Yee-haw!

Now, it's pretty dang seldom
in Hazzard that you see

one car chasing another
without one of 'em being

the General Lee and the
other being the sheriff patrol car.

And it ain't often
you'll see someone

tool around a set of wheels

almost as good as
Bo and Luke Duke.

What do y'all
reckon is goin' on?

Slow down! Hey, stop!

There's an awful good reason
for all the similarity, which

if you'll hang on a
minute, you'll see.

- You could k*ll someone.
- You crazy?

Whoever that is, he ain't
gonna give up the chase.

What do you think?

Well, I think it needs
about five minutes more.

Give her five minutes.
Could be a little browner.

- I'll get it.
- 'Well, you're the expert.'

- Yeah?
- Mr. Duke?

That's right.

Mr. Duke, I know you're
gonna find this hard to believe

but my name is Jud.

I'm Luke's brother.

You're..?

Uh-uh, Luke?

Luke, there's a
fella here that uh..

I heard him.

Come on in.

I don't know if this
is your idea of a joke

but it ain't funny.

My baby brother Jud
d*ed in a hospital fire

when he was weeks old.

I know there was a hospital
fire, but I wasn't lost in it.

You see, there was this
lady, Mrs. Nelson, a nurse.

And she was a widow lady.

And when the fire started,
she grabbed me up and ran.

She saved my life.

As a matter of fact, they
never did find any remains.

Well, that's because
there wasn't any.

Everybody thought I was a goner.

She didn't have children, so
she took me to the next town

and raised me as her own.

I can't believe it.

How do you expect
us to believe that?

You come waltzing
in here with this story..

Why didn't you come
looking for me before?

Because I didn't know
anything about you

until she took ill,
six months ago.

She told me the
truth on her deathbed.

And I've spent every last dollar I
can lay my hands on since then

on a private detective,
trying to find my family.

Well, that..

Sure is a right good story.

There sure is a family
resemblance, too.

In case you need proof..

Mom, Mrs. Nelson,
says that, uh, well

I guess we got
something else in common.

- A birthmark.
- A birthmark.

Yeah.

'If the young lady would turn
her back for a minute, uh..'

It's in the same place as mine.

- Same place.
- My baby brother.

That's what I've
been tryin' to tell ya.

It's my baby brother.

- This is Bo. And this is Daisy.
- Good to see you.

- Hey, Jud.
- Oh, hi, Daisy.

- Jud, there you are.
- Uncle Jesse.

You look more like
your dad than your dad.

- Look at him.
- He does?

- Well?
- Sure is cute.

My baby brother.

'What do you mean
he's still alive?'

I lost him. I bet he's still
here in Hazzard County.

'Well, you find him, boy.'

'Cause I'm using a payphone
and a bench for an office

'cause he didn't go down for
the count like he was supposed to.

I lost my money, Charlie.

My pretty Rolls.

My penthouse condo. Dames.

Catch the next
bus off for Hazzard.

I'll meet you at
the bus station at .

I lost my watch. How am I
gonna tell what time it is, Char..?

Charlie?

That sure was a good
meal, Cousin Daisy.

Well, it's not over yet, Jud.

I got two apple pies here
that Uncle Jesse made.

- Alright.
- Looks good.

So, what will it be,
milk or buttermilk?

- I'll have buttermilk, please.
- Okay. Jud?

Oh, I hate buttermilk.

Well, that's one thing
we got in common.

- I'll have some coffee, though.
- Yeah, me too, please.

- Black.
- Black.

Oh, yeah?

Get on with it, Jud.

Well, I guess we moved on
down to Tullahoma and um..

I got me a little schoolin',
did a few odd jobs.

Did a hitch in the
Army. Learned to box.

No kidding? Well, sh**t. Luke
was a boxer in the Marines.

Yeah, I quit though,
when I got out.

- Came back home.
- Yeah.

Well, I... stayed
with it for a while.

Turned pro. Fought under
the name of k*ller Kane.

'Did pretty good for a while.'

'If you did so good,
why'd you quit?'

- It's a long story.
- Well..?

Here's to a new
member of the family.

- 'Welcome, Jud.'
- 'Hear, hear.'

- Thanks.
- Welcome.

Alright, speech,
speech. Make a speech.

