazzard County...

than that Sharkey fellow.

Well, I understand, Jesse,
and believe me, I'm grateful.

And all I gotta say is, I
need some more chicken.

- And me too.
- No. You had your chance.

You should've ate it when
I thought it was poisoned.

-'What's that?'
-'Look over there.'

-'What is that smoke?'
-'Smoke b*mb. On the floor.'

They'll be coming. Get ready.

I can't see it.

Y'all wanna bet old Boss
tries to finish the chicken

before he leaves?

Freeze. Drop those g*ns.

Over here, Daisy.

Everybody stay together.

'I can't see.'

Are you okay?

Except for this clumsy
dipstick getting in my way...

and almost blowing my head,
and then trying to drown me.

Mr. Hogg, I wouldn't
let you drown.

I just passed my junior
lifesaving course last month.

Hey, those are the fellas
that tried to run us down.

Alright, Enos. Come on.

- Come on.
- Halt, halt.

'I said halt.'

'You ain't going no place.
You're staying here by me.'

You gotta protect me. Sharkey
may have other men around here.

Mr. Hogg, them fellas the
Duke boys are chasing...

- they got g*ns.
- They might sh**t somebody.

Yeah, maybe me!

Never mind them Duke boys.
I'm the one who pays you, ain't I?

Then you stay right here, and
you guard me with your bodies.

Come on. Into the
house. Into the house.

- Uncle Jesse, he can't do that.
- J.D., J.D.

Them boys saved your life.
Doesn't that mean anything?

Well, of course it does. I
don't want no one hurt today.

Including me
first, in that order.

Boss, you gotta be the most
selfish man in the whole world.

Well, sticks and stones can
break my bones, but names?

Uncle Jesse, we
gotta do something.

Easy, Daisy. Let's
just get on the CB...

and tell the boys that the
rats has done left the ship.

- Alright.
- Listen, those guys...

gonna break more than
your bones if you don't get in.

Come on.

Wait on me. I'm
your superior officer.

'Will you get in here?'

Rosco and Enos sure are taking
their sweet time backing us up.

Where the heck are they?

Shepherd to Lost Sheep,
you boys out there?

Uncle Jesse, what
happened to Rosco and Enos?

They're still here. And it looks
like they're gonna stay here.

'If they start sh**ting at you'

'you're up the creek
without a paddle.'

- What do you mean, "if"?
- Turn the General around.

There's a better way to save
Boss than us being targets.

- How's that?
- Hang a , you'll see.

Let them go. Them smokies
is probably right behind us...

and I don't wanna
mess with them.

Dang if you ain't right again,
cuz. They're leaving us be.

Now, let's head
back to the farm.

Rosco, is J.D. just
gonna stay in there for...

Okay, guys. What's the big idea

leaving Vance and me
to catch them dudes?

They could've
k*lled us, thank you.

It wasn't our fault.
We wanted to help...

Boys, J.D. made them stay here.

Boss, it's Rosco.
Come on out now.

It's just the Duke
boys that come in.

The Duke boys?

Don't tell me you let
Sharkey's men get away.

- Dang right, they got away.
- I told you not to tell me.

What am I gonna do now?
They won't stop until they k*ll me.

I think I got us a way to get...

Boss Sharkey and his
friends off your back for good.

- How?
- All you do is, get proof...

- of their illegal activities.
- Proof?

And then take it up to the
state police in Capitol City.

- State police?
- They'll arrest Sharkey's men.

And you? You'll live to be .

Boss Sharkey and his
friends will turn state's evidence

and squeal on me.

Not that I have
anything to hide...

- they could make up things.
- Yeah, yeah, you see...

Don't worry about proof, we
already got that hid anyway.

- Rosco.
- If we had anything to hide.

If you don't do something,
they're gonna k*ll you.

Alright. How are we
gonna get all this proof?

Vance's idea for
Boss to get the goods

on all the other bosses...

was slicker than
lard on a doorknob.

That's a wonderful idea.

You do this right for me,
boys, and I'll tell you what I'll do.

I'll drop your next three
tickets for moving violations.

- Three?
- No use looking at us, Boss.

Something you folks have
to work out on your own.

- That's right.
- Now, wait a minute.

You boys have
to help me on this.

I mean, Rosco, Enos here...

They don't know
about technical things.

Jesse, Jesse, please. Make
your boys do this thing for me.

Like you said before, you
sure don't want Boss Sharkey...

taking over Hazzard, do you?

Well, J.D.'s got a
point there, boys.

I guess we've
decided Boss Sharkey's

a lot worse than
our little Boss Hogg.

Thank you for them kind words,
Daisy. I think they was kind.

Alright, boys. What do you say?
You gonna help me save Hazzard?

Okay. You got it, Boss.

You better pick up that
phone and call Sharkey.

