♪ So many things to do ♪

♪ Each day is something new ♪

♪ I'll share them with you,
I'm Caillou ♪

[ Meow ]
♪ My world is turning ♪

♪ Changing each day ♪

♪ With mommy and daddy I'm
finding my way ♪

♪ Growing up is not so tough ♪

♪ Except when I've had enough ♪

♪ But there's lots of fun stuff,
I'm Caillou ♪

♪ Caillou, Caillou ♪

♪ I'm Caillou, Ha! Ha! Ha! ♪

♪ That's me! ♪

Look at my car!

- I made an igloo.

- What did you make,
Clementine?

- It's a field of flowers!

- [Both]: Oh!

- Okay, everyone,
it's time to clean up.

- [All]: Okay.

- We'll do more crafts
tomorrow...

and speaking of tomorrow, class,
we are also going to have

Show and Tell.
- [Other kids]: Yay!

- Yes, Caillou?

- Miss Martin, what's
Show and Tell?

- It means that you bring
something from home

to show the class, and
then you tell us

why you think it's special.

- Can I bring something I like
to play with?

- Certainly! You can bring
anything you wish.

- I know what
I'm going to bring!

- Are you going
to bring your lion?

- No. It's something else
and it's a surprise.

- Mine's a surprise too.

- Caillou didn't know
what he was going to bring.

He wished he knew what Leo
and Clementine were bringing.

Caillou really wanted to find
an extra special surprise

to take for Show and Tell.

- Hmm...
- Rexy! Hee! Hee! Hee!

- No, I don't want to bring
Rexy. Everyone's already
seen him.

[ Rexy squeaking ]
- Roar!!!

- Hee! Hee!

Wouldn't it be great

if Rexy was
a real dinosaur?

[ Rexy squeaking ]

[ Rexy roaring ]

[ Ding! ]

[ Ding! ]

- Red means stop.

[ Baby laughing ]

[ Car honking, Bicycle bells ]

[ Ding! ]
Green means go!

[ Rexy roaring ]

- [All kids]: Wow!
- Look at that!

- Hi, Miss Martin!
I brought

my dinosaur Rexy
for Show and Tell.

- My goodness!
- Who wants a ride?

- [Children]: I do! Yeah!

- Whee!

- This is the best
Show and Tell ever!

- Whoo-hoo!

- [Both]: Hee! Hee! Ha! Ha!

- [Clementine]: Yay!

[ Laughter ]

Yay!

- [Rosie]: Mousie! Hee, hee!
[ Rexy squeaking ]

- No, I want something
that will be a surprise!

- Surprise!

[ Laughing ]
Surprise Caillou!

- What are you two up to?

- I'm trying to find
a special surprise for
Show and Tell tomorrow.

- Surprise!

- [Mom]: Ha! Ha! Why don't you
choose three things

and you can practice
your Show and Tell on us

after supper.
Maybe that will help you decide.

- Caillou thought
that was a very good idea,

and went back to pick out
his three favorite toys.

After dinner Caillou
had a practice Show and Tell.

[ Rosie laughing ]

[ Applause ]

[ Squeaking toy ]
- This is Rexy. He's a dinosaur,

and he has big teeth,
but he isn't mean.

He's my favorite toy!
- Hee! Hee! Hee!

- The next surprise is...
my kite!

I took my kite to the park and
flew it really high!

- Rosie fly-a-kite!
Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha!

- And for
my last surprise...

My fire truck! I like it because
the ladder goes up...

and the lights flash
when I push it around...

So? Which one did you like best?

- I thought all of them were
pretty special.

Especially Rexy

because he's
a dinosaur.

- But Rexy won't be
a surprise for Leo.

- I like your kite...

- But Caillou remembered that
Clementine was with him

the day he flew his kite.

- It won't be a surprise
for Clementine.

- Maybe not, but for everyone
else it will be.

Well, there's always
your fire truck.

[ Rosie laughing ]

- But Caillou still wasn't sure
what to take for Show and Tell.

- Why don't you sleep on it
tonight and decide tomorrow?

- Sleep on my fire truck?

- Ha! Ha! Ha!
No, that's an expression

that means go to bed
with the question in your mind

and in the morning
after a good night's
sleep, maybe you'll know

what you want to do.

- Surprise Caillou!
- Aaah!

[ All laughing ]

- But the next morning,

Caillou still did not know

which toy would make
the best surprise.

- Caillou sad?

- I don't know
what to bring, Rosie.

Miss Martin said we could
bring anything we want.

But I really want it to be
a surprise for everyone.

- SURPRISE!
- Aaah!

[ Rosie laughing ]

- Daddy! Daddy!
- Ha! Ha! What?

- Can you do
something for me?

[ Rosie laughing ]

- Sure! What is it?

- And my grandfather used this
compass whenever he went camping

so he wouldn't get lost.

[ Applause ]

- Miss Martin! My lucky cricket
isn't in its cage!

- [Kids]: Oh no!
[ Cricket chirring ]

[ Chirring ]

[ Chirring ]

[ Chirring ]

- I got it!
- Thanks!

- Yay!
- Alright!

- Well done!

- With Clementine's lucky
cricket back in its cage,

it was now Caillou's turn
for Show and Tell.

- [Dad]: Caillou?

- My Show and Tell is bigger
than everyone else's...

- SURPRISE!

[ All surprised then laughing ]

- I was going to bring
one of my toys,

but my sister Rosie is
even more fun to play with

than my toys.

[ All laughing ]

- Caillou the magician.

- Thanks
Grandma!

Watch this,
Rosie!

[ Meow ]
[ Kids laughing ]

- Caillou was glad when Grandma
came to visit.

She always thought
of fun things to do.

- Which hand is
the balloon in?

- Hmm... That one!

[ Rosie laughing ]
- Ooh!

[ Both gasping ]

- It's magic!
- Where did it go?

[ Meowing ]

There it is!

- I see you've discovered
my trick, Gilbert!

- You dropped it
on the couch

when you had it
behind your back!

Can you show me how
to do a magic trick?

- Oh, you want to be
a magician, do you?

- Yeah! Rosie can help
me, and we can

show our trick to
Mommy and Daddy!

- Yeah!

- Caillou and Rosie were
very excited

at the thought
of putting on a magic show,

only Caillou wanted to look
like a magician too.

- Hmm... I need a magic wand,
and a cape!

- I'm sure we can find
something around the house

that will do.
Let's have a look!

How about this
for a magic wand?

- It's a straw. Hmm...

- Caillou wasn't so sure that
a straw would do the trick!

- Rosie thirsty!

- Abracadabra,
Abracazink...

Let's get Rosie
a nice big drink!

[ Both kids laughing ]

Would you like some too,
Caillou?

- No thank you, Grandma.
I'm going to look for a cape!

[ Straining ]

Whoah!

[ Gilbert meowing
and Caillou laughing ]

[ Laughing ]
- Caillou?

- Look! I found a cape!
[ Meowing ]

- What on earth?
- Magic!

- Hee! Ha! Ha!
That's not magic, Rosie!

That's...

Gilbert!

- Ha! Ha! Ah-ha! Even Gilbert
knows a magic trick or two!

Before we do
any more tricks,

we need to put away
all these towels.

- Okay, Grandma.

- Come on, I'll show you
how to fold them.

Thank you,
Caillou.

- Can we start our
magic show now?

- You need
one more thing first.

- Caillou already had a magic
wand and cape.

- Hmm...

- He couldn't think
of anything else he needed.

- Wow!

It's a hat!
- Yes, it's

your daddy's top hat,
from when he married Mommy.

But I'm sure he won't
mind if you borrow it.

- How do I look?

- Splendid. You look just
like a real magician!

- Which hand is
the ball in, Rosie?

- Ooh!... Ha! Ha!
Ha! Oh!

[ Meowing ]

- That's mine, Gilbert!
Hee! Ha! Ha! Ha!

- Perhaps that trick doesn't
work so well

with a bouncy ball - especially
with Gilbert around!

Maybe you could make
something else

disappear. like
your bunny?