- Yes, a few words.
- Age before beauty over here.

Well, one of you get on with it.

Well, uh..

I guess this is about the
happiest day of my life.

Well, While the Dukes and Jud
was getting to know one another

this here fella who was
chasing Jud in the beginning

was getting to know
every back road

and highway in Hazzard County.

And he wasn't about to give up.

- Are you gonna wash or not?
- Do you want me to wash?

- The scenery don't change much.
- Huh?

That's about the fifth time
you looked out that window.

- 'You expecting somebody?'
- No, of course not.

Jud, we're brothers.

Now, you ain't gotta
keep anything from me.

Who you waiting on?

Somebody who
might wanna k*ll me.

Don't you suppose
everybody ought to hear this?

- It's my problem.
- It's our problem.

Hey, y'all, come on in here.

Jud's got a problem. Looks
like somebody's after him.

'What?'

Come on in here
and just sit down.

- What kind of trouble?
- Excuse me.

What are you talking about?

Well, I guess y'all got
a right to know, uh..

Since we're family.

I told you I was a
professional fighter.

'Well, uh, my manager
made a deal with a gambler'

'who laid off a big
bet on the other guy.'

- I was supposed to take a dive.
- Which you didn't do.

Nope. Knocked him
out in the first round.

I guess that gambler
lost just about everything.

- Do you know who he is?
- Yeah. It was Tex Tompkins.

He sent one of his boys,
Charlie Burns, to get me.

This sounds serious.

We better get ourselves some
help. Why don't you get Rosco?

What help is Rosco gonna be?

Well, he and Enos are the
only law we got in Hazzard.

You know, if these
guys have g*ns..

They have.

- Uncle Jesse's right.
- Let's go.

- Come on.
- Alright, enough said.

Listen, if Rosco ain't
to the courthouse..

He'll be out there at
speed-trap number two.

- Gotcha.
- Yes, sir.

Keep your eyes open, huh?

The Dukes headed for
Hazzard looking for Rosco's help.

A sure sign of desperation.

Now friends, the Hazzard
Moon Ball was approachin'

and Rosco was goin'
beyond the call of duty.

And you ain't gonna believe how.

- You mean, like this?
- Hm.

Alright.

- Now, you lead.
- Okay.

Right. One and two
and three. And turn.

And one and two and three.

And a-one and two and..

Hey, wait a minute.
That's my rose.

And then you
dance, around we go.

- Now get ready for the big dip.
- What dip?

- Ready?
- What dip?

The dip. That one.

That's good, that's good.

And a-one and a-two and a-three.

Y'all might not be
the prettiest couple

at the Hazzard ball, but
you sure do count good.

Well, you boys can
start counting days..

Which is what you two are
gonna get for trespassing.

Rosco! Come back in
here and turn that music off.

You can't get us
for trespassing.

This here's public
property, ain't it?

That's right. Besides, we came
here on legitimate business.

I know that's hard to
believe, but it's true.

Oh, tiddly-tuddly. What
legitimate business?

We're trying to save a man's
life, that legitimate business.

- Ooh, what man's life?
- My brother, Jud Kane.

- Your brother?
- Y-your brother?

- Rosco, did you hear that?
- I heard it three times.

- When he, you and I said it.
- Oh, please.

Jud, this is Rosco
Coltrane and Boss Hogg.

Say, where'd you
come from, brother?

Because I never heard tell of
Luke Duke havin' no brother.

Boss, it's a long story...

Which we ain't got time
to go into it right now.

The important thing is he's here
and there's somebody after him.

'Somebody after him?'

Yeah, fellow's name
is Charlie Burns.

Well, you got a
description of this Burns?

Well, he's about six feet tall,
pounds, he's got sandy hair.

- He's wearing a blue blazer.
- Blue blazers.

We'd really appreciate if you
and Enos keep an eye open.

Wait a minute, hold everything.

- Hold it, hold it, hold it.
- Listen.

Why should a busy man like
the sheriff waste all his time

and the tax payer's
money by involving himself

in you and your brother's
personal problems?

Well, because he's
the law and it's his duty.

Oh, because he is the
law and it's his duty, hmm?

Besides, there might be a
small reward involved in this thing.

A reward? Why didn't you
say so in the first place?

I was getting to it.

