Mr. Sparks: It was a peaceful
day in City Town...

- Ah.

Mr. Sparks:
But you never know

when things could come
crashing down around you.

[bird chirping]

- Oh, no!

Ugh, I forgot to put mustard
on my veggie burger!

♪ ♪

[school bell ringing]

Mr. Sparks: Meanwhile,
at Hero Elementary,

my students were getting ready
to eat their own lunches.

- Hey, look,
a new kind of power bar.

- Ooh, I can always
use more power.

Meet you at the table!

[whooshes]

- [grunts]

AJ, can you toss me an orange?

- Sure.

[light music]

Get ready to catch!

- [laughs]

- Oops.

- I'll get it!
- [gasps, laughs]

- Here you go.
- Thanks, Sara.

- Look what I got.
Macaroni and cheese!

- Don't you always have
macaroni and cheese for lunch?

- Yes, I like what I like.

- [munches]
Hmm?

[alarm blaring]

- The Sparkinator!

- [gasps]
There must be trouble!

AJ:
Is that a giant hamburger?

Benny: Yeah, and those people
can't get out the door.

- They look like they could use
some heroic help.

- Well, who's the crew
who knows what to do?

all:
Sparks' Crew to the rescue!

[upbeat music]

- [snaps fingers]

Huh?
What's going on?

- Sara?
I-is something wrong?

- I can't teleport!
[grunts]

- That's strange.

- Wait a minute.

[strains, gasps]

Oh, no!
My super strength is gone, too!

- What could make you
suddenly lose your powers?

- [gasps]
Coconut!

This happens
whenever I eat coconut!

But all I ate
was this power bar--

[gasps]

It has coconut in it!
[groans]

- Ay, no!

- [squeaks]

- My superpowers
are super gone!

[upbeat jazzy music]

♪ ♪

- All right, Sparks' Crew,
what have we got?

- A super-sized burger
blocking the door.

- And people trapped inside.

[door bells ring]

No one can get out.
- Or get in.

I, like, just want to get
some mustard for my burger.

- Fear not,
people of City Town!

For we shall move
this bunned behemoth!

all:
Huh?

- You know,
this giant burger thingy.

- Oh!
[laughs]

All right, let's lift it up.

[all straining, grunting]

- Well, I guess I'll eat
my fries for now.

[all continue straining,
exhale deeply]

- This burger is
way too heavy to lift.

- Too heavy for us.
But not for Sara!

Um, where is Sara, anyway?

- Yeah, she should have been
here by now.

[horn honks]

- [grunting]

- Sara, why'd you come
in the van?

- Because I can't teleport.

- Huh?
Why not?

- There was a little problem.

- I ate coconut.

And whenever I do,

I lose my powers,
just like that!

Aww.
- Whoa!

She really can't teleport!

- Do you still have
super strength?

- Nope, it's gone, too.

See?

[straining]

[groans]

- Oh, Sara, I can't believe
you lost all your powers!

- Just from eating coconut?
I mean, that can happen?

- There are lots of heroes
who can lose their powers

because of something unusual.

Thought projecting.

Hail Caesar can't make hail
if he drinks hot cocoa.

And Branchman can't even
go near a campfire.

- You see, Sara?

Even some
of the most powerful heroes

can lose their powers
now and then, too.

- Yeah.
I should be fine by tomorrow.

- Oh, good.

But how are we going to move
this giant burger now?

- I don't know.

I can't do anything
without my superpowers.

- Of course you can.

You still have other powers
you can use.

- [gasps]
Oh, yeah!

We can use our...

all:
Superpowers of Science!

- Exactamente!

- Let's try to figure out
a solution.

- Okay, we know that the burger
is really big and really heavy.

- Uh-huh, too heavy to lift.
- [gasps]

So maybe we don't
try to lift it.

Maybe we push it instead.

- An interesting plan.
- [squeaks]

- Let's test it out.
- Stand back!

I shall push this giant burger
with a giant bubble!

Whoa!
[grunts]

[laughs]

My bubble pushed me instead.
[chuckles]

- Lucita, maybe we can give
the burger a stronger push

if we get a running start.

- Or a flying start.

[heroic music]

[loud clang]

[both groan]

- Did it move at all?

- Well, no.

- We're never gonna
move this thing!

- Well, don't give up.

Sometimes you have to try
lots of things

before you figure out
a solution.

- What if we all push together?

The more people,
the stronger the push, right?

- Oh, yeah,
that's a good plan.

- Okay, everyone,
let's test it out.

- I'll push, too.
- [squeaks]

Sara:
Ready? Push!

[all straining]

- It's not moving!

- Okay, maybe pushing
isn't the way to go.

What if we try
pulling it instead?

- Yeah, pulling is another way
to move things.

Good plan.
- Let's give it a try.

Ready?
Pull!

[all straining]

- [squeaks]
- [groans]

It's really hard to move things

when you don't
have super strength.

