Mr. Sparks:
At Hero Elementary,

my students love

[all grunting]

[upbeat music]

- [squeaks]

Mr. Sparks: But it's hard
to outrun a blur of fur...

- Whoa!
- Wow!

Unless your superpower
happens to be super speed.

- [gasps]

all: Huh?
- And the winner is...

Huh?
Turbo Tina?

- Phew.
Wow!

I've never seen anyone fast
enough to b*at you, Fur Blur.

- [squeaks]

- I didn't know
you were even racing, Tina.

Tina?
- [gasps]

I can't believe it's happening.
I've never seen it before.

I mean, I've seen it
in pictures,

but I've never seen it
in real life!

- Uh, Tina, slow down.
Uh, what's so exciting?

- [inhales deeply]
Out there!

It's in the air...

and on the ground!

It's everywhere!

- What is, Tina?

- It's--it's...

all: Snow!

Benny: Oh, my favorite!
Awesome!

Tina: So fluffy, so white,
so pretty.

- Ooh, wow, the first snow
of the season.

- It's my first snow ever!
- Huh?

You've never
seen snow before?

- Oh, no, I just moved
to City Town

a few months ago, and--
- Turbo Tina...[laughs]

Slow down.

- Right.
[chuckles]

This is my first time
living somewhere cold.

Where I used to live,
it's always warm.

It never snows.

- Never?
- Mm-mm, never.

- Many places in the world
don't have a cold season.

It's warm there all year-round.

- Warm all year?

So you're saying even though
it's cold here now,

it can be warm somewhere else?

- Yeah, if I was back home,
I would be

in shorts and sandals,
and I would even go swimming.

- Whoa-oh-oh!

Warm weather all year?
Sounds cool.

- Actually, it sounds warm.

- [squeaking]

Tina: But now I live
in City Town,

where it gets cold enough
to actually snow.

Ooh, I can't wait to play
in the snow and make snowballs

and snow angels, and what
I want to do most of all is...

learn how to make
my very first snowman!

- We can help you with that.
- [squeaks]

- You can? You can?

I can't wait! I can't wait!

- Well, uh, you'll have
to wait a little longer,

till after school.

Right now, it's time
to get back to class.

Let's go!

- Okay, I'll meet you
in the hall right after school.

I can't believe I'm gonna
go out into the actual snow

and build
my very first snowman!

It's gonna be Turbo-tastic!
Whoo-hoo!

[energetic music]

- [squeaks]

Mr. Sparks:
The day went speeding by,

and as soon as school
was done...

[bell rings]

My students were ready

to help their speedy friend

build her first snowman.

- Come on.
Let's go!

- Adios, Mr. Sparks.

- Hasta mañana.
Have fun in the snow!

- Oh, we will.
Where's Turbo Tina?

I thought she'd be
the first one here.

- Oh, I'm sure she'll come
zooming in any second now.

- [grunting]

Here I am.
[whines]

Look at me. Look at me.
I'm ready for the snow!

Oh, I finally get to wear
all my new winter clothes.

- Looks like you're
wearing them all at once.

- [laughs] I didn't know
how much to put on.

I'm used to wearing
sandals and shorts.

- Let's go play in the snow!
- Race you outside!

- Oh, boy. Oh, boy!
Oh, boy!

- You might have
to take a few things off

to get up to turbo speed.

- [grunting]

Um, a little help, please?

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoo-hoo!
Whoo, whoo!

[giggles]
Thanks.

Now let's get out in that snow
and build a snowman!

- Yeah!

[spunky music]

- Oh, it's so beautiful.
- So soft!

- Beautiful!
- So fresh.

- Ooh, snow, snow!
It's really snow!

It's so cold and white
and fluffy and wonderful and--

[gasps]
Uh-oh, look.

[sad music]

Where's the rest of the snow?

It was everywhere this morning.

- Oh, it must have melted.

- Don't worry about it, Tina.

There's still plenty of snow
for us to play in right here.

[laughter]

- Wow!

- Look, Tina, this is
how you make a snow angel.

- Yeah, watch.
[laughs]

- Wow, I've got to try that!

Snow angel,
snow angel, snow angel!

Ooh, I love it!

[laughter]

- And this is how
you make a snowball.