That's what I'll do.

Oh, Mabel.

So Boss put in a call from
the Duke farm to Boss Sharkey.

Come to your senses, Hogg.
Us bosses should stick together.

I'm profoundly sorry
that I was so abrupt...

with you good old
boys a little while ago.

'I hope that you'd
still be willing'

to discuss our differences...

say, over at my
house... in about an hour.

You got it, Hogg. I'll
pick up the others...

- and see you in an hour.
- Alright. Bye.

- He's coming.
- Oh, good.

Cut across to Hazzard
County and CB the others.

We gonna pick us up a scared
Hogg and a couple of Dukes.

Meanwhile, for
Vance's plan to work...

it meant a quick stop at
Otis Plunkett's TV store...

where they rented
and put it on Boss' bill.

After all, it was his hide
that they were trying to save.

Now, I ain't got any idea
what they got in mind...

or how it's gonna
work. If it does.

Which it might not, considering
the conditions what prevails.

All the Dukes was ready
according to a backup plan.

Which I don't
know nothing about.

'Shepherd, this here's
Lost Sheep. You in position?'

I'm here on Clear Creek
Road, waiting if you need me.

- How about you, Daisy?
- On Mill Road...

awaiting your
pleasure, if and when.

Here's hoping we
don't need either of you.

I'm sure glad you came
to your senses, Hogg.

This way, we can
all share in the wealth

'and nobody will get hurt.'

-'You agree?'
-Yeah, yeah, I sure do.

Especially with that part
about nobody getting hurt.

- Namely, you.
- Namely, me.

And say now, gentlemen.

In honor of this
friendly little armistice...

I'd like to drink a
friendly little toast...

with all my
friends, friendly-like

using some of my finest shine.

If you'll excuse me, I
gotta go out back to get it.

Did you see him?

So that's the plan. Vance is
gonna videotape the meeting...

hoping Boss Sharkey will say
something self-incriminating.

Let's just hope they spill
something incriminating.

We're all ears.

I can't hear through
that thing yet.

Did they say anything
yet? Did they? Did they?

Will you hush?

You're not supposed to say
anything. They'll hear you!

We sure scared
the pants off Hogg.

That was easier than I expected.

While Hogg is out...

let's get it straight
how we gonna

divvy up Hazzard County.

Like we decided...

I'm gonna take over
the hijacking operations

on the state highway.

I'm moving in my
stolen-car operation.

I'll be setting up a
moonshine operation.

Now, wait a minute...

Will you hush? They're
hanging themselves in there.

- You did it...
- And we're getting it all.

- Oh, goody.
- So we're agreed?

All that's left now is
for us to get rid of Hogg

and them Duke
boys... '...permanently.'

Where's Hogg?

He must be cooking
that shine to order.

Boss, get back in there, fast.

If you don't get back,
there's gonna be trouble.

You're right about that,
shamus. Big trouble.

Come on in and join
the meeting. All of you.

- Move!
- Yeah, I'm moving. I'm moving.

Yeah, sure. Whatever you say.

Alright. Let's go in.

- That's a pearl handle.
- Let it go.

They picked up everything
that was said in this room.

- You fellas ought to be ashamed.
- That's right.

'You're leaders of
your communities.'

You got a responsibility.

Shut up. Give me that tape.

What were you and your flunkies
planning on doing with this?

I just wanted a personal
memento of the occasion.

Let me guess.

Probably you was gonna
take it down to the state police

in Capitol City.

- He guessed it right off.
- Rosco, would you zip up?

No matter. As long as we
got you all here together...

we can take care of
you all here together.

Give me that sheriff's g*n.

- Freeze. That's right, there.
- I'll take this.

- Freeze it.
- Come on, Boss. Let's go.

Got us a date with
the state police.

Hold it right there. You're just
messing with Rosco P. Col...

Don't you frighten me.
Get up. You get over there.

- Where's the General Lee?
- In Hazzard Square.

- Hazzard Square?
- Start pumping, Boss.

Enos, Enos. Go on, get
in the house. Help Rosco.

Yes, sir.

Enos, what are you doing in
here? Just give me your cuffs.

We're gonna cuff these... I
love it. Police work's my life.

Alright. Just watch and
cover. Here, here. Get in here.

Enos.

- Dipstick, you dipstick.
- I'm sorry, sheriff.

Shut up, all of you.
Lock them in that closet.

You're supposed to say "bless
you" after a body sneezes.

Do you know who you're
pushing around here? I'm Rosco...

- It's dark in there.
- Where are you going?

Enos...

- Wait a minute. Sheriff.
- 'Alright, now.'

- I'm stuck, I'm stuck.
- Hold your stomach in.

We gotta get Hogg and them
Duke boys and that videotape.

There's an extra $ , a
piece for each of you if we do it.