- Hmm... No, something bigger!

- Bigger!

- I could make
Rosie disappear!

You can hide
behind my cape!

When I say
the magic words,

you crawl under
the table, okay?

- What a good idea!
And if we put a cloth
on the table,

nobody will be able
to see Rosie hiding there.

I'll go find one.

- Abracadabra!

[Whispering]: Okay, Rosie.
Hide under the table now!

No, Rosie! You have
to crawl under the table!

Here, watch me.

Abracadabra!
[ Straining ]

- Hee! Hee! Hee!
Caillou? Peekaboo!

- There! That'll
do nicely.

Now how about
your audience?

Shall I get
Mommy and Daddy?

- Okay Rosie.
This time you hide

under the table when
I say Abracadabra!

Abracadabra!

[ Meowing ]

Gilbert!! You're
ruining my trick!

[ Meowing ]

- How are our little
magicians doing?

- [Dad]: Grandma tells us
you've been

practicing a trick.
Can we see it?

- Caillou wasn't so sure
they'd be able to do the trick,

but he was willing
to give it his best try.

- Okay.

[ Inhaling ]

[ Magic sparkling sound ]

[ Applause and cheering ]

[ Applause and aahing ]

[ Aahing and applause ]

[ Aahing ]

[ Cheering and applause ]

Abracadabra!

[ Cheering and applause ]
Thank you! Thank you!

[ Magic sparkling sound ]

- Abracadabra!

Rosie disappear!

Tadaa!

- That's amazing!
Where did she go?!

- Hee! Hee! Ha! Ha!

- I hope you can bring
Rosie back -

we wouldn't want her
to miss her afternoon snack!

- Caillou didn't
know what to do.

He hadn't practiced bringing
Rosie back.

- Abracadabra!

Rosie come back!

[Whispering]: Come back, Rosie!

[ Meowing ]
[ Caillou gasping ]

[ All laughing ]

[ Rosie laughing ]

- Well done, Caillou!
You too, Rosie!

- Bravo!

Now why don't our little
magicians go

into the kitchen
for their snack?

- I can do another
magic trick!

I can make my snack disappear!

Abracadabra!

Thank you!

[ All laughing ]

I've got a trick for you ♪

♪ Okay everyone, watch me put
this scarf over Gilbert ♪

♪ Now I'll say the magic words ♪
[ Meowing ]

look at me ♪

♪ And poof! Where is Gilbert? ♪

[ Meowing ]
[ All laughing ]

♪ Putting on a show is fun
You should try it too ♪

And see what you can do ♪

Learn to play guitar ♪

♪ There's lots of things to try
Maybe one day be a star ♪

♪ Magic magic,
that's what I like to do ♪

- Caillou's castle.

Caillou was playing castles and
dragons with Gilbert and Teddy.

- Watch out Teddy,
there's a dragon on the bed!

[ Meowing ]
No Gilbert, stay!

You're the scary dragon!

[ Meowing ]

- Only Gilbert didn't
want to play.

- We need a dragon!

[ Meowing ]

Mommy, have you seen Gilbert?

- No, I haven't.

[ Meowing ]

- Hee! Hee! Ha! Ha!
Gilbert, you silly cat!

Were you hiding?
[ Rosie laughing ]

- It sounded like Rosie was
having fun.

Caillou decided to find out
what she was doing.

- Samich for dolly.

No, Caillou!

Rosie play with soldier!

- But I need a soldier to save
Teddy from the dragon!

- No! Soldier hungry.

- Hey you two, you can share
your toys.

Find a way to play together.

- The boxes gave Caillou
a wonderful idea.

- Mommy, can we use those boxes?
I want to build a castle!

- Sure, as long as you and Rosie
share and play together nicely.

- We will.

Do you want to play
a game with me, Rosie?

- Play dolly?

- No, not dolly, dragons.

Roaaaar!
- Oh...

- Caillou felt bad.
He didn't mean to scare

his little sister.
- Ha! Ha!

It's okay Rosie.
Here, the soldier will

protect you from
the scary dragon.

[ Rosie laughing ]

- Rooooaar!

- Gilbert will be the dragon,

and these boxes will
be our castle!

Do you want to be
a princess, Rosie?

- Princess Rosie!

- And I'm going to be a prince.

But first we have
to build our castle.

- Rosie the princess,
Rosie the princess!

Caillou?
- Yeah?

- Peekaboo!

[ Both laughing ]

- How's the castle coming along?

- I think we need some windows.
Can you help us?

- You bet.
I'll get some scissors.

- I'll be right back.

Let's see...

I got it!

Hmm...

Ah-ha!

- Rosie want red!

- Caillou shared the coloured
pens with Rosie.

[ Meowing ]

Soon the boxes were starting
to look like a real castle.

- Nice work!

[ Meowing ]

Oops... I think someone's
trapped in the castle.

[ Meowing ]
- Now that
their castle was ready,

Caillou decided he needed
to look more like a prince.

- I'm going to go look
for some prince clothes.

- Okay. So Rosie,

shall we find you something fit
for a princess?

- Yeah!

- I am Prince Caillou!

And this is my castle!

- Caillou felt
like a real prince.

- Rosie pretty princess!

- Now they were really
ready to play castle.

- The dragon won't be able

to get into our
castle, Princess Rosie!

Now where is that dragon?

- Ooh! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Caillou! Dragon
down there!

[ Yawn ]

- He's sleeping right
in front of the door!

We can't get out!

- Hee! Hee! Hee!
Dragon sleeping!

- Hmm... I know what to do!

Excuse me!
You're blocking our door!

- Bye!

- Bye-bye!

- Look! The dragon is awake!

C'mon Gilbert, try to
get in the castle!

- Gilbert wasn't being
a very good dragon at all.

- Dragon sleeping.

- We need to find a dragon
that doesn't keep
falling asleep!

- How about two
fire-breathing,

children-tickling
dragons?

Roaaar!!!
[ Both laughing ]

[ Both roaring ]

- Roaaar!

- Caillou! Help!

- Stop, dragon!

[ Laughing ]

Let the princess go!

- Oh no! It's
the courageous prince!

- Roaaar!

- Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha!

- No dragon! Go away!

- Yeah! Now we're
going to tickle you!

- Yikes!
- Aaahhh!

- So Prince Caillou and
Princess Rosie had lots of fun

playing together
in their castle

and chasing dragons all day.

- Hi everybody! Do you want
to play a game with me?

- [A kid]: Yeah!
- [All kids]: Yeah!

- [Another kid]: Yeah!

- Okay! Let's go!

This game is called
"Which One Doesn't Belong"?

- [All kids]: That's Rexy!

- Yeah, Rexy's my favorite toy.

And that's my toy fire truck.

That's my kite.

I went to the park with Daddy

and we flew it
way up in the sky.

And that's a sandwich.

I hope it's a strawberry jam
sandwich,

'cuz that's my favorite!

Which one of these doesn't
belong with the others?

- [All kids]: The sandwich!

- Why?

- [All kids]: A sandwich
is to eat!

- Right! And Rexy, the fire
truck and the kite are

all things to play with!

Let's play again!

Here's something
princesses wear.

Rosie likes to pretend
she's a princess.

These are good to wear
on a rainy day.

That's my Daddy's. I wore it

when I pretended
to be a magician!

And that's what I wear
when I ride my bike.

Four things to wear.

Hmm... Which one doesn't belong?

- [All kids]: The boots!

- Right! You wear the princess
hat, and the magician's hat,

and the bike helmet
on your head,

but the boots go on your...

- [All kids]: Feet!

- Yeah. Hee! Ha!
You'd look funny

if you put boots on your head!

[ Kids all chuckling ]

- [All kids]: That's a car!

That's a bunny rabbit!

That's a bird!

And that's a giraffe!

- Which one doesn't belong?

- [All kids]: The car!

- Right again!

The bunny, and the bird, and
the giraffe are all animals.

The car is a machine.

That's the end of our game!

the moon way up in the sky.

Grandpa knows