[playful music]

♪ ♪

- Whoa--wow!
- [chuckles]

That's how AJ Gadgets
makes a snowball.

The rest of us use our hands.

Like this.
Oof! Hey!

- [gasps]
Uh-oh.

[grunts, chuckles]

- Duck!
all: Whoa!

- Oop--oops!

- Oh, hey, another one!
Oh--oh, ah.

- [laughs] Oops.

That's not
how it's supposed to work.

Maybe I can turn it off
with this.

♪ ♪

Whew.

- I didn't know snowballs
could be so much fun!

Now can I make
my very first snowman?

- Yeah, a little problem.

We've kind of used up
all the snow.

- Oh, no!

- Oh, I guess there isn't
enough to make a snowman now.

- Oh, you're gonna make
your first snowman today, Tina.

We'll figure out a way.

- Yes, we shall help you.
- Right.

[gasps]
How about we use our...

all: Superpowers of Science!

- Let's start
by asking a question.

Since there was snow here
that didn't melt,

could there be snow
somewhere else?

- Maybe.
Let's investigate.

We can spread out and see
if we notice any more snow.

- Good idea.
- Let's go!

[upbeat jazz music]

- This'll be a snap!

♪ ♪

- Oh...hmm.

There's some snow
under the tall slide.

- There's no snow on the field.

Whoa!
Oof!

But I did get a face full
of snow near the climbing wall.

- There's no snow
by the little trees.

- Whoa, but there's
lots of snow

next to the big pine trees!

Whoops!
[laughs]

- So I have a new question.

Why is there snow
in some places

and not in other places?

Lucita: Team, come back
near the school.

I noticed something
that you've got to see.

- [grunts] What is it, Lucita?
- What's going on?

- Look at the snowballs!

See how they're nice and round?
Sara: Yeah.

- But look at those over there.
Notice anything different?

- It looks like
these snowballs are melting.

They're smaller
and not really round anymore.

- But these snowballs
are not melting.

- Right.
Why?

- I don't know.
Tina: [shivers]

The only thing I do know is--

whew--I'm not used
to the cold.

[shivers]

Ah, that's better.

[sun sizzling]

It's warmer in the sun.

- [whooshes]

[gasps]
Wait a minute.

It is warmer in the sun.

And it's shining here
but not over there.

- Hmm.

[gasps]
You're right!

And remember
what we noticed before?

Thought projecting.

Wherever the sun is shining,
there's no snow.

But wherever the sun
isn't shining, there is snow.

- Aha, so the warmth of the sun

melted all the snow
it shined on.

- [gasps]
That must be it!

You solved the mystery!

- Go, team!
- Yes! That's it!

- Whoo-hoo!
- So smart!

- But we still have to help you
build that snowman.

I bet if we put together
all the snow we found,

there'll be enough
to make a great snowman!

- Oh, yeah, let's do it!
Let's do it! Let's do it!

- We just have to build it in
a place that's out of the sun

so it won't melt.

- Sounds like we have a plan!

- And who's the crew
who knows what to do?

[exciting music]

all: Sparks' Crew
to the rescue!

♪ ♪

- Let's move fast
before any more snow melts.

- It's Turbo Time!

♪ ♪

[gasps]

Do you think we have
enough snow now?

- I think so,
and we're not in the sunlight,

so the snow
won't melt too fast.

- So ready to build
your first-ever snowman?

- Yes, I'm so ready!
I can't wait another minute!

What do I do?

- Well, first we need to
roll up three big snowballs--

big, bigger, and biggest.

- Got it!

[grunting]

Okay, done.
Big, bigger, biggest.

Now what?

- We have to put them
in a stack, like this--

one, two, three.

- Um...
[grunts]

A little help, please?

[knuckles cr*ck]

- [grunting]

[sighs]
- [giggles]

One, two, three.
It's almost done.

Now what?
- [gasps]

How about sticks for arms?
- Yes!

- And a pinecone for a nose?

- Love it!
I'll get it!

- And you can use these rocks
for eyes and a...

[chuckles]
Mouth.

- Hmm, I think he needs
one more thing.

Be right back!

[giggles]

Perfect.

- Now, that's a snowman.
- Wow, great job.

- Awesome.
- Oh, he's a beaut.

- So what do you think
of your first snowman?