Ten thousand dollars?
You can consider it done.

Let's go. There's only one road
they can take to Capitol City.

'Alright.'

There they go.
Cut cross-country.

We'll nail them about a mile up.

Relax, Boss. Rosco and the
boys got them locked up for good.

Well, I hope so. They
sure ain't behind us.

- Because they're in front of us.
- Where?

'Holy Hannah, they got away.'

I sure hope they don't both
turn in the same direction.

Can't you shake them or nothing?

It ain't easy. They got a
real souped-up engine.

And the General ain't used to
carrying this extra load, Boss.

Stop referring my stomach
when my life's in danger.

Ain't we done this before?

Y'all remember,
Jesse and Daisy...

were the reserves as part
of Vance's backup plan.

Uncle Jesse, Daisy. We're
on off Capitol City Road...

- with trouble on our
tail.-What kind of trouble?

Never mind. I just
heard it. I'm on my way.

Me too. We're on our way, honey.

This is all Rosco's fault...

for letting Sharkey and
his g*ng get away from him.

Rosco and Enos.

If Sharkey's cutthroats harm
one hair on their empty heads...

He'll have trouble replacing
them with somebody that simple.

As for Enos and Rosco, there
was nothing wrong with them...

that a little old closet
key wouldn't fix.

'Help!'

'Help!'

Enos, if the government
ever saw you like this...

they'd declare you a
dumb-guided m*ssile.

We'll collect some weapons
and then some criminals.

I love it. Police
work is my life.

If you would say
"bless you" again.

Smart kid. He ain't given
us a decent sh*t yet.

Give me that CB.

- Plowboys, you read me?
- Loud and clear.

We don't wanna k*ll nobody.

'All we want is that videotape.'

Now, you just toss it out your
window, and we'll be on our way.

No, no. Never. They're
lying. I tell you, they're lying.

They'll k*ll me anyway.
Don't do it, boys. Don't do it.

Sorry, but this here
tape's going straight

to the state police
in Capitol City.

Don't make book on it.

Stop getting them mad.

Meanwhile, Rosco and
Enos, Hazzard's finest...

was getting themselves
into the thick of things.

This here is
Rosco P. Coltrane...

calling on his little fat buddy.

Boss, you got your ears on?

Talk to him, talk to him.
Find out how Enos is.

Rosco, this here's Vance Duke.

Boss Hogg is with
us. How is Enos?

I'm just fine, Vance, thank you.

That's great, but we ain't. We
need all the help we can get.

Coming after us. We
need some of your help.

Well, Vance told
Rosco and Enos...

about Boss Sharkey's
boys sh**ting at him.

Enos and Rosco took the
first shortcut to catch up.

Y'all remember
Silas and his crates?

Well, Silas took a job
this morning carrying pipe.

Better go back to
the crates, Silas.

Meanwhile, the Dukes is
playing Keep-Away with the tape.

There's Uncle Jesse.

Take it easy, boy. We can't
afford to miss the connection.

Uncle Jesse, we're
coming at you.

They just handed the
tape off to the old man.

Turn around, after him.

That's right. You just come
along with your old Uncle Jesse.

This time the girl's
got it. Turn around.

Vance's plan was
to take the tape...

to the Justice
Department in Capitol City.

And Daisy was the last
leg in the relay to get it there.

Run, Daisy. Run.
I love that little girl.

- Taking aim at Daisy.
- Not if I can help it.

Now friends, that's slick.

Boss Sharkey and
his g*ng had some...

vigorous explaining
to do to the authorities.

Alright, Enos. Take him away.

J.D., don't say we
never did nothing.

I wanna thank you very
much. Thank you for everything.

Boss Hogg knew that he
had the Dukes to thank...

for saving Hazzard from a
fate worse than even him...

Hold it right
there, right there.

Just one pea-picking
minute there.

Rosco P. Coltrane. There
you go. Good. I love it, I love it.

There. Happy birthday to you.

What's this for?

That right there.
See that? See that?

That's a violation number .

And that promise that
Boss made the Duke boys...

about being entitled
to three ticket violations

for saving his hide...

Well, if you think they
got two more coming

well, you're wrong.

Boss never was one
to keep a promise.

Which brought
everything in Hazzard

back to how it's always been.

- Littering. They littered.
- Litter bug!

And to celebrate
his good fortune...

Boss' celebrity roadblock
had nailed Mel Tillis.

Jimmy!

Oh, I love it, I
love it, I love it.

I loved every bit of it.

I loved it so much, I'm gonna
tear up your speeding ticket.

- Mr. Hogg?
- Yeah?

You're all...
- Heart.
- Wallet.

Littering, littering, J.D.

I'm sorry, Mr. Hogg,
but the law is the law.

What's good for the
goose is good for the game

in Hazzard County.