Rosco P. Coltrane and
the whole Sheriff department

is at your disposal
hours a day.

Because he is the
law and it's his duty.

- Yes, right.
- So, go on now.

We got the information and
we'll take care of everything.

Ooh, a reward!

Reward was exactly
what Boss was thinking.

But not quite the
way Luke intended.

I was just plantin' an idea
in Boss' greedy little mind.

If Boss thinks there's
some money in it, he'll have

Rosco and Enos out there
looking for that fellow in no time.

You know something, Boss?
Those Duke boys were lying.

They were lying
just like a tomb stone.

That man was no more
Luke Duke's brother

than I am second
cousin to a jackass.

Yeah, he is and you are.

On account of Luke wasn't
lying when he said that

that Jud was his brother.

- He wasn't?
- Mm-hmm.

On account of, Dukes don't lie.

You know, come to think
of it, they don't, do they?

They wasn't lying when they
said that someone was out

to get Luke's brother, too.

- Only..
- Only?

Only I was thinking
that that reward money

he's talkin' about was
really reward money

for Luke's brother.

And I was thinking that
that Charlie Burns he was

talking about was really
some kind of lawman.

Well, maybe a bounty hunter.

- Bounty hunter.
- Yeah, that's right.

I think that them Dukes
are trying to stop him

from collecting Jud
and that reward money

that Luke was talking about.

Ooh, that's right.
You know something?

That's what I love about you.

You've got a mind
like a steel trap.

And I'm going to snap it
shut tight on them Dukes.

- You're scuffin' my fern.
- Hm, oh yeah.

- 'Jud?'
- Yeah.

What color car was that
you said was followin' you?

A light brown sedan,
Five, six years old maybe.

It fits the description of the
one that's sittin' behind us.

'Well, he just seems to
be hanging back there.'

'He doesn't seem to be
moving up on us at all.'

Let's just see what
he wants. Hang on.

- He ain't hanging back no more.
- That's gotta be him.

Hope you don't mind if we don't
pull over and ask him, alright?

Now, just hang on.

Well, he's pulling up on ya.

Luke, tell me that that
sputtering in the engine

ain't the float
valve stuck again.

'Bo, I get the feeling
he ain't friendly.'

'Hang in here, don't
let him knock you off.'

Bo, he's gotta g*n.

Welcome to Hazzard, Jud.

Hang on.

Well, that oughta
hold him for a while.

It ain't gonna take long to
find out who this car belongs to.

Which will lead him right
to the farm's doorsteps.

Boy, this is sure gonna be
one heck of a homecoming.

This here's the last of
the wanted posters, sheriff.

Would y'all mind telling
who we're looking for, please?

I'll tell you who we're looking
for, Luke's kid brother Jud.

Possum on a gum bush, I
didn't know Luke had a brother.

When did he get one?

He's had one for some
-odd years, you dipstick.

Enos, will you stop asking
questions and start pitching in?

- Yeah.
- I'd be glad to, Sheriff.

Except I don't know what
Luke's kid brother looks like.

Yeah? Well, how's looking
like Luke Duke for starters?

- That's right.
- There.

Yes, sir.

Tex arrived in town,
having lost everything

except his natural meanness.

If he wasn't made any too
happy by old Charlie's ineptitude.

Don't you love
them kind of words?

Don't worry, Tex, we'll
get him, and when we do..

It's gonna be a permanent KO.

All we gotta find out is
who owns that orange car

he's driving around in.

'You know how we're gonna
do that, Charlie? We ask.'

We ask cops for help?

A good cop is a public servant.

And if he's a bad cop,
well, he's my kind of people.

- So you're just gonna take off.
- That's right.

I thought you said
you were a fighter.

I am a fighter, a good one.

A good fighter uses his
head as well as his hands.

- That's why I'm getting out...
- Hang on just a second.

You can't drop into
somebody's life one day

and drop out the next.

I'm your brother, I wanna help.

Luke's right. Not only does
he wanna help, but we all do.

- We're all family.
- I know that.

If anything was happen to
you'll I couldn't live with myself.

You think it'd be
easier to live with myself

if something happened to you?

I'm having trouble
living with the both of ya.

I don't like running away
more than the next fella

but you seem to be
forgetting something.