- Ooh, I love it!
I love it! I love it!

It's the most fantastic
first snowman ever!

I can't wait
till it snows again

so I can build
my second snowman!

[laughter]
- So much snow!

Mr. Sparks: And so my
super students saved the day

by keeping their cool

and proving that they're
the crew who snows what to do.

all: ♪ We all belong
at Hero Elementary ♪

Mr. Sparks: Even hero students
like to play a friendly game

of T-ball at recess,
but before the day was over,

they would be thrown
a real curveball.

And she's safe!
- Aw!

- Way to go, Turbo Tina!

- Up to bat,
Sara...Sara...Sara...

Snap...Snap...Snap!

[funky music]

- Whoo-hoo!

- Got it!

- Nice catch, Lucita.
- Aw.

- Good effort, Sara.

Next up,
Benny...Benny...Benny...

Bubbles...Bubbles...Bubbles!

- [squeaks]

- [grunts]

- [groans]
Whoa!

- A stretch of a catch
by Rubber Band Robbie!

- Uh-oh.

[dinging]

- [squeaks]

- Huh?

[bell rings]

- Ah, okay, recess is over.
Let's bring it in.

- Oh, yeah!
- Sounds good!

- That was so fun.
- See you!

- Maybe someday,
we'll be good enough

to join the Westside Whammers
T-ball team.

- Well, at least we get
to see them

in the championship game
this afternoon!

- [gasps]
All right, go, Mr. Sparks!

- For real?
- Oh, my gosh!

- I can't wait!

[The Sparkinator beeping]

- The Sparkinator.

Sara: That's Force Field.

It's where they're gonna
play the big game.

Lucita: What's going on?
Hector: Hey.

We need those baseballs
for the game!

Come back!

- Looks like trouble.
[gasps] We should go help.

- Well, who's the crew
who knows what to do?

[exciting music]

all: Sparks' Crew
to the rescue!

♪ ♪

- Whoa.
Who are you?

- Sparks' Crew at your service.

- [gasps]
Hey, you're Homerun Hector,

best player on the
Westside Whammers T-ball team.

- We're coming to see you play
in the championship game today.

- If there is a game.

I was just practicing when a
girl grabbed all our baseballs

and took off...juggling them!

- Juggling?

- Yes!
And no baseballs means no game.

- Then we just need
more baseballs.

I'll go get ours from school.
Be back in a snap.

- What?
Where'd she go?

- Oh, she'll be back.

- Huh, that's weird.

Our bucket of baseballs
is empty,

but we were just using them.

- Hmm, someone must have
taken them.

- Maybe it was the same
juggling girl.

- Oh, we've got to solve
this problem before game time.

Maybe we should use our...

all: Superpowers of Science!

- Sara and I can look
for evidence--you know, clues--

to see if we can find
that juggling girl.

- And AJ and I can investigate
to see if there's another kind

of ball we could use
for the game.

- Don't worry, Hector.
We're on it.

- Let's go!

[hopeful music]

- Okay, what kind of ball
could we use

instead of a baseball?

- Oh, I know!
Bubble up!

- Whoa...a bubble?

- Yeah, it's about
the same size as a baseball.

- But won't it pop
when I hit it?

- Oh, my bubbles
are ultra strong.

- Let's test it out to see
if we can use it for a ball.

- Okay.

[whimsical music]

Okay.
[grunts]

Huh.

- It moved so slowly
when you hit it

and didn't go too far.

Why doesn't the bubble move
like a baseball?

- Thought projecting.
- Whoa.

- Let's see.

The bubble squished around
the bat when it was hit.

- It didn't happen like that
with the baseball.

- Hmm, let's compare.

- I bet it's because
the baseball is harder.

- So maybe we need a ball
as hard as a baseball.

- Oh, yeah, you're right!
Good idea!

Mr. Sparks: Meanwhile,
Sara and Lucita were searching

for a girl with a lot
of balls in the air.

- Mini golf?

You think a juggler
would be here?

- Well, she does juggle balls,

and mini golf has golf balls.

- Hmm, make that
had golf balls.

They're all gone.

- Ooh, it's a clue!

She must've been here already.

[eerie music]

- Or she's still here.
Look!

♪ ♪

- Oh, hi.