- That's how it is
for us all of the time!

- Yes, and you always
figure out some way

to solve a problem.

- So, like,
I'm done with my fries,

but I could still really go

for some mustard
on my burger, yeah?

- [squeaks]

[bright music]

[squeaks]

♪ ♪

- [gasps]
Fur Blur got in!

- Maybe she has
a plan of her own.

- [squeaks]

- Mustard!
Awesome.

- [squeaks]

[tense music]

- Fur Blur!
- Oh, no!

- Let's go!

- Oh, yeah.

- [pants]
My little buddy!

- My little mustard!

- Almost, almost!

- Look out!

- [squeaks]

[dramatic music]

♪ ♪

- Uh-oh!

♪ ♪

Ah, perfect!

[munches, sighs]

Delicious!
Thanks, little heroes!

[light music]

♪ ♪

- Well,
that's one problem solved.

Isn't that right, Furry?
- [squeaks]

- But we still have to
figure out

how to move this giant burger.

- [sighs] Nothing we've tried
has worked.

- Hmm, that just means
you're getting closer

to figuring out what will work.

- Okay, let's think.

Hmm, what do we know
about this burger?

- We already noticed
that it's super big.

- And super heavy.

- And I notice that the bun
is round on the top...

[gasps]
But flat on the bottom.

- Mm-hmm.
Good observation.

- Too bad the bun's
not round all over.

Then we could
roll it out of the way,

like how that
mustard bottle rolled.

- But this bottle
isn't round all over.

It's flat on the bottom,
just like the bun is.

See?

It can only roll
when it's on its side.

Sara: Right, it's the bottle's
sides that are round.

- Wait a minute.
I have to see something.

Aha!
Take a look at this!

[device beeps]

This burger is round when you
look at it from up here!

[camera shutter clicks]

[device beeps]

- You're right!
The sides are round!

So maybe we can roll this
giant burger out of the way

if we tip it onto its side!

- Great plan!

- Except there's one problem.

How are we gonna tip it

if it's too heavy
for us to lift?

- Hmm.
Oh!

Maybe we can push it after all,
from underneath.

- Huh?
We can't get under there.

- [squeaking]

- [chuckles]
Nice try, Fur Blur.

But that burger's
too heavy for you.

- But it's not too heavy
for a super growing bubble.

[grunts]

- It's working!
- [laughs]

Go, Benny, go!

- Let's get it on its side.

[both straining]

- Nice work!

- Now let's test it to see
if this burger will roll.

[both straining]

- It's rolling!

- [laughs]
Wow!

It's much easier to move
this way!

- We did it!
- Fantástico!

- Whoo-hoo!
- Whoo!

- Oh, thank you so much.
- Thank you so much. Oh, man.

- [gasps]
The burger!

- Oh, no!
- Uh-oh!

- Don't worry, I got this!

All it takes is a little push.

Uh, team!

[all grunt]

- Oh, yeah!
- We did it!

- Go, Sparks' Crew!
- Whoo-hoo!

- Well done, class!
You really saved the day.

- Huh, and I didn't need
my superpowers to do it!

Except my Superpowers
of Science, of course.

- Now, what do we do
about this giant burger?

- It's got to go
back up on the roof.

- But how are we going to
get it up there?

- Not a prob.

I'll just lift it
and teleport it up there...

- But...
- Tomorrow...

when my powers are back.

[all laugh]

Mr. Sparks:
It started out

as a water training day
at the lake,

but soon my students would
find a monster of a problem.

- Hi, Ranger Ruby.

- Hello, there, Sparks' Crew!

It's a great day to be
out on Super Superior Lake.

- [yells]
Whoa!

- We saw it!
We saw Soupy!

It chased us!

- Ugh, not again!

- What's going on?

- Wait, you don't have to go!

- We're not taking any chances
with Soupy.

- What's a Soupy?
- [sighs]

There are stories about people
seeing a mysterious creature

in Super Superior Lake.

They call it Soupy.

Some people say
it's a lake monster.

- Ooh, a lake monster?
- No way.

There's no such thing
as monsters.

- That's what I keep
telling visitors,

but they don't believe me.

- They must have
seen something.

- Yes, but who knows what?

Whatever Soupy is,
it's scaring people away.

- What a shame.
The lake is so beautiful.

- Sounds like we need to find
out what Soupy really is.

That way, people
won't be scared anymore.

- Ah!
And how will you do that?

- No mystery there.

in Adventure Lagoon.

Benny: It totally looks like
a lake monster!

what one looks like?

Let's go and see Soupy
for ourselves.

[straining, grunting]

to get to Adventure Lagoon.

just down the shore a bit.

- I'll meet up with you.
[straining]

Who's the crew
who knows what to do?

Sparks' Crew to the rescue!

[dynamic music]

Mr. Sparks: So they all went
to Adventure Lagoon...

Which didn't look
very adventurous.

- I wonder what
those buildings were for?

Sara:
Look!

- What is it?
Sara: Merry-go-round,

swings, pedal boats!

This used to be an amusement
park called Adventure Lagoon!

- Oh!

Well, the only adventure I need
is to see Soupy!

Let's go look around.

- Right.
Come on, AJ.

We can search for Soupy
from above.

[heroic music]

[inquisitive music]

♪ ♪

Benny:
Sara, look!

I see something!

- What is it?

- A lake monster!

I told you!
Didn't I tell her?

- [squeaks]

[tense music]

- AJ, Lucita,
look behind you.

There's something
under the trees!

- It must be Soupy!
What do we do?

- Um, let's get a closer look.

[whooshing]

It's just a log.

everyone saw,

and they just thought
it was a monster.

Soupy chased them.

some kind of animal.

- I don't know about all the
animals that live around here.

What kind of animals
swim in the lake?

- Well, there's fish,

and frogs and turtles
and beavers...

- [squeaking]

[curious music]

[wood creaking]

about the animals

that live around here.

Maybe you'll find
some more information.

- Do you have a book
about lake monsters?

- Hmm, no.

But we might find something
on the Internet.

- Hmm.
Something big that can swim.

- [gasps] Look, it says these
fish can grow this big!

- But those fish don't have
a long neck like Soupy.

- Right!
- So let's keep looking.

That swan has a long neck.

Lucita:
But swans are small and white.

And whatever is in our photo
is big and green.

[Fur Blur squeaks]
all: Huh?

- [squeaking]

- Fur Blur!
What are you doing?

[tense music]

- [chuckles]

- "Soupy."

[computer beeps]

I don't want a soup recipe.

- Let's try...

"Soupy from
Super Superior Lake."

- Ooh, that's more like it!

Hey, team, check this out!

- "Soupy is the famous monster
of Super Superior Lake."

- You see?

This website says
Soupy's a monster!

- But further down,
it also says

there's no real proof
that Soupy is real.

- But look,
there's a video!

[computer beeps]

[gasps]
There it is!

Lucita: [gasps]
It's chasing that boat!

Ruby: Hmm, there's
something very odd

about how it moves.

- Now do you believe
it's a monster?

- Nuh-uh.

We still need more information
to know what Soupy really is.

We need to see it
for ourselves.

- Fine.

And then you'll see
that I am right!

Come on!
Let's use the boat this time.

- [straining, grunting]

- Mr. Sparks,

can we use the boat?

- Uh, I am afraid not.
It's, uh, really stuck.

[sighs]

[grunts]

and there's no sign
of Soupy anywhere.

'cause there's no such thing
as a lake monster.

- Maybe we should just go.

- Yeah, I guess.

- Whoa!

What was that?

- [strains]

Something's stuck on our boat.

[tense music]

♪ ♪

[straining]

Huh?

[water bubbling]

♪ ♪

[yells]

Team?

[all scream]

Lake Monster!

- Sara, get us out of here!

[suspenseful music]

♪ ♪

- [grunts]
It's still after us!

- I don't want to be
a lake monster's lunch!

[yells]

- Must row faster!
- Go, go, go!

- Soupy's chasing us!

♪ ♪

- Hang on!

Uh, doesn't Soupy
remind you of something?

- [squeaks]

- Yeah, a lake monster
that's after us!!

- No, no, wait, wait!
I know what it is!

Sara, stop rowing.

- What?
We have to get out of here!

- No, it's okay.
Trust me.

- All right.
I trust you.

- It's slowing down,

but it's coming closer.

[all shuddering]

- Hmm, hand me an oar.

[straining]

Just need to get it closer.

Closer...

[grunts]

- [squeaking]

- Closer...

[all gasp]

- It's a giant swan?

- Sure is. Yep!
Can you believe it?

- [squeaking]

- So that's the monster?

But why was it chasing us?
- Hmm.

that question.

This rope got
stuck on our boat!

[light music]

It's a swan boat!

- Thought projecting.

It must be one of those
swan pedal boats

from the old amusement park!

- Yeah, I guess it was
underwater all this time.

- Yeah, till a boat pulls on
its rope and up it comes.

- No wonder it looked like
it was chasing the boats.

- Come on, Soupy.

There are some people
you need to meet.

- I can't believe it was
an old swan boat all along!

- Increíble!
- [squeaks]

- Well, Benny figured out
what Soupy really was first.

- [scoffs]
Ha!

Yeah, I knew
it wasn't a lake monster.

- Uh-huh.
[laughter]

- Well, thanks to you,
Sparks' Crew,

Super Superior Lake
is officially monster-free.

I just hope
people will come back

and give our park
another chance.

- Hmm.

I think we can help
with that, too.

Mr. Sparks:
And Benny was right.

After a few weeks
and a few coats of paint,

the new, not-so-scary Soupy

was the lake's
main attraction.

All was well
at Super Superior Lake,

and that is a fact.
