Now, the only way we're gonna beat Brawly

is for us to learn how to concentrate better.

think of that as your opponent.

Keep concentrating 'til you feel the motion

The reason that Ash lost at the Dewford Gym

is because he got too worked up, right?

So at this point, it's much more important for Ash

to be building up patience and calm judgment

rather than building up technique and power.

for the whole thing and I even based the whole style of it

on Steven's battling.

My Pokémon's movements are nice and smooth.

and then I'm gonna catch it.

When Pikachu's Thunderbolt sent all that sand flying up

in the air I'm sure I saw something

that looked like a red horn.

Not sure. I really didn't get that good of a look.

But I know it's gonna come back, that's for sure.

What happened before will happen once more.

And that means there's only one way we can trap it

So all this time it was a Corphish we were after.

- It's all making sense now. - Huh?

Corphish have super aggressive personalities.

Which is why they'll just go barreling right through anything

that happens to be standing in their way.

'So, it was just blowing away everything'

'that was a nuisance to it.'

'Us, Team Rocket, even our tent!'

[ANGRY]

It's not only aggressive, it's annoying too.

Yeah, but super powerful.

'even when it got caught in Wurmple's String Shot.'

Corphish is a Water type. Pikachu's got the advantage.

Corphish's Pincers are really strong.

And it even used the speed of that Iron Tail Attack

to send Pikachu flying.

Like it knew what Pikachu was gonna do.

How do you beat something like that?

Yeah, and every time I hit it with an attack

it cuts them right off.

Treecko's a Grass type so all the Water attacks

Corphish wants to do won't do any damage.