- Who are you?
- I'm Jodi Juggler.

Were you looking
for a golf ball?

- Uh, actually, we were looking
for some baseballs.

- Any chance you took some
that didn't belong to you?

- Oops, I might have.
Sorry.

I have the power
to super juggle,

but when I see a ball,
I can't help myself.

I have to juggle it.

- Is that a bowling ball
in there?

- Well, can we have
the baseballs back, please?

We need them for a big game
that's about to start.

- Oh, I'm so sorry,

but I haven't learned
how to stop juggling yet.

- Hmm, maybe I can get one.

Whoa!

[screams]

- Youch! Oof.

Well, it's not a baseball,

but maybe a golf ball
will work.

Lucita: [whimpers]

Get it back to Hector
as fast as you can.

- On it!

- Whoa!
- Ta-da!

I've got a ball
you can play with.

- A golf ball?
It's so small.

- But it is a ball...

[tapping]
And it is hard.

Not squishy like a bubble.

- And it's almost game time.
Let's test it out.

- Okay.
[grunts]

[energetic music]

- Um, that went too far.

- Maybe because the golf ball
was smaller than a baseball

and weighed less.

- Then what we need is a ball
that's hard like a baseball

and the same size and weight
as a baseball.

- Hmm, what kind of ball
could be right?

Thought projecting.

Soccer ball, basketball,

Rubber Band Robbie ball.

- Rubber Band Robbie?
- He goes to our school.

- Wait...rubber bands.
That's it!

Sara, can you pop back
to school and bring back

a bunch of rubber bands
from Mr. Sparks?

- I don't know where
you're going with this,

but you got it, AJ.

Classroom.
- Whoa!

- Here you go.
- Thanks.

See, if you wrap the rubber
bands around each other

like this, you get...ta-da!

Hector: Whoa!
A rubber band ball!

- Wow!
- Great idea!

But will it work?
Let's compare.

The rubber band ball is harder
than a bubble ball.

- And it looks larger
than a golf ball.

- It's about the same size
as a baseball,

and--and it feels like
it's about the same weight.

But does it move
like a baseball?

- Let's test it out.
- Give it a hit, Hector!

- [grunts]

[all cheering]
Benny: It worked!

- [grunts]

- Whoo-hoo!

And now that we have a ball
that will work,

we can totally play
the championship game!

[all cheering]
- Wait.

Where's Lucita?
Lucita: I'm right here.

And I brought someone with me.

Everyone, this is Jodi Juggler.

- Wow.
- Amazing.

Benny: That's cool.

- Hey, you're the one
who took our baseballs.

- Sorry about that.

I'm still learning
how to super juggle

and I use a lot of balls.

- And once she starts,
she doesn't know how to stop.

- It's no prob, 'cause now
we have a new kind of ball

for the game.

Here, Hector.

all: No!

- Oops, I did it again.
I didn't mean to.

- Now what do we do?

- Wait, Hector, you use a bat

to hit baseballs
and make them move,

so maybe we can use the bat

to move the balls
Jodi is juggling.

- I think Sara might be
onto something.

AJ, can we use one of your, um,
Superpowers of Science?

- Superpowers of Science
are powers anyone can use--

you too, Hector.

- Okay, then.
Let's test it out.

- Get ready to catch, everyone.

[exciting music]

♪ ♪

[grunts]

♪ ♪

[all cheering]
- It worked!

- Oh, finally.
Whoo, my arms are tired!

Thanks.

- We've got plenty of baseballs
for the game now.

- Ooh!
- Uh-uh-uh!

- Oh, right.

I've got to learn
to stop myself.

If only I had something
to keep my hands busy.

- [gasps]
I might know just the thing.

- Rubber bands?

- Yeah, AJ can show you
how to make them into a ball.

- Like this one.
- Really?

That means I could make
my own balls to juggle!

- And you wouldn't have
to take anyone else's.

- Oh, it's perfect!

- Class, there you are.

I have our tickets.

- Ooh, let's get our seats.
- Good luck, Hector!

woman: The game is tied here
at the T-ball championship.

Homerun Hector is up at bat
for the Whammers.

He gets ready, and...wham!

That ball is out of here!

[all cheering]

- Yeah, I got it!

Mr. Sparks:
