I'm Professor Cerise. This is my lab.

And now I'd like you to meet your guides for today.

Two very special young men.

Now, everyone, what are we investigating today?

Right. Pokémon are fascinating and wonderful creatures.

Not to mention awe-inspiring and mysterious.

Even here in Vermilion City,

you'll find all kinds of Pokémon in all kinds of places.

My hope is for you to learn lots more about Pokémon,

and develop a real fondness for them, too!

It is with that hope in mind

that I set up this Pokémon Orienteering session.

I believe you've already divided yourselves into three teams, correct?

Please look at this.

Next, you will split up by team and make your way toward Vermilion Port.

To see how each team performs,

we'll be keeping track of the Pokémon you observe along the way.

So make sure you spot as many Pokémon as you can, okay?

while we do Pokémon Orienteering.

then Nidoking.

The less-aggressive female Nidoran

first evolves into Nidorina, then Nidoqueen.