As soon as he gets his car
out, he's gonna come looking

and it ain't gonna be
hard, 'cause he knows

his car and he
knows the General.

Wait a minute. That
fella's new around here.

He's gonna have to take
the main road out here.

What are you getting at?

I'll drive your car, you
ride with Bo in General Lee.

- What good is that gonna do?
- You stay out of this.

What good is that gonna do?

Don't you see, Uncle Jesse?
Luke's gonna be a decoy.

Sure, Luke drives Jud's
car, they're gonna chase him.

While they are in the General
Lee heading the other way on...

- I can't let you..
- Let's to McCall's place?

That's a great idea.
It'll buy us some time.

We'll be able to
figure a way out.

- Maybe they'll just leave.
- And you won't be runnin'.

That's right, and I'm gonna
make you sandwiches

while y'all are holed up.

That ought to help.

Uncle Jesse...

You're gonna need
some traveling money.

- We better pack. Come on.
- We better pack. Come on.

Let's see, Jud. Here, you just..

- Here, take this.
- I can't take your money.

Look, look, give it back to me

when you get to
be champion, huh?

Well, as the Dukes was
getting ready to make their move

Boss and Rosco was
coming to a dead stop.

Well, he ain't in
that book either.

Not in the wanted
posters neither, Mr. Hogg.

Could be nobody wants him

present family
excluded, of course.

You know what pains me
is that just maybe this fella

hasn't done anything wrong.

- He's a Duke, ain't he?
- Well..

Well, Mr. Hogg, the Dukes
are honest, law-abiding folks.

Well, that's exactly why
I don't trust none of 'em.

Anybody that's so
clean had to be dirty first.

Listen, Enos, I want you to get
out to the Duke farm, you hear?

I want a round-the-clock watch

put on whatever's
going on out there.

Now, Mr. Hogg, spying
on other folks is illegal.

Enos, will you hush that?
It's not called "spying."

It's called staking out
when it's police work.

That's it. "Stakin'
out." Now, get, get, get.

I'll steal a snooze.
I'm wore to a nub.

You ain't just gonna
sit there, are you?

Come on, get on the phone.

Call the sheriffs in
other counties. Yeah.

Call the FBI, call
the CIA, call the IRS.

We gotta find somebody
with something on him

or we're gonna be stuck
with another Duke in Hazzard.

'What stakin' out means.
His first cousin's a spy.'

Howdy.

Hey.

Where have I seen them before?

'FBI said they don't
have anything on him'

'but they're gonna
keep checking.'

Yeah, well, call them other
places I told you to call, then.

- Come on, don't waste time...
- Sheriff.

Oh, excuse me, at your service.

You ain't at nobody's
service until you find out

'more about Jud Kane.'

- You said Jud Kane?
- Yeah, I said Jud Kane.

- Yeah, he said Jud Kane.
- Ain't that a coincidence.

That's just who
we're looking for.

- You're looking for Jud Kane?
- Oh.

Well, why would you
be looking for Jud Kane?

- Unless..
- Unless..

- I was right.
- You were right.

- There is a price on his head.
- Yes.

And you two bounty
hunters are trying to b*at us

to it, ain't ya?

So you do know
where k*ller Kane is.

- See? k*ller Kane!
- k*ller Kane. I knew it, Rosco.

I was right. I knew it.

Listen. Tell me something.
How much is this reward

you're gonna split with us
if we tell you where he is?

Well, how does $ , sound?

- Ten thousand.
- Ten thousand.

- 'Five for the two of you.'
- Five for us, yes.

- 'And five for us.'
- And five for you.

- If you tell us where he is.
- At the Duke farm.

We'll drive out with you
just to make it official and all.

And to make sure we get
our share of the money.

- Oh, yeah.
- Right, Boss?

- 'The Duke farm, you say?'
- Yeah.

Well, that's right neighborly
of you, isn't it, Charlie?

Right neighborly. Except
we're kind of loners.

We'd rather go out there
for Jud by ourselves.

Wait a minute. What do
you think you're trying to do?

Get in there. Come on!

Yeah, well, be careful.
And watch my car.

- Now, don't take any chances.
- Be careful with him.

Yeah, Uncle Jesse. Daisy.

I'll be back soon
as I can. Bye-bye.

You boys keep your
heads up, you hear?

We'll be in touch.

Possum on a gum bush.

Hey, you forgot your
sandwiches! Dang it!

Well, we'll have
to eat that now.

I better stay with
Luke's brother.

Them keys is right
over there, ain't they?

That's where they always was.

You just squat down
and get them there.

Let me-let me just..

Help, help, help. I'm
stuck, stuck, stuck.

That's because of eating
all those fattening grits

Sunday at the picnic.

See, it's all gone to your
fat, chubby little thigh.

That ain't against the
law. Help me out of here.

- Wait a minute...
- Pull, pull, pull.

No!

Did I scuff you
up? Oh, listen, here

I'll help you. Now, just...

- Oh, wait.
- The other one, the other one!

One Lost Sheep
calling the other.

'You got your ears on,
cousin? Come back.'

I hear ya.

Listen, any sign
of them yet, Luke?

That's a negatory.
I ain't seen nothing.

Well, do me a favor.

Keep the CB line open so
we know what's going on.

'You got it. Ten-four.'

While the Dukes was
working out their escape

Boss and Rosco had
everything under control.

Get up there and get them keys.

We gotta get out so them crooks
don't get that reward money.

Well, wait a minute. Listen.
Boss, I can't reach those keys.

I knew you were short on brains

but I never thought it went
all the way down to your arms.

- Come on, reach! Reach, reach!
- Oh, you're mash, mash, Boss!

Wait a minute, Boss. I
need something longer.

- What do you got?
- I haven't anything.

We need something.

Oh, look, look, look.
There's a mop handle.

Yeah, you can use
this to spear them keys.

Oh, goody-goody gumdrops.
Why didn't I think of that?

Because if you had my
brains, you'd be Boss

and I'd be the jackass sheriff.

- Now, take this thing.
- Oh! Boss.

- Alright now. Wait...
- Let's go and get them. Yeah.

Ooh, Boss... you
look good in gray hair.

Tex..

I'll be danged but it looks
like Jud's car coming this way.

Here they come.

He took the bait. He's
pulling up right behind me now.

I'm turning on to Old Mill Road.

Hang on, Jud.

Now, getting between a
rock and a hard place is bad.

But when either the rock
or the hard place start

sh**ting at you,
now, that's worse.

Luke, we got enough of a lead.

Pull over and let them
know you ain't Jud, huh?

Afraid I can't do that.

They decided to sh**t
first and ask questions later.

You alright, Luke?

Luke?

Possum on a gum bush!

- Hey, wasn't that the sheriff?
- Looked more like Enos' car.

Enos? Listen, this is Bo Duke.

We might need your
help. Luke's in trouble.

I'm right with you, Bo.

Thanks a lot, Enos.

Luke, you out there?

'Can you hear me, Luke?'

I hope I didn't see what
I think I saw. Don't y'all?

Luke, you got your
ears on? Come back.

- There's smoke over there.
- I see it.

I see it. Luke.

'Word gets out about
this, you can bet'

'nobody's gonna double-cross
Tex Tompkins again.'

'Come on, I'll buy you a beer.'

Luke!

- Enos, call an ambulance.
- Okay, Bo.

Luke, you're alright. Luke?

This is Deputy Enos Strate
calling the Tri-County Hospital.

We need an ambulance
on Fox Hill Road

just east of the
Hatchapee turnoff.

It's an emergency
now, please hurry!

Luke?

He's still breathing.

- Come on, Luke, wake up.
- Oh, why'd I come here?

Why'd I let him talk me
into that fool scheme of his?

Oh, it's all my fault.

Jud, you're being way
too hard on yourself.

It is not your fault.

- Come on, brother.
- Come on, Luke.

- Come on.
- Come on, you can do it.

Alright, gentlemen, here you go.

Why, thank you, ma'am.

If there's anything else you
need, I'm Daisy, just call me.

- Okay, Daisy. Sure will.
- We're fine.

- Well, hey, Enos.
- There's been an accident.

Jud?

No, Luke. He was
driving Jud's car.

Oh, no.

'He's unconscious,
but he's alive.'

Bo and Jud's with him
at the Tri-County Hospital.

Alright, let me think.

Listen, you call Uncle
Jesse for me, alright.

And tell him he's at the
hospital and I'm on my way.

'You drive careful now, Daisy.'

You hear that? We
branded the wrong steer.

So we go back and
finish off the right one.

He ain't going nowhere with
his brother in the hospital.

Now. Right now.

I'm not gonna rest
my head till I know

that Jud's been plowed under.

Sheriff.

Yes, Uncle Jesse. Daisy will
be there in about minutes.

If there's anything I can
do now, Uncle Jesse..

Thank you, sir.

Now, where have I
seen them before?

California plates.

Now you can't see the
wheels spinning in Enos' head

because they're so tiny.

But they're really humming.

Now, let's hope that Enos can
make some kind of connection

about where he's
seen Tex and Charlie

before things thicken up worse.

Oh, Bo.

It's all my fault. I shouldn't
have come here to Hazzard.

Why shouldn't you
come here? You're family.

We ain't blaming you, Jud.

Well, I should have
never let him talk me

into that dang scheme of his.

Then it'd be me in
there instead of him.

Oh, I suppose then we'd all feel
a whole lot better, wouldn't we?

Bo.

Jud, I'm sorry.
I-I-I didn't mean it.

- I'm just worried, you know.
- Yeah.

Here comes the doctor.

Well, as near as I can tell,
he has no internal injuries

and no broken bones.

- Thank goodness for that.
- Yeah.

But he does have
a slight concussion.

Well, then he's going to
be alright, ain't he, doc?

'The trouble is he's
still unconscious.'

That-that ain't good, is it?

Well, the sooner he
comes around the better.

Uh, may be if one of us
went in and talked to him and..

It's worth the try.

- Yeah?
- But just one at a time.

- That'd be me.
- Fine come with me.

Well, while Uncle Jesse was
trying to get through to Luke

Enos was still trying to get
through to that fuzzy memory.

Well, that's optimism.

Tex, Tex, Tex Tompkins.

Extortion, gambling.
Yeah, that's it.

Friends you have just witnessed
a miracle of positive thinking.

Luke?

Luke?

'Luke?'

Luke, if-if you hear me..

Make some kind of sign.

- 'Easy does it now.'
- 'Yes, I am.'

Right here, sucker. Nope.

- 'Easy does it.'
- 'Yeah.'

'Easy! Easy does it.'

Now you got 'em. You
got 'em. Now just lift them.

- That's it you did it.
- Ow-ow.

'Oh, gone it. Now you
let down. You did that.'

Yeah, I have no
idea. It ain't so bad.

Get that mop out there and
sweep 'em keys back in towards us.

- Well..
- Come on.

It fell too far. I'll never
be able to do that.

'You can't reach it. We're
right back to square one.'

No, no, no. I got an idea.

Flash, velvet ears,
listen to daddy now.

- Pick up the keys.
- What?

Put it in your little mouth.

'What do you
think you're doing?'

Daddy will give you
some doggy num-nums.

'You're wasting your breath.'

That mangy mutt ain't
gonna pick-up them keys

'and fetch them to us.'

No, she ain't got enough brains.

See you shouldn't say
that. That's naughty.

Now, pick up the keys, darling.

There, she's picking them
up. She's picking them up.

Oh, my. Alright,
bring them here.

- 'Bring them here.'
- She ain't gonna bring them.

See, you got to apologize to
her because you called her dumb.

Well, I ain't gonna
apologize to no dumb dog.

- Now you did it.
- Oh, no, no, no.

- Come back, velvet ears.
- Please, I didn't mean that.

- 'He didn't mean it.'
- 'I didn't mean it.'

I apologize. With
sugar and cream on it.

- And doggy num-nums.
- And doggy num-nums on it.

Look, I'm giving you
fair warning, cousin.

You wake up right now
or I'm gonna take Sue Ellen

out to the dance tonight.

Luke, would you wake up?

'Dang it, Luke,
would you wake up?'

Luke Duke, would you wake up!

Sheriff, I think I know
who them fellas are.

The California plates
on their car rang the bell.

Sheriff? Flash?

What in the world are
you doing with those keys?

Sweetheart, they
belong downstairs.

Yes, they belong downstairs.
You're a sweet baby.

'How'd you fellas
get locked in there?'

Well, it was those sneaky
low-life bounty hunters.

- Bounty hunters?
- Yeah, yeah, bounty hunters.

Watch this thing.

They come in here
looking for information.

'You see, they're
after Luke Duke..'

and now they're trying
to cheat us out of all

that reward money
they aim to get

for bringing in Luke Duke's
murderous brother, k*ller Kane.

k*ller Kane, is
that Luke's brother?

Right. We gotta get
to him before they do.

Or we lose all the money.

- Hold on, sheriff. Mr. Hogg.
- Wait a minute.

k*ller Kane is his
prize-fighting name.

- Yeah?
- Saw him fight in Los Angeles.

You did?

They ain't bounty hunters,
they're crooked gamblers.

- I knew they were crooked.
- Yeah.

Possum on a gum bush.

They heard me tell,
Daisy, Jud's at the hospital.

- They did?
- Oh, Holy smokes.

Alright, come on.
Let's go, let's go!

- 'I'm sorry, sheriff.'
- Come on, let's go.

Now, as crooked as old Boss
is, he don't cotton to v*olence.

And he figures if
you gotta be violent

to be crooked, you're trash.

Boss didn't want low-lifes
like Tex and Charlie

messing up Hazzard or the Dukes.

Why don't y'all come in
and help me shut him up.

- Yes!
- Whoa.

As Jesse and Daisy
was getting the good news

Jud had gone outside
to get some fresh air

and was getting some bad news.

Hello, Jud.

- Look at there.
- You okay?

- More or less. How you doing?
- Oh, you're back.

- Yeah, I'm back.
- Oh, honey.

I had to come back. Couldn't
stand to see a grown man cry.

- Come on, now.
- Big boy.

It's good to see all
your smiling faces.

Where's Jud at?

He just went down
to get some fresh air.

- He's been here all along.
- I'll-I'll go get him.

- Alright. Well, hurry back.
- Yeah.

'Real sorry about
your brother, Jud.'

Now, before any
more of your family

gets hurt than necessary
let's take a little ride, huh?

Only this time,
let's use my car.

- Hey, Jud...
- Bo, watch out, he's got a g*n.

Alright, move it. Get
it. Let's go, let's go.

Bo tends to leap
before he looks.

Hang on, Bo.

Shake him. Shake him!

'Bo, watch out!'

'Alright, alright, let's go!'

'Stop, Bo.'

'Take him out.'

'Let's get out, come on!'

- I think I'm hungry.
- Good, good.

- What's keeping Jud and Bo?
- They'll be along,

They'll be along. Why don't
you stretch out there and relax.

- I'll get you something to eat.
- I'm alright.

No you're not. The doctor said
you've got a slight concussion.

Hey, y'all.

- What happened to you?
- Don't worry about me.

They got Jud. I tried to
stop 'em, but I couldn't do it.

- Let's go get 'em.
- Now, wait a minute.

You're not going anywhere.
You just lay down and relax.

Uncle Jesse's right.

You're gonna do us more
harm than good right now, okay?

I'm not sure which way they went
so we're gonna have to split up.

- He's my brother.
- I know it.

And he's my cousin,
just like you are, right?

Right, you behave yourself, huh?

Now, Luke... you
stay put, you hear?

- Yes, sir.
- Mind me.

Yeah, I'll stay put, alright.

Keep it going.

Daisy, why don't you
take Cottonwood Lane.

- Uncle Jesse.
- Yeah?

Take Old Ridge Road, I'll take
County see what we can find.

Right. Now, remember,
they all got g*ns and we ain't.

So don't nobody do nothing
foolish, you understand?

Yes, sir.

You know what you cost me,
boy? Do you have any idea?

You should've bet on me.

I took him just
like I knew I could.

I don't take chances. I
only bet on sure things.

Like what's gonna
happen to you now.

Now, that's a sure thing.

You can count on it.

A nice isolated spot, Charlie.

So I can settle my unfinished
business with Jud here.

- Hey, Harley.
- Hey, Luke, what you doing up?

I heard you had a concussion.

Yeah, well, I'm
feeling a lot better now.

- Can I use your radio?
- Yeah, go ahead.

Thanks.

I really think you ought
to be in the bed, though.

Yeah, I suppose.

'This is Bo Duke,
calling the sheriff.'

'Rosco? Enos? You got
your ears on? Come back.'

'This is, Sheriff
Rosco P. Coltrane.'

Listen, those fellas are
headed for the hospital

and Luke's brother
is a sitting duck.

Yeah, yeah.

I know. They already got him.
They're driving a brown car.

- We gotta find them.
- Which way they headed, Bo?

'I ain't sure.'

'Daisy, Uncle Jesse and me
have all split up. I'm on County .'

Well, there's no sign of
them on Cottonwood, fellas.

Or on the Old Ridge Road either.

- We got company.
- Take that road to the right.

Stop! Look, look, look.

Listen, they're on
, coming right at us.

'Tough buddy.
I'm in hot pursuit..'

'They're cutting across
country, heading north.'

Bo, this here's Luke.

I think they're headed
towards Potter's Road.

Harley, I'm gonna need a ride.
I gotta get out there and help.

You're kidding.
In your condition?

Listen, that's my
brother out there.

They're gonna need
all the help they can get.

Look, I ain't in no
mood to discuss this.

Now either you drive
this thing or I'll drive it.

Okay, okay. I guess I
owe you a couple of favors.

Alright, let's go.

Everybody was hot on the
chase of Tex and Charlie.

Boss, Rosco and Enos
were snapping at their heels

and the rest of the
Dukes was converging.

Which is one of the
more stimulating things

that can happen in Hazzard.

- Come on, lose them.
- Come on, come on!

Enos.

Oh, no... no!

Enos stopped a bit at
the Hazzard car wash.

And Boss and Rosco
was delayed by a tree.

Literally.

Come on, Harley, can't
this thing go any faster?

Going as fast as I can, buddy.

There they are! Turn
onto Potter's Road.

Cut them off! Watch it!

- 'Oh.'
- What are you doing?

Luke! Luke, you
can't go in there.

'I gotta get in there.'

Hey, buddy, there's
nothing you can do.

- I gotta get in there.
- Luke, Luke.

- My brother's in there!
- You alright?

I'm alright. They're
in the water.

If I need any
help, I'll call you.

You be careful, Bo.

Here, stay here. He'll
get him, he'll get him.

Bo spotted the car and saw
Jud and the others trapped inside.

He'd have to figure out
a way to bust them out.

There he is.

Nobody else.

- Hey, Uncle Jesse.
- Luke, what are you doing here?

There's a car down there.

Bo's getting the people
out. Jud's one of 'em.

Oh, no.

- 'There they are.'
- 'Hey!'

- 'They made it.'
- 'They're alright.'

- 'Bo! You okay, Bo?'
- 'You alright, Jud?'

Yeah, I'm fine. Don't
let them get away.

'Keep coming, Jud.'

Y'all make sure they
don't go nowhere.

'You got it.'

Well, because of a Duke,
Tex had lost everything

he had come by crookedly.

But thanks to a Duke, he didn't
lose the most valuable thing

that he had, his life.

Which he and Charlie would
be spending most of behind bars.

'Hold it. You guys, hold it.'

As for old Boss,
well, he was so happy

to hear that Jud was
leaving, which meant one less

Duke in Hazzard that
he was twinkle-toeing

to the Texas Two-Step.

Well, sort of.

The Dukes turned
over the reward money

they got for catching them
baddies to the orphanage.

Thanks, Daisy, I sure am..

Back at the Duke farm

hearts were little heavier
as old Jud got ready to go.

Uncle Jesse, thanks for..

With Tex and
Charlie behind bars..

Jud was free to do his thing.

Without having to look
over his shoulder all the time.

He promised to come
back as often as he could.

Listen, I know you gotta
do what you gotta do, but..

Well, you know where
we are and, well, I'm here.

If there's anything
you need, I'll be here.

Same thing goes for me,
brother. Same goes for me.

Dang it all.

Now, you keep your nose
out of the way, alright?

You don't want
it lookin' like this.

- Take care.
- Go on, get out of here.

- Don't be a stranger.
- So long.

So long, everybody.

Take it easy, Jud.

You know, it seems
to me, a feller once said

something about not being able
to stand seeing a grown man cry.

Come on.

- Any of that cake left?
- No, the last of it's..

Well, one thing don't
ever change in Hazzard

and that's how the Duke
family feels about one another.

Even if it is a new Duke.
